Should I be testing OPK more than once a day? I saw in another forum that people do multiple times a day and I've never done more than once. I always figured I would get a positive still and that you have 24 hrs to be within the surge. Is that wrong?

Yes I do! Best time is around 1-2pm then maybe try again around 7-8?

I use cheapies. I was doing digis but I switched back because we've been ttc so long.

Lauren, Clomid keeps your temp up so many women see a drop in temp within a few days after their last dose. I did.
LH surges can be really short, sometimes just a few hours, so if you aren't testing at exactly the right time then you could potentially miss it. My surge was really brief this cycle and I did kinda miss it, in that I never got a positive OPK. I only had a few OPKs left so I couldn't test as often as I liked. I'd recommend testing 3x a day when you get close to when you expect to surge or your OPKs look close to turning positive, whichever occurs first. So at the latest CD12 for you, once a day in the early to mid afternoon should be okay up until then unless your OPKs look close to positive.

Of both of today's shortly and see what ya think. I don't want to miss it. Although, every single previous cycle I have gotten dark dark positives for over a week at a time. It's very odd.

I have a very short surge, so I always test twice a day. I've always caught my surge at night before bed.

Oh and what exact brand of cheapies? It can make a difference. Was it the cheapies you got a week of positives on?

Congrats gagirl! I missed so many posts, I just can't keep up. Momamia did the dr do a pregnancy test?
I went in for my progesterone test and it was much higher than last month. It was 16 in January and 32 today so I'm hoping that means I O'd both follicles and they were good. I did see a tiny but if red cm when I wiped so that made me nervous because I'm only 5dpo so I know it couldn't be ib.

Lauren, I opk test twice a day when it gets close to my normal O time. I usually O on CD13 or CD15 and start opk testing on CD10. If it's super negative then I'll only test once a day (CD10), but usually by CD11 it's getting darker so I switch to twice a day (~1-2pm) and again before bed (~10pm-midnight). I test till my opk goes negative, because that is usually the day I O (except for this cycle LOL)! I used to get 5+ days of +opks with the Wondfo brand because they seemed to be overly sensitive. I switched to the Babi brand of cheapies and now I get 2 days of +opks and on day 3 it goes negative. Much better!

I am currently waiting on af (today is cd 30), I am sure she's on her way. I am having NO pregnancy or even progesterone symptoms anymore except for vivid dreaming. I have already started brownish-red spotting which always preludes my period. I wish it would just come on already so I can move onto the next cycle. Sigh.

If I look at my post O temp pattern on my chart overlay comparing this cycle to my first pregnancy it looks really similar. Gives me some hope.

Hi ladies! I've been stalking this board rooting you all on and hoping to see some more BFPs soon. :)
Unfortunately things are not looking good for me. I've been taking a FR test daily and the lines have stayed the same. When I had my losses in Oct. and Dec., the lines got significantly lighter at 4w1d which is what I am today. When I took a test this morning, I could barely see the line at all. :( This is my groundhog day. I expect to start bleeding tomorrow since both times I started bleeding at 4w2d. I won't be swaying anymore because at this point, I just want a healthy baby. I have no chance at having a daughter or any baby for that matter if I can't even stay pregnant for more than a hot second. I'll be making an appointment with the doctor to see if there's something going on because I feel like even though my losses are very early, something must be wrong.

Thank you. I'm 15dpo today. I made sure to not have too many liquids before bed and my FMU was actually darker this morning than it normally is so I think my hcg levels really are dropping. The lines on my tests looked pretty much the same from my first BFP at 11dpo to 13dpo. I know that's still early but I expected some kind of progression. Yesterday the line was a bit lighter and today there's barely a line at all (it doesn't even show up in pics). I haven't even been able to get a digital to register positive, even the CB one that detects 25miu. What's weird though is I'm still having symptoms and my temp is still up. I don't really have any hope though. Frankly it would be a freakin' miracle if I'm not losing this pregnancy.

Laurenk, do not use that brand OPKs! They give tons of false positives and are very unreliable. FR and Dollar Store make good OPKs but Wondfos from amazon are the best.

I'm finally 1dpo! For some odd reason I O'd late this cycle. Average has always been on CD15 for me, but the last few months have been CD13 and even CD12. This time I didn't O till CD17!
DH and I are doing a "7 day sex challenge" because we rarely ever dtd more than once or twice in a row. We are actually on day 5 today so I'm really really hoping there was some sperm leftover in his precum (sorry tmi) in the 4 dtds we had in a row. As most of you know DH is pulling out so I'm always hoping that one lone sperm gets through. I used an inch of Preseed every time as well. Wish me luck! I actually had O pains on both sides this time which is cool. Usually it's always on the right side with the left side only having O pain once a year or less than that.

Ha, I don't think that will ever happen! I think the last time we DTD twice in the same day was like when we met 13 years ago when we were 20 and 21 LOL!!! 2 days before O he did pull out and orgasm and then went back in for me to finish, so hopefully that helps too.

That does sound promising! I'd try to get him to BD back to back if at all possible, bc from what I've read that would give you the best chance. It kills me that you're swaying for so long just waiting and hoping for DH to slip up or some sperm to get through. I can't imagine your frustration. And your loss makes it tragic. :(

BFN again this morning at 10 DPO on a IC and FRER but I did have a temp dip. If it was like me last pregnancy I got a squinter the day after my dip, so holding out hope that tomorrow's test shows something.

Ksmom I'm so sorry. I've had two chemicals and they really are heartbreaking. It's not fair. I hope you have something like wine or a trash magazine to read.
I love a 7 day sex challenge!! I should see if dh wants to try it. We usually can barely make it to bed without falling asleep but one week would be nice.
I'm 7dpo and nothing. I had a tiny amount of red cm on 5dpo which I googled endlessly. It could be a bfp, eptopic, or nothing at all. So I'm still going to be waiting and trying not to freak out. I'm really hoping my progesterone being twice what it was last month is a good sign.

13dpo and another bfn. My spotting is starting to increase. I wouldn't be surprised if I start full blown af any second. :(

Ladies I have a question. With three chemical pregnancies in a row now, should I see an OB-Gyn or jump straight to an RE? I've never had issues in the past and am able to get pregnant easily but for whatever reason I can't seem to stay pregnant. I just don't know why this is suddenly an issue. This can't be normal.

So...... my spotting is stopping???? I'm so confused. This cycle has me completely bamboozled. It's totally not typical. I don't understand why my temp didn't drop today? We're going on vacation this weekend, so I don't know what kind of internet access I'll have. I'm not planning on bringing any hpts with me though. I'll just wait and see what happens. I am assuming that af will be here at any time but again, it's really weird. The spotting isn't my usual spotting either. It's true spotting, only there when I wipe. Normally, my spotting is much heavier and more like a light period where I have to wear a panty liner. I've also been having some weird twinges on my right side which feels more like a burning sensation. I think it's because I don't have a lot of feeling in that area since I had my tubal, so my brain is registering it as burning. Idk. It's weird. I'm trying not to get my hopes up and thinking at best it's a chemical pregnancy.

So I just rechecked my test from this morning..... The only problem is that this line was only a faint shadow of a line during the proper time frame. This is after it has dried.

I think it is thin too. Unfortunately, I have zero time to go get a frer so I won't know until Tuesday at the earliest (via tests anyway). Obviously if my period doesn't start, I'll have a pretty good idea. But I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

ksmom, I agree with Momamia, I'd go straight to an RE. Maybe all you need is some Clomid/Femara. That's what I'd try first.
Momamia, I see that line and I'm kinda excited for you! But I think a break from testing etc can't hurt. Either way you should have a good idea what's going on next week when you get your beta results.

Eeeek Momamia I see a line there! :D I think it may actually be positive!! That happened to me this cycle. When I took a FRER the day before my BFP there wasn't anything within the time frame but after it dried, a second line appeared. I really hope this is the start of a BFP for you! FXFX
Thank you ladies for your input. :) I'm going to look into REs in my area and see what there is. I'm hoping it's a simple fix like Clomid as Maiden said. DH is eager to get himself checked out as well.

Ksmom my OB referred me to my RE and gave us a free consultation coupon. It's worth a try to ask them. We saved a couple hundred dollars that way.

I'm on CD 11 also farmgirl :-) FF says I'll O on CD 14... last month was CD 15 but a couple cycles ago it was CD 12. My cm is watery, hasn't gotten to ewcm yet... haven't gotten a positive opk yet but I don't bank on those as I usually miss my surge :-/ I'm feeling very crampy but this is my second clomid cycle and last cycle my cramps started a whole 5 days before I actually O'd. Normally it's only the day before and of O.
I'm thinking our attempt will be on Saturday CD 13 :-)

Mommamia, that looks totally positive to me. You wouldn't get an Evap line that clear. I would call that an absolutely def positive. I've never seen an Evap line that dark. Yay for you!

So I just rechecked my test from this morning..... The only problem is that this line was only a faint shadow of a line during the proper time frame. This is after it has dried.

Kmom I'm so sorry you're dealing with this now for the third time.. I really hope the doc has answers for you. And I don't blame you for discontinuing your swaying. I've slowly let up on my sway 1 tactic at a time every cycle ttc that ends in a bfn. I'm pretty much down to not swaying at all at this point and just crossing my fingers really. /: praying for you!

Momamia that is strange to spot for a while then stop! But your test looks REALLY promising! I agree with Bella! It's VERY dark for an evap and it actually has good color as well! How fun to get a surprise bfp! Fx it gets darker now! :D
Good luck to everyone else who is waiting to attempt or waiting to test! I JUST finished AF today at CD6. So we are going to try EOD from here till our next AF if my body can keep up with it! I've also started taking soy Isoflavones. I've had people swear by it and recommend it CD5-9 and then I've had people say it won't help but rather screw up my cycle. I'm just going for it. I don't really have anything to lose at this point cuz I'll just keep trying it it doesn't work ya know? Especially since I'm going EOD, even if it throws O off, I'll still get an attempt in really. I suppose you could call this cycle a Hail Mary for me haha :)

Sadly a big temp drop for me this morning, so I think I am out this month :( I really thought with the HSG in December and the miscarriage last month that I would get a BFP this month but I guess not. Will go back on Clomid next cycle in hopes that it will help, not giving up yet but tired of getting down every month.

Started bleeding a bit last night and now it's full blown AF this morning. :( Been trying my best to not think about what's happening to me otherwise I'd be inconsolable. I need to keep it together for my boys' sake. I feel relieved to be done with swaying but at the same time I'm sad because it almost feels like I wasted all those months on diet/exercise for nothing. We'll be taking a break from TTC until we can figure out what's going on.

As someone who struggled to get pregnant and had a miscarriage along the way, I want you lovely ladies to not lose hope. I know it's hard when everyone seems to get pregnant with ease, or you reach your would be due date with no baby to hold. It's heart breaking. But I want to tell you that you WILL get pregnant. For some reason it takes a little while for our baby to join us. I like to think he/she is up in heaven waiting for the perfect egg that will give them the best life possible. Know that I'm praying for all of you. Just don't lose hope, because at the end of the day that is all we are left with. Huge hugs!

I have reached a place of peace. I won't be trying for a fourth child. After much reflection, I realized I was trying to force it to happen. Nothing good in life comes from force. I realized that faced with the prospect that my child bearing years may be over, I panicked. Now that I've calmed down, I want to enjoy my beautiful boys and be fully present with them. SN- I am also forever changed by the LE diet! I can't go back to my old ways! While nursing such a small baby, I do have to have a small snack between lunch and dinner, but I do not eat like I used to! I can't even stomach eating more than 1.5 oz of poultry, and red meat makes me vomit! Crazy!

XX, I know what you mean about being changed by the LE diet. I'm normally the type that snacks all day long but I've found that my body has gotten so used to me just eating lunch and dinner that it's hard to go back to my old normal. I've also found that I tend to make "LE friendly" food choices because it's practically ingrained into me now.

ksmom - I do believe that acupuncture got my body back to "normal" and after two losses. Of course with 3 it is good to see a specialist but if you are able to see an acupuncturist I would highly recommend it.

Well I guess I'm CD1 as of lunchtime today, 2 days early which makes my LP only 10ish days last cycle. I will definitely be testing with a FRER and an IC before taking the first dose of Clomid just to be on the safe side.

I noticed yesterday that I struggled to button my jeans. I'm retaining water which is very unusual for me. I blame the Clomid. My sore nipples are almost gone today (they were really bad yesterday) and tender breasts totally gone. I've been feeling cold since last night which makes me think AF is about to come. I'm 11dpo and expecting my LP to be 14 days on Clomid but who knows. Not feeling very optimistic.

Lauren, the nurse told me this cycle that it can take a day or two for your temp to rise after you ovulate. So, FX you see the rise tomorrow!

So, my spotting stopped again. It hasn't ever increased to what I would call a light flow. It's just been spotting when I wipe. I'm considering getting a frer but I'm nervous it will be negative. I have some progesterone after my weird super heavy period last cycle. I'm wondering if I should take a frer and then take the progesterone if it's a bfp to stop the spotting?? It really doesn't help that we're in a completely different state right now, otherwise I would call my RE. :/ I couldn't temp this morning because I was up all night driving and reached our destination at my usual temp time. Limbo.... Ugh....

Forgot to mention that I've been feeling a little dizzy today and I still have tender boobs which I only ever have around ovulation. It's so hard not to get my hopes up!!! Also, my lp is usually only 13 days and my spotting seems to have stopped now that I'm 14dpo and my cramps have really calmed down. FX they are all good signs!!!!

My temps ALWAYS look good at this point. And actually my LP temps this month are overall lower than is usual. But I have great progesterone levels so my temp often climbs until AFTER my period has come. Basically my temps should not be read into at all! The only good signs I have is no spotting or cramping, those always mean I'm out.
Also I think it may not be possible for me to get an early BFP given how badly I test with urine. :(
I just don't think I can handle BFNs right now. February is the WORST month of the year for me when my SAD is most severe. And next month I turn 35 which I'm NOT looking forward too. I HATE birthdays.
Sorry for the rant, I do REALLY appreciate your optimism, ladies.

Momamia, I wouldn't necessarily assume you have low P based on that. You could have had a vanishing twin, and there are tons of reasons for spotting in both pregnancy and ovulatory cycles. I spot occasionally, sometimes for 4 days before AF, and my P levels were still great those cycles. But if you are concerned then I would recommend getting it checked. Bc I have a short, variable LP I always figured I had low P, at least some months, but the opposite turned out to be true. It did reallu help reassure me to get those results! Nothing is worse than not knowing.
Magical, your FET is not far away at all! In less than a month you will be PUPO! I'm so excited for you. :)

My test is so light. Obviously, it's definitely not fmu so I should be happy there is anything there at all. Should I call my RE? I don't know what they can do when I'm so far away.

Thinking thinking, how long until you test again? You said you had small bleeds when you where pregnant with your boys? Maybe this is happening again. You also said only when you do under 2s you bleed are you making sure you wipe each area separately incase the bleeding is maybe coming from your bum area not your Cha Cha.

Ksmom I'm sorry about your 3rd miscarriage :( I hope you are able to see RE soon to get some answers.
Lauren I conceived DS1 on clomid but I also had a very boy friendly diet, I think it is different for you having beeen on LE for so long. We BD'd ever other day to get him. I was going to do clomid again and the plan was to BD e3ds for the first cycle or two and then up the attempts if we were still trying as I figured the multiple clomid cycles would sway pink more and make up for more attempts.
Momamia, if you are bleeding after no. 2s it could be you cervix is soft and easy irritated if knocked by a bowel movement. Fx you tests get darker!!

I'm happy to hear you made a decision and you're happy with it. I know it's hard when your dh is the one wanting the dd or ds. I'm swaying for my dh too and it adds another element to it. I'm sure your boys will keep you busy and smiling (most of the time).

I'm 9dpo and feel nothing. The last two times I was pregnant, I had cramps on this day. Doesn't make me feel good about this month.

It's not uncommon to O 3+ days after a first positive OPK. Oing the same day is also possible but not super commom. Only temps can tell you for sure! I bet you will get a positive OPK today!
I wouldn't personally BD a ton my first month on Clomid, bc you can still get a biy doing the diet and Clomid. Most of the failed Clomid + LE sways have 2+ attempts in the fertile period.
Momamia, I noticed your BFP was on an old FRER but your BFN today on a new one. The new ones are much less sensitive so you may still have a shot. Fx for your beta in a couple days! I still have hope for you.
Quinn, I'm feeling out too. Not a feeling I enjoy! My temp dropped today. I'm 12dpo. I feel like AF will arrive tomorrow.

Okay, I don't think I've ovulated yet. I have more EWCM than I've ever had in my life today (maybe from the Clomid?) were about to bd (if we can sneak away from DS) and cross our fingers!!!

My fingers are crossed for everyone still .
I'm on cd 13 and feel like i don't know what to do anymore.... I know we should attempt today but I need reassurance that you can get pregnant with a couple day cut off while on clomid.
I usually O on cd 14 or 15 but I have o'd as early as cd 12 before so I feel like i should bd today just in case as I am having all signs of O (intense cramps, ewcm..). But I guess I'm just afraid that I won't o until cd 15.... being on clomid which apparently makes conditions more hostile for sperm.. is a cut off still good chances?
As far as opks go, I haven't gotten a positive yet but I have had cycles where I never got a positive and then still clearly o'd according to ff... so I don't really have much faith in them. That cycle I was using wondfo's but now all I have are the clear blue smiley face ones.

Kmom I would definitely BD again today! It's harder to conceive with a really long cut off (more than 4 days) on Clomid for sure, just due to reduced CM.

It's so frustrating to me to have such a hard time getting positive opks! I have ewcm but it is minimal... I feel like that must be an effect of clomid... my cp is very high. I can't even tell if it's soft or hard cause its out of reach almost.
Tmi question but does anything effect cp other than O? Like needing to have a bowel movement? I don't feel like i have to go to the bathroom at all but I'm just trying to think of any reason why it would feel so high other than ovulation it's self.

Sorry maiden. Your temps are still high overall. Mine dropped before my bfp in December. Also saw tfahn started. It really is disappointing to get a negative after a mc. So close but so far.
I still keep getting upset about my cp. Being pregnant would have saved me so much money between the RE and acupuncture. Plus I always think of the baby that could have been...
I know the best results for girl are one or two times but I conceived my last dd with an IUI and tons of bd before and after. I had a really LE lifestyle though so that helped I'm sure.

Kmom I've only gotten positive OPKs twice in 6 years of using them. On Clomid, my OPKs were even lighter than usual! It is indeed very frustrating. I love my CBAD bc I get a Peak on it preceded by 3-4 days of Highs. But it can't be used on Clomid. :( I think it's great that you are BDing every 4 days. I planned to do that this cycle but I felt so bad from the Clomid it wasn't possible. Hoping to do every 3 days next cycle.

I just noticed some clear EWCM with a tiny blob of rubbery, very pale pink CM. I'm inclined to think that means I'm out...but my pre AF spotting is always at least a little brownish. Often it looks beige bc it's so little and mixed with creamy CM. This pink is completrly devoid of any brown. Last pregnancy I has a few days of pink tinged clear-creamy CM around the same dpo. Gah! If it WERE brown I'd just assume AF was coming...i hate limbo!
Also I'm retaining water? I noticed bc I wore some jeans and almost couldn't button them but I definitely haven't gained weight. Has anyone retained water post O on Clomid? This is not a normal symptom for me, pregnant or not.

I can relate Quinn, the BFN hit me hard yesterday and I kept thinking that the MC I had last month was probably a boy that I wanted since it took so long to implant, as people usually say boys implant later. I had tested through 11dpo and never got a positive on a FRER so when I started bleeding on 13 dpo I naturally assumed it was my period which in hindsight it never was, I so wish I had tested Christmas day.
I just have heard so many people get there BFP after there MC that I was focused on that all month but alas a new cycle began, crying over it won't change my BFN so trying to stay positive. I will start Clomid Monday evening, After I call the RE and request a blood HcG test Monday morning. I just don't trust the FRER's and the heaving bleeding enough to take Clomid again without a blood test. Fingers crossed for a healthy BFP this cycle.

Hi all so I'm trying for a girl as well:) this is month four of hoping to get a positive preg test but AF came at 11 days past o about 4 days earlier then normal! It was def a period as it was not just spotting lasted only 3-4 days usually have two light days and three heavy! Didnt have the heavy this time ? U think its messed up from diet and supplements! Atomic said to dtd 1 time at positive but I'm going to do every three days? Also do any of you use refresh debating if I should use it or if maybe that us another reason I'm not getting prego! I usually get preggo easily! First month w my first and 1 time w my second!

Refresh cuts conception a lot and odds are not even that good, I used it before and didn't conceive dropped it and did. I used ky jelly and won't be using it again.
Just fiber and coffee and alcohol daily and BD e3d

I had a plan from atomic but my subscription ran out really can't afford the 100 to renew right now or I would ask her what to do! I wonder if these lower my odds if conception as well? How about taking antihistamine before ovulation?

Sorry for everyone whose had to deal with a bfn this month :( it such a hard result to cope with especially when you've experienced a loss or have been ttc for so long :(
As for me I've mentioned privately to a few friends here that this is it for me and I couldn't be happier. I'd become an obsessed freak with ttc and it was taking over my mind 24/7. I feel like I've thought of nothing else for the last year and had recently even began dreaming about it as well. I would wake up after dreaming sometimes twice that I'd temped or somehow missed a bd and it was ruining my life. I truly am ready to stop and after finally having a wonderful, dreamless sleep, feel a million dollars and more resolved than ever to move on if I get a bfn. I believe I'm currently 2dpo regardless of my temp dip (think I oed early friday morning and caught it as temp was rising but not at height, then caught my fall back rise the following morning.) My cm had started turning post o by friday afternoon. After very little/poor sleep all week trying to get as many bd's as possible I am very happy that I feel we've given this our best shot! So here's my chart (its not pretty or very readable) magical I'm sorry we may nit end up pregnant together after all - it wasn't through lack of trying lol and I cant wait for your successful fet!! Mommamia, you have already had a bfp whether you believed it truly or not, it was there, which means that a baby formed and produced hcg. The chance of a frer having a false positive is almost 0. You had two in fact. I am inclined to agree with whoever said this last test you did is one of the ones that is less sensitive and that's why the test showed negative. Yes there is a small chance that you have had a chemical pregnancy, but a lot of your symptoms say something is going on. Can you lay down and close your eyes and see if you can feel your uterus inside your body and see if you can feel a throbbing sensation? I've been pregnant five times and I have always picked when I am pregnant because of the way my uterus feels to me. I essentially take pregnancy tests to confirm what I already know. I know that sounds all a little woo, but I've known when I'm not pregnant. It just feels quiet down in that region. When I'm pregnant it feels like all the blood has run to that area and is getting busy. I still have my fingers crossed and I think you will be surprised again when you take your next hpt. Good luck.

Unfortunately, af has started officially. I won't mark it until tomorrow as my Dr said the first full day of flow is the first official cycle day, plus it's 10pm here. Thank you all for your support. It means so much to me and really helps me get through all of this. I'll be letting my RE know that I had a chemical and see what he says. I just don't understand why my body is having such a hard time staying pregnant. Hopefully the hsg will tell me something. I'll be calling tomorrow to schedule it.
FX for everyone!! I'll have to catch up with the thread when I'm back home in a few days. :)

Maiden - I am keeping my fx this is your month!! The water retention on clomid is normal for me too; in fact, my first month on clomid I actually had a lady at work ask me when i was due :suprise: that's how bloated I was! LOL!
Cmiller - you could also ask in the forums, atomic may not answer right away but she is usually pretty good at replying and you may get some other suggestions too!
Pbn - I hear you on the obsessiveness, even when I try to let go and not temp, or track opks my mind still runs a mile/minute trying to plan and overthink everything. I am glad you have found clarity and solace but I am still keeping my fingers crossed you caught your eggie this month :)

Thanks Lauren :) its been nice discussing projects and goals with dh that I'd shelved during this ttc time. I'm actually quite excited about things and even the idea of going back to work maybe a couple days a week. So while these things will never be the same as one more baby they mean something to me and my family and will be really good goals we can focus on and achieve together!

I'm kinda in shock I'm on no contraception I have no idea when I Oed as I wasn't tracking I was just focusing on getting AF so I could start this next FET cycle. I have no idea what dpo I am. DH and I dtd roughly every second day. I can see colour but it's so so faint. But I did do the test around around 5pm with a 3 hour hold will do another test tomorrow morning with FMU.

This cycle got a bit messed up with illness/antibiotics and late ovulation. Had one good attempt in fertile window but no ide how many days post ovulation I am! I'm on cd30, usually last 32 or 33 days. Had bfn so pretty certain I'm out this cycle. I really don't know what to do next. We might try one more cycle or just take a few months out to think about it. Good luck to everyone x

Pbn - glad you are feeling calmer & more at peace. I really admire you guys that have been ttc for a long time & swaying too. I am only on my 3rd cycle ttc & am already over it. Since I'm swaying boyI am worried about gaining too much weight, trying to snack often but keep it healthy.

Momamia, I'm sorry AF found you. I don't think you had a chemical as your BFP was on a FRER but you only tested out your trigger on DT HPTs, which are less sensitive. I think that old FRER was picking up the trigger. It can show up for 14 days after.
Honeybug, thank you for sharing your experience on Clomid! Nice to know it's not unheard of. I'm sorry about AF. Will you try anything new this cycle?

I'm sure I'm out as my pink spotting turned brown and I had a little this am when I wiped. I think AF will be here tomorrow and I actually Oed a day earlier on CD16. It feels like AF is about to start. I temped late so probably my temp today is artificially high.

Oh that's right. :( Sorry, i didn't have your chart handy, thank you for correcting me. I'd still wonder if it was the trigger, but your LP was so long...please tell us what the RE says. I wonder if you would benefit from a booster trigger shot after O? I've seen them help with low P/history of loss. Maybe ask about that option and Femara. I hope you can devise a good plan for this cycle.

So confused this cycle. Period came early on Friday afternoon at 11 dpo and it was heavier yesterday but by last evening it was turning brownish and very light again. Hardly there today at all. I did test with a FRER this morning and there was no hint of a line. 2 day period or late implantation? Temps are still higher and if it wasn't my period I would only be 13 dpo today. Probably wishful thinking that there will be a late BFP in my future but the thought is still there :).
For fantasy sake, if it was implantation bleeding starting Friday when would I get a positive on a urine test?

I think it takes 3-4 days typically to get a pos. after implantation. I tend to get a BFP about three days after implantation dip. FX for you Tfahn!!

I told myself I won't be getting depressed or obsessive this cycle, I'm on cd 5 af turned light today, I'm just sad I really just want to be pregnant, so many of my friends are pregnant and with girls, I am so depressed. Really want to give my DD a sister, and the feeling just won't go away :(

tfahn, my AF is usually 3-4 days but I've had some 1 & 2 day AFs since swaying. It's common for pink swaying to lighten/shorten your AF.
AF is almost here...I have much heavier spotting and BRUTAL cramps. She came late at night last time and I think that will happen again. I think I just got 'lucky' when I noticed pink spotting, most times I don't notice it until it turns brown.

So sorry for all the bfp's, ttc is so hateful, fingers crossed for next month for all of you. Princess mom, I know exactly how you feel. My husband and I talked about it last night, he thinks am really fixated on having a girl and is concerned how I will cope if it's another boy, I really hoped ds2 was a girl, but I could not love him more, so I don't really share dh' s concerns about not loving the next baby if it's a boy but I do wonder about how I come to terms with not having a dd2, either if we go again and have a boy or if we decide not to have another one and say we are blessed with three! I some ways I think as I never swayed with the the other three part of me would have wondered what if I had tried to sway, so maybe it would be easier to move on if I felt I tried everything I could to have another girl?

tfahn, my bad I forgot you're swaying blue. I'm clearly out if it lately. I wouldn't expect swaying blue to have a similar effect on AF, but maybe ask atomic?
I think the short/light AF could be related to your recent loss and timr on Clomid, though. Please let us know how AF is tomorrow. Do you needoyou decide whether to take Clomid or not?
I was right, AF arrived just after 11pm. It's funny bc FF says I'm on CD0 as I obviously haven't temped yet.
Magical, what an awful tease. I'm so sorry. :(

Maiden, I'll take another test in the morning and will ask the re for a blood hcg test, if everything comes back negative I might start taking the clomid tomorrow evening. The re takes a full flow as day 1 which would have been yesterday for me so I have some time to decide

So by longer do you have any time frame to work with as in what your longest cycle has been so you have something to work towards? I know you haven't tracked anything so no idea lt phase wise but if your longest cycle was say 35 days or something then maybe you can have a rough idea? Also I've read of people that are more prone to get a bfp with evening wee rather than fmu (have no idea why?). Your test from last night was quite obvious so maybe try again this evening just to rule that possibility out?

The last year ttc with clomid and IVF and FET my cycles have been so controlled I don't know what a normal natural cycle is. But when I was ttc my first son naturally my cycles could be up to 35 days long. I've also read SMU is better then FMU, I just bought a 3 pack but just don't wanna waste anymore FRERs!

No Clomid this month, I'm going to alternate cycles on it. I would like to try E3D, but we'll see. Household is all jumbled bc the kitten just went into heat. I knew it was a bad sign as with a previous cat, she would go into heat for 3 days then my AF would come. Exact same timing with this kitten except she is soooo much younger and smaller than my other cat was.

I am cd 10. Will start doing opk at cd14. My hubby is working away all week so we plan to "try" 2 times this month. Saturday and sunday. So that is cd15 and cd16. I have ovulated cd17 both months on the clomid so i hope i do the same this month!

I'm 5dpo. I think I'll wait till 12dpo to test this time. I always test on 11dpo but then usually get a temp drop on 12dpo if AF is on her way. So I'll only test if no drop I think.

I am still getting positive OPKs for days at a time. I had O pains for like 3 days in a row too. Idk what's going on. I've had EWCM for about 3 days as well. We are continuing to bd E3d and I'm hoping we get in the fertile period. I feel like something is wrong with my cycles. Shouldn't it be more clear than this? I was so tired this morning that I slept an extra two hours! I can't even go by my temps because I've been waking up so many times in the night and drinking cold water before bed.
Sorry for the ranting I'm just so exhausted with this crazyness. A year is enough, I want a baby.

Lauren, have you taken a pregnancy test recently? OPK's could also pick up HCG in your system and with you being tired, just my first thought.

MY HCG blood work came back from this morning at <0.6 so I am in the clear, I will start taking my Clomid pills this evening. Fingers crossed this is the month.

Okay now I feel crazy lol my OPK today is the darkest it's ever been. We aren't due to bd until tomorrow morning at 930am (ish lol) I'm tempted to bd tonight because of this super positive and not having a temp right yet and our last bd day being over two days ago. Ahhhhh what should I do?
Tfahn- I had bloodwork. No pregnancy here. Just a crazy ass cycle lol

Pbn I'm jealous of your peace of mind. I know our ttc journey is almost over but it's dh's choice and not mine so I'm not accepting it. I hope this is it for you though!!
I'm 11dpo with no real symptoms either way. That tends to lean towards af though. I was so hopeful for this month but it's not looking good anymore.

I'm trying for a boy so there is no such thing as too many attempts, if it were me I would probably BD tonight in fear of missing the egg, but I too have been trying for a year and just want a healthy sticky bean at this point. Was your attempt 2 days ago when you had the good CM?

Yes. I had lots of EWCM so we had our attempt that morning. I'm wondering if bd tonight would be that different than in the morning. I really don't want to miss the egg and I feel like the odds of getting pregnant with o-3 are just so slim.

Lauren I would bd tonight. Not much difference between tonight and tomorrow morning but if you o early hours of tomorrow morning better to have swimmers there ready. After a year of swaying I would go for it especially if clomid cycles are numbered.

I told you those OPKs give tons of false positives. It's not you, it's those OPKs. PLEASE, no one use OPKs that look like these (sold under multiple names in the US). I urge you again to buy a reliable brand of OPKs such as First Response, Dollar Tree or even Clear Blue Digitals (NOT the Advanced).
Has your fertile CM dried up yet? I would be sure to stick strictly to E3D (I think E4D would be better personally) and not BD ANY sooner, as that can significantly sway blue. Much better to go over 3 days than under IMO.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Lauren but I'm no way near an expert on this at all. I can only relay what I would do in your situation after a year of swaying with no bfp. IF you feel ready to let go of one attempt then go for it, otherwise as Maiden said stick to e3d. I just know you've been trying so long and have been very good with cardio and diet. Add clomid to that now, does an extra attempt 12 hours prior to scheduled attempt really make much difference? That's how I personally see it. I agree that 3-o is not the greatest attempt but again that's just my opinion. You have to ask yourself if you're ready to let go of that side (no of attempts) of your sway. At the end of the day we have to remember that swaying increases our odds of desired gender but in no way gaurantees it. You could do absolutely everything 'pink' and still get 'blue'. I don't want you to bd tonight based on my opinion. It has to be your decision, your the one who has to be ok with the additional attempt come morning and if you think you'll regret it then wait till morning and keep on with what you were doing. Whatever you decide I will have everything crossed that you get your long awaited bfp regardless :)

I know I need different OPKs but I haven't gotten a chance to get the other yet. I still have fertile cm and I've been swaying for over a year. I think we will bd tonight which is lose enough to e3d. I won't go over every 3 days at this point. It's been way too long for me.

I have been exercising and dieting this entire time.... I just don't know how possible it is that I would have any swimmers waiting at o-3 due to how acidic I probably am. I would be mad if I totally missed the egg for lack of trying.
