Mine said girl for my ds and boy for this one. it's going to be right 50% of the time for everyone.

How do people manage walking about with a toddler and a newborn? Do you have buggy boards and do your toddlers behave with them? At the moment we walk but he's not walking too far so I bring the pram if we go on a longer trip. If he's playing up I just put him in the stroller and he settles once we set off usually. I have visions of being trapped inside once the new baby comes as it will be such a mission to get out with 2 babies especially if he's in one of those moods! I don't think he would behave and stand on a buggy board for too long..

I do the same. When ds 4 was brand new I used a moby wrap, and then when he was bigger I used a carrier. There are lots of Facebook groups for baby wearing. It's really saved my sanity. I still wear him at bigger events/markets where I need to push ds3 in a stroller but tighter spaces where the double stroller won't do.

I got a buggy board for DD when DS was born. It was great when out walking on streets but not so good for the rough ground and can be difficult to turn when you have a heavy toddler on it

I'm 5 weeks 4 days and except for sore boobs I got nothing.
Should I be worried?

I had a double stroller and I really enjoyed that. My first was so lazy about walking the first year of his brother's life so we used it a ton. I have the Britax B Ready or Britax B Dual (name depends on where you live) and am really happy with it.

I'm glad you had a good scan Hitme!

I don't put any stock in the gender calendar......it was wrong for my girls!!!!!
Healthygirl~ I had hardly any symptoms in the begining of my girls pregnancies, but this one I had them all as soon as I got my bfp..... It really depends on your pregnancy!!
Dreaming of pink, will you be exactly 12 weeks?

I guess the reason why I am so paranoid and scared is that (not so much with my first) but with my second don I had such prominent perfect boy nub on the ultrasound that there was no denying he was all boy. At that stage we weren't going to find out the gender with our second and I felt like I knew the gender as early as 13 weeks
Luckily I am going in when I will be under 13 weeks, so hopefully it won't be that noticeable

I'm starting to get so scared about the Panorama results. At least with the first trimester screening (which we will also be doing) you still have a chance that everything is alright as it is all just statistics and more testing is normally necessary, but with panorama if you hear bad news that is it. I'm pretty stressed about it. I've been so ill and miserable this pregnancy that if it doesn't work out I don't know how I will be able to try again. I'll be happy when next week is over.

Thinking of all of you ladies as you have big milestones coming up! I hope you see a great (girly!) nub Dreamingpink. And I hope your panorama turns out perfect Junie. I feel like I'm learning so much from you ladies and I hope all goes well.

Sushi kitty - not that this matters but April 17th is my birthday! :) So if your due then it's a great day!

Healthy - I'm only 5 weeks, but so far I've just had really sore nips and a stuffy nose. Some days I'm pretty hungry constantly but that's about it. I know what you mean though - I'd rather feel crappy to know everything is going well!

Ash- yeah the Dr. said it normally takes them about 12 days to process which would be Tuesday. I actually never worried about any of this type of stuff before my miscarriage earlier this year. I guess it just showed me that all of this stuff can happen even with low odds. But I'm hopeful for sure.

Regarding the stomach I wouldn't worry yet. At the point where it is an issue and could be dangerous I think you'll actually feel really uncomfortable (my heart starts racing, etc) and have to move, at least that has always been the case for me and laying on my back.

Good luck for Tuesday Junie.

Thanks for the tips with baby wearing and double buggies. I found the sling with my ds really uncomfortable on my back but it may have been because I wasn't using it properly. I'll get some advice from the experts when baby arrives as I think that's the only way I'll be able to get out with my ds in a stroller. I'm so scared about the prospect of 2 babies! My ds will be 2.5 by the time the new baby comes ... I hope he doesn't get too jealous. All the anxieties...

I know how you feel. I feel guilty a little too for spending the money just to get the news over with. Sure it's a great test too with the genetics disorders - but I can get similar tests in conjugation with the nt scan for free. I'm basically doing panorama for the early gender info if I'm being honest with myself and everyone else.

I also feel disconnected to this pregnancy. It's maybe because I physically feel like crap, and maybe it's just because it's a busy season for my work, but I feel anytime I do think about the pregnancy it's about the gender. That's another reason I just want to find out now. It will be great to get over any gd if that's what happens and then get excited about it by the time we tell people.
Assuming the worst of course.

Just been catching up on everyone !! All still good here :) still very disconnected from this pregnancy but starting to get little moments of excitement and having some really good days lately too so maybe that's why. Baby is doing well. NT scan in a week!! Thankfully gender is the last thing on my mind, I will be very happy with another DD :D

Hitme- cool he was thinking of you. Can't say I have any exes on my fb lol.
Genetetic testing- I am rather against it and have not had it for any of my children. Only reason I would do it now if I did is 100% for gender which I have never found out either. At least now the newer harmony and tests like it seem to have a much lower rate of false positives.

Junie

Atsaukina- yeah genetic testing is a personal choice for sure but I'm very glad that we have access to it. I didn't do testing for the previous pregnancies as I didn't like the thought of doing an amnio but I love that this just takes my blood.

We're close enough to tolerate each other for the older boys (20 & 15). My ex and I don't speak much aside from text but he recently lost his dad (my older boys grandpa) so that's been sad for him and the boys. We have zero in common otherwise and he doesn't know I'm pg. it's completely random that he sent it. No one knows I'm pg aside from this forum and BFF. Partly why I'm disconnected also I would imagine.

Junie, I can't wait for your results, I'll be praying that everything turns out good. Also, OT but I can't stop staring at your signature. Those two little smileys remind me so much of my boys. Maybe it's the pregnancy hormones but I'm sitting here thinking I would love another little boy that loves trucks, dinosaurs, airplanes, and most of all their mama. :) I'm just thankful to add another LO to our bunch. I'm sure that's how we all feel, regardless of the gender. I know the baby's health was definitely something that made me nervous, because I figured after two healthy pregnancies I was "due" for some complications. So far it's been good so let's just keep praying for healthy LOs for everyone!!

ETA: Just to clarify, I meant the pregnancy hormones are what's making me react so strongly to little smileys, ...it sorta sounded like I was saying the hormones were the only reason I was hoping for a boy.

Agree. I've never had a false positive but knew if I did have one that the only option to be sure would be amnio and that's scares me. Remind me your age again Junie? I'm 39, so it does put me closer to the age that the risks are higher.
And it is a personal choice. As is everything we do in pregnancy and child care too.
This is a support forum, you'll only ever get support from me - never judgement.

I'm 29 so not high risk at all but I mean the chances of having a missed miscarriage so late after also seeing a heartbeat were very very low too so now I'm just open to the possibility of everything- although I'll admit that if gender wasn't included in the test I don't think I would have done it! Just the first trimester screening.

Like all of us here I have a lot of feelings when it comes to gender and I just want to 100% know and move on with love for whatever sex child is coming. The sooner the better ;)

For those of you who might possibly be having a 2nd boy I just have to say that if it does happen that it can be so darn sweet watching them together. My sons are like each others biggest fans and especially now that they're a bit older (3 and 5 1/2) they play together so well and in fact their favorite thing to do is sleep together in a sofa bed and pretend they are having a sleepover with each other. It is really really wonderful. Of course my pregnancy hormones are making me feel a bit emotional at the moment :)

I love having a boy so I know I would equally love 2. I love the way he lines up all his cars and trucks and he's obsessed with dinosaurs and any type of lorry or digger! Love <3

I'm ok to speak openly! I got it from my an obgyn. He shot me what imagine is a generic list of questions - am I ovulating? LMP? How long trying, Questions about pcos, diet, exercise, the whole run down. I told him 58 days since lmp and no ovulation tests turning pos (which was true but bc i screwed up with vitex and took it too long).
He was going to rx me femara but then j chimed in with that I do track and I believe I have a short luteal phrase (which I DID actually have but didn't know yet, since all this was coming off of only one period since having ds4) and that I'd read that clomid was the go-to fix for that.
He wasn't shocked or alarmed that I asked for/suggested something direct, he later told me that I seemed well versed in fertility matters and that I must do my research. Lol

You guys are making my heart ache talking about your little boys. :) I know that I'll love this LO no matter what gender, but reading about your DSs is seriously so awesome. I really hope I have a little blue bean cooking in here - although I'll be okay with pink too!

I had some stomach cramping last night too, Healthygirl, especially when I tried to roll onto my stomach and this was my first time feeling it. It was one sharp cramp, but I haven't had anything major going on since then so I'm not too concerned about it. I agree - your appointment will be here in no time on Friday! Can't wait to hear all about it!

I also can connect with you guys feeling disconnected. I don't know if it's because we're keeping it a secret or I'm trying to stay positive but not attached until we hear a heartbeat I don't know. I was so excited when we found out we were pregnant the first time I couldn't stop thinking about it and now it feels like it's almost not real. I feel just so calm about it - which is maybe a good sign! Maybe I feel calm because everything will work out just fine. :)

Taytum~ yes, symptoms can be stronger or weaker from one day to the next.... No worries! I actually did the same thing in the earlier days of this pregnancy.... They hurt more consistantly now, lol.....

Today I saw an allergist for my chronic hives.... Apparently I'm allergic to tree nuts!:suprise: which makes sense why I was a getting a ton of hives when swaying since that was a major part of my sway!!

Also, tomorrow I get to have another appointment to hear babes heartbeat!! Yay, always fun :)

27520So had the ultrasound today
Baby measured 13 weeks (by my dates I am 12.4)

Everything looked good and healthy, heartbeat was 146
Fingeres crossed that the blood test and ultrasound shows nothing wrong

I will attach few pictures that were printed out
Admitingly this nub looked nothing like my seconds son's and on the screen today looked quite parallel
Not sure if it was just wishful thinking

What do you girls think???!? Is there some sort of chance for me???27519

Congratulations on a great scan dreaming.

I was starting to have trouble sleeping at night last week. I pulled my dream genie pillow down from the top of the wardrobe at the weekend and I have slept right through since. But that may be a coincidence since I was so tired all last week.
I saw my SIL at the weekend who is 10 days ahead of me on her 3rd too and I felt huge beside her. She is really slim and just had a slight roundness to her tummy. I have a proper no mistaking it bump at this stage and have gained 9lb so far. Which is not too bad for me , I had gained more with the other two at this stage. I just felt so big and frumpy beside her.

Yeah I was also surprised to find out so fast. I'm just so happy that baby is healthy and while I would have loved to buy some dresses in the end that is such a small part of being a parent. I feel like I was meant to have 3 boys and I feel truly blessed. Plus I just have to remember that I have girlfriends to go shopping with and that special mother daughter bond is something I can also have with my boys :) I really like the idea of being the only girl in the house to be honest. Junie, that's great news! Congrats on your healthy baby boy. I've been having some boy wishes lately too. I think it's all part of adding a new sibling to the family. Sometimes we don't know what we want! Lol I have a friend that always posts the cutest pics of her three boys and lately I've been stalking her profile. There's something amazing about three gorgeous lovable boys.

How do you guys know when your due date is if you haven't had an ultrasound

If you have a regular cycle or you were tracking ovulation then you base it on that max you are going to be a day or two out. With ultrasound your dates are based on average growth rates which is fine if you are having a baby that fits in with that. My DS measured two weeks ahead from very early on, my doc asked me if I was happy with my dates and I told him I was, when I saw a midwife a few weeks later at another scan she insisted my dates were wrong and she would talk to my doc to move it forward 2 weeks. My doc stuck with my dates, and I had my attempted VBAC on my due date. If that midwife had got her way then I never would have had the chance as I would have been told time was up before I even reached true 40 weeks. So ultrasound dates can be very wrong too and your ovulation date gives you the most accurate due date

So with my last pregnancy starting 6-7 weeks I acquired this weird mouth taste that dragged through the entire pregnancy and actually stuck around for a month after my sons birth.
If I had to describe the taste I would say it was this weird bitter taste. The taste was pretty bad that I hated my entire pregnancy and thought maybe it was all in my head. Eating spicy food and lemons helped get rid of the taste temporarily. It was something that was on my mind all the time and i had to take lemons and ice chips to work.
I'm exactly 6 weeks today and since yesterday I have noticed a similar taste in my mouth ( not as bad). It's really getting me worried since I know if this is what I had with my son that I will have it again for 8 more months.

Anyone here experienced or know anyone that has had this?

I had this and was diagnosed with Acid reflux. Apparently for me, it was the excess stomach acid creeping up causing a bad taste in my mouth. Chewing gum helps in between taking Zantac (Ranitidine). I had it with my other boys and only had heartburn that Tums helped. This time, Tums didn't help.

This might not be the case with you, but just keep in the back of your head if you start to develop other symptoms of acid reflux.

Weird taste- I was thinking a dental problem but since you said it went away and then came back w other prego? Weird. I have had really bad heartburn like gasoline fumes going through my chest and throat probably acid reflux but never diagnosed but didn't leave a bitter taste at all just very painful. I would bring it up w your doc for sure.

HealthyGirl

Definitely not dental problem since I'm a dentist and I would be able to diagnose that.

Xxforhubby I'm thinking maybe acid reflux too. But why so early?
I guess it's doesn't hurt to take some Zantac and see if it gets better.

Mine is an EDD just because I know the date I ovulated/conceived and put that in a due date calculator. I got my BFP on 9/9 as well, but at 10dpo, so if yours was on date of missed period then you'd be at least 3/4 days ahead of me. My LMP was August 15th, but I ovulated cd16 so that date is a little off. I'm sure I'll get a better estimate after the ultrasound! :)

That's weird about your taste! I feel like I'm starving and nothing sounds good...except spaghetti-o's!

I'm not sure why it kicked in so early for me either. Mine kicked in at or a bit before 8 weeks :/. The doctor I saw (not my GP) said that the more pregnancies you have the spinchter in your stomach loosens earlier. Must be the case, because I've been on Zantac 150mg twice a day since! Thank goodness it is safe in pregnancy!!!

I've been suffering with heartburn since the bfp too. Guess I'm not alone - never had it with the others.

I am having a not so great day. I got some unsettling news that I'm having a hard time processing. I'm not sure I want to discuss it here but my baby could be at risk, so I'm trying to get all the answers that I can as quickly as possible.

I feel very alone and isolated as it is, let alone with this new shock.

Now I have cramps and I'm not sure it's in my head or if it's digestive or just normal pg growth.

Sorry to hear your sway didn't work Junie but I'm so happy that you feel happy with bringing your new little man into your family. You are so right, the bond between mother and son is just as strong as mother and daughter and there is so much more to being a parent than buying girly clothes! Glad you are feeling ok.

Hitme I echo what the others have said. You know where we are if you need some support. Rest up and look after yourself.

I think I have acid reflux too. Had it since my Ms started at about 5+5 weeks. I have started vomiting more recently. It's really getting me down. I feel so run down and to make it worse I'm getting a cold too. I feel I may have to start taking some time off work until I feel better as I can't function properly. Is Ms meant to ease up when the placenta takes over?

2 of my friends are pregnant at the moment and there 12 week scans are suggestive of girls. They both want girls. I will be happy for them but I know if my suspicions are true and I get a boy it will make it much harder. I just can't wait to know one way or the other. Need some answers!

I do, Junie :). Swayed boy, although perhaps not the most hard core sway. Gained some weight (my first pregnancy not starting off underweight), multivitamin, vit d, fish oil, tried to eat often and good amounts of meat, few attempts in fertile window. Overall, a few things were different to when I conceived my girls so we shall see... Can't really imagine hearing boy after four girls.

It really helps when you guys talk so fondly of seeing your boys together. I have often thought of what it would be like to see my ds with his brother and it does make me feel positively about it. I love having a boy so I know I would equally love 2. I love the way he lines up all his cars and trucks and he's obsessed with dinosaurs and any type of lorry or digger! Love <3

[QUOTE=atomic sagebrush;759157]I know you guys have heard me yammer about this before but there is something amazing about having 2 boys. I will forever be thankful for my "two pairs".[/QUOTE

Thank you all for the welcome! We decided to try on a whim...a one shot wonder, haha. After the issues I've had with low progesterone and LPD, I was very surprised to see a BFP, so we didn't even end up swaying. My diet has been less than stellar which may lean girl (after very nutrient dense diet with all three boys) but aside from that, I'm not sure. We're team green unless we find two, but I'm going to try to get a nub shot in a couple of months anyway.

How would you all handle this. You are all so supportive - I hope I'm not making any mistakes being forthcoming with this. I really don't want judgement.

I've been with my husband for 8 years. Before that I was with my ex for nearly 15 years. Totally monogamous relationship. Yesterday my midwife calls telling me I screened positive for chlamydia via a urine sample. I've done nothing but pace the halls, toss and turn and Google the shit out of this bc HOW THE HELL DID IT GET IT????? I have zero symptoms. Zero. I went in for a retest - as someone mentioned false positives happen. So I went and had urine and swab redone and now I wait. I asked if it was possible that him or I had it before we met and carried it into our marriage and she said it is possible. I called my family doctor then. To find out if I've ever been tested before (to see if us routine in pregnancy) and he said no, only if we ask for it. So could I have had this for years and years and neither done of us had any symptoms?

He's out of the country and so I have not approached him. I've bawled my eyes out at the possibility of an affair. He's not the "type"... But what else can I think?

My midwife said if we're in a trusting and honest relationship with good dialogue this shouldn't be a big deal. She also said false positive is highly unlikely, and that it's very likely one of us had it forever. But it is a big deal. I'm mortified. An absolute mess. I can't stop crying and thinking about this.

My doctor also said its possible that one of us had it but his tone was that it was very unlikely...

Hitme - Definitely no judgement here at all. I can't imagine how upset and torn you are - I can imagine that is devastating to you.

If it were possible, do you think your husband could have had it for years and not known it before finally passing it on to you? I know for example, my DH has only been STD tested ONCE in his life, and that was only because he had a UTI, and that was back in high school. So to me, it's much more likely that he's had it forever with no symptoms and without symptoms, why would he be swabbed and checked for it? And I think you're right - if neither of you has been checked for it, it seems very possible to me you could have had it for years before realizing it.

I hope if nothing else you're able to talk to your DH and he gets swabbed as well. I know that doesn't ease your fears as I'm sure there will be something in the back of your mind, but to me, it does seem possible that you could have had it for years without symptoms. I mean hell, you didn't even have symptoms now, right? It was just a routine screening since you're pregnant.

daisy4
September 24th, 2015, 02:53 PM
So sorry you are going through this hitme. I would first wait for the second results and if its the same. I have also read that most people who have chlamydia don't have any symptoms and that you could have it for years and not know. Especially if you have never been tested which is your case. Speak to your husband when you are ready, I wouldn't assume that cheating is 100% the cause and try to stay calm which is easier said then done ..I hope it all works out [emoji1]

Never any judgement here! Like everyone else said, you know your husband best.... If you've never been tested or your husband, it's totally possible that one of you got it from a previous relationship..... Take some time & talk to your hubby.... Still praying for you..:hugs:

Hitme- no judgement at all here. I can offer hope/encouragement from a pregnancy stand point. Chlamydia during pregnancy is a treatable thing. It only becomes dangerous if it goes untreated, and you've already started that process by being tested. Once you have gone through a course of antibiotics(which are safe for your baby)- it is gone, like strep throat or any other infection. As for whether you could have had it for awhile--- it is entirely possible. Chlamydia is a silent std for many people and without symptoms- it isn't tested for as a routine thing. Like someone else mentioned--- you have no symptoms right now. It's definitely a possibility that neither of you has had symptoms, or that the symptoms were overlooked since they last about 1 week and then are completely silent until treated or tested for.

Although I have never gone through this while pregnant- my husband tested positive for syphilis when we were preparing to TTC our first. He had never been tested before in his life, and didn't know how long he had been positive. If we hadn't been using protection, it is entirely possible he could have passed it to me, and then I wouldn't have known until I was tested with a pregnancy, since I had been clean at my last test before meeting him. It was a very scary time for us, because, like you, I had my doubts as to if he had been faithful. My midwife said that for almost 90% of men, they find out they are positive for an sti only when their wife gets pregnant or starts trying because they don't test regularly enough. After all, men won't go to a doctor unless they're dying.

Hitme like others have already said you can definitely carry chlamydia for years and years with no symptoms. 80% of women have no symptoms. Make sure you repeat the test 6 weeks after the end of your treatment period to make sure it's worked. It's very easy to catch chlamydia as its so common. I can completely understand your distress and think you need to talk to hubby but try to stay calm as if he has carried it all this time from a previous relationship I'm sure he'll feel awful.

Such lovely advice from everyone, of course no judgement here!! I think the chances are very high one of you got it from a previous relationship and just never knew. If you were never tested before, how would you know? Big hugs and try as hard as you can not to worry. Thankfully it is treatable and sounds like it won't affect the baby. I would talk to hubby about it ASAP just as I think it would end up being reassuring and otherwise my mind would run crazy.

Oh Hitme! I want to tell you that it IS possible to have had this for a while without symptoms. Years ago, I was in a long term relationship and had my annual. They always ask me if I want to be tested for STDs, and I said yes. We had just gotten back together after breaking up for a spell. Well lo and behold, I had Chlamydia! He got tested and tested positive. We played the blame game, but we were young- 19 and 21 at the time. Come to find out, my ex boyfriends brother called me to tell me a former boyfriend of mine had Chlamydia too, so who knows who I got it from and how long I had it!

I've gone on to have now three children who are all very healthy. Treatment is antibiotics and should be cleared up in no time.

I would gingerly approach your husband about this and say up front that no finger pointing/blame game will happen. If he has been unfaithful, you will know from his reaction and how he handles it.

As far as the baby is concerned, I'm not for sure. I do know that babies are pretty hearty and are resilient.

Hang in there sweetie!!!

Thank you everyone. Thank you for being kind and supportive. I have to talk to him as he will need tested/treated. His flight was delayed so it will have to be in the day tomorrow.
I'm delaying antibiotics for only a few days (til the 2nd test comes back), and don't believe another few days will harm the baby, especially if it's true and I've had it for nearly a decade.
It's very emotionally stressful and I feel that physically as well. I am hoping to get a good nights sleep as I am so so very tired and be able to calmly approach him tomorrow.
Thanks again for your support, and sharing your experiences; it means the world to me right now.

I decided to take the approach assuming that there was no cheating. We had a very quick conversation explaining my week, and he had all the same questions I had, about symptoms and dormancy, and whether the test is wrong.
We believe now he picked it up from his ex; as we found out last year that she was a (*** cough***) plus size adult entertainment film star before she was with dh. He told me about a female friend that had it but they were never intimate and he never asked here much about it. I guess we'll wait for my test results and then we'll head to the walk in clinic together to get antibiotics. That's the end of that...

Well done for such a difficult conversation. I'm glad you are feeling better now. Make sure you go to a sexual health clinic so you get the right follow-up. You need a repeat test 6 weeks after and one at 36/40 pregnant too just in case treatment doesn't fully work for one of you.

I'll be glad when it's all over for sure. The one thing dh and I are both shocked of is why isn't this routine - like here it is not part of a pap when it should be if it can cause as much fans as I've read it can. Definitely a hole in our Heath care system...

Aside from that we had lots of catching up to do, he was away on business since Monday and so I told him I went for panorama and he's so excited to find out - it's all he's been talking about lol!! So talk about a 180 in emotions. I'm so glad he's back. We're hoping to hold out till thanksgiving. (The weekend after next... If I can hold off that long) I have a fun idea to do a pregnancy/gender announcement of doing homemade crackers (usually for Christmas but I'll put a thanksgiving twist on it) and personalizing them so that one will have a message saying "congrats you will be an aunt again on apr 21" and either add that it's a boy or a Girl or do it on blue or pink paper.

Well I had my appointment earlier due to the bleed and had an unexpected ultrasound. I think this bleed will never end. Baby is well and measured a little ahead. I didn't get a good nub shot though and no clues during the scan - I would guess a girl from the little I did see and I'm very happy :)

Hitme - that has always floored me as well that they don't check for anything! I wasn't the most monogomous through college and I always thought at my annual exams that they checked for that. No one even asked me if I wanted to! It wasn't until I had my chemical and did a pap in February that I was STD tested. Simply crazy to me!

True - so glad that your little baby is doing well! And I'm so happy to hear that you're happy with a little girl as well! I've come to really believe that girl or boy, I'll be just as happy. That gives you a sense of peace, and it sounds like you have that! :)

True - that is such great news about your scan. I also bled off and on with ds 3 for the better part of my pregnancy, With no harm, and every ultrasound looked good!

Healthy did you ever get a scan to count how many beans???

Bee thank you; in all this personal drama I don't think I got a chance to welcome you to this group! So nice to see more friendly mamas get their bfps! What's your due date? Did you sway pink or blue?

I too have no preference for gender any more. Dh is actually now fearing a girl lol he said today "if our boys are this adorable, what will happen to us is we have a pretty girl?" Then he went on about cleaning guns (that we don't own) and having talks with boys with poor intentions lol

Hitme, the way I see it if you didn't suspect him cheating before then you shouldn't treat this as any possible evidence. Women tend to know when somethings up and if there was nothing prior to this then I'd just assume it was undiagnosed. It sounds like you handled it very well and you have nothing to worry about. :)

Ramping theory states that if the baby implanted on the left = girl and right = boy. This is true if the scan was done vaginally. If the scan was done abdominally then it is flipped right would really mean left =girl and left would really mean right = boy.

Was your scan image that you posted taken vaginally or abdominally?

FWIW, this little guy implanted in my left side and I even ovulated from my left ovary (seen on the dating scan too)! Please don't put much stock into this theory- it's a bunch of huey!!!

Ramzi theory would say girl when done vaginally because left is truly left. It's abdominal scans that left is really right and right is really left.

I still wouldn't put stock into this because I'm pregnant with a Ramzi girl and he is very much a boy!!!

It's school holidays and the kids have been so feral this morning. I'm pretty grounded.

It's the full/blood moon I tell ya! Kids around the world are turning into anarchists lol

Thanks everyone :)

I'm glad there is some reason Hitme! They all have scratches on their faces from attacking each other. We've been working so hard on communication skills and conflict resolution but it's all gone to poo.

Yes. Well it's a long story but the general gist of it is I was going to go for my gender scan next week but then we decided to take the boys in today just to show them the baby seeing as it's school holidays. But then it was pretty obvious it was a girl so we just ended up finding out with them there. I am 15 ish weeks too. Not sure exactly anymore lol.

Congratulations covered. I am delighted for you.

Ash you should be fine flying for 4hrs. We took an autumn city break around 7months when expecting DD. Just get a doctors note to clear you for flying

Yeah we wanted to take a last trip just the four of us and beginning of Feb was only time it fit. I'll also be flying at 35 weeks but only an hr for ski holidays. I've never gone early so I don't worry about it at all to be honest :)

I had a note when flying in last tri but they never asked for it:

Man just had to Google when 1st tri is over. Not soon enough lol. This part always makes me question wtf I was thinking?? How are you 2nd tri ladies feeling?

2nd tri is flying by tbh. I cannot believe that I am 17 weeks already. Staying up until 11pm at weekends like a party animal [emoji12]. I love having energy back and a pep in my step. I may even start baking again at the weekend. I have arranged some play dates for DD even though I have been crazy busy and not at home for the past 3 weekends in a row.

Pearl that sounds awesome. Can't wait to get some energy. I don't know how working moms do it. I drive kids 2 hours in the morning to 3 diff. Schools and then I am done but have 2 littles to watch who luckily don't get into trouble and let their lazy sick mom lie around until pick up time. No way I could function in the real world right now.

I know how you feel. I work weekends and then edit through the week. Literally a desk job mon-fri and I cannot get my Ass in gear. I'm laying on the couch watching peppa pig as I type this. So tired.

I've had my ringer on all day hoping to hear back early from the doctors office with my panorama results. I'm preparing to hear boy. Mr he stars just didn't seem to align. Full moon and crappy Chinese gender calendar at the top of the strike list; with me cutting cardio and adding more meat, made my sway weaker than most.

Good luck Hitme! I have my fingers crossed for you and hope you hear back soon xx
You can totally get a girl with a less than perfect sway. Mine was pretty weak towards the end too.
