I'm unsure of temp accuracy this morning. I got zero sleep and woke up for hours at a time before testing. At 6am I got a much lower temp than at 740.
Oddly enough, two days ago I had a blinky opk and my temp spiked by a ton the next morning. I discarded it because I only slept for 5 hours and it was hard long drunk sleep lol (it was our anniversary night.) I didn't get s positive opk until the next morning, so I'm hoping that we didn't miss it.

Lauren - alcohol can definately make your temp spike. I'm getting abit confused due to our time differences I suppose as to exactly where you are in days but just wanted to clarify something in case. this is ideally how it should go. You get your solid smiley, you bd that day, next morning you dont want to see a temp rise as that would mean you would've oed. The following morning (2nd morning from solid smiley) is when you want to see that temp rise. That gives you your day before o attempt. Does that make sense to you? I'd go with your first temp. Can you post a screenshot of your chart?

Ughh opk is still in thinking to O mode lol it might be like a shade darker but its still wet to compare to last nights. So if its not a positive today im not too worried and my body doesn't even feel like its going to O in the 24 hours either. Im just wondering if this is going to be another late one maybe cd21 which is still 4 days away. Temp was 35.8 this morning so i think thats still within non ovulation temps. I'll post a pic when it dries. I think ill so one this afternoon and then leave it for tmro morning. Otherwise ill be out of my cheapies soon 😂

Thereabouts... I'd say likely late CD 15 night or early CD 16 when it couldn't FULLY shift your temp but was working in that direction due to CM dry up on CD 16 and complete shift on CD 17.

Ok ladies i need some help. These are my opks top from last night. The bottom 1.30pm today not quite positive yet.

I do plan on repeating my opk at about 6pm to help un a final decision. My dilemma is this. I am working night shift tonight and hubby is working tmro. We could squeeze in an attempt tonight about 7.30 or the next one would be about 1.00pm tmro. Im leaning more towards tmro because it would be a relaxed attempt and i usually jump the gun in regards to O 😂 i have been getting some O pains on and off from about lunchtime. My main concern is a rushed attempt tonight but do you think it would be too late tmro?

Thanks poptart. I'm pretty sure last cycle was a decent 2 day wait. I had a similar looking opk but got a very stronger one 24 hours later and still had a stronger one 24hrs after that. But im thinking i O after that 1st very strong positive. The cycle before was a bit hazy but i think it was shorter maybe 24hrs. In the back of my mind im hoping tmro. My dh will be more relaxed and so will i 😂

Mine was earlier last month and went from being very heavy in all previous cycles since DS2 to barely there and only lasting 3 days compared to my usual 6-7. It was the oddest AF I have ever had. I had to take two hpts to make sure it wasn't IB cause it really didn't feel or look like my usual flow!! My cycle last month was 29 days, this month its shaping up to being 26 days unless my LP changes. I'm thinking for me anyway its the diet in full swing.

Thanks mammacass, testing on the weekend if I can restrain myself. My ticker is wrong as my cycle SHOULD be 26 days this month. Never ended up with that bath last night, had it ran and used the last of my lavendar extract and had one foot in the tub when DS2 woke up all snuffly and calling for his mama! It took close to an hour to settle him so the bath was well and truly forgotten about - plus I fell asleep just after him lol.

I reckon tomorrow should be just fine netti. Waiting on that line can take forever, hopefully you see it tomorrow or Friday x

Yes af arrived really early, I was only 8dpo then. But my cycle in total was 27 days long and that's about my normal cycle lenght. I just o'd really late. Glad to hear I'm not the only one with weird cycles and light af! :) I'm sure it's because of LE diet and exercise!

When I O late (which is all the time now) I still normally have a 12 day LP. The only time it was shorter at 10 days was when I O'd Cd47.

That's what I've been thinking too but I started to take opks around cd10 and only positive I got was at cd19. Around cd19 I also got some ewcm and mild cramps which I didn't have before in that cycle.

2x I Oed earlier than anticipated last month and had zero signs of it. I usually have a little ewcm and O pains but had neither. Do you think I should take clomid if it didn't work before or am I just going to keep getting bfns? I ovulate regularly and our tests were normal last time so not sure what the problem is.

Maybe saying my bladder feels full isn't exactly right, it just feels tender in my lower abdomen and I feel like I need to wee more often. I just put it together and the only thing I can think of is UTI! As for implantation I don't recall even having felt that, just had niggly cramps but not like the heaviness I have now. Really truly hoping it's not AF so early!

I'd wait and see what your Ob thinks Quinn. My friend has had to take Clomid on her two pregnancies to get pg even though there's nothing "wrong" and all the blood work and SA came back ok. Her Ob didn't prescribe it the second time, she got it from a mutual friend. The Ob said there was no reason she couldn't conceive without it so he refused to give it even though they had been trying for 14 cycles at that stage! She got it from our friend and BAM was pg the next cycle with her second little lady :)

Yeah, even last cycle my LP was definitely no shorter than 10 days (I wasn't 100% sure when O happened but think it did around the 12th or 13th and AF showed on the 24th) Just my cycles having been so long since for ever (well at minimum 31 days but usually 34 or 35) and then last month it was 28 days and now this month IF my LP were to be as usual it would be a 26 day cycle I'm just wondering what's going on with the sudden drastic change. I've been on LE since May so it can't be the diet can it? Really hope it's not AF, I will update later. Hopefully with news of no AF!

Okay. So i tossed and turned and woke up around 430, had a big glass of water then temped at 5 (temp was lower than yesterday.) then I fell into a deep good sleep from 5 until 818 and temped and got a .8 degree spike from yesterday. (8 is when I normally temp) What temp do I keep???
I wish it were so easy that I slept perfectly all night ;)

Mommymachine, your temps are still way above your coverline so I wouldn't worry. Your test looks darker than yesterday's so that's good. Fertility Friend says an implantation dip typically happens between 7-10 DPO so you're within that range. FX for a sticky lil bean!!

Agreed! Plus the 2nd temp was at your normal time (15 minutes won't make a difference). Drinking something can have an affect on your temp for a long time. I wouldn't trust a temp unless it was closer to an hour after drinking something cold.

To attempt or not to attempt?
So the minor changes I made to my diet over the past week (full fat dairy once a day and an egg every other day) must be doing something-- here's today's opk's as of 1pm est.

Two days ago they were barely even visible. My temperature is still low as of this morning but I'm now soft, high, open, and seeing fertile cm. The catch, however, is the timing of our bd. If I go by a true e4d, I'm not due for another attempt until tomorrow morning (last attempt was Sunday am, should have been sat pm but DH fell asleep), BUT, during the week we can only do pm due to DH work schedule, so it's either tonight or not until tomorrow night. So the minor changes I made to my diet over the past week (full fat dairy once a day and an egg every other day) must be doing something-- here's today's opk's as of 1pm est.

Two days ago they were barely even visible. My temperature is still low as of this morning but I'm now soft, high, open, and seeing fertile cm. The catch, however, is the timing of our bd. If I go by a true e4d, I'm not due for another attempt until tomorrow morning (last attempt was Sunday am, should have been sat pm but DH fell asleep), BUT, during the week we can only do pm due to DH work schedule, so it's either tonight or not until tomorrow night. So do I go for it tonight and hope it's far enough from Sunday since it'll be like an 8 hour difference between 4 days and not? Or do I hope I don't o until Thursday night or Friday and bd tomorrow night? What would you do?

Has2, why did you made those change? Can't remember. Were you not ovulating? Atomic recommended the same changes for me to make my LP longer. I'm not an expert but maybe I would bd tomorrow as your opk isn't positive quite yet. Good luck!

2x, yes, I am already at max calories and protein, and was still dropping a ton of weight with no exercise, and my body kept trying to o but not managing it, so I figured it might be related to the diet.

Personally I would wait but in doing that you do take the chance that you get a firm +opk tomorrow - BUT O may not happen until the next day or even the day after that! I'm no use at helping make a decision, just go with what you feel x

AFM cramping has totally stopped though I am still needing to go to the bathroom quite often, no more brown CM after that teeny bit earlier and CP is high, soft and closed though I usually check in the PM so its not a reliable result. I'll check again in about an hour at the usual time I check.

Mommymachine that line is definitely darker! And as others have said try not to worry about your lower temp its still well above coverline. If you get a chance google bfp charts and check out the images, there's alot of charts there that have late temp dips followed by a rise. Hope this will help ease your mind. Congratulations again!!!

Lauren definately use your later temp as you had a solid sleep in between. A glass of water will affect your temp. If you wake early and need to get up or drink in the future try and take a temp before getting up. Welcome to the 2ww!!! Post your chart when you get crosshairs in a few days :)

Has2g I agree with hopper that those opks aren't quite positive yet. Can you test this afternoon again around 2ish for comparison? That might be able to help with your bd decision.

Lauren, I find temping really stressful and it makes me toss and turn a bit. I tend to take my temp at 4am because I seem to wake up around that time. I just take the temp note it down then go back to sleep. If I wake and don't take it I start thinking I have to get back to sleep to get 3 hours but then I can't sleep because I'm thinking too much!

Netti have you thought about trying the cb dual digi's? Even if you used your cheapies until a line starts coming in then switch to the digi's. That way you'd only have to test once a day with fmu. Just a thought :) although in saying that fx to no more cycle testing after this one as you'll have a bfp!!

Yep and still 35.8 this morning, so to me on the lower side. CM is in absolute abundance. Totally jumping the gun here but looking at due dates in regards to O it would be the 8.7.16. My mother in laws bday is the 13th and a girl around then would be lovely (shes an all boy mum too 😁)

If this is our lucky cycle we would be able to share the news around christmas (i normally tell everyone straight away but im thinking different this time). I was actually thinking i would put an u/s picture in a wrapped box and have the boys open it at Christmas, record it and then people could watch that 😂 totally cheesy and im jumping the gun.

I just looked up moon phases for my boys. I ovulated the day after the new moon with DS2 and a week before the new moon with DS1 (half moon?).

Wait and see what your temps do. FF predicted a few different ovulation dates for me this cycle but my temps were very up and down with 3 OPK+. I finally O'd cd30 although I'm still waiting for my temps to confirm I know it was the genuine O this time.

Mammacass I guess it could go either way? However I would be almost inclined to agree with ff based on cm and I'm sure on a previous post your cervix felt soft prior to cd15/16? However in saying all this when it comes to testing time I would take cd15, 16 & 18 into account. Although your cervix may have felt tender later the cm doesn't seem to fit?

Thought I could see a shadow on it but in the end snapped a pic to obsess over and threw it in the bin! DH is right - desperado lol. I'll test again with FMU tomorrow morning. I keep telling myself I'm only 8dpo so odds of a line are very slim anyway! You ladies are terrible influences - twisting my very rubber arm into testing lol.

Keeping the later temp yesterday was correct! Yay! In 8 months of swaying this is seriously the first month where I ovulated at the right timing for my attempt. Thank you so much PBN for making me get CB digis. They gave me an exact answer instead of days of positives and guesswork.

Ladies what would you do. Atomic recommended me to add 4-6 eggs a weeks, one serving of full fat dairy daily and one serving of salmon/red meat a week to get my LP longer. I already decided not to eat meat or fish yet (I've been vegetarian since June) but this week I've been having one egg every other day and one serving of whole mik daily. I'm just concerned it will sway blue. I fit these in my day's totals but it just worries me. Whole milk has lots of added vitamins in it, like d and b. I really want to get pregnant fast but really don't want to sway blue. I know I have to do something if my LP is going to be that short but should I just wait and see how is this cycle going to be and after that add eggs and full fat dairy...? I know it's totally up to me but I just don't know. Sorry probably I should post this somewhere else but thought I'd ask your opinions.

Netti both my mum and DH are dreading me falling pregnant for the same reason! I might not tell anyone until I know the gender as the pressure will be unbearable as everyone knows I'm desperate for a pink one! However.. After a few drinks Sunday DH said if the third was a boy he would try again (after previously telling me he was paying for the snip regardless of the gender after a third which made me even more desperate to make sure this one was a girl) so I made sure there were witnesses [emoji23][emoji23] I genuinely think I'm destined for boys and am sort of at peace with that but I do know if I actually found out I was having a girl Id be over the moon. Xx

When I got preg with my DD I was eating mostly cottage cheese and greek yogurt and drinking coffee (n lots of it), milk (2%) and powerade zero. As long as you stay within diet limits you can eat whatever and still be swaying. If your LP is messed up it's going to be pretty difficult to get preg and if you can't get preg you have zero chance of getting your DD.

My temp jumped today confirming O :) last night I had a headache which might have been the progesterone increase? I dont get them that often so it was unusual.
My attempt is O-1 so I'm happy with the timing, not so happy with my diet the week before as I always eat worse at home and was on leave that week. Oh well, I'm at the stage where I just want to be pregnant!

I'm back and forth whether I want to find out or not. I've been team green for both my boys and loved finding out at birth, but part of me wants to know this time for both practical and sentimental reasons. Practical because we'll need to figure out the sleeping arrangements and either move the boys into a bigger room for all three to share, or changing their playroom to a girls nursery, and sentimental because part of me would love to have all the pink lacy baby things that my sister had for her daughter instead of just using the yellows and greens I've had with both my boys.

Actually hoping it lightens somewhat tomorrow morning. I'm in the 2ww of my first month of swaying. I had my first OPK on Tuesday, CD14, and so we DTD. I have another positive OPK yesterday afternoon, then negative by evening. I was contemplating DTD last night and tonight, but Atomic says that one attempt gets better results than multiple attempts. I had aches in my low pelvis and back yesterday, which I've never had before. Here's to hoping and waiting for that BFP.

Yes I'm sure it just can't undo my 16 weeks of strict LE. I guess I was just hoping my cycle would be pretty much the same and to have no problems with o'ing or LP or anything. Luckily I didn't include vitex or sp to my sway, first I was going to, maybe they would've mess my cycle even more.

I trust Atomic and very much appreciate her advice. I just hope to get my dd so much so everything worries me I guess, lol.

Extremely cautious lol. Fingers crossed theres something more substantial there tomorrow!! I doubt I'll test again today, I have two FRERs left but finding it super hard to hold my pee for long enough. Checked CP last night and it was medium, soft (like an overly ripe plum) and closed. This stage last month it was low and very hard so keeping fingers crossed.

2x definitely agree with two. As long as you are within your limits you can eat what you like. I've seen Atomic say it plenty of times and she definitely knows what shes doing :) Hopefully the extras she has recommended will lenghten your LP and you get your BFP this cycle x

My thoughts is that this is a fall back rise. This is really a secondary estrogen surge that can happen in any cycle.

Just finishing work so i haven't checked my temp as yet. O pains have slowed down so its possible i may have O overnight too.

Just wanted to ask i think im going to need antibiotics for this cold i have. I now have fluid in my ears which is affecting my hearing. As im heading into the tww surely there is something safe i can take in these early stages? Just wondering your thoughts. Its just ive been sick so long and im working fulltime next week for 4 weeks and i don't want to deteriorate.

Hi netti sorry to hear your having trouble shaking this virus(?) I would definitely go to the docs and ask for something safe to use during conception just in case and with a month of full time work coming up you need it cleared up fast as possible. Don't worry about taking your temp until you've had a decent sleep as a temp when you walk in the door wont be accurate (I didn't know if you meant you were going to take it when you got home) hope your feeling better soon, rest up, get some abs and fx! 2ww woohoo!

Sorry to hear you're getting worse hun! Not sure on what's best with regards to swaying and ABs but if you need them you need them. Hopefully the cold will lift soon, there are some nasty doses going around now. My YDS is all caught up and has a terrible cough, just waiting on it to sweep through our house with no mercy at all.

Don't worry too much about the 3dpo drop. I have looked at some of my charts (including bfp ones) and almost all seem to have sone sort of drop around 2 to 4dpo.

So BFN this morning at 10dpo, not a hint of a line. AF should be here by Tuesday. I won't be testing again unless she doesn't arrive but my gut tells me I'm out this month. I don't feel too bad, I had a feeling this wasn't our month despite timing being so right. Its only our second cycle anyway. All good things are worth the wait, right!
Had a guilty cheat today - BREAKFAST! A lovely cinnamon roll from Starbucks! Haven't had breakfast in months and months so it was weird but good. Thinking of ways I can tweak our sway for next month, hate the thought of another month on LE but needs must! I've been really strict this cycle for the most part so all good news for next month ;)
Due to O in about 17/18 days lol - plus if we were to get lucky next month I'd be due the week of my 34th birthday. What better present than a daughter :P

I had some very mild cramps today. Took a opk it was negative but there was a line that was stronger than I had around cd10-15 at my previous cycle. Don't know if that means anything but I'm hoping I will O earlier this time. I'm now only cd6. Long wait until o and 2ww.

Thanks, I was thinking it must be a test like that. I normally o round 12-15 but last cycle got +opk cd19. So I have no idea when I will o this time. Thought I'd start using opks already so I wouldn't miss the positive opk. Still wondering if I did o earlier last cycle even though I had +opk at cd19...

Agghh this afternoon I was outside enjoying some fresh air and have been hit with some horrible hayfever! I don't normally get it much anymore but now I'm so itchy and stuffy. Being 4dpo I don't want to take any antihistamines so I just have to tough it out.

Ladies can you help me? I took this when I woke up this morning and it's almost positive. Dh and I dtd yesterday morning. I was thinking we could dtd this evening around 5, tomorrow morning, and tomorrow night before bed. Does that sound right? Or should I not dtd at 5pm and just wait until we go to bed tonight? I was trying to get his sperm to replenish!! Maybe I'm overthinking it.

I'm swaying pink, but we'd be totally shocked if we actually had a girl, after our 2 boys. I'm trying to decide if I should test before AF is supposed to arrive. I had what I think were ovulation pains on the day after I got a +OPK. Never had those pains before. Hoping its a good sign. Maybe more than 1 egg was released?? Lol.

This is my first month trying the clearblue OPK tests. Today i got a flashing smiley. We were releasing every 4 days and hubby released by himself this morning. For a girl when would you dtd.

Is anyone in here able to/willing to start a new 'due in June, July, August 2016' when you get your bfp? Please see the last couple posts in the current one if you're wondering why I'm asking :) it would mean updating your very first post each time a new bfp arrives in the thread but would not take too much time. Asking in case there's no takers in the current thread is all :) no pressure on anyone to say yes. I'm happy to do it if I get a bfp but that's at least a fortnight away if its going to happen :) thanks ladies!!

This is positive right? I figure we'll do tonight before bed, tomorrow morning, and tomorrow evening. Wish we had done it more before the positive opk. I feel like I always read you should have your attempts before its positive and we only had one yesterday morning.

Looks pretty positive to me Quinn. Don't sweat about your attempts not being early enough you've done and are doing great! My ds2 was conceived with a 3 day b4 o, day b4 o and morning of o attempts (had no idea about swaying then, was just trying to get pregnant lol). Just do what you can and know you've done your best - the less stressed you are the better :) have some faith in yourself and your attempts and try thinking 'I've got this covered :)' rather than 'wish I'd done this or that'. Wishing you the very best and blue baby dust heading your way!!

I ended up using the temp after my small sleep yesterday. I think even without regular firdt morning temps its still been possible to track ovulation. Here is a pic of my chart. 2 dpo today. Feeling great apart from sickness 😁

I had two days of implantation spotting! It ranged from brown to dark red. I thought it was pre-AF too, but my tests are getting darker and no more spotting!

Dd 1 was a one hit wonder and dd2 was actually an IUI and we dtd 36 and 24 hours before the IUI so you would think that would sway boy more but I was living a pink lifestyle. I've slipped with my diet so hopefully it was enough this time.
