Changes to AF whilst trying to sway girl
Just wonder if anyone else is experiencing changes to their AF whilst following the LE diet? I have been on the diet (albeit very loosely) for the last 6 or so months. I have lost around 16-18lbs in that time. The last few cycles I have found AF has gotten considerably lighter but more painful. Is this normal?

Popple - for the most part AF while on LE for me has been very light and short. I haven't experienced more pain, personally.

AF itself is not more painful and maybe itīs a bit ligther but I have AF pain one week befor AF arrives!! I do not know if there is a link to LE diet?? I am on LE diet for 6 months now and I recognize this pain for the last three cycles.

I've had this for the last 3 cycles too! Before doing the diet I would only experience AF pain on the day it started then AF would be medium to heavy for a couple of days then 2-3 days of lighter flow. Since loosing some weight and following the diet I have found I get AF cramps in the 5-7 days running up to AF and mild pain with AF. The flow is more like what my last 2-3 days of AF used to be like pre-weightloss and diet. My slight concern is that my AF is lighter as I am perhaps not ovulating?? The only reassurance I have is that they are still very regular (29-31days).

That's reassuring, thanks Atomic! Really REALLY hoping this is my cycle for getting a bfp. We have been dtd every four days but this month (I'm currently on cd4) I have purchased some ovulation tests to try and pin point ovulation and will perhaps add in another attempt at the positive result (if I get one that is!). Really quite keen to get pregnant now!

Yes! I definitly recognize the same!!
However I am quite sure that I am ovulating. (always CD 11; AF 14 d later; clear temp rise).
And I guess ligth AF is due to low protein. A few years ago I was doing a high protein diet to loose weight and AF was very intensive (and some women on a special forum also noticed that).
I`d love to see a BFP this cycle!!! I will have my attempt on thursday!
I cross my fingers for your and me!!!Sorry for my bad English! - I am from Austria!!

No, light AF is not due to protein intake. It's your hormone levels changing. My AF are getting lighter due to age and I am eating plenty of protein.
When you're on the "high protein" diets your hormone levels tend to rise.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
