Specific diet questions about PCOS Pink Sway
I'm not strongly swaying currently, but am starting a casual PCOS/Pink Sway diet. I'm about 100 pounds and don't need to lose weight. I do cardio every day, and I have a regular cycle.
Just a few specific questions regarding best practices for this diet:
1. Should I still skip breakfast?
2. Is it best to have 3 small-ish meals a day, with no snacks? I know the right foods to eat, I'm just not sure when to eat them.
3. Sugar, artificial sweetener, or avoid both? I do real sugar now (in coffee, chocolate, light dessert).
Any advice is appreciated!
(Atomic, if you read this, I haven't had any issues with being underweight or trouble getting PG, so I wasn't sure if 'PCOS going HT' diet was necessary yet...)

1) and 2) Depends. You are already SO petite and the PCO-type diet does make weight fly off. I am inclined for you to start off eating even 4 or 5 meals and see what happens. We need to be super proactive making sure we do not lose too much weight here!
3)People who are doing PCO-type diet for preventative measuress and not moderate to severe PCOS have more flexibility with sugar. I do like you guys to lose it totally at the start most of the time BUT most people who are on this diet are not 100 lbs. Let's keep it in for now and see how it goes. I want to start off being very, very sure you are stable on weight and we can experiment with cutting it out over time.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

So, sticking with the coffee (my "breakfast") is okay for now, with a few hours between my 4-5 small meals (no snacks)?

I should add that I probably won't lose weight with this diet...my body seems quite content here. I don't gain much OR lose much, unless I really make drastic changes.
