Cheeky, yep I used them with both my girls. How quickly did the line appear? Post a pic anyway!! Ohh, exciting!!
well I thought I saw something 5 mins in but it was still dark here (7am)and that was under lights it got marginally 'darker' over the next 5/10 mins but really if you hold it a ruler away from you you would swear it is 'no line' you really gotta peer closely and you can see a faint line on the edge closest to the pee LOL more so if you look in natural light.............so I DUNNO...............will wait and see what the next few days bring........I am definately not counting my chickens yet.......but on the plus side I never get strong positives early on - DD1 was like day 14 and still faint for days after and DD2 was a 'squint i think i see something on 12dpo'...................

Thanks Cheeky and Bec. Good luck to you too also especially you Cheeky for this month. Hey I was watching Kerry Ann this morning (yes yes I know I am old) but there was a woman talking about gender disappointment. She wanted a girl but got a boy did you watch it? She said she tried everything including douching it sounds like and did not work. But KA was looking at her like "are you joking what kind of a joke is gender disappointment." And asking her questions like what do you have to say to people who can't have any babies and you have 2 healthy ones. So I think it is best to keep quiet about this swaying business and have a good chat on this very nice and supportive forum about it only.

Layla, go for it, sister! You are in good company with a lot of mid to late thirty-somethings on this forum, and we are in the same boat of wanting another baby and feeling like we don't have all the time in the world. I think you have a good shot at a nice sway!
3pnb, stoked to hear about your appt!
TTC5, if you feel the need to regroup and take 4 weeks, then that is a good thing to do. Hugs, I know it is frustrating, but just know that you will get preggers soon.
Cheeky, excited for you! Test again in a day or two!

Cheeky- I hate those taunting little ghost lines, I used to use the earlypregnancytests.com tests and got horrible evaps, everyone here thought one of them was positive, me included. If you get another questionable line go buy a frer for this month and maybe buy a different brand next time :)
Layla- great news!! fx on your attempt this month. FWIW I've always been a ohw, even my loss (which I was swaying) was a first month, one time dtd bfp. The length of my ttc this time was due to healing time from my Oct d&c, the first month things went back to normal I got my bfp. Yes I'm a freaky anomaly, 6 bfp's first month out and all, but it isn't necessarily going to take you a year. Like lola and I have said prepare yourself it'll take a few but don't think it'll never happen.
Yep people can be quite cruel about gd, it's definitely best to keep your feelings with those who can understand. I've told very few real life people, if I'm having a girl I don't want to hear "I told you it wouldn't work" or have people think I don't want her.
Thanks Ladies, I'm pretty excited for my appt tomorrow. Feels like it took forever to get here so I'm sure the next three weeks will feel longer then the whole rest of the pregnancy lol

Good luck for tomorrow, i'm sure all will be well. How many weeks are you now? I hear you about having a girl & people passing insensitive remarks or making you feel that you didnt want the baby girl. I had my first midwife appt on Mon & she told me that all preg women in UK are now advised to take Vit D because of the lack of sunshine here, i was also pleased to hear that they now do 3 scans, one for down's between 11-13wks, a dating one at 12wks & final one at 20wks. I cant believe i'm already 9wks.

Begonia, i see you craving watermelon, i too was last week but i think i ate too much of it that i dont want to see it now.
3PNB, what are your cravings & how's the nausea? Any vomiting?
Zivic, any news?

Baby- I'm 10 weeks tomorrow and have thus far spent more time avoiding then craving. Luckily no vomiting just queasy, lately the queasy has faded a bit and now I'm pretty much back to starving 24/7. I'm fascinated how such a tiny critter can demand so much food lol

Baby isn't it funny how the cravings can come and then go quickly? Today I woke up and really wanted a nectarine. I'm just glad it is finally fruit instead of chips or candy. Sounds like you'll have another scan then soon, how exciting! I'm really hoping they do one for dating at my appt 7/28.
Jen I can't wait to hear how the appt goes! Will DH go along?
Lola your attempt will be last week of this month I think? And your 1st time trying the clomid too, right? It seems like the months have flown by since your "ttc break" started. FX it happens fast.
Cemas I think you definitely got enough swimmers there from the 2 BD so I wouldn't worry about not going again. FX your BFP is this month; I agree with Baby ... I've seen you (and our dear Lola!) at this for so long I would just LOVE to see you all get your sticky little beans ASAP.
Cheeky keep us posted on the POAS saga! Sounds promising, hope it is for real!
It's funny but the more the days go by the less I care what I'm having. I've been praying constantly for a healthy baby and I think that's just taken so much of my focus off the boy/girl issue. I'm loving that  And hoping it continues; I had mild GD during pg with DD2 after finding out gender, and I think if I can avoid it while pregnant I won't have it all after birth. Once DD2 arrived I was fine, but of course I also knew that I'd have one more so still had a shot at a son ... this time I don't have that to fall back on. Anyhow, at the moment I feel great mentally and I'm just going to enjoy that while I can
Wonder how Skrimpy is doing these days! I need to go see if she updated the new blog, has anyone else been keeping up with it?

Though I do think it is OK to vent about it and have it, there's for sure a time and a place, and the place is somewhere like here where people understand you ... not on TV to an audience where MOST probably will have no clue about GD, and how often it has nothing to do with not caring/loving/adoring the kids you already have.

Yes, exactly! I would not want to see it on television....you know you will get some dissenters when presenting opinions/feelings of gd to the public like that. Just gives it all a bad name, which gd and swaying and all shouldn't have.

b- nope dh won't be coming, he went to every appt with dd#1 and 2 and lets face it they don't change and really aren't very interesting the 3rd and 4th time around. My midwife lets me record the heartbeat so he still gets the joy of that but neither of us see the need for him to skip out of work for it. He does come to the u/s though. We did talk about him coming tomorrow for support but the CEO of his company flew in unexpectedly and he's gotta going to lunch with him. Since no one at work knows I'm pregnant and there is no rational reason to think there's a problem he really has no reason to blow off the CEO so alone I go.
I hear ya on caring more for a healthy bean then a blue one, I'll take a healthy baby over a sick or lost one any day.

Yes, I am still swaying somewhat. I am 9DPO today, so expecting AF on Sunday or Monday and off I go on the Clomid! Because of that, I will be definitely using ew or preseed and will dtd every other day starting CD10. I asked my doctor about that, by the way, and told her I would like to make sure DH has high sperm counts (didn't tell her why, of course) and asked if that is better than abstaining for 2-4 days and then having a well-timed shot, and she said dtd every other day is the BEST thing to do for high sperm count, better quality sperm (as they get turned over instead of sit in the balls and get exposed to toxins in the body), and the odds of pregnancy happening are way higher than one time shot. So, I feel a lot better about that. Otherwise, I am taking a bunch of supps and am starting some drinks (ACV and ASG) tomorrow, actually. Gonna do some robitussin and MAYBE a bsf and hour at least before each bding. That's my plan!
Know what, I am going to list my supps here, just so you all can see what we are taking. I personally think it's a pretty good regimen for someone in my category- old(ish) and concerned with egg and sperm quality AND swaying blue!
Antioxidant Mix vitamin (has a BUNCH of stuff in it)
Co-Q10 (100mg)
Vit D
Royal Jelly capsule
Bee Pollen capsule
DHEA (75mg) with some TT in it
Vit E (400iui)
Fish Oil (1000mg)
Flaxseed Oil (1000mg)
EPO (1200mg)
Folic 800mg +B12 capsule
Prenatal Vitamin with DHA in it
Zinc (30mg)
Grass shake daily (wheatgrass, alfalfa, and barley mixture)
DH takes all the same except no EPO and DHEA. He also takes 1000mg of L-Arg a day, which I do not take for drying up reasons. So that's the plan, STAN!

So no test 5, booo!!! I saw your update on the 2WW thread though and just can't hold in the excitement, I'm really hoping you're a late BFP'er. I said it there too but those nosebleeds sure seem strange if not pg related.
Lola, that plan looks AWESOME. I totally dig it. All of it. You have a great list of supps there lady. You might should even post that in the TTC boy best practices so that those over 35 can see all the anti-ox. Good stuff and FX you get that healthy little bean in there soon.
Jen my DH won't be coming to the appt either. He'll be ticked if he misses an us but he's scheduled to be out of town. Really he didn't make it to any of DD2's or DD1's except for the us anyway! I don't mind. I'm a do-it-yourselfer, LOL!
OH but I'm super excited, my one friend who knows I'm pg has a doppler I can borrow! So I'll get to listen to my baby anytime I feel like it. She said she couldn't really use it til about 13 weeks but that's cool with me.
Baby did you post a pic and take it down? That's what I'm guessing to make sense of the comments :-) So cute that your DD has already "named" her brother! It's funny how kiddos have a gender preference isn't it? Have you asked her why she's hoping for a brother? I haven't told my ladies yet but my guess is DD1 will want a brother (bc she loves boy stuff anyway) and DD2 will waffle, because heck she's 2 and it's not like they are stellar decision makers. She'll probably be hoping it comes out a puppy instead of a human baby.

Hi ladies
Good news no thyroid issues. My bloods all came back very good, no diabetis either all is well. I have to tell you though the whole scare made me think about the possibility that I may not be able to have any more children and that scared the hell out of me. I want one more baby and asap. So I have decided to attempt this month. I have been on the diet for 6 weeks, I have been taking folate fish oil and B12. DH has been taking fish oil, B12 and zinc. I have been drinking lemon water and green tea. I did not intend to take any other supplements as such i do not need to wait for 3 months right? Also I am affected by ions a lot. And because of my freaky early period being the result of me stopping bf I should be ovulating very close to the full moon which never ever happens to me. I decided to take ural from today until O and make sure DH drinks cofee 1 hr before bd. I bought opk and will look for O but will bd on 2-3 days as well. You are all younger than me and it is taking you several months to get pg, I can't wait that long. So wish me luck I am doing this.
Sounds great layla! Are you using egg whites or preseed?

This comment upsets me way too much to hop on my soap box but I'll just say that yes, we should be happy with healthy children and the ability to conceive at all. God knows there are far worse things in this broken world then getting another child of the sex you didn't want. But you also need to love people where they are at, and the feelings are real. Stuffing them way way down doesn't help either.

I don't think I would ever go on national t.v. for anything. What people say on website comments......uh, no thanks. People should be ashamed of themselves for the horribly cruel and judgmental things they say, cuz apparently a computer makes you entitled to say whatever you want.
My FIL wanted to have us go on the Dr. Phil show to talk about the name we chose for DS2 after he died due to all the family drama the name we chose caused (we still don't talk to my FIL). Yeah right, 1st of all, Dr. Phil is always the next logical step....NOT! And 2nd of all, I would be crushed from all the horrible things people would say about either party and then the world's weigh in on the name we chose. Screw that!
I agree you need to be careful where you say things but I also don't think when I'm frustrated w/ my kids or sometimes even crying, that people should come up and tell me I should just be thankful for having kids at all and get over it, either. Love people where their at. We shouldn't dwell and we need to be healthy about disappointment and such, but let's have a little grace for people too. We are all doing the best we can. (this wasn't a comment to anyone on this site, just in general)
PMS or pregnancy.....not sure but I'm getting pretty amped right now. :)

I thought I was just getting fat from the boy diet but my stomach looks 3-4 months pregnant (especially right now w/ pms). My Dr. doesn't think my thyroid has anything to do w/ a bloated/distended lower abdomen but I found a lot of info online saying it does. Makes me have very little faith in Dr.'s. I was crying to DH since I've never been fat and it's seems like this is very hard to lose w/ thyroid issues. This has been a crappy year in so many ways and now I get to feel old, ugly and fat too. ho hum. I'm tired and going to bed.
BTW - my OB wants me to wait till my thryoid is under control (this is all by email so no face to face for more info) before ttc but I don't want to wait months and months to get my meds right (they only re-test every 2 months while figuring out dosage). Maybe this all points to I shouldn't have any more kids. :(

Cheeky, definitely a positive you have there. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
3PNB, how did your appointment go? Oh, you might not have had it yet actually. It's night here in Oz so I'm not sure what time it would be there...
Cemas, so now the 2ww begins! FX for you.
Begonia, it's good to hear how great you are feeling about everything :) I was so paranoid about my preg with DD2 that I hired a doppler at about 11 weeks, it was nice to be able to hear the HB whenever I wanted. It did stress me out unessecarily sometimes though, when I couldn't detect the HB.
Lola, your doctor sounds like she is on the ball. Your plan looks great. I really hope Clomid will do the trick.
TTC5, it's looking good! How long is your LP normally?
Baby, did you post a pic.. Oh I want to see too! Aww your daughter is cute, they say such funny things.
Iluv, I think you are spot on in saying that we should respect people whereever they are at. People are entitled to their own feelings and shouldn't be judged. Try not to be discouraged about TTC and being on thyroid meds. I know it's easier said than done though. Surely they can test more often than every 2 months?? Especially when you are TTC. The meds should take effect a lot sooner than a that anyway.

I don't think I would ever go on national t.v. for anything. What people say on website comments......uh, no thanks. People should be ashamed of themselves for the horribly cruel and judgmental things they say, cuz apparently a computer makes you entitled to say whatever you want.
Iluv I was going to get on the computer to say pretty much what you said here. I am not sure whether people misunderstood what I was saying. This woman was NOT ungrateful for her 2 georgeous boys. It was the media that was portraying her in that way. The qustions that she was being asked by the host and the response to the things that she was saying was dismissive of her emotions and making her look silly at best and ungrateful at worst. Btw Karry Ann is not a talk show such as Dr Phil it is just a host and then she has guests and there is also lots of infomertials and telesales things as part of the show.
I think the woman was against swaying actually. I think she was trying to say that she did all these things including "putting vinegar in places she cannot say out loud on TV" and when it did not work at week 19 when she was told a boy at the u/s she got gd and she did not enjoy her pregnancy she was miserable, but now all is good. She just wished she did not get carried away like that with swaying. But her message was lost...
One of my favourite Dr Seuss lines is: Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind do not matter and those who matter do not mind. I would add to that though as long as you do not say or do on TV...

Cheeky, CONGRATS! That looks like a positive test to me! I am sure you can find someone to sell or give those test to if you want to, LOL. Was this your first try?
Iluv, I am SO sorry you are going through this thyroid/weight gain crap....I feel the same way because my belly is definitely poofy now also. I used to be a size 4/6 and now I am almost in a 12! It gets me pretty bummed out also, but I just try to keep focusing on getting pg and telling myself I'll worry about it in a year or so. Which is way easier said than done when you KNOW everyone around you is thinking, man, she's really let herself go or something like that. And you don't feel very sexy anymore. But listen, I had to wait 3 months with the m/c and it went by really fast, so maybe just consider that you will take 2-3 months to let the meds work (if it even takes that long) and then ttc again? I don't know if that jives with your thinking right now, but a few months insn't that bad.....if I was told to wait more than 3, I don't know if I would like that too much, but 3 has not been bad. And you know what, you can even try during that time anyway and see if by chance you get pg, maybe?
Also, want to add that I hope my commentary didn't offend you or anyone either.....I have no idea who this talk show host is but my comment was based on thinking this woman got on the show to bad mouth swaying. I came from the perspective of a woman who is having a hard time getting pg and how irritated it would make me to see someone go on tv of all things to gripe. But yes, Layla, now that you mention that her issues were being distorted by the host and the show, I get what you are saying. Personally, I would never go on a show and talk about anything personal, but that is just my opinion. I do agree with you gals in that everyone has their own issues and demons, and people need to be accepted where they are at. Iluv, thank goodness you didn't go on Dr. Phil, that would have not helped you feel better about the whole situation, I am sure. Or even consider it!
TTC5, maybe this is it! GL for testing again today or tomorrow morning!!!
And thanks for the well wishes for the upcoming try everyone. xxoo

Layla - I think we got and I totally agree that national tv is not the place to discuss something like this. With Opera or Dr Phil maybe because they would treat it with kindness, but in general you're leaving yourself open to look ungrateful and selfish. GD is one of those things that people either get or they don't, if people get it they'll be sympathetic if they don't they'll be cruel. It's not right it's just, unfortunately, the way people are especially when protected by anonymity.

Lola - no offense here! A few weeks after my miscarriage I saw a woman with a cigarette in one hand and a RedBull in the other. Took all I had not to punch her in the face and scream horrible things at her, instead I went off on a huge blog rant about how unfair life is. I think we all get it.
Well ladies my appt is in about 3hrs. I didn't sleep well and am using all my energy to not have a complete meltdown. I hate being so sure in my head something is wrong yet my gut feels all good. Last time I had a gut feeling that something was wrong and apparently I was right. Anyway I'm off to shower and get us all dressed but no the girls aren't coming with me. I need to be able to talk uncensored, they don't know anything more then I miscarried and we are determined to keep it that way. They will be taking care of my bff, she's home from the hospital but can't do much thanks to her c-section so they will be helping her while her dh is at work. I feel bad for them, he has such limited time off he could only take 3 full days off and will be working half days for the next week. Makes me grateful for the position we are in, dh will be taking 2 full weeks off when/if our baby is born and if he does need to check in he has a company laptop so he can work from home. Anyway my girls will be helping while I go to my appt and then I'll pick her mother up from the airport on my way home. Fear not though, I'll be posting here as soon as I'm done texting dh

Congrats cheeky!! How exciting!!!
I am so afraid to completely start the diet because I don't want to gain weight. I am still trying lose weight...Is it possible to lose weight on the boy diet. I read losing weight sways pink...ahh what a mess. I just feel like i will be uncomfortable pregnant, who know, but then everyone also tells me being a little heavy helps get a boy.
here is DD and I at a b-day party last weekend http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y98/Tinkerb3ll18/62611155.jpg ...I carry most of my weight in my gut and i am Only 5'2 so I just really wanted to get a little more weight off before our attempt. I was so much smaller when I got pregnant with DD that I am afraid It will be really hard this time around with a toddler, and the fact i fell while pregnant and have 2 slipped discs and my hip is blown out. I'm trying to really prepare my body! anyway...hope everyone is having a good day!

Hey hey blue crew!
Happy birthdays to your ladies Iluv! Your FIL sounds like a rotten apple. Boo to that. But yay to maybe, just maybe, feeling a little pg ... will you test or wait for AF?
Was hoping to see the update already Jen but will not-so-patiently wait until AFTER you've had your appointment :-) Since you can't very well update us before then. Super sweet of your girls to be helping out your BFF! I bet that baby is very well taken care of today.
5 am dying to see you POAS again; AF not showing and all those symptoms?!?! Aaaagrh, it's just too much!
Lola and Jen I think it is interesting that your guts were telling you something last time. I really do believe we have good intuition about these types of things. And Jen I am glad that your gut tells you all is well ... hopefully your head can get there soon.
Tink you're trying in October, right? I think when possible longer is better on the diet so I would say start it in August. You look fab in the photo! I know you said you carry weight in your middle... you know weight in the middle is a sign of higher T ... good for TTC boys.
Leaving early tomorrow for a long weekend with some girlfriends. Will have to fess up on the pg but ah well. It's a group that I'm quite close with so it'll be fine. And they don't live in my area (we all live in different states and meet up 1x a year) so it's not like the beans will be spilled to anyone and everyone in my area thru the gossip train. Looking forward to sleeping in for 2 mornings

Tink, trust me, I know what you mean about the weight thing. Read the sticky under ttc blue called diet suggestions part 1....there is a boy diet for heavier swayers, which is what I am trying to do now, where you don't gain as much but it requires that you lift weights a lot to burn calories and keep your metabolism going. I think my problem in the weight gaining arena was 3 fold: I started eating a LOT more, which my body wasn't used to, I stopped working out for the most part, and I stopped taking an ADHD med that makes me not have a huge appetite that I've been on for a few years (it is notorious for making you gain weight when you stop it). Just do the best you can to eat little bits of nutritious stuff all day and let's KFX that you get a bfp sooner than I freakin' did!!!

Thanks ladies for the positive support! I am just a little nervous this go round with the slipped discs. My labor ws so hard with DD, I also did all natural. I am getting a lot of people telling me with my injuries I should just do the Epi so I dont have to suffer. That is not what this is about for me. I am trying to strengthen my back as much as possible so I can have another non medicated birth again and enjoy my pregnancy. Hopefully not fall this time! I didnt get to lose a lot of my pregnancy wight as I was in physical therapy before and after i had DD and was not allowed to work out. Being a tiny little italian girl, i am not blessed with just being thin I have to work at it. i have always been fit but just have kept myself that way. Putting on baby weight and then not being able to doing anything about it has been hard. BUt like B said if having weight about the MID section help get me a boy! Hell i be fat! lol!!! Hay ladies, I had a great appointment! I wasn't there 5 minutes before my midwife almost drug me down the hall to the u/s room! She quickly found the baby and the heartbeat, I started to cry. We went back to the room and talked a bunch more. She assured me my detachment is completely normal and I shouldn't be surprised if it continues for 4+ weeks past my m/c point. She also said we will do u/s as often as I need in fact I have an appt in 2 wks and then will come back again at 13 weeks! I didn't get a pic but I was able to record the heartbeat on my phone, which she found slightly to the RIGHT side. I'm feeling a little better after seeing my bean but I'm feeling a lot better knowing they will support me in being a complete wreck for a while.

I consider myself sooo lucky as I have only been gainging for 10 weeks or so and got a OHW. Not sure how long it took you to get preggo with your daughter but if your usaully fertile and want a good sway you had better start eating...LOL I found it sooo hard to eat enough to gain so always topped up with 1/2 bag of the family sized crisps at night.....seems to have worked a treat LOL Good luck and just think a baby is forever you can always work at the weight later :)

10dpo today. My chart is totally jacked up do to waking issues from DS and I don't know how to show it to anyone for advice. but my temps r going way down and apparently I read online that getting prego w/ you thyroid messed up can cause slow metal development in you baby, increased m/c, premature delivery....you'd think my Dr. would've actually given me that info. My OB (over email) said I shouldn't but he should have gave me that info instead. I told my GP during original thyroid tests that I was ttc and again she said nothing about not ttc. WTheck??? I hope I don't get a bfp this month and will have to put this off till my thyroid is in check. That's why I'm just so bummed. Seems like everything points to me not supposed to get pregnant again. IDK, really struggling with this. DS2 died for crying out loud, maybe I'm just not supposed to have more kids at all. I'm really going to have to pray about this.

Iluv where did you read all of that? Do you trust your docs? You can find a myriad of info online you know and not all of it is accurate; I know you know that but sometimes a reminder is helpful. But really, if you don't trust your docs can you call another office for a second opinion perhaps? How long will the meds take to straighten things out such that your thyroid won't be considered "messed up?"
I'm sorry you're so bummed but it is completely understandable :hugs:

Try not to be discouraged about TTC and being on thyroid meds. I know it's easier said than done though. Surely they can test more often than every 2 months?? Especially when you are TTC. The meds should take effect a lot sooner than a that anyway.
Thanks I did ask her during the initial appt and she told me know that it wouldn't do any good to test earlier. I read 6-8 weeks online but that was the earliest. They still have to find the right dosage is the problem. This might be the right dosage but I won't know till the end of August.

I'm sorry, I said that wrong. You can have children fine on thyroid meds w/ your levels corrected. The problem is ttc while my thyroid levels are not correct. I just started meds and pushed for .50 instead of the .25 they normally start you out with so they would have both up and down to go and not just up. They give it to you in .25 increments with blood tests every 2 months until they get the right dosage, then follow-up every 6 months after that. Seems most people I talk to are between the .25 & .50 so I'm crying about the worst case scenario, I just feel like I keep getting bad news. I'm just being weak right now but I also have to consider maybe we should take this as a no.

I can't imagine your stress. GL to you and I can't wait to hear some great news!

Atomic did give some suggestions in one of the diet sticky's about ways to cut the fat and lifting weights to develop muscle instead and up the testosterone. I think you look great! DD looks so much like her Daddy.

I'll probably test CD12 and call it if no BFP. I guess then I'll have to wait until August (O due again at the tail end of July) and I'll just go for infertility August/September if thyroid checks out at end of Aug., if we decide to still ttc. IDK at all right now, I just need to throw a fit for a couple more days and then move on in one direction or another. We'll see.

Hell i be fat! lol!!! Cant wait for my sway!!!
I would think yoga might help you gain strength w/o too much impact.
I'm so going to call your bride friend and let her know your said that, Tink. LOL :)

Dr.'s for the most part here, just don't invest much in you or care too much, you know. Sounds like 3PNB and Lola seemed to have great midwives. My friend a couple towns over has a fantastic Dr. but he's too far away and I like the HMO I have for money reasons. They mentioned recently over email I should wait but never said why. Seems like what I found online is correct but the Dr's s/h explained the why and the risks. I would never purposely put my children unborn or otherwise in danger of anything, obviously. I find better info online and on forums then Dr.'s know. They can't possibly continue to study every disease out there as they are just human and most of them quite frankly are cocky and ignorant when it comes to a lot of issues and hardly consider much outside of their box. This is one reason I went w/ the homebirth (a bit of egg on my face w/ that though). Alternative options are amazing for a lot of things, not everything but at least they consider things other than giving drugs.
I really should get off line right now, I'm in a funk.
Sorry, I tried to clear up what I said after you sent this post. The problem is while your thyroid is off that ttc and nursing can be a problem, not when medicated and levels are in w/in normal range. The Dr. said I can't test my levels again until a full 2 months of being on the thyroid meds to determine if they need to change your levels or not. She said any sooner I could test, but she wouldn't be able to determine anything from the tests. My cycle appears to be back to normal so that's a great sign.
IDK, B. I should stop complaining, I just feel like such crap right now and I know things can get worse and I should count my blessings, but now I am in a quandary about ttc. This is not what I thought ttc would be like at all and I've never had health issues before.

Lola you are great I have not yet disagreed with anything you have said on this forum. I actually meant to say I agree with both your and iluv's comments just wanted to clarify that the woman was not ungrateful for her kids because few other comments were how dare she be ungrateful. Totally agree with you about getting frustrated over getting pregnant and difficulties whether real or possible over it. :HH:
I only posted that because I am discovering that swaying is getting a lot of media coverage lately. Now I wish I had not I definitely did not mean to upset anyone.

I am so sorry iluv I almost felt guilty showing off that I don't have thyroid issues. It is bad how dr usually tell you stuff only when you ask them otherwise their attitude seems to be just do as I say and you won't need to worry. But usually you do and i always check everything they mention first and then ask them about it. I found that works best get them to do some work for their money. Please don't feel discouraged from ttc just because I was before. If you want to have another baby then you should do your best and try. If it does not work out then maybe thank your stars for what you have and move on, but don't move on without trying first. You have obviously been through the absolute worst. I can't even imagine how you would have felt. I lost my dad when I was young, but loosing a child would be the absolute worst. How cruel can this world be. But if you got through that you can get through anything. Another favourite saying of mine is: Success is not measured by the postition a person is in, it is measured by the obsticles a person has had to overcome to get to where they are. GL you have been trough worse you can get through this.:HH:

Just found out that one of my relatives who is a vegetarian is having a boy. Her first child is a girl. I felt a weird tinge of jealousy and thought: great here I am stuffing myself with meat and she does nothing different and gets a boy. Isn't that terrible? I do feel guilty about it. I am trying to work out what she has done differently from before she felt pregnant with DD. I know she eats a lot of nuts tons of them, she does eat fish and eggs and dairy too, but i am pretty sure she was eating all those things before DD too. The only thing that I can think of is that she used to exercise a lot before DD. She was thin and mascular. After DD she stopped exercising as much (I think she still did yoga) and put on quite a bit of weight. Not good news as that was my least favourite part of ttc boy diet, but oh well we must learn and accept the good with the bad.

Well, feel free to disagree with me anytime, but glad I did not offend or read it wrong! LOL And yes, you are right about swaying getting media coverage....I personally don't talk about it with anyone but DH, because I feel like it opens the door for commentary that I don't need to listen to right now, even if from my well-intentioned friends. I did learn my lesson there.....about 3 months into swaying, and after a few unsuccessful tries, I was emailing with a friend who has BG and asked her if she did any specific timing like Shettles for either, and she was like, WHAT? And then gave me a bit of a derogatory "it's all in God's hands" and then proceeded to tell me she just got lucky. To be honest, I haven't talked to her since. It just pissed me off. That's when I decided I wouldn't mention swaying to anyone outside of the forums.

Iluv, I could not have said everything I want to say to you better than what Layla wrote here. Do not fear a little break....sometimes it is the best thing for you. A wise veteran swayer from IG told me that once. It gets your head right, your body right, and your sway better. You know, I personally didn't want to take 3 whole months off from ttc after the m/c. I thought one should do it, but I decided to listen to the doctors and also decided to use these 3 months to really amp up my attitude and my body for swaying, and now I'm on the verge of trying again and I feel really good about it. I hope you can find this same peace with a break if that is what you need to do.
And please do not EVER blame yourself or your body for your son's death. I know you have probably heard this a million times, but there is absolutely no good in blaming yourself or feeling guilty. It was just one of those shitty ass shit things that happens to people. I've had a world-rocking thing happen also, and you just have to let it go into a realm of "it just was" and be thankful to the universe/God for the strength given to you to overcome and move forward, the lessons about life you were given from that experience. I know that is hokey, but I know how badly you are feeling with it all, and I just want to offer you massive hugs. xxoo

That IS interesting.....especially since I am wanting to become a vegetarian now. I think I have over-meated myself in the past year. You know, I bet the little bit of weight is what changed.....maybe it is that the male coneptions are favored because there is some fat there to live off should a famine occur. I hope so at least! And yes, it is BY AND LARGE not my favorite thing either, the weight gaining part, but I do consider it to be temporary like ELP said, and also am using a bit of denial thanks to the excellent advice of 3PNB!

Well I'm still waiting to O. I'm on cd9 today. CP was low and firm last night and this am it was definitely softer. Still haven't figured out how to tell if it's open or closed yet. So I guess my body is gearing up to O soon :D
I am kinda bummed though. DH and I went grocery shopping yesterday and he is starting to complain of all the extra food/supps he has to buy for me. He said I sure hope you get pregnant this month! He has been supportive up until now. Which I think he still is because I know he really wants a son too. But his job is starting to cut out OT lately so we've both been stressing about money lately. I do understand that this swaying stuff costs money, but....idk. If no BFP this month, idk if I'll be able to keep up with the swaying anymore :( I can probably still keep up my salt intake but idk about my potassium intake. We do have a small vegetable garden I guess I can just eat all of our tomatoes lol!! But, probably won't buy anymore supps for either of us.
Any of you on a budget with your swaying? I guess we really do buy a lot extra: V8, orange juice, lemon juice, and bananas every single week. :( Praying for my BFP this month!!
Hope you all are doing well!

I think all female cycles are an absolute mistery full stop. I have been using those opk things and yesterday the test line was visible but not darker than the control line. So I was thinking Good looks like I might O soon. Today the test line is completely gone again. No sign of it whatsoever. I think I am just going to forget about timing and just bd every 2nd-3rd day. Atomic appears to recommend this strategy. DD2 Was conceived on O day. How quickly is my sway dwindleing down to nothing and I have not even attempted yet...

Lola - I haven't put up my sway with DC4 on my blog yet, but that is a good idea. I will make a note to do a post on that :) I did do a post last weekend on all of my babies and what I thought influenced each one's gender from a swayer's perspective - http://blog.getting-pregnant.com/my-baby-history/
Begonia - I am doing well, just having a hard time sitting down the forums with balancing life. It seems like anytime I get a spare minute, Honor is fussing. I love her to death but she is one fussy baby. Part of me thinks it's probably my fault for all the stress and emotion of GD during pregnancy :( But she really is so wonderful - just a high maintenance girl!
3PNB - your friend's baby is sweet!! Try not to feel too guilty about the detached feeling - I had that through a lot of my pregnancy with Honor. I felt so bad about it, but I love her to pieces now. It is just part of you protecting yourself. Remind yourself that you love your little bub :) Sooo glad you had a great appt!! FX for that bean being on the left side ;)
Ttcboy2011 - welcome to the group!
Cemas - I agree with Lola, I would stop the BSD after your attempt, but continue with the weights. It's good to stick with the physical activity throughout your pregnancy, or keep building up for another attempt :D
Layla - glad the blood tests all came back normal! Best of luck with your attempt... hope O comes for you soon.
Tink - I think what helped me the most with the boy diet was just eating lots of meals and snacks and totally avoiding even looking at sweets :p Being on the diet for a few months is really good.
Cheeky - CONGRATS!!!!
TTC5 - (((hugs))), hopefully your cycle decides to let you know what is going on soon! Is it still just brown or did you have full-on AF starting???
iluv - (((hugs))) to you too sweetie
Alexis - I hope that you'll get your BFP soon too. Remember that the extras are nourishing you and helping make you healthier for pregnancy - that's one of the ways I think about it with the diet and supps.
Meeeeee - haha not much to say about myself girls... Just trying to keep up with my home and family and a very fussy baby! She really is a little grump! But I love her to pieces. When she's sweet she's so very sweet. And after five babies I now realize how quickly the fussy baby period goes and I need to enjoy her being a baby while I can! I've still been keeping up with my little blog and have gone into a little more detail there :) http://blog.getting-pregnant.com
I have got to try and keep up better!!

I think I am going to have some time off... I am feeling AWFUL.. I am SO FAT and UGLY at least this is how I feel :(
I weighed today and a 74.6 :O
I used to weigh 60kilos at the very most!!
I want to take some time out to focus of myself and my family than obsessing over "swaying"... would like to drop a few kilos to put me at least under the 70 kilo mark.
I'm going to get a new plan in action with possibly LESS supps this time! And I don't think I will bother will charting next time, it goes to show my last cycle it is pointless and just stresses me out!

Oh 5:( I was popping in for some big announcements from evereyone not to hear you were out:( I know whtat you mean about the weight getting you down, I had to take a break for a few months just to stabilise the weight gain, and I did make me feel alot more positive!

TTC5 I think taking a break can be a good idea if you're feeling overwhelmed and frustrated. I know how you feel on the body image issues - I am having a hard time myself right now, even though I know mine is "baby weight" and it hasn't been all that long since I had a baby! It's always frustrating to think you don't look your best and weigh what you ought to. Hopefully taking some time to reflect and have a break and re-evaluate your plan will be helpful :)

TTC5, I totally agree with Skrimpy....a break is a very good thing sometimes. And as I've complained about many times here, I have gained 35lbs in this last year of swaying and ttc, and it is very hard for me to deal with. Mostly that none of my clothes fit and I just feel very unsexy and not myself, but I am over my little break myself now and feeling MUCH better. I am so sorry you didn't have luck these past two months....but PLEASE don't give up, just have a breather month and I promise you will feel better!
Skrimpy, does your little buggar have reflux? That was the problem with my 2nd.....she would fuss for a good hour after nursing, and I did EVERYTHING I could to make my diet not the culprit. I felt like I could barely eat anything although I did eat plenty. We had to try Zantac and then Prevacid, which was much better. I hated giving my baby meds like that, I am pretty anti-med, but this helped her so much. I know she was in pain. I don't know if any of your other bubs had that, but just thought I'd share my experience. I was just beside myself for the first couple of months because I couldn't figure out what was wrong with her, and my first was just as easy as the breeze. I LOVVVVE your blog, by the way!!!!
Alexis, we are on a pretty tight budget ourselves, and I do know what you (and your DH) means about the cost. We've been spending a ton on supps and vitamins for a year! Actually, what I've done is rearranged our budget a bit. And I am in charge of the money in our household, so that makes it a bit easier for me there, but nonetheless....maybe you can tell your DH that you are willing to forgo this expense each month or something like that in order to have some extra vitamins. And Skrimpy is right about them being good for you anyway, good for making a healthy baby, so you can totally argue that point. As far as food goes, I don't think you need to go broke buying all the drinks and stuff.....it just takes some REARRANGING with the grocery budget, ya know what I mean? We don't buy any cookies or junk food anymore, and make popsicles out of good juice for the kids to have treats. I guess my best advice is to try to whittle what you need down as much as possible. Some of us just can't afford to buy a lot extra, but there are ways to get extra veggies and stuff, just like your garden, which is awesome! I go to the farmer's market on Saturdays and get lots of good organic veggies pretty cheap. Also maybe just talk to your DH and let him know how important this is to you to try for the boy, plus you want to be super healthy for a baby either way. HTH!
Iluv, excited to hear what is up with you!!!!!!! I hope you are doing ok....I know you are going through a rough time with everything. ((((((hug))))))
As for me, just waiting for AF. I took a FRER yesterday just to be sure, and it was negative, thank goodness. Would have been a big oops month again with a 5 day cut off. Anyway, getting excited to try again, especially with this Clomid boost. I got a bunch of vegetarian cookbooks today, and am planning my ascent into veggie land. I hope I get pg this first try because I am ready to not eat meat anymore. I don't want to change it up NOW of all times right before I ttc, but am really feeling a pull to try this lifestyle out. DH is all about it too, so we are going to try to change the whole family over. My kids will love it, they hate meat.

OK, I have good and bad news at 12dpo. I took a earlyprenancytest.com hpt this morning and there was such a faint 2nd line I thought my mind might be playing tricks on me so ran out and got a FRER. The 2nd line is still light but there. Soooo, BFP for me. I know everyone will congratulate me but I'm scared to death right now. If my thyroid levels are still off (pray they are not) I can m/c or my baby's brain development could be effected and other birth defects and issues. I've emailed my OBGYN & GP to let them know. I'm not scheduled to take another thyroid test until mid-end of August but the damage is done during the 1st trimester so I'm really scared. I wanted this to be a happy occasion, now I'm just scared.
the fun part is we found out on DD2s 7th b-day!
BTW- my symptoms during the 2WW have been some nausea when I hadn't recently eaten but not for like a 7 dpo (I'd have to look at FF to give an exact day), very bloated/somewhat gassy up until dpo11 then it went a way a bit, cervix has been high since O, had creamy CM at 11dpo. CM & CP aren't reliable ways to confirm BFP but I thought I'd let you know. Had what I guess is a implantation dip at 10dpo.
If this hpt is wrong then I take it all back. :) I will update you guys a little on my sway too but I need to get ready for DD2's b-day party.

Cheeky- love your baby is forever theory on the weight gain. If this baby is a boy I will carry my fat with joy lol if it's a girl I know I did my best.
B- yeah my appt was great, not sure if I'll get a nub shot because it's mostly just a "see, still ok" kind of an u/s, we'll see though :)
Iluv- I'm so sorry this is so tough for you, don't give up. It'll be a bit of a journey but you'll get it straightened out. Congrats on the bfp and fx for a healthy little bean :hugs:
Layla- sounds like your veg relative has a high fat/protein/nutrient diet, exactly what's recommended here. Don't be bitter you'll get yours :)
Ttc5- time off can be good and I'm all for less sups and less charting. Temping nearly drove me crazy.
Lola- dd3 had sever reflux, so severe that my pedi (who I'd been telling for weeks something was wrong) sent us to the children hospital with failure to thrive. She was 8 wks old and had only gained 14oz, needless to say meds were prescribed and I got a new pedi. Anyway reflux sucks!
Nausea has completely lifted but the aversions continue, thank god for the u/s or I'd be freaking out. I still can't stand to eat meat unless it's really messed with i.e. chicken nuggets, or covered in a sauce. Basically the farther from it's natural flavor the better lol dh isn't thrilled but we are going to try to work with that to get me back to as close to paleo as possible.
Anyway tomorrow is my spoiled nieces birthday party, I have no doubt that we will full on be asked if I'm pregnant. We are working on a vague, mind your own business kind of answer in case they attack us separately. If they push I'll have to get slightly ugly, I really wish they would just take a damn hint.

Skrimpy - thank you. I have been reading your blog. Great information you have on there. I am sorry about your GD, sounds like all is better right now your DD1 must be over the moon to finally have a sister. I am sorry to ask you and if you feel uncomfortable talking about it then you don't have to answer, but it sounds to me like you did try to sway blue but you got pink. You say something about avoiding grains on your blog as the reason. I am avoiding carbs. I do eat bread maybe once a day and have cereal in the morning. Iluv - congratulations. I wish you a problem free pregnancy and a happy and healthy baby boy. Us women are so hard on ourselves, we immediatelly find the worst thing that could happen to us, then research it and find (or more like imagine) things that support our theory and then become convinced that it will happen to us. I have been told many times that I need to reverse this type of thinking, you know replace the negative thought with positive, but it is damn hard to do yourself and so much easier to advise someone else to do. Distraction works best for me until I hear good news. Reading a good book, watching a good movie, playing with the kids, crosswords... anything... before you know it, it will be time for your test results... and they will be good news for sure...

3Pink I cannot beleive how sensless people can be with their are you pregnant questions. This woman once asked me at work in the middle of open plan office when I was not ready to tell my boss and after she was well aware that I had already had a m/c. What is wrong with people? Mind your own business!!! The way I handled it was: "OMG are you saying I am fat! That is so not nice and here I am trying to exercise only to be told I am fat in the middle of an open plan office!!!". That way she understood that she is asking an inappropriate question in an inappropriate place, the rest of them heard and nobody said anything about it again to me anyway.

TTC5 great dream! I think a break might be good. I think if u feel better about yourself you will feel better about your ttc and are less stressed and thus more likely to conceive. I know stress sways blue but too much stress and focus on ttc often leads to not getting pregnant I think and you need to be pregnant to get a boy.
Lola go for the veggie diet. I have also decided to eat a lot more nuts and eggs despite their magnesium content after I heard about my relative having a boy. It is deffinitely different to what I ate when my girls were conceived, so it might work.

DD2 had reflux too. She would cry and vomit all the time. These things helped: Tilt her cot by putting some phone books where her head is; if she is breastfed try and hold her a bit upright when feeding; burp her often; hold her upright over your shoulder or in a baby carrier a lot; if she falls asleep put her down but otherwise just hold her. Mine got over it at about 7-8mths. I tried meds but I did not think they helped so I stopped. GL

My OB is having me come in for a blood pregnancy test and a thyroid (although this might not show anything since it hasn't been 6-8 weeks but we'll see) and then he'll schedule an u/s. I haven't heard back from my GP yet but did let her know about my + hpt over email. I took another FRER hpt and it was still positive, plus I feel pregnant. Yes the internet is good and bad. :) However, it is a real possibility and after DS2, I am not cocky anymore about nothing will happen, you know. I don't tend to buy too much into the positive thinking, I heard that w/ DS2 and...well you know. I do know it is what it is, and am balancing OK now, but it is a real possibility that something could go wrong. Hopefully it won't. The fact is that there are just some things we can't control and I have to deal with that. I'm not innocent anymore and it makes this stuff a lot more real. Hi to everyone!!! Sorry for everyone I missed but after being off for 3 days it is hard to catch up! I'll get back into the swing of it :-)
He's a bit standoffish and we haven't talked about it too much. The lines were light the other day so he wanted to see another one. I left another positive 1 on his desk this morning so we'll see. He's been pretty cranky for several days now so at this point I'm not sure. I think we are both just scared. This will be an interesting pregnancy to say the least. Like I said and I'm sure lots of ladies understand on here, that we are just not innocent anymore about the things that can happen. We can't just get pregnant now and assume that everything will be OK. We are pretty balanced though and we'll get through it, it will just be different.

OH MY!!! CONGRATS, Iluv!!!!!! :celebrate: I know you are freaked out, but just let your doctors direct you on the right course with meds and whatnot, and just trust that all will be ok. I am so happy for you!!!!!
Cheeky, you are due on my DD2's birthday, which is awesome! Today is incidently my oldest's 9th birthday....kinda makes me sad that she getting so big.
3pnb, I like the idea of coming up with a good "mind your biznass" comment. Hope it goes smoothly, and sorry you are stressed about that crap.
So, blue swayers are dropping off the swaying list like flies now. Let's keep it rolling! Who is attempting this month? I am CD2 today, popping me some Clomid tomorrow morning after an FSH level check. Woot woot. Turns out that not only will my mother be with us when I am O'ing, but we will also have to be at MY FREAKING GRANDMOTHER'S HOUSE as she wants us to drive to see her while my mom is here, and they already planned on those days. I mean, COME ON. :hair:
Not seeming to catch a break, huh Lola. :) Thanks for the congrats and a bunch of blue swayers are getting their bfp's so hopefully everyone else can follow right along. :)

Lola that is BRUTAL! I mean, almost a comedy of errors right?!? You take 3 months off and the 1st month you can try again you'll be at your grandmother's house with your mom. Sheesh! How will you work around it? Take off in the car for a quick "errand" and ... you know ;-) Regardless I am super excited you're getting close to attempt again. FX the Clomid along with all your fab supps make an uber healthy egg for you this month!
Iluv, glad your OB is going to get you in for the tests. Ideally they will give you lots of u/s too. But having been thru what you've been thru, I imagine the actual birthday will be the only time you can truly start to breathe a little easier. Loss of innocence flat-out sucks.
Thought for sure I was going to throw up in Target this am but grabbed some of DD's icee and popcorn and managed to keep it down. This does not bode well for me... I'm 7 weeks today and this is how I felt with DD1 at around the same time, and I was pretty sick with her til 15 weeks. I'm not at all worried about it being a sign of another DD as opposed to DS since I wasn't at all sick with DD2, I'm just not wanting to be sick for 8 weeks.
OH, and one of my besties (she was my maid of honor) got engaged this weekend, and is getting married 3 weeks after I am due with DC3. And she's a 3 hour plane ride from me ... it's going to be tricky but I can't miss her wedding, I just can't!!! Nor am I about to fly with a newborn. I'm worried about how breastfeeding will go since I'll have to be gone for 3 days, and babe will have to be on a bottle, but I'm sure it will all work out somehow.
Anyhow today I really wish we had waited to TTC. I'm very cranky today (mostly because of the sick feeling, and no doubt also for the hormones) and it'll pass but right now I'm just kicking myself for not waiting til fall like we originally planned.

I totally just heard that popcorn and icee's were the best thing to eat for pregnancy nausea! :) I'm telling you, acupuncture and continually eat small meals. Don't let more than 2 hrs go by w/o eating something, even saltines. Nausea blows! I had 1 dr. that prescribed nausea meds to every pregnant person but that's the only 1 who ever did that.
You might decide to travel w/ the newborn anyway, I get soooo crazy not able to leave my little ones. I even pretended 1 pregnancy that I would be able to put my newborn in daycare if I needed to, to go back to work. DH ended up being a stay-at-home Dad when DD2 was 7 months old instead. :)
I think your friend s/h asked you if it was OK to get married instead. LOL!

I know, right?!?! I thought we were FRIENDS. Sheesh  I think I could leave a newbie with DH for the weekend ... we'd probably have my Mom come in to help with the bigs. But yes, it could totally happen that I'd just have to take baby with me. At least then it would be obvious why I'm all fat
My doc with DD1 gave me zofran for the nausea and it didn't do a darned thing for me. I'm going to ask for it again at my 8 week appointment though and give it a shot. I also tried those sea bands with her and had no luck. I had another bad moment a bit ago and ate a bit of fruit and it seemed to help, so for now I'm going to keep trying like you said, to eat every couple of hours.
And I think popcorn and icees are the key to successful target shopping! It's like a $2 surcharge on every trip but it totally keeps my girls snacking in the cart instead of running around like banshees

I totally bribe my kids too. Does it help w/ less...."can I have that", "Can I have that for my b-day" "I waaant thaaaat". I honestly try to avoid shopping w/ the kids. Lovely, DD2 has really ruined me to taking kids shopping. I always felt guilty when they were in the cart too long too, so I get myself into these problems. You'd think I was Catholic or Jewish with the weird guilt I feel w/ my kids, especially when they are little. Hence I guess why my 4 1/2 year old still comes to my bed a lot of nights. :)
Happy b-day to your DD. My girls just turned 16 & 7 this past week and weekend. Crazy, crazy!
I like the reason for why I'm fat. It's like you want to wear something that says "I'm not fat, I just had a baby." or ask your friend is there anyway during your vows to each other that you could mention to the congregation that you just had a baby so no one would question. LOL! A good friend would totally do that. :)

Yes, Iluv, a good friend WOULD do that! I'm going to have her just put an insert in the program ;-) Of me in a bikini, pre-childbirth, so it can REALLY do the trick!
My girls are actually pretty good about the not-asking-for-stuff thing ... I have a list in my phone and whenever they ask for something I always tell them they can have it ... for their birthday :-) And then I put it on the list. So far it works but I don't expect that to last forever!
Can't believe you have a 16 year old ... that age scares me! Is she driving?

Hi ladies. I have to quickly update and ask you a questin, before my girls wake up and the crazy morning before school routine starts so sorry for ignoring your comments. I tested with opk and my saliva tester this morning/ The opk seems to show that the control line is only slightly darker than the test line. My salaiva microscope does not have any ferns just thick bubles. My CM was sticky then day before yesterday egg white and now this morning it is watery. So I am thinking I am getting close to O but not yet time to attempt. Maybe tomorrow morning for a 1st attempt after I test again (probably at 4am to make sure evryone is asleep? I have a house full of guests btw. I had to accommodate a single mum with 3 girls this week.
Still not 100% sure I should attempt. 6 weeks on diet but are noticing a LOT of CM. I have never had that much in my whole life seriously. Also 7 days after full moon. And under a lot of stress this month about returning to work as well as unexpected guests. If I wait till Sept I may O on actual full moon day but who knows as have had crazy cycles lately. I will also be on a diet longer if I manage to keep up to it at work. I will be even more stressed if I go back to work but maybe too stressed to focus on diet or to even get pg. If I don't go back I may be too relaxed and too bored. What do you think? I do feel like I have been postpoing attempt for ages now as I was trying to wean DD2...

Thank you begonia for replying!!! I have been testing in the am actually. Should I test again this arvo?
I think I may worry a little about the strenght of my sway to be honest. However I know that I will be so happy to be at work pregnant and therefore with oh who cares I am going on mat leave again soon, that this may overcome my sway worries. On the other hand if I don't attempt and it does not work as planned in 3 months time I will be really unhappy to have waited so long and it may end up being a 6 month wait or longer and then I am sure i will give up swaying alltogether. I am strongly thinking to give it a shot and see what happens.

I think based on the fact that you think it might take you awhile, I would go ahead and try now. You've been good for 6 weeks and you're right ... the longer you do it, the harder it is to stay on the diet/supps as well as you do when you're first starting out.
I would definitely test again this afternoon or evening. The recommended times for OPK's are 2pm and 6pm because your LH peaks during the day. If you catch it in the morning the odds are that your surge started the day prior, and you're catching the downswing rather than the true peak.

That is a perfect idea and I think your friend will totally go for that, it's not "her" day anyway. GL! :)
My DS1 used to ask for stuff all the time then and we said maybe for your birthday. So, now he says it just as much but asks for it for his b-day. He's my only child who does that though.
She has her permit but she doesn't want to drive w/ DH so he told her she didn't get to drive unless she's driven w/ him 1st. So, she hasn't driven since and it's been weeks & weeks. Guess her license isn't that important to her. She's a good teenager as far as her choices but still, the teenage years are pretty tough.

Layla, ITA with this advice! And you don't want to be on this diet for any longer than you have to. 6 weeks is perfect, 6 months is not cool. Keep testing, sounds indeed like you will O soon. GL!

I have the fertilefocus and haven't been very happy w/ it at all. I think you have to test our saliva several times a day w/ it to catch it being accurate. I would go off of opk's w/ a digital confirmation and cm before the saliva. I didn't get full ferrning this month at the times I tested and barley any ferrning at all. Not sure if you've tried it for a couple of cycles or not. A lot of ladies take opk's several times a day. I took them generally around 11 a.m. and again in the evening. Don't use FMU for your OPK's, only FMU for hpt's. Watery CM is fertile CM so if you aren't O now you s/b soon. Test at least 2x's a day I would say. what CD are you on?
I think past the 1st attempt I've totally questioned my sway, in fact, not sure how much of a "sway" I've managed at all at this point. I put sooo much into the 1st attempt that i got disappointed and burnt out. I knew if it was going to take months (which it did for various reasons) I'd never be able to keep up w/ the sway. Timing for ttc is hard and timing is never "perfect". I realized today the boy clothes if I, if it's a boy, will be the wrong season. If you have been swaying for a good 6 weeks you s/b fine. What does DH think? Most of us don't buy too much into the moon but I think you are actually effected by it. My cycle wasn't at the full moon, but I did see decent solar flares around time of conception so who knows.

OMG, I am going to lose it when mine are teenagers. The freshly 9-yo one in already super sassy when she wants to be. I'm sure you gals all have at least one with the mouth!
Yea, I'm not sure what we are going to exactly do about the sex thing. Getting pregnant at my grandma's house gives me the heebie-jeebies. And I am sure her bed frames are not exactly new either, so....you know what I mean. We are going to dtd every other day from CD10-18 or so, after I am sure I O'ed. I may even say we have to do a day trip, I just can't handle too much of this insanity. This is HANDS DOWN the best month for me to get pg with my job....which is why I was ttc first month in August of last year! I think I will be O'ing right around the 30th or so.
Iluv, I know what you mean about not being innocent anymore.....I just hope you can get an u/s soon and some sense of peace will seep in! Hugs, hunni.....
Begonia, ugh, what is with the weddings right around baby time? I swear. I had to be a bridesmaid when I was 6 months pg with DD2, as well as the MOH when she was 4 months old (and I was still a cow and nursing, so no fun for me). Remember Dollydoodle from IG? She had her baby boy yesterday morning, and has her sister's wedding in a couple of weeks! They are doing great, though.

I'm sorry Lola, but that is just cracking me up. Squeaky ol' bed to boot. We rent the upstairs from my parents, so I'm always having sex w/ my parents around. My Dad sleeps in the room under us, so I know he hears stuff. It was horrible sneaking bs & ew's upstairs. I was always being ?'d about why I'm eating this or that too. I have to sneak around. They are all suspicious too since I went on a secret special diet when pregnant w/ DS2.
The u/s will be nice but it can also cause diminished mental capacity and they won't be able to tell that. That could happen anyway I suppose. From reading online, some people's TSH levels are like over 100 and mine was 9 so I'm better than some people who didn't even know they had thyroid issues till after 1st trimester. I am definitely blessed to know now, but still scary. I'm scared how I'll do when my hormones really kick in full w/ this pregnancy though. I struggled so much w/ them w/ DS2's pregnancy. Today I already am having bursts of uncontrolled frustration. I hope to take the blood test tomorrow and I sure hope it says something positive. It's a long shot, but hey!
At 35, my friends are all married, so that's a plus. :) I did go to a wedding last year pretty pregnant though but I wasn't in the wedding party.
I have very little tolerance for a sassy mouth so my 16 year old gets in quite a bit of trouble w/ it. None of my kids have been too sassy but they have their other issues. DD2, is just......oh wow! I used to be able to take the 16 year old anywhere and she was always a pleasure. I am so scared to see DD2 as a teenager. I'm glad she's such a daddy's girl, I think that will help her through. Only the 19 kids and counting lady seems to have wonderful un-sassy teenagers. I really need to read one of her books.

I got an almost +opk this afternoon!!!! My temp also dropped this am so O day should be tomorrow :D I am totally throwing timing out the window this time. I want to be pregnant!!!! I've been thinking DH's sperm count may actually be just fine now. He's lost over 50lbs since I had DD2, so maybe him being overweight was why he had a lower than normal sperm count (not abnormal but on the lower end of normal). Plus he's been on the supps for 4 or 5 months now.
Soooo....we're dtd everyday since last night. I want to be sure I catch the egg! Used preseed last night (decided for no baking soda). But today now I have wet cm, no ewcm, but at least it's not thick like lotion as it was last cycle. I did end up taking soy on days 3-7 at 120mg. I've had some O pains (no where near as strong as last cycle though) some pulling, pinching and cramping on both sides. Boobs have been a little painful under the armpits and nipples felt itchy.
Well, here's hoping for a quick 2WW and a BFP!!!

Wow, 3 days away and 2 BFP's! Congrats Kris! Here's to a great pregnancy for you! This is your 1st right? That alone will make it so fun ... everything will be new for you :-)
Iluv, BIG BIG BIG hugs dear, and BIG congrats too... a BFP is wonderful news though I totally understand your concerns. I found with the saliva testers, if they have bubbles you need to gently pop them with your finger or slide them off to the side and then let it dry. When i first got it i would never get ferns but once i started doing that i'd get massive perfect ferns :) just a suggestion.

Good luck Alexis! Sounds like everything is prefect so i like your chances :)

I agree, isn't that what implantation is, after they have gone through the tubes and implant into your uterus? I sure hope those sharp pains are just your uterus and nothing else. I've never had any pains like that but my friend and she was fine.
Yes the egg has to be attached to our uterus to make the hcg hormone so i dunno why it says this? I don't know why i'm having pain, i don't think the Dr would care either right, like there is nothing they can do about it?

I think based on the fact that you think it might take you awhile, I would go ahead and try now. You've been good for 6 weeks and you're right ... the longer you do it, the harder it is to stay on the diet/supps as well as you do when you're first starting out.
I would definitely test again this afternoon or evening. The recommended times for OPK's are 2pm and 6pm because your LH peaks during the day. If you catch it in the morning the odds are that your surge started the day prior, and you're catching the downswing rather than the true peak.
I think you might be right. Since this morning I have been feeling ovulation pai. Quite strong one actually. I will test at 2pm, but now I am worried that by the time DH get home and we put the kids to bed and we escape our guests (who said they are going to visit a relative tonight woohooo) I might be falling in the O+12 time. What do you think? We could always just try next month I suppose rather than wait till sept and I think I will be definitely extending my leave.

Tricky! If the opk is + I would go for it tonight though and not fret much about O+12, mostly b/c you didn't get a +opk earlier. Just monitor the CM/CP ... if your CP is still open and soft, odds are you aren't yet near o+12.
Iluv your girls sound like mine ... I will not be surprised if by and large DD1 makes good decisions and is 90% wonderful even as a teen. But DD2?!? Oh my. She's a daddy's girl too so I'll be passing her off to him when she hits 12, LOL! Oh and my friend is 34 ... been with the guy for 6 years so this wedding has been a looooong time coming. She's the last of my friends to get married and I'm just thrilled for her. We've been friends nearly 20 years so I've seen some of her Mr Wrongs and am glad she waited, because there is nothing like seeing your friend marry the right person
Alexis YAY! Good luck this month!
Kris, FX the sharp pains are nothing to worry about. Have you called your doc? They couldn't do anything, you're right, but they might ease your mind by telling you it is normal.
Lola I can't believe Dollydoodle had her baby! I remember when she found out it was a boy  Too fun! I'm really happy for her ... but man, bummer about the wedding timing! LOL about the creaky beds... I bet you and DH can figure something out  It's time to get back to business!

Thanks all we did ummm go for it last night. I tested again at 2pm and then 6pm and the test line was lighter to what it was in the morning. So I thought begonia's and the rest of your theory was correct. I felt the O pain all day and my CM seemed watery but then there was a couple of big globs of EWCM and my cervix did seem soft, so we thought let's give it a try, but I am still thinking maybe it was too late. We used pre-seed no baking soda but there was no need really as there was a lot of CM. I was so nervous it was weird. But I know we did the right thing to try, can't be on this diet forever either Alexis and I know I was not going to take any other supps to what I was taking. I will test with opk again at 2pm today and see what happens and if + we will try again in the morning otherwise that is it. Begonia, iluv, Lola and Kris thanks for your support I did read your comments but could not reply due to mad household condition yesterday. Is coconut water coconut juice? If so it makes a big difference if it is cold. I really like it actually. But I found it depends on the brand. They are usually imported from Thailand or indonesia here so I don't know what they are called, but there is one in a clear glass bottle that is disguisting, but another in a plastic white one that is delicious. Nuts contain a lot of potassium too, but also calcium and magnesium (nowhere near as much as potassium and sodium) so if you r not too hung up on the calcium theory then eat them as well. Cocnut water (as it is a nut) I am sure would also contain a bit of calc/magnesium.

I am definitely feeling dry today, so am hoping yesterday was a good try and not O+12. DD2 I am sure was conceived on O day as well unless it was O+12 too. Oh this is so complicated. To top it all of I was happy that it was 7 days after full moon rather than on new moon which is when I usually O, BUT after we finished I look out the window and it is raining!!!! UGRHHH. I really did not need more negative ions.
Kris I have used the saliva monitor before and when I said bubles I actually meant pebbles. It always worked for me in the past plenty of ferns were seen and that is what I used when DD2 was conceived. I was not aiming for a gender with her btw, just wanted to try as close as to O as possible to avoid the m/cs that I had before her.

Lola - I hadn't thought about reflux. I have tried diet changes but nothing seems to help. Reading about reflux I'm not sure - it seems so hard to tell. Did your doc test for anything specific? She seems to calm down upon being taken for a walk and if you hold her draped over your arm in a "football" carry - would a LO with reflux calm down for that? Also, she's fine in the mornings most days - it's just afternoon/evening fussies.
I've been going through a little bedtime routine with her the past few nights that seems to help her calm down - a feed, then a little bath, then swaddling and singing to her some before putting her in her swing next to me (she likes the swing). I am hoping the fussiness will end soon - it is really trying to have her inconsolable.
Glad you are liking the blog Lola. I think it's interesting to look back at our previous babies and see if/how they seem to line up with swaying lifestyles. Lol I should write up one of those silly online quizzes... "Do YOU lead a boy or girl lifestyle... find out now!"
I can't help but smile thinking that you are going to have to fit in a BD while your mother is here and you're off to visit your gram with her. Maybe the stress of all that will sway for you :p I agree with begonia - total comedy of errors!
Layla - We were not trying to sway at all when I got pg with Honor - in fact we were not trying to get pg!! We were avoiding and DD is either a 5 or 3 day cutoff... we BD'd 5 days before my O date. We were planning to TTC in May (when Honor was born, lol) and I was pretty much set to not sway but maybe eat more of a boy diet >.> DH really wanted Honor to be a girl so he was really happy though. THat helped my GD at times and made it harder at others. But he got her, fussies and all LOL.
We had cut out grains for DH, and also had started the fitness routine for him to try and help him lose weight. He had already lost 20lbs and I was losing the last of my baby weight from DC4.
I just did a post on my sway for Galen - http://blog.getting-pregnant.com/our-successful-sway/ Feel free to ask any questions, I am happy to share.
Thank you for sharing what helped with your LO's reflux. She definitely likes being upright in the baby carrier and she likes sleeping in her swing sort of upright. I can't wait for her to get big enough for my Ergobaby carrier... I will wear my bubs all day in that one!
I think it sounds like with a good 6 weeks of prepping for your sway and lots of CM that you are in a good position for an attempt now :) I am keeping FX for you!
Iluv - Congrats on the BFP! I am sending out prayers for a healthy little bean for you. All my babies have been "faint line" babies and I have had worries with each of them but they are all healthy! Happy Bday for DD2!
TTC5 - I hope you get a nice full moon O for a bfp like in your dream :)
3PNB - I had a big problem with food aversions early on too. What helped me get back closer to paleo was to eat really slowly, and put salty sauces with my meat (I made reduction sauces with broth, drippings, and salt). I just took as long as it took to get through my plate. Also sliced my meat up really tiny. After doing that for several days I started feeling a lot better but it was awhile before I could eat w/o aversion issues. I still also at grains now and then, and a baked potato a couple times a week.
Baby - breastfeeding does sway pink but I was nursing when all my boys were conceived. They were all older nurslings but still.
Kris - Congrats on your BFP!!
Alexis - I'm keeping my FX for you to get a BFP!!
Jane- I would stick with the V8 lol! I like coconut milk in soup - don't know if this is as good as the coconut water though.
Spicy - FX for you too girl!
Begonia - is it not okay to fly with a newborn? I know a drive would be brutal, but they're still so sleepy that maybe a flight would be OK and then you could just be away from your bub for the wedding? My cousin had a sitter at her wedding reception location for LO's - another cousin of ours had a newborn at the time and she was able to have her stay with the sitters during the wedding and then for part of the reception (she carried her around some too :p) Unless it's an Orthodox wedding the actual ceremony won't be long if you had someone there for your LO in another part of the building/area.
AFM - things are going pretty well. Honor has been a little better the past two evenings so I'm keeping FX it will continue. It's so nice to have her peaceful than to worry about how to calm her down from being so upset. I'm wondering if maybe the heat has something to do with it too. We have no central air it and has been really hot and incredibly humid. I'm thinking fall and winter babies have an advantage! It's supposed to be brutally hot tomorrow but hopefully I can keep her cool. Thankfully the rest of the week looks a little cooler.

Got ANOTHER +opk today. Is it normal to have 3 days of +opks? We have dtd 3 days in a row and tonight will make it 4!!!! Are we pushing it here? I'm thinking today is probably O day.
I have been researching and the chances of getting pregnant are this (according to OVWatch website):
5% for O day
26% for O-1
28% for O-2
13% for O-3
13% for O-4
So, according to this, I've already hit my best chances of conceiving! Should we even bother dtd tonight? lol Only a 5% chance of conceiving on O day?!!! I was VERY surprised by that!

Kris - Congrats on the BFP!!!
Lola - bummer on being at grandmas, sounds like it'll be some super sneaky quiet bding for you  Happy late Birthday to your dd!!
Iluv - the further I get into this pregnancy I'm clinging to the hope that life won't take a big shit on me twice in a row, I'm hoping this for you too
Cheeky - My 3rd pregnancy was a breeze, I tested like 5 or 6 times because I felt so good. I had only one food aversion (chocolate), I was able to work out throughout and basically felt great till about 37wks even though she was an Aug baby and it was a very hot summer. FX this one is just being super easy on you.
B- I'm a big fan of bribery too, whatever keeps the peace sometimes lol
Skrimpy - if it's only a few hours you may be dealing with the "witching hour". For no reason perfectly nice babies explode right round the same time each day, no fun and nothing you can do but figure out what calms her down. I knew a lady who had to stand in the bathroom with the shower running and bounce the baby in a certain way lol
I love the quiz idea, wish I knew I was swaying my ass off all those years lol
Thanks for the advice! I've been able to eat eggs again and lately breaded chicken, granted not paleo but meat going in is meat going in. At nearly 11 weeks I'm hoping my aversion days are coming to an end or at least fading for a few things.
Alexis, Layla, Jane FX!!!
We had a long weekend. Both my nieces were born on the 18th so we had 2 parties to go to. My older nieces birthday was painful as always since we can't stand sil family. They are incredibly mean to each other while pretending to be kidding. Not to mention sil thinks stuff is love so she buys my niece 10 outfits and a couple pairs of shoes and then her mom buys 80 things too. Opening presents takes forever! We also found out my loser/idiot bil and his gf are having another baby, this is not good news.
Second party was the next night, and I use the term party loosely. My bil and gf live with my inlaws and he hardly works. Since none of us helped with the party this year there was literally just a cake and some ice-cream and they gave her 2 gifts from the dollar store. Somehow I think you can drop more then $5 on your daughters 2nd birthday when he had gotten paid a few days ago. So sad. Anyway my other bil and I got in a brawl, well I asked him not to do something with my kids and he began yelling at me. I don't care how irrational he thinks my request is, they're MY kids and I won't be yelled at. I will admit I got a little nasty with him but when he says things like "I trust your judgment, I would expect you trust mine" I'm compelled to let him know that I don't. He doesn't believe that anyone needs to be in charge or make rules, you should just be your kids friends and let them do their thing. If your 2 y/o son want to climb the ladder to join you on roof go ahead and let him (yes this actually happened). If your 6 y/o accidentally puts on Dawn of the Dead in the middle of her birthday party, leave it on for 5 minutes while laughing (my oldest turned it off). They think Rocky Horror Picture Show and Dark Night are appropriate programing with a dozen kids running around. Hmm I wonder why I don't trust your judgement
Anyway good news is everyone was too wrapped up in unwanted baby drama and my hissy fit (yes that's right, I was the one who was wrong) to ask again if I'm pregnant and since we don't have to deal with them again for a month our secret is safe. The next time we'll see everyone is at dd3's birthday, I'll be 14 1/2 wks :fingers: so that's when the big announcement will be made.

Oh lord, 3pnb, good thing you survived that family encounter (barely) unscathed. I cannot handle people like that around my kids either, and it is worse when they are family. Hope you are feeling well, glad you can eat again!!!
Skrimpy, my fusser with reflux was pretty obvious.....I could tell also that she was in pain after she nursed. She was pretty much inconsolable for about 30 minutes each time, it was very frustrating and I felt horrible for her. At her 2 month check-up, I believe, I told her I thought she had reflux and due to the fussing immediately after eating and lots of spitting up, it was an easy diagnosis. We tried Zantac, which was like deisel fuel and an awful task to get her to take, but then Prevacid tabs that I could dissolve did the trick. This poor kid also would take like 8 craps a day, I am serious.....and usually one during her nap which would give her wicked diaper rash....so much so that we had to put steriod burn cream on her butt to heal the gaping wounds.....until one day, I noticed that lovely side effect of HAIR GROWTH and immediately called me doctors practically screaming "My baby has pubes! WTF????" Ah, those were the days. (They fell out after we stopped using it....I know you were all wondering!) But back to Honor, I think it may be witching hour also....just if it appears to be right after feedings and lots of spitting up, maybe think about speaking to the doctor about that. I know it is frustrating to have a fusser!!!!!! Hope you are holding down the fort well!
Layla, Alexis, Jane.....anyone else I forgot, let's get pregnant this month! I am sick of it all too. I did start my Clomid yesterday.....have no side effects as of yet. I know, can you all believe this grandma's house crapola? We are just going to sneak around and do it somehow, even if we have to go get in the car. Heck, that seems to be a magical place for conception, no?

Lola-woohoo for Chlomid! Fx this is your month :)
Layla- you have no idea what a pain my in-laws are. The only good thing is dh knows they're nuts so we spend as little time with them as possible. Problem is between holidays and birthdays we still see them once a month, some times more. Ironically this baby's birthday will fill the only month we were safe lol
Kris- most calendars will assume a 14 day lp, I didn't O when predicted either.
Alexis- fx!!
Well we spilled the news to my mom today. She's been out of town for the last 6 weeks so she wanted to see the kids and insisted we stay for dinner. She tried to feed us in our normal meat and veg way, so it was either gag down the food and be sick or tell her. She's been lovingly harassing me for a while so there is no way I could fake my way through a meal. She is, of course, thrilled.

I haven't been on here for a while, but I have a very specific question. My O day is all over the place so getting a 4 day abstinence has been difficult, but I am hoping my body is getting a 'normal' after all these sups for the past 4 months. It is dreadfully hot here, and DH has to work in the heat for a couple hours a day. We DTD last night thinking I could have 4-6 days until O day and got an OPK + this morning. So if we BD this month (tonight) it will only be a 24 hour abstinence and a hot day. Would you wait another month, or go for it?

I ovulated on the 5th ELP
I O on the 4th so it seems like our tickers s/b closer together. I'm using the FF's calculator based on O date and I have an estimated due date of 3.26.12

It's kinda hard to be totally positive when you know that tragedy can be right around the corner. It's really hard to balance it all. I wish I could say everything will be fine, but we both know good wishes don't make things better. There's hope though and I pray everything will turn out all right, 3PNB. Looks like you are almost through your 1st trimester which is great to hit that mark. I'm praying everything will be all right for you, hang in there mamma!
Sounds like a great two days. It's so hard when you see parents who are immature and you can see the scary things that can happen to their children. I sure hope the grow up and take child rearing seriously.

Oh and when i put my last period in this one it says conception day was the 8th but i don't think so. I ovulated on the 5th or 6th and did the inseminations on the 5th and 7th but i think the 7th was too late and i got pg on the 5th?
I would go w/ the date ELP gave you cuz it's inline w/ mine. Your Dr. will no doubt go w/ first date of last period, but I O early so that's not accurate. I'll go off of my own date and disregard the Dr.'s

That's awesome 3PNB. My parents are so anti-clamatic when we announce. After 9 or so announcements they don't get too excited. Plus that's just not the kind of people we are. My MIL on the other hand is much better to tell.

Hey ladies I have a thick mucus like discharge. Only 2day after dtd so could it be early pregnancy symptom or left overs from the pre-seed or even semen? I remember having the same type of thing after all my last pregnancies but dont thinkit was this early.
Seems kindof early but you never know.

Hmmmm, Are you just trying to get pregnant or total boy sway? 24 hours abstinence isn't the end of the world for sure...the hot day??? OK hopefully someone else will comment cuz I'm just not sure. I totally screwed up my timing this time but I'm OK w/ it and happy to be pregnant.

Yeah you're right, because I ovulated earlier than usual I think that's messing with the results. I'm pretty sure I got pregnant from the insemination on the 5th as well so I should only be a day behind you.

Update for me: So I took another thyroid test on Tuesday. It would've been 5 weeks on Thursday so I took the thyroid test again a little before 5 weeks from the last ones. My GP originally told me I could take before the 6-8 weeks but it wouldn't tell her anything. Anyway, this was ordered by my OB and it came back well w/in the normal range. I'm not totally sure I can count it since it's before 6-8 weeks, but I'm thrilled. It's a positive sign and I'm so happy it appears to be "normal"
I really only told 1 friend about my bfp so far. I think I'm kinda scared to share this w/ anyone. I guess I don't care at all what my friends and family think and yet I totally do. I don't want to see any disappointed faces or looks of concern. Of coarse if I tell, the next follow-up ? will always be if we got our autopsy results from DS2 yet, and I don't want to deal w/ that right now either. I didn't want to hide this pregnancy either so I'm not sure what to do. For now I'm OK waiting to tell and would like to get an U/S before telling I think. I wish people were just not in my life at all sometimes. If I never talked bad about anyone I'd feel better about telling people to take a flying leap and mind their own business and if they say one negative word out of "concern" or otherwise and I find out about it, then our relationship is in serious trouble! My pregnancy was so miserable last time that I DO NOT want it to be like that again. This should be joyous time, why are people involved!

Any rocking supps or anything recommended by anyone's Dr.'s or midwives? I'm taking a great prenatal again called innate response and started cod liver oil again, but I'm not sure what anyone else is taking. I've stopped all other supps except FA, Iron, pre-natals & the cod liver oil.
Another off the wall question for you ladies abroad. I bought a Miyo baby hammock for DS2 and I'm not sure if anyone else has used them and like them. The police still have the actual hammock part of it from their investigation and I sure hope to get it back soon, but don't want to stir the pot iykwim! I'd hate to re buy it, it was very very expensive.

Lastly. It's Dh's 35th birthday today. Af is here. Guess my mouth is getting a work out tonight! haha. I did a huge photoshoot for some of our top fitness models in the bay area today. Talk about making you hate your body even more working with fit chicks. At least one of then liked me so much she offered to train me for trade. Helps being cute and funny. They might be fit but these chicks don't no dick about makeup! Thank GOD for me!! Ha. I crack myself Up!
How is everyone. 3PN, i see you had a good app and your announcing the big new at DD's bday party!
What else have I missed? I'm hungry. I got so excited when I saw I luv's and Kris's news I skipped everything else. I gotta go back and see what else is going on.
Sorry I have been MIA, My cousin wedding is getting close so we have had showers and stuff. BUT that also means My Attempt is getting close too!! Wahoooooooo!

Happy B-day Tink's DH! Turning 35 is not as much fun as 25. :) I would cry if I had to put make-up on fitness models right now. Of coarse I don't work out so it's my own fault. Bet not many of them have had kids either. :) Trade is awesome! I know how to put on my eyeliner and mascara and that's about it (of coarse my know it all teenager says I don't do my eyeliner right) :)
I was wondering what happened to you. I posted a where are you tink but s/h pm'd instead. The wedding will be great and it's close to baby making time....yay!! I think Lola will be attempting soon and hoping the Clomid is just what the Dr. ordered.
