Fat vs protein
Just a quick question as it crossed my mind this afternoon; if we are marginally going over one of the allowances, but way under on the over, do they counterbalance each other? Or does it not work like that?? I'm quite a bit under for my fat but I've just tipped over my protein today but there's next to nothing that can be eaten that's got no protein in but has got fat?!x

A mars bar?!
I don't think it's over individual days, maybe just aim to balance it out over the week

No, they don't. They fulfill different functions in the human body (example, you wouldn't take Vit. C and expect it to do the same thing as Vit. D) and we need to be in the limits of both. The LE Diet is already AT the minimum healthy intake so it's best not to drop below that.
I prefer you guys try to hit the minimums every day and not have it average out over a week. Doing it that way means your body is "nervous" when you're not getting enough and will go out of its way to store it up when you exceed limits.

In the DM section there is an essay called "quick fixes for diet disasters" that has lots of ideas for how to get fat without protein or vice versa.
My advice is butter, whipped cream, avocado, or something with oil such as asparagus with oil/vinegar on top
