    Yeast infection and 2ww

    I know its safe to take monistat while prego but during the 2ww?? Tried yogurt for a couple days and is not helping one bit. Uggg. Anyone use monistat in 2ww???

    Omg tmi but just passed a huge doughy clump. That has never happened before. Took peroxide bath today and eating yogurt.

    Eating yogurt doesn't help make it go away. You actually ahve to use plain unsweetened yog. as cream in the VJ region to repopulate the area with the good guys and outcompete the yeast.

    Last cycle I had to use monistat in the 2WW. I didn't end up getting pregnant but the doctor told me it was fine to use if I was pregnant, but only the 7-day version so you are getting a smaller dose of the medicine each day.

    Question - Are you using and vag gels? I swear RePhresh caused the infection for me and I've dropped it from my sway for that reason.

    Any time you change the vag. environment it can cause yeast infection. Both more acidic and alkaline. It's a matter of giving the yeast a leg up vs. the other "good guys".

    I did use acijel two times. Ended up getting the 7 day monistat after trying natural stuff for a week.
    Its A Girl!!
