So my temp dropped again today but I'm not sure how accurate my temp was. My throat was really scratchy last night and so I had a cough drop in my mouth when I took my temp. Also, yesterday ds1 woke me up right before I was supposed to temp. So I was up and moving around before I took it. I'm 6dpo. Do you think it's an implantation dip? I'm trying to be hopeful but it is really hard.

That is hardly a worrisome drop, I was expecting something dramatic! That looks like a totally normal fluctuation well within your post temp range and well above cover line. Most likely it is a secondary estrogen surge and/or due to the cough drop.

I got a kitten 3 months ago, she's 6mo now, and my older cat (6y, I've had her 3y, got her at shelter) is grouchy to begin with and sooo unhappy about the kitten. The kitten is very sweet, and just wants to play but Fenja growls and hisses at her very aggressively. Last night it was non stop so I basically didn't sleep at all. My older cat also has a really sensitive tummy and threw up her expensive food TWICE, right next to my bed and on one slipper! I guess it's all good practice for having kids?

I think it looks normal momamia. I was just looking at my chart from the month I got pregnant with DD and that is exactly how my 4-6 dpo temps looked so I wouldn't worry at this point.

I hear you on the cats maiden, I have one that likes to bellow/talk in the early morning hours, it drives my husband crazy! He told me if I get rid of the cat I could get another dog, lol. I of course won't be getting rid of the cat even though I would like another dog, and the cat is only 6-7 so he will have deal with it for a long time to come.

Maybe get another kitten to play with the 6mo old since the older one won't play with her? But I am sure that would just piss off the older one even more though.

Momamia, the lower temp could be from those things you mentioned but it could also be an implantation dip. I know with my last three pregnancies, I always had a dip at 6dpo then a nice rise at 7dpo. I have my FX that it's a good sign for you!!

Nann, I don't think I see anything but the dye hasn't cleared so it's hard to see. Is that the only pic you have?

Maide I really hope the flat temps are a positive sign. I've never had temps like that in the TWW before. So I'm 9dpo today and took a couple of cheapie tests this morning. I think I see faint lines on both but I feel like I'm just going crazy. lol I'm not getting my hopes up yet until I see blaring pink lines. I took a FR which was neg. but it wasn't with FMU because I'd already dumped out my cup thinking I wouldn't see anything on the cheapie tests. Do you ladies see anything or am I going mad? :shrug:

Ksmom, I definitely see a very faint line!!! :) A frer will definitely show a dark line sooner than the cheapies.

Thanks ladies! So I guess I'm not completely crazy then. LOL I don't have any FR tests left to take so I guess I need to buy another box of them. Don't think I'll use it though until tomorrow morning so I can test with FMU. I'm scared the test is going to be negative in the morning. :/

Maybe whoever predicted BFPs all around will be right (excluding me but I don't count)! IIRC, more babies are born in October/conceived in January than any other month, at least in the Norhern Hemisphere.

I'm kicking myself bc the kitten, Whiskey, had a sweet little calico sister (only 2 in the litter; momma cat lived with 16 other cats, is inbred, and none of the cats get enough to eat, so a pink sway in action). I really wish I'd taken her too and I think things would be better now if I had. But at the time I only had one cat carrier (it was somewhat of a spur of the moment decision) and I've never had more than 1 cat at a time and I didn't want to overwhelm Fenja. But I ended up keeping the kitten separated for about a month, which was hard on the kitten who really would have benefitted from a playmate. Now that Fenja is kinda semi used to Whiskey I dare not bring another cat in, at least not until Fenja fully accepts Whiskey. I'm afraid the other cats would gang up on Fenja.

If I could turn back time I would have at least tried it with 2 kittens. Especially since I realised Whiskey had been practically starved (doubyless her sister was too). She is the half the size she should be despite eating 2x what Fenja eats, and still eats like she is ravenous. :(

Actually yes I was using one step but forgot I switched to my old ones and they're surepredict.

I have heard that about male embryos too. That's like my final saving grace for hope at this point lol. I've had subtle cramps since 9dpo. Tinges kind of in my right side of my abdomen. Dunno if it has anything to do with anything or I'm just paranoid. Well see I suppose. Not holding my breath lol

Maiden, We have a English Springer Spaniel and the yowler is around 6-7.

At one point we had 3 cats but they have all since passed, the first 2 were brothers (we named them Jake and Elwood, after the Blue Brothers movie.) they were cute growing up together. Then a few years after getting them my husband found a wounded kitten (he used to feed the farm cats near his work), its back leg was injured and became infectious so the vet said either amputate the leg or they would have to put her down. So that is how we ended up with 3 cats at once and one with only 3 legs. She also had a parasite which was cured right away but I think that stunted her growth. She never got over 7 pounds and could eat the other 2 cats under the table, we had her for 15 years and she just passed last year. After the last blue brothers passed a few years ago is when I adopted the yowler she could of cared less about the 3 legged cat but really adores our dog, they are cute together.

Wow, thanks ladies for the information on the continuous exercise, this swaying process is so complicated! I am not sure I can do the 1 hr continuous exercise everyday but am not sure I could do the no exercise either. How do ladies that are swaying long term do 1 hr of exercise every day? Wonder if I did a work out video for 60 mins would that work? If I had some home gym equipment I probably work it in but trying to get that organised before March unlikely. Part of me thinks I will go hard on the diet and exercise the way I am, I exercised walked twice a day (not for an hour) when I conceived my DD so maybe it would work again? I am kind of feelings that my chances of swaying are unlikely and maybe I should just accept that it will be another boy .

Quick question and chasing opinions please. I started le diet and cardio 7 days ago after a 2-3 month complete break from diet (still skipped brekky) - never did cardio previously. Had been on diet prior to that for most the year. Today is my first day off cardio (doing 6 x week, 60 mins moderate - brisk walk on treadmill plus take another 5 minutes or so for cool down). My attempts are coming up next week - I expect a pos opk sometime between Wednesday - Friday. Question is although I'm not swaying big time and just want to get pregnant will the exercise for such a short period (10-12 days) actually sway blue? Should I drop it? I obviously just want to get pregnant but I'd still like to remove whatever blue tactics I can. I'm going to be bding every 3 days with an additional attempt at pos opk if it falls in an in between day. Does short term cardio lean towards blue friendly territory? Feeling really hopeful this cycle :)

Wish I could answer you questions but since having to do Ivf and therefore no say in what I get no matter what i do I haven't been looking into any swaying technics.

It's weird to think I have 2 frosties ready to go that have grown 5 days been frozen and now they are what they are I wonder what they are boy or girl.....nothing I do now can change it.

10dpo Took a FR this morning (found the old style one) and its negative. Cheapie test is neg. too. :( I think I must have gotten a bad batch or something. Next cycle I'm only using FR. I had a low grade fever last night and woke up sweating, feeling hot so I thought it was a good sign but I guess not. I figured we'd be going onto our next cycle of trying.

I had a teeny tiny temp rise today. I wish it was a better rise. I'm definitely exhausted today. I feel like I didn't even sleep last night. My right ovary area has been annoying today. It feels kind of crampy. I'm thinking that I should be able to believe any bfps starting in 2 days. That will be 11 days past my trigger. I read that the trigger has a 23 hour half life, so it should be out of my system by then. I hope my hpts start getting darker!! :)

Yeah same as the line before this one. I see it. I'm just not convinced it's the line I want. I took this pic within 10mins to make sure there was no mistake. But even if it was a positive, it should be getting darker. AF is due tomorrow. So I'll just wait it out.

Momamia, when I had my miscarriage last month I had multiple HCG blood tests and it seemed to me that the numbers decreased half every 2 days:

1/6 154.5
1/8 78.8
1/12 21.3
1/18 1.9

So maybe that is why your tests aren't decreasing in line strength daily

Hi ladies. Just joining the 2ww. I had my IUI yesterday with 24 and 25 mm follicle which I'm convinced are too big but my RE says its normal with clomid. I'm pretty nervous about it. We had lots of attempts before and after so the only issue would be egg quality. Dh had a great sample post wash so it's all on me now!

Ksmom I'm sorry but to me it looks like ff is right. Alcohol can make your temp spike but looking at overall picture I still think you likely oed cd19. I see the previous cycle you oed 2 days after peak on opk? Was that a one off or has it occurred a few times?

Nann do you know the sensitivity of those tests? It was 2xblue in dec 2ww I was thinking of. She had 25mui tests and started getting the faintest of lines at around 12-14dpo. At 16/17 dpo still faint but getting darker. She's currently in the ddg :) So it is still possible for your bfp. With af due Saturday you should surely have answers soon I hope. I can remember how frustrating it was for 2xblue when af didn't arrive but her tests weren't confirming bfp either...

I have a question, my ovulation was late this month by two days and had 2 surges so totally messed me up and my BD schedule.

We BD 3 days before ovulation, Which was CD 13 and with my opks I thought I would ovulated the following day but no! So DH wanted to have sex following day in CD 15. I then figure okay no temp rise again maybe tmrw so if he wants to whatever but told him to pull which he did.

Next morning on CD 16 no temp rise! I was pissed lol and my opk and digital opk were the darkest ever control line so faint.
So we DTD which would be either every 3 days

For where atomic advised me to do.
But the day before when we dtd but pull out does that count as an attempt?

Ksmom I'm sorry but to me it looks like ff is right. Alcohol can make your temp spike but looking at overall picture I still think you likely oed cd19. I see the previous cycle you oed 2 days after peak on opk? Was that a one off or has it occurred a few times?

I normally O two days after peak but it has happened the day after. I think you're right that I O'ed cd19 especially since I had O pains that morning then felt nothing the rest of the day, plus my OPK had gone neg. by then. It's just hard to accept that I'll likely be headed into another cycle of trying.

I've always read 18-22 is good so I would think that sounds perfect. It will grow to 20-21 by O day. When I got pregnant with dd2, my follicles were closer to your size. I think that's why I'm so nervous.

It's anywhere from 13-15 days, usually 15. I know there's still a chance, it's just that I've always gotten a BFP by 10dpo (except with DS1 but I didn't bother testing early).

What dpo are you now or what will you be on Tuesday? That's strange that they would wait until 17 dpo. Mine does 15 dpo, I'm guessing because the average lp is 14 days. Mine is usually 11 days but was 13 last month after my cp.

I am 8dpo today. I will be continuing to test everyday but I will start to look a little closer starting tomorrow. Tomorrow I will be 11 days past my trigger, so it should technically be out of my system. At 11dpo, I go in to see my RE for a clomid check and FX he does a hcg test. tfahn, thank you for sharing about your pets. I'm sorry for the recent losses. :( it's incredible you adopted a 3 legged cat, and how cute that she likes the dog! My prior cat was like that, liked dogs but not other cats. My older cat Fenja has a lot of pain and restricted movement (can't jump very high) due to past major injuries. Apparently she was a mess when the shelter found her. Hard to believe bc for all her (now totally justifiable grouchiness), she is the BEST cat I've ever had. She is super well-trained, very intelligent, doesn't mess with things, amazing hunter eho eats her kills, and loves to snuggle for hours. She'll spend 3/4 of a day lying/sleeping on top of me. She loves sitting up on my chest right near my face and putting a paw on my chin gently. And she crackle purrs like a fire, very loud!

Whiskey peed on my (incredibly expensive) custom mattress last night (she peed on it multiple times right after i first got her) and I flipped the fuck out. I don't understand how in the 1 minute she was in my room, still don't know HOW she got in, she had to go THERE to pee. I laid down right in the puddle (where my middle back rests so my hair and shirt got soaked) before i realised. I'm still treating my back up mattress that she peed on, so I'm on a rock hard one now that KILLS my back. Oh and I don't have a clean top sheet that isn't being treated for cat urine or in the wash. Soooo upset and in so much pain. WHY oh why do cats have to pee on BEDS?! :(

Gagirl your chart looks very promising! I don't believe in implantation dips but I do think dips during the LP, which are generally caused by secondary estrogen surges, can be a good sign. A high cervix is a GREAT sign.

Quinn, I don't think that's too big of a follicle. Fx the Clomid & IUI get you your BFP this cycle! Btw, if your LP is usually 11 days but was 13 last cycle, I bet you Oed 2 days later than you think.

Princess, pulling out does not count as an attempt. If you BDed on CD13 and CD16 and Oed on CD16 (am I getting that right? ) then it is pretty unlikely that the later attempt was in time. Most likely you would conceive only from the O-3 attempt so pink friendly IMO. Can you post your chart?

Nann & Pbn3, SurePredicts are very sensitive, they claim 10miu and are almost as good as the old FRERs. I see the same faint line on your latest test, Nann.

As for me, I had a temp rise today at 5dpo, despite sleeping without any covering. So far my post O temps are looking very normal for me, which makes sense since it's still so early. 10 days until I plan to test, I hope AF stays away.

Hi cmiller, sorry about AF. How many cycles have you been TTC? Exactly how long have you been on the diet? Doing it vegetarian style? How many daily cals total on average? What supps beyond folate/folic acid are you taking? Are you just doing one attempt at positive OPK? Anything else you are doing to sway? List everything and we can maybe see if you're using tactics that inhibit conception. I assume your cycles are regular; are you charting (temping) to confirm that your attempts in past cycles have been well timed? How early was your AF this month? Could you have Oed earlier than you think? What's your BMI and how long has your weight been stable?

I am 5"4 normlt 105-107 ! I have been hovering at 100 for the last three months! I started the diet in late October! Yes vegetarian! I got the plan from atomic! I am not eating breakfast lunch after 11! No breakfast cereal, no meat occasional shrimp when we go out, no chocolate, drinking aspartame , I was really strict first month but lost two much so now I'm not counting protein day etc, just eating healthy around 1800 calories a day I'd guess! Lots of veggies! I attempted at end of nov, dec, and now January! Atomic said to do one attempt but this month I did two! I have been using the expensive ovulation sticks w the smiley face! I think one month I missed my I because u never got a pos! This month it came late we had attempted Sunday- then Monday morning and got my pos that afternoon? Do you think our attempt was too soon? Maybe my pos o showed up but I didn't actually ovulate for 48 hours? I read its better to attempt two days before so I thought we still had a good chance:( plus I had horrible headaches this week so got my hopes up! I am taking per atomic folic acid, saw palmento, and chaste berry and fiber! also doing refresh and acid gel but did not use this time as thought that might be why I wasn't getting preggo but still it did not work! Sorry for typos my head is faster then fingers:)

I had a tiny amount of red spotting on 10dpo and then in 13dpo I had some brownish CM.

I get spotting before AF too but this was less.

Nothing yet. I have subtle cramps still. This morning I had a tiniest bit of pink. And then brownish. And now nothing. It's weird I feel like I did when I thought for sure AF was gonna come before DD.

With DD We just pulled the goalie and waited. So once I realized I was exactly a week late, I tested. But I remember that whole week thinking for sure AF was gonna come cuz I had the light cramps. But obviously she never came then. This feels similar. Again I'm not holding my breath for a bfp.. Lol. But can't say I'm disappointed that AF isn't here! I keep going to the bathroom to check. Well just had small red blood cloth what in world im only 8dpo!!
I don't ever have any issues like this! I'm really thinking it was due to my chemical last cycle. After the blood cloth I had red few times while wiping.
It was brown yesterday and then none till now, I'm so confused. I will text in morning just to get it out of my system and move on to next cycle.

Maybe I'm better off this cycle a total mess up due to the chemical.
I'm so sad right now, I always get pregnant quickly so will see.
Might have to reschedule my ultrasound for a few days earlier if this is af then I will ovulate earlier.

I honestly just don't want to spot again next cycle this was a total pain!

Princess mom -My cycle was a bit crazy after my chemical too. No spotting but temps were a bit crazy, o was later than normal & the day AF arrived I had cramping & I haven't had AF cramping for a long time & if I do it starts after AF has. Also I had brown spotting, then nothing for a few hours then AF started. Normally once AF starts it just continues, doesn't stop & start again.

So today I am 9dpo and since a few hours ago, cm turn thick gooey and dark brown! This cycle has been wacky I blame my chemical I had a few weeks ago. Took a test and its bfn temp drop from 98.40 to 98.15. Isn't this way too early for af. So annoying hoping next cycle this spotting doesn't happen, I do see my doc again after af ends to do an us ultrasound to make sure everything is okay. Very scary just pure brown sorry if tmi

Gagirl, I totally see that line on the Wondfo, but I wouldn't trust that blue dye test bc I've seen it give lots of false positives. I still think you're pregnant based on the Wondgo though! Go get a FRER!

Lauren, I definitely think today's high temp is from the alcohol and late night. I would actually discard that temp. How are you tolerating the Clomid?

I'm just waiting. 6dpo and so much creamy CM I thought AF had started at one point, it was such a gush.

My last dose was yesterday and I honestly haven't felt any different the entire time. It makes me feel like maybe it didn't work? I don't know. Zero symptoms. I guess I'll start using OPK tomorrow

Sorry, Princess Mom. I cried today after getting my bfn. I really hoped it would be darker. Now I'm not feeling hopeful at all. I had af-like cramps when I woke up this morning and had another temp drop. I just don't think it's going to happen for me. DH felt really bad and said we could try again but I don't know if I can do this again. It's been almost a year since I got my tubes untied and I really thought I'd be pregnant by now. I guess it just isn't meant to be. [emoji24]

Thank you, maiden! :) I have been ttc for 10 cycles. I had a miscarriage in early September at 8 weeks from a bfp in my July cycle. Yes, I conceived my boys very quickly. I didn't even try for the first 3, I was actually preventing when I got pregnant with them. Ds4 took 3 tries.

I think I am going to get an hsg to check if my tubes are still open. I haven't done one yet and since it's been almost a year, I think my RE would go for it. I honestly don't think my right tube is open. I know I conceived from my left ovary in July but my tube could have closed since then. I've read good things about hsgs and bfps. Maybe it'll help? I just don't know if I have any more oomph to keep trying. It's so disheartening to keep getting bfns, especially when I know I am ovulating. It makes me feel like my body is a traitor. I'm just so sad and mad and frustrated.

Princess 10dpo was too early for me. I didn't bother testing at 11 either, but it was positive in the afternoon on 12dpo. I am still so nervous. But there is still time so you are not out.

Momamia hugs to you. We are over a year ttc, it is so emotional and frustrating at times I know.

Yes, my temps show a clear O date. I had a trigger shot this cycle too. My temps from 6-8dpo were weird. My thermometer was acting weird and kept showing me the same temp, so I retemped those days and decided not to include them because of that.

I'd definitely try for an HSG, Momamia. I am worried about my right ovary/tube (and I basically never O from the left off fertility meds) so if I don't get a BFP soon I will have one done too. This is my 11th cycle TTC 'actively' & swaying, so I understand. If the HSG is a no go, maybe Femara + injectables to stimulate your left ovary? I have seen that work for many.

Princess Mom I'd ask Atomic about it. Spotting is more likely the cause of the anemia rather than the other way around. I will say that I was having signs of low iron when I started feeling tired all the time and would get lightheaded easily. Atomic had me start on iron and that has seemed to help with those symptoms.

Lauren I'd do E3D especially since you're on clomid. How long have you been swaying? I was doing E4D but had I stuck with that this cycle I would have ended up with just an O-3 attempt which isn't great. Atomic or Maiden will be able to help you out on this.

Only you can answer that :(. After a year of swaying I would think its time to drop some things though before you get to the stage where you drop everything just to get pregnant - that would be a waste of your dedication to swaying. Have you tried asking atomic her thoughts? Me personally I'd go with e3d but again you may want to try e4d first. You only have so many cycles on clomid which is a good pink tactic in itself.

Yup! You keep it up until after the latest day that you've ever ovulated. That way all of your bases are covered. It's supposed to relieve stress of worrying about when you ovulated.

Yes, the bding is accurate. DH has a super high sperm count (200 million on the 3rd straight day of ejaculating when he had his SA with 97% motility), so I didn't see anything wrong with frequent bding before O. That's how I got pregnant in July and with all of my boys. We used to dtd like rabbits when we were younger. Now... Not so much, lol!

I had a teeny tiny temp rise which has given me a shred of hope for this cycle but I am pretty confident it's going to end with af. These cramps are annoying.

No worries :) just a tiny suggestion in case there's a next cycle? Maybe try bding to e2d with no worries about throwing in an extra bd at pos opk if it falls on in between day. This should help give you optimal chance of bfp (gives dh swimmers 48 hours to recover and replenish between bd's) which I really really hope you'll actually get this cycle but just in case :) something to think about?

I just got home from my appointment with my RE. He is going to do the hsg and gave me another Rx for a higher dose of clomid. He also said he wants to do the trigger shot again. I guess I'll give it one more shot, assuming my tubes are actually open. I have to call and schedule the hsg on cd1. FX I get a late bfp and don't have to deal with this anymore!! :)

11dpo bfn this cycle was juat awful, onto next cycle, I was actually looking over my old post on fourms I used to be on since ttc my first back in 2006, weeks after a miscarriage I actually did spot a lot between cycle, but this time just seem more. Maybe from chemical and birth control pills.

I honestly have a good feeling about next cycle, my due date will be
