In cycles passed its usually been CD16 that I get a good spike. Just didn't get that spike this time.

Maybe cd 15 and you have a 2 dpo fallback rise which is quite common. It's a bit confusing though.
Nann3r

I don't even know what all that means! Lol I wouldn't mind cd15 though. That'd put me at 4dpo :p

I have been unnusually warm as of late.. Like seriously sweating over night when normally I'm bundled up.
Tmi but Has anyone had greenish yellow cm in their 2WW? Like similar to the "mucous plug" later in pregnancy? I've never had this before. Hoping it's a good sign. I had it with my first pregnancy but didn't notice till at least 8 weeks pregnant. And i think that time was cuz of a yeast infection.

January 29th, 2016, 12:26 AM
It's just a lower temp on 2dpo, I have had it sometimes but mine is normally above the coverline so not that low.
The other option is that O got delayed slighlty and it is cd17.
Which day do you think it was? I can usually tell as I have strong symptoms like o pain (for me it is a tender uterus area, not specifically a sharp pain like some get) and my nipples get sensitive from O day for a few days. Did you notice your CM changing from Egg white to creamy?
Nann3r
January 29th, 2016, 12:28 AM
It hanged to creamy on CD16 I do recall that. And I felt pains cd15 evening but I couldn't tell if it was from deep intercourse or not. I've never really had my nipples get sore so I didn't notice that.

January 29th, 2016, 12:31 AM
My guess is cd15 then :) Good luck in the TWW!!

Thanks a bunch:) I took a more subtle approach this cycle. No robetussin, bsf only once on first pos opk and it was very little. Used preseed for all the attempts though. Oh and I O'ed after DH this time instead of before. So I'm hoping that helped the swimmers along! (:

Nann - my temps have been all over the place this cycle too. I too would say you probably o'd cd15. Can't help with the cm. Mine is usually white/cream coloured. I can't even remember what it was like in pregnancy either.
Well I continued to feel queasy last night & had to stop exercising early as I felt so nauseous, which has never happened before. I got a bfn with fmu this morning with a frer but at only 9dpo I know it's still early yet. Have had more queasiness today, this morning in particular & had some cramping/twinges for a bit but that only lasted about 20 mins.

Girlie, that CBFM is SO fussy. Who knows what made it go wonky.
tfahn, fx for you! I am also hoping I O earlier this cycle but based on temps I'm thinking CD17 is most likely for me. Late O is beyond frustrating.
Nann, I hate to say it, but unless there is a reason your temps aren't accurate (like you temp orally and mouth breathe) I would guess that you have yet to O. Disregarding temps, CD15-16 seems most likely.

Momamia, a lot of women O 3-5 days after a trigger, sometimes even later (basically, no response), or even don't O at all. It's way more common than most realise. Especially if you don't O on your own or you naturally O late.
For some reason there is a certain group of women that have bodies that only really O when they want to and can't be forced to O sooner even with strong meds. Unfortunately I seem to be in this category too. It is super frustrating, but I believe it's bc our eggs need more time to mature/are resistant to popping prematurely, which is actually a good thing but still annoying!
It is CD14 for me and I have definitely not Oed.

I don't know much except what I read about clomid egg development, which also touched on the trigger a bit. It said that after a trigger the follicle can grow up to 2-3 mm a day. Ideal follicle size @ O is 18+ mm. So, I think you said you started at 8 mm an if so it could take 3-5 days to reach that size. All this considered your follies may just need a bit more time to grow to the best size. Just keep BD'ing (though you might want to do a 1 day break if you have been BD'ing once or more daily for many days... just to give DH time to rebuild those spermies up :) ). O will come :) :fx: you catch the egg!!

It's still super early, two! Plus, it takes time for the hcg to build up in your system. :) Three of my follicles were only 8mm, 1 was 9mm, 1 was 14mm, and the last one was 19mm. I am thinking that only the 19mm and maybe the 14mm released. I don't think the other ones would have gotten to the right size soon enough.
I just got off the phone with a nurse from my RE's office. She said that after the trigger you won't see a temp rise until 3-4 days after the trigger. She said that apparently the rise happens a day or two after you actually ovulate because it takes time for the progesterone to build up enough to increase your temperature. Also, she said I can't take a hpt until 17 days from yesterday. :/ I can definitely say that I'm no where near as bloated or crampy today as I was yesterday. I actually feel sore/tender in my ovaries today (both sides). So, maybe I did ovulate last night and I'll get the temp rise tomorrow. :)

It's hardly been any time and I definitely wouldn't compare tests taken at different time of day , two. I think you will see more progression tonight. Are you using the new curved handle FRERs?
maidentomother
January 29th, 2016, 02:54 PM
Momamia, I have heard that argument many times and it is definitely possible, it does happen on occasion, but the majority of the time when there is no timely temp rise it's bc O hasn't happened (as they discover when they go in for a scan). Most of the time temping works fine, is still accurate, after a trigger. Not trying to be discouraging just want to prevent unnecessary disappointment and false assumptions.

17 DAYS???? HOLY CRAPOLA!!! I'd never make it lol! My ovaries were really sore/irritated for a few days after my O. So, sounds like a good sign of a nice strong O!!
The reason I am worried is not that that they are the same (basically)... at least not alone. I worry because last night's FRER was taken with ZERO hold, guzzling fluids (I am sooooooo thirsty for some reason the last couple days). This AM's was a 6+ hour hold with NO fluids... so I thought there would be a difference. I knew it'd still be faint but I guess I expected a noticable difference but they look identical in person :/ I know it takes time for levels to build, I just thought I'd see a difference between severely diluted urine and concentrated urine... kwim??

Yes, they are the only ones I can get. Every store in my area sells only the curved ones. I always liked the other kind, but I get what I can :/

January 29th, 2016, 03:18 PM
The curved ones basically don't show progression or only very poorly. Please do not read into them at all!
plus time of day can make much more of a difference than the apparent concentration of urine.

Yeah.... maybe I just need to focus on the fact that yesterday's FMU had no line and today's did. I'm just so friggen jumpy. I'll be glad when I get a nice strong line so at least 1 of my concerns will be off the table.

I don't like the curved FRERs either but the old style ones are hard to find. I've found that I get much better/darker lines with the old FR than the new.

Hopefully you did O Momamia and your temp rise is just delayed. I can't imagine waiting 2.5 weeks to test! Gah I'd be clawing at the walls in desperation to POAS! lol

Hugs, Two! I know it is rough when you've had lots of losses. Just stay positive and wait a day to test. That should definitely show progression. :)
Luckily, I have a clomid check appointment on Feb 9th and I know they'll do a blood hcg test. Now I just have to cross my fingers that they don't make me reschedule it!

Yes! FX they don't make you wait... although I wonder if hcg in your system from the trigger is why you can't test. If so, that would make a blood test inaccurate as well unless they do at least 2 tests (to see if it's going up due to preg or not..). Sucks when we have to use fertility meds... they complicate everything lol.

So... I took a leap of faith in an effort to have something to look forward to and not have to just sit and stew while waiting for my tests to darken. I called the OB's office and scheduled my first appt. They tried to schedule me sooner, which I soooooo wanted, but I know myself and told her I needed it to be scheduled when we'd FOR SURE be able to see bean and HB because I know I'll panic if I don't. So, she suggested an appt a week later and said we should be able to see by then. My appt is set for the 17th (US calendar... I know some of the ppl on this board are a day ahead of US). I'm still not sure I'll be able to see everything as I'll be 5 weeks 6 days, but it beats 4 weeks 6 days' odds. My OB might be willing to do a second one if we can't see bean or HB, so I am trying not to worry too much. So if this bean is strong enough to hold on then I'll hopefully get to see my sweet pea in about 19 days.
I also asked for the nurse to call me back. I am going to request that she talk to my OB about possibly keeping an eye on my HCG levels in the meantime so I will (hopefully) be able to know bean is doing okay by watching my levels rise adequately, which would going a long way to comfort me. Plus I need to ask about prog. I was on it my last 2 pregs so I don't know if he'll put me back on right off or if he'll test my levels first. Kinda hoping he'll test first so I may not have to take it, but I'll do ANYTHING to get bean here safe and healthy. I'll post an update after she calls.

That'd be nice, but don't know that'd I trust it. With my first my levels were tripling EOD instead of doubling. My doc was convinced I could be having multiples until u/s ruled it out :) FX you are right. He knows what I've lost. He has been my OB all 3 times so I am hoping he takes pity on me. Kmom, did the test have a line before you took it apart? Those blue dye tests can give false positives, do you have a sensitive pink dye test you can use?
maidentomother
January 29th, 2016, 05:26 PM
Kmom, I've seen a faint line on a similar blue dye test despite being absolutely for sure not pregnant so unfortunately I really would not get excited. Hopefully though you ARE pregnant. Did you test with any other brand HPT using the same urine?
IMO there is no such thing as a generic FRER in the sense that the original FRERs are unparalleled and no other HPTs sold in stores are remotely comparable in sensitivity, accuracy snd reliability.

As for me... I will not test.. I will not test. I'm using all my will power not to test at 10dpo. Last month I had AF cramps now but today its more just a bit achey. Although I normally get AF cramps 11 or 12dpo so not reading too much into it.

Definitely a trend for me. My first pregnancy was my only real outlier, conceived in late October/early November.

Pinkin - fx you get a bfp over the next couple of days. 10dpo is early especially with a long lp.
I got a bfn this morning using smu ( had to be up early & get girls to an early morning karate training so didn't have time to use fmu). Not feeling very confident, temps dropped slightly the last 2 days, no where near cover line though. Still feeling queasy at times, creamy cm (yesterday felt very wet down there), heartburn last night which I rarely get except when preg. Cramps last night & today, which I never get before AF except for my chemical last month. Really trying hard not to read too much into it.

Wow Two!!! That is amazing. I wonder if it is twins. Did you release multiple follies?
I'm too scared to do progression tests although I tested with an IC this morning and the line was slightly darker. Those tests are so unreliable it doesn't stress me but if I did a FRER and it wasn't darker I would stress.
I'm thinking about testing after work today as my pee is normally more concentrated if I do a hold in the arvo than with FMU.

I didn't do a follicle study this cycle so I can't be sure but I had what I can only guess was IB the same day I got a BFP. Also I had some serious pain on both side around O and serious cramping on one side around 5 DPO and on the other on 7-8 DPO around when I had the IB (which I have never had before)... so it's *possible* but I don't know...
Only you can decide on the testing but I will say I didn't see much diff by memory. I have to keep the tests and compare them once dry. My memory will fool me every time. Just something to keep in mind.

That is exactly how it was with me! If I'd been wearing a dif color undies or hadn't saw something on my BRAND NEW undies I would have prob passed it off as a stain from a previous AF mishap or not noticed it at all! I would have been sooo easy to miss!

Lol, I want to DOWN grade lol. We have this massive tank they call a van lol. I hate it. Not vans in general, but this one. It's so hard to fix and super pricey to have someone else do it. I want to either get a car or another van that is a chevy or something domestic. The one I have now is a Nissan which I am told is a foreign brand and notoriously hard to work on. Hubby KNOWS chevys so I think I'll try to stay in that lane when we trade it in and get a new one.
I think I am going to move over to the EED thread too. After my bloodwork I feel a modicum of security in this preg so I am going to take the leap lol. See you over there!!

What vehicles exactly do you both have? I really need a new car but I hate how modern cars look and my back as well as my driveway already limit my acceptable options significantly. I would love a Tesla electric but their SUV model isn't out yet and their sedan is not a viable option. So most likely I will get a manual, diesel, tricked out SKODA Yeti and get a lot of custom after work done; some is needed no matter what vehicle I get bc of my back. If they made a manual Mercedes G Class or one that had even remotely acceptable gas mileage (their most efficient option is still one of the worst fuel guzzlers in existence) I'd already have bought one years ago. It is my favourite!

We have two vehicles. DH just got a quad cab truck that seats 6 (that was a shock, lol, trucks are usually limited on seating) and mine is a Nissan Quest. Extremely roomy and pretty to look at but a nightmare if anything needs to be done... like say a tune up (but you don't have to do those a couple times a year or anything *rolls eyes*.

Maiden, we have a Mazda 6 wagon which is an upgrade from our last car which was a hatchback. I am slightly concerned we won't be able to fit 3 car seats in the back but I might just have to get new seats which is cheaper than a new car. Legally DS1 can ride in the car without a booster now he is 7 but I prefer him to be in one as it is safer.
