Some one help me out here?? Maybe I did not O this month? But then what was that big O pain I had??
Im sure I O'd late cd 16 or very early cd 17 but look at my chart what is going on with my temps???
it's not going up it is going down! And if FF wait only for a temp rise to look for O it will put it on a wrong day for sure.
Oh and there was no more smiley last night when I did another test.(only on the morning)
Flava, that is a funny chart... I wonder if you didn't O. ?

Alexis- fx!!
Bec- yay for HE, try to cut as much processed foods as you can and stick to those whole, natural foods. I wouldn't stress about the timing, I got my guy with an o-2 and o and got my girls bd every other day not knowing when I o'd. It litterally could have been the exact same timing just a very different diet that got me blue. Fwiw my pH was 5 1/2-6 when I conceived.
Flava- sorry you are calling it quits but if that's what's best that's what you gotta do :)

I don't get O pain. I never have. So I don't know. But I would expect that your temp would go up after O, and since it hasn't...maybe you are having a delayed O? Keep temping and checking with opks. I have heard that sometimes you can have a false start and then actually O much later in your cycle, if your O was interrupted by stress or something.

You are right and now I only find creamy cm so we are no doing it.Cervix changed too. I really think I O'd when I had that big pain or just shortly after that .Temp rise or no temp rise. I also read that sometimes we only get a rise days after O.
Find this on o pain if anyone interested.
What causes painful ovulation / mittelschmerz?
Painful ovulation/mittelschmerz is believed to be caused by a small leakage of blood from the ovary that occurs at the time of ovulation. This blood, which is later reabsorbed, is thought to cause an irritation of the abdominal wall which causes pain. The degree of pain you feel depends on your individual pain threshold and the volume of blood that is released, among other factors. The amount of space that exists between a woman’s ovary and her abdominal wall can also affect the severity of the irritation. While painful ovulation does not lead to other problems, other medical conditions can cause painful ovulation, such as PCOS or fibroids on the ovaries. If you are concerned, it is suggested that you visit your doctor to discuss your issues.

Gosh, good point, I hadn't actually thought about that. I thought I had everything planned down pat too! I'm not too sure now. The earliest I O is CD27 so I suppose we will BD from at least CD25 every 2 days until O. What do you think? Or I just don't know whether to start actually BDing now every 2 to 3 days? I know this is what Lola did when she was on Clomid.
What CD are you now?

Question ladies... my pH is 6 and was 6 when I first checked it about 8 weeks ago. It stays at 6 when I O as well. Shouldn't it be higher when I O? DH's pH is 8.5 (the dipstick doesn't read any higher so it actually might be higher than this) so I'm pretty happy with that.
Are you using dip sticks? Coz they don't work too well... If you used a digital bet you would find you are higher that this ;)

Don't rely on pains to dictate ovulationg, they can happen before during and after ovulation.

HEY ladies! I've been on tour for the past week with the ballet company and have been way too busy to even log on at all. Anyway, I'm back and ovulating tomorrow apparently.
How is everyone? I just tried to read through posts but it's too many to answer.
Flava, are you taking opks?
Alexis, FX this is it!
Who else is up now?
3P1B, I did NOT cry at all, actually! They made the birth scene way unsappy, which is good for me. I did cry, however, when that girl said she'd give Julia and Joel her baby boy. And I LOVE Charlie!!!! One of the cutest boy names ever!
Tink, how you feeling? Getting sick yet?
TTC5, still December? I bet you are chomping at the bit, huh? How's the weight loss, still doing that?
I've lost about 15lbs now, just back to my regular eating, which may end up giving me another girl if I ever get knocked up again, but I don't care at all. Just happy to not feel like Jabba the Hutt all the time, LOL.
Missed you ladies, hope everyone is doing well! And worried about Iluv also, hope she is ok. ELP, when are you finding out???? And you too, Kris??????

Oh Kris I keep forgetting to post, this is one of the few places in Reno that does optional gender u/s http://www.fetalimagingcenter.net/index.php
It's less then 15 minutes from the Sands so I called them and you won't need any special info/paperwork to get the u/s, just pay the fees which are a bit steep. $150 for 15 min 2D w/dvd or $245 30 min 3D w/dvd.
Sacramento is a huge area with crazy traffic so even a 15 mile drive can take an hour and since you're only there for the day that could take up a huge part of it. I can definitely find you one there but will need an address to find you the closest place :)

pH is hard to chance .At least for me but it goes higher around O. I only saw that after I got a digi tester. paper strip is not good.
I have a hanna digital but it doesn't work. I think you might have given me some advice about checking it actually. I checked with lemon juice and the reading stayed at 7 so it is definitely faulty. It's not worth sending it back to the US to get it repaired and I am not paying more money for another one. Strips will have to do :(

So it's not worth it and I'm not spending more money on another one. I'll just go with that... that it is probably higher than the dip stick reading ;)

We wanted to...DH drinked some coffee and I did bsf. But then DH had to go and rent a movie and let DD1 watch it with us.
I thought it's not a good idea on school day to stay up and so but ok...only the damn movie was so long it ended at midnight and then DH and DD had a fight about some stupid little thing. So he was grumpy and I was so sleepy and we went to sleep.
Maybe it was better this way maybe not ...can't change it now. And I still not sure I O'd yesterday or earlier. Also maybe after midnight it would have been to late anyway.
We tried twice on the days i had the most ewcm now we wait and see.

Anyway but Im sure FF will put my O to cd 18 or maybe 19 .

Bec- you may just need to calibrate your Hanna, mine had issues when it needed calibration. There are lots of household items you can use, distiller water (pH of 7) can be used to set the high end and tomato juice (pH of 4.2) for the low end.

Lola, that is awesome about your weight loss. Lucky!! I wish the boy diet was the skinny diet! Someone at the grocery store yesterday looked at my kids, then looked at my fat tummy, and said, "Ah, ready for the next one?" WTF? It doesn't calibrate, that's the problem. I have the buffer solutions (7 and 10) and the reading doesn't adjust above 7. I thought maybe it was faulty buffer but then I checked the lemon juice and it didn't change. And it didn't change for DH's sample either and the the strips for him show his pH is 8.5.

Welcome love being a mummy!! 6 mo preg and still got the comment, wow that's brutal lol No matter my weight I show crazy early and stick straight out the front so it always stings when someone can't tell.
Bec- yep that sounds like a faulty probe, the company I got mine from sent me a replacement probe for free.
Flava- my fingers are still crossed for you!
Lola - see I'm the same show early and huge! Don't worry I'll be taking/posing a new pic today. 24 weeks already, holy cow!
So ladies I want your feedback. My BFF's baby that was born in July isn't gaining weight. She was born at 9lbs 1 oz and at three months she's 10lbs 4oz. Her/my pediatrician started with supplemented bottles but last week moved her to full formula bottles 3x a day. She only feeds her every 3-4 hrs and has even asked me to try to stretch the milk she gives me because she's having trouble keeping up (she's pumping). We've had numerous conversations about nutrition (her milk has almost no fat) I've told her if in doubt give the kid a boob but she still only feeds once the baby if she is really upset and since she's often quite hungry she's a very difficult, very fussy baby. Well some days I only watch her for an hour or so but days like today and tomorrow I have her for 5-6 hrs and have only been given enough milk to make 1 formula/milk bottle. On these long day I've been sneaking in extra straight formula bottles and have had a content easy going baby. My friend only wants straight bottles in an emergency but I feel like a hungry baby and mom not returning for 2 hrs to be just that. So here's my question, should I tell her I'm doing it, keep it my innocent little secret or should I respect her wishes and stop doing it.

It's always the right thing to be honest, so I would explain to her why I did it. Is the baby sleeping at night? I would probably play the 'she will sleep better if you cluster feed her at night' card and see if you can get her to feed her more, or tell her she'll be more enjoyable. Also, telling her that if she doesn't feed her enough, she won't develop right, could be a good motivation to feed the kid. My MIL has a daycare and she has moms that do that kind of stuff, but she always says she does what she thinks is best for the child, and she will deal with the parent. On her watch, she isn't going to let any child be hungry! GL. I know that's really hard!!
So DH has been gone 5 days and it just happened to be right over my ovulation day. Would anyone mind looking at my chart and let me know what you think about BDing tonight? My first OPK+was two days ago, but when you look at my previous chart, we BDed 12-18 hours after my first positive last month and still didn't get pregnant. The temps go up, but really they don't go above 97.5 until like 3 days after my first pos. I have barely any CM so it's hard to know if it's shifted. Any advice would be appreciated. I don't want to be in the girl zone, but we've had such problems getting pregnant, I am wondering if we are dtd too early?? I still haven't gotten the Fertility Friend crosshairs.
Thanks, much! My Ovulation Chart (http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/35af7b)

Hey ladies, I just wanted to pop in and say I had an ultrasound yesterday at about 11 weeks and baby is looking good. The heartbeat was a good strong 164 and I had a bit of a pang when I heard that, like, oohhh that is a girl heartbeat b/c dd's at 10 weeks was 169. So I don't know. But dd was always super chill in the womb and this kid was doing flips and somersaults and everything like crazy! It was so wild because of course, I can't feel it yet.
Symptoms seem more boy to me--crazy itchy skin, different from last time, not nearly as much nausea as last time, very little acne compared to TONS last time in the first trimester, craving meat and salty things instead of sweets like before....but I don't know, the heartbeat has me re-thinking.
Oh well either way it's mine and DH's and we are very happy everything is going so well. Baby was so active the tech only got two good shots and I don't think there's a nub but I don't know much about that. I may try to post them in the next couple of days if I can get DH to scan them.
Babydust to all!!!

jen-things like this makes me angry .WTH? Feed that baby man! Why don't she want to give more food ? That baby is crying hungry poor little thing! So her doc put the baby on formula then for sure they also told her that the baby need more feedings. I would tell her that sometimes you give her extra because the baby is very hungry and after that she is such a good baby! You know we all wat to breastfeed and so but no baby should ever cry hungry!!!

I would give her more bottles like you have done! I prob would leave it at that too.. if you do mention it she may get defensive, is it worth it?
love being a mummy
October 20th, 2011, 08:05 PM
Maybe you could say that 1 bottle wasn't enough and the baby was still hungry so next time would she be able to bring 2 bottles cause bub wouldn't stop crying.
Why won't she feed the baby more ?

Hope.ful- I'm usually all for honesty but it she feels like she failed at breast feeding so it's complicated.
Flava- it infuriates my too! I have no idea why she thinks she only needs to eat every 3 1/2-4 hrs. I tell her all the time to feed her but if she only ate an hour ago she doesn't seem to think she could possibly be hungry.
Ttc5- yeah I'm afraid of hurting her, she's honestly doesn't think any of this is her responsibilty. She just assumed she'd make plenty of healthy milk with a really crappy diet and the baby would pack on lbs even with seriously spaced out feedings.
Love being a mummy- baby cries and cries with her and her dh and she still looks at the clock saying oh she ate 2 hrs ago she can't be hungry. I seriously don't get it, I have no idea why she thinks she only needs to feed at certain times when I've told her 1000 times bf babies can eat every 2 hrs.

Yes we DTD 3 times. ALL 3 times were around 9 pm ( after DD went to bed) I got my positive opk on the 23rd of sept around 9 am. We dtd the 19th, 22nd and 23rd about 13 hours after positive opk. I did the BSF all three times about 45 mins before. DH drank a rockstar about and hour before...poor guy barely slept all week! And we did it Doggystyle all 3 times. I laid with my legs up for at least 30 mins after each time too. I think that is it for what I did In the DTD department. I do have to say I felt like doing it 3 days before was a bit risky for a boy attempt, but for some reason that month I got my positive opk on cd15 rather then cd14 like I normally did. In any case...I am thrilled to be pregnant as we will have one more after this regardless on gender.
Let me know If I can answer anything else.
I did have stuff under the bed for luck but we never ended up doing it on our bed! It is all still there though I am leaving it!
Thanks for sharing, I think you have a great chance for a boy!

We've been on the HE diet and supps for 7 weeks so far. DH was pretty much on it anyway. Ural AF-O. Going to order some preseed too. And I think we are going to BD every 2nd/3rd day leading up to O. I'm Oing without Clomid at the moment but irregularly. So if this cycle doesn't work I will be going on Clomid and will be able to predict O. In that case will try O-2 and O. How bout you?
Great plan! I am just like you ..I do ovulate, but irregularly ..I tried clomid last cycle and I ovulate early on CD 17 ..I was hoping to try O-2 and O but it didn't work out for me. Good luck to you.

3P1B, I did NOT cry at all, actually! They made the birth scene way unsappy, which is good for me. I did cry, however, when that girl said she'd give Julia and Joel her baby boy. And I LOVE Charlie!!!! One of the cutest boy names ever!

Ttc5- don't worry you'll be bumpy soon enough :)
MFC- vent away hun, many of us have been or were at this a while so we get it. It took a year and a m/c before I got this bfp. If your sway is killing you then maybe it's time to get it to something you can maintain with less frustration. Drop a few sups that you aren't sure are working or change up your diet a bit. My sway changed a lot till I got to a place I felt I could maintain for a while. GL and blue dust!
Daisy- ignore the owt, not one of my babies has been 100% correct. A few are right and a few are always dead wrong.
WP- so glad you're feeling better. I'm sure your little friend is just fine :)
Flava- my thoughts exactly, if in doubt feed the baby. She's only a few years younger then me but lacks so much common sense.
On egg whites, it's not romantic but a turkey baster works great for insertion. You can use it doggie style just be careful when you roll to your back not to let it all spill out.

Hey Ladies!
Regarding the eggwhites, I also had purchased Preseed and it comes with several tools to use, so I just did everything I could do get the eggwhite in one of those, then inserted it. It worked, but wasn't easy.
I have been doing some research online (scary, right!) and have found that with delayed ovulation and really low temps, I could have a low functioning thyroid. Has anyone had experience with that? I made an appointment a couple weeks ago so I go in Thursday and hopefully she will check that while I am there.

I am 10 dpo today. Haven't been feeling very optimistic at all. The only weird symptoms I've had was at 7 dpo and my cervix hurt all day. Like sharp pains. I've never felt that before and don't know what it could have been. It was weird and uncomfortable. I also didn't feel well for a few days and felt really dizzy for a couple of days. Don't know what to think about my chart. But AF is due on Monday, so I'm hoping I get a chance to test on Tuesday! Fx!!!

Love the baby belly Jen! I don't get your friend... Honor nurses like every 45 min!!! She's my most frequent nurser but my others were every 2 hours or so.
Do you have a La Leche League leader or meeting where she can get some advice... Maybe her supply and feeding problems are b/c she's not letting her LO nurse on demand?!

Did you do anything different to get your son?
I can't really remember, sorry.
When ttc I was working full time in a very stressful job, I stopped working and conceived a few weeks later.
I think the stress was the reason I couldn't get pregnant.
As for lifestyle, I don't think it really changed much from when I was ttc the first time.
We weren't swaying, I didn't even know what swaying was back then.

What days have you been ovulating? My last 4 cycles I have O'd on CD 41, 27, 27 and 43. I hope Clomid will make me O quite a bit earlier. I can imagine it is going to be hard to get the timing right.
So why do you have to have a papsmear before the next round of Clomid? How many rounds have you been on?
My cycles are very crazy, and making it hard for me to ttc ..I've ovulated all over the place ..CD 27,29,32!
It is very hard to get the timing ..but will see how it goes this time.
I have no idea why ..I asked them the same, they just said I have to have a papsmear done before the next round of Clomid. I took clomid for the first time last cycle that's it.
My dr recommended for my DH and I to dtd every other day starting from CD10through O, but I didn't listen to her :worry: but hopefully this time I will DTD twice O-2 and O that's IF everything goes well, but I know it's HARD!!!!

Ohh big hugs to you! it is so hard to ttc and every month we just want to do less and less so if we dont get a bfp soon we dont do such a good sway I guess. I really hope you get it this month!
I just cheked my last month and I got a bfp from bd 4 and 2 days before O.This month it was 3 and 2 days before .So yeah maybe I can get a bfp but I lost the last one too so who knows...
You're so right! That's me I'm doing everything less and less because I'm so tired. I really hope soon you get sticky bfp!!!

Atomic says to lower the count DH need to release every day for at least 7 day or even twice a day.
So Im not worried really.I think if we need more sperm then 2 day is better then one.
And the first was with 3 day absence so that was good.
DH said he felt he got a lots of stuff so that was a good one.omg man ...:rofl:
And he said we get pregnant for sure lol he is just so confident huh?
But he said that last month too , only I don't feel it this time.
Thanks Flava. That's exactly how I got both of my girls.. We DTD every day and some days twice a day!!!!
I think your DH is right you will get pregnant, you really have a good chance.

One year ago today I lost my fetus and very nearly so much more. Today I sit, healthy baby boy squirming about. Don't lose hope ladies you never know what's in your future.
Thanks Jen, I changed my diet little bit, I'm not doing anything hard. I will check my supp's and see if I need to drop anything. It's time to change this sway because it's not working for me and I don't wanna spend another year on this BS!

Hi Ladies, ok soooo I am really really tempted to try THIS cycle. WDYT?? Out of curiosity I looked at the moon phases of the week I am due to ovulate and I am in the week leading to the full moon.. not that that is anything big lol In the back of my mind i just can't get what cherie22 said about a girl in september, and if we do try end of the year we would be due around september.. I know it's silly but I tried hard to ignore that but it keeps playing on my mind for some reason?! So... have been on diet/supps for 7 weeks now, do you think this is enough time? I had approx 6-8 weeks off before starting up again and during that time was on it since January so a few months.. I feel like I have been swaying all year!!! I just want to start the fun stuff now, am so over pills and crap. I am CD1 today.... so need to decide what I want to do. What do you guys think? Oh and came off the pill 7 weeks ago too.... I know the pill sways pink, is this enough time? Be honest!!!

3P1B, you look adorable! So excited for you and that little guy!
GL to all!
I had an overactive thyroid and that interfered with ovulation. Abnormalities with thyroid hormones can definitely interfere with ovulation and menstrual cycles. Hopefully you can get some answers with a blood test.

So do you think actually start attempting from CD10? Not just releasing every 2nd day but actually attempting? How long are your cycles Bec? On a normal 30 day cycle I would have thought that even starting on Day 14, and the dtd every 2 nights after. Then this way DH doesn't actually know which night is the big night so no performance anxiety, and it will keep a fresh stock of strong boys half way towards the goal:agree: I wrote a post at the end of my attempt thread about why I just went for the O-2 x2. But I'm also wondering is it an advantage to give then boys a days rest in the crypts ready for the final race? For me +opk day is ov day where some ladies get the 24-48hr window, resting time? So for some +opk day is the right day and other fast ov's the day/s before? When I've tried on +opk day I've had girls as they were the ones prepared to do the full marathon, where the boys went in for the sprint to the crypts?? At the end of the day, with incentive, men are usually faster and more competetitive than women. Do they sit in the crypts egging each other on, waiting for the big signal and pushing the girls out the way when it comes, where as the girls have the sense to wait for slighty imperfect conditions knowing the guys are wimps when it comes down to it lol and hoping to sneak in if the egg rejects the boys.
The above is probably all silly rambling, but who knows what will make that final bit of difference?

This wouldn't suprise me! I'm not a high bd person, usually wait for the cues and take the shot. In the old days it was change of mucous usually Day 14 bd, then it became +opk which was when my main gender switch happened. But I had many other strong sway things going on, declining DH mobility due to smoking/specials decrease in physical condition, increase in sweets and empty carbs, so I've just tried to reverse what I did, so back to the old timing:agree:

Ok so what's with me then? i did not do any of this days...:think:but it's can't be true for all of us I think because i get ewcm very soon after af is over like 2-3 days after and that would be way to early before O so can't get pregnant from it .
But it starts with little ewcm and every day is more and more. Actually we did it when i had the most ewcm days it was a lot and very clear.
So those would be girl making days?:suprise:Why?
Ok i read it ...wow it is not easy to understand this study! But the I read the comments from skrimpy and i get it now lol.
So for a boy we need to do it on the first day of +opk or before that day. (well i hope so because that's what we did this month) if i get a bfp...

3p1b - that's bizarre...what is she thinking.....poor baby....I suggest you feed the baby and tell the mom too... may be she will notice how happy the baby is with more feedings...babies need to be fed every 2 hours or sooner if needed... didn't she get that from her pediatrician?

Daisy - I wouldn't read too much in to the heart rate. It really depends on how active the baby is.....the heart rates will be higher at the begining and as the fetus grows the rate slows and becomes more normal.... you definitely have a busy baby there...that's awesome!

Ph sounds great...it depends on how comfortable you are...if you are strict with diet and supplements may be you should go for it...did you decide if you want to do O-2 and O or just O?
I have been having meat for lunch and dinner, lots of peanuts, oats with dried fruit, wholegrain breads, vegetables, juices and lots of banana and potato. I think I might go for an 0-2 and an 0. I think... oh I don't know LOL!!

6weeks is minimum for the diet so you should be good...it is a tough decision....if you do go for it just think about what you want to do during the 2 weeks leading up to ovulation day...BSD, BSF, Mucinex, egg whites...all that good stuff....

I heard in many posts that preseed sways pink or neutral...It is personal choice but why are you choosing pre-seed over egg whites? I am not sure what I will do but EW definitely scares the hell out of me... i know couple of my fiends got pregnant using preseed and they both had boys...... but Preseed is PH7 vs egg whites 8+

I don't like the idea of using egg white 1. infection reasons and 2. it just turns me off, LOL ;)
I will add a tiny tiny touch of baking soda to it. Saying this, the pre seed is only here for back up :)

I agree with TTC5 re egg whites and infection. Plus we can't get pasteurised ones here in Oz so would have to do the pasteurising ourselves. I thought preseed swayed more blue because it provides EW like conditions whereas with girl you want dryish conditions.

I've read preseed on the boy sway list.
I tested the current lubrication we have and it's a 7. Would I be able to use that or should I get preseed.
I was considering EW but I don't think I want to now. I didn't know it could cause infections.

Up until the last 6 months my cycles were all over the place. My last 4 have been 55, 39, 39 and 53 days. Nope, not silly rambling, I get what you mean. I get 2 days of +opk and always O on the 2nd +ve day. Even when on Clomid I had two positive days.
So if I want DH to have a monster drink when we attempt should I just get him to that for our BD attempt after the first +ve OPK? So make that our big attempt with preseed as well and all the others are just in case attempts. Does that make sense?

That's my dilemma though. Because I don't know when I will O I can't be sure when O-2 will even be. So I can't just get DH to drink a monster each time we BD. He might be in for some serious monster drinking! And I don't want to use preseed for every attempt either, that stuff is pricey!

foxy- so sorry hun, big hug. Nice thing here is you're sadly in good company.
TTC5- I say go for it! I think you're diet length is good and your pH is great. FWIW we decided at the last minute to give May a shot and, well, look where it got me
Dreamblue- she definitely didn't get it from the pediatrician. I sent her to my pedi and I've been to several appt with her, he's desperately trying to help.
Daisy- Ita on ignoring the owt, most of them say I'm having a girl.
CA- WOOHOO!! congrats on the bfp!!
ELP - Happy Birthday Hun!!! GL at the u/s today, can't wait to hear what's cookin' :)
lubrication- pre-seed sways boy partially because of the pH but also because it's in general sperm friendly. It's very easy for the sperm to swim through where many other lubricants are thicker making it harder for sperm to get through. Less sperm getting to egg therefor swaying girl. I conceived 3 girls using regular old lube so if I hadn't had enough of my own cm I would only have used a fertility friendly lube. Just an fyi, the amount of cm when you wipe is just the tip of the iceberg. Go fishing to find even more and once you're in the mood to dtd you'll have way more then you thought. I had quite a bit coming out but while we were dtd dh commented I had tons by my cervix.
As for egg whites, if the eggs are treated right your risk of infection is minimal. It's literally as easy as washing the egg with soap and water and letting it sit in the fridge.

Well girls it's cd 1 for me :(
I'm going to get tested for insulin resistance soon I hope. Waiting to hear back from my OB if I go to him or my PCP.
I think I'm going to take a break for a while. I'm getting depressed. Thank you all for your help and support!
I wish you all the best, BFPs, healthy babies, and easy deliveries! Take care!

Hobber- I'd go for it!
WP- glad your still doing pretty good, yeah us preggo ladies are pretty boring till right before u/s and then delivery lol
Flava- is chicken smell a new problem? I can't stand chicken right now, maybe you've joined the grad club :)
Lola- thanks lola, i feel huge already lol. woohoo for 15lbs!! Foxy went in for her 8ish week appt and no heartbeat, so a d&c later...
Ttc5- I dropped the gelatin 4wks prior to my conception. I've said it 1000 times, it's so much more about diet then then the sups and drinks.
This is just what I wanted to hear, thanks Jen! :) We have been drinking the damn stuff since January and just had enough haha! We have ALOT of oats so that should hopefully help with testosterone :)
I hope I am as lucky as you!!!!
Well this is not really related to swaying but had to share.
Was at the local chemist this morning (buying more ural haha!) and the girl at the checkout and I were chatting about having more babies and she said how many girls have you got again? I said 4 and her reply "Wow that is beautiful!" Go on, have another BABY!! This made me so happy! For someone to say something so kind, no snark remark about no boys and to say to have another BABY - not Try for a Boy, was just so nice and warming to hear :D

Just back on the whole lubricating thing, when we ttc in August, we used egg white, apart from it being messy, I really think the PH is too high, just my opinion. This month we used preseed its so easy to use, no mess & I also had fertility crystals on me for the whole of September, maybe they helped to, I dont know! Or its just all about timing, our children come to us when they are suppose to.
Dd1 :ballerina: Dd2 :giggle: & :omg: Im :pregnant:
I'm quite wary about too high a pH too!

HI!
ELP, Happy B-day! I also can't wait to hear the results tomorrow!!!
3P1B, your belly is adorable!
WP, glad you are not feeling like crap, but the tiredness and bits of icky-ness are a good sign.
TTC5, I would say do the drinks if you want to....I hate that gelatin but hey, can't hurt to drink them if you are up for it! I know so many of us abandoned the drinks, but it can't hurt!
What happened to Foxy? I couldn't find her post? :worry:
Well, I'm 4dpo today, not much to say about that. We ended up dtd every night for 3 days, O-2 through O, and used preseed and the instead cups, but ya know, may not do the trick still.
You won't know unless you don't try! I am praying for you Lola :)

Bec, maybe you should just shoot for the once and done? (Meaning do it one time only, about 12-18 hours after your 1st positive opk.)
Yeah, I actually think I might try that now. Looking back at my charts from when I conceived my girls we BD quite alot, almost every day. Hubby wants to only do a one shot attempt as well. I guess the reason I am a little hesitant is because I just want to get pregnant quickly. Have to remind myself that it might take a while.

I would do just one try then when you get a + opk :)
Yep, that's my new plan. Hubby wanted to do it like this anyway. Have you decided what you're going to do yet?

Congrats Capicorn, I remember you were going to have to wait until April if you missed this month.....well now you don't.....hooray!!!
Flava: I hope you drop your pounds in a flash. What do you plan on doing? Exercise?
TTC5: I am so glad you are going to go ahead and go for it this month....GL.
Hobber: I have not idea about the hormones, but I hope you are a OHW!!!
Not much to report. No m/s....I hope I don't get it this time. I still have the nausea and yucky food moments, but I can handle that. Still so exhausted....I made brownies and cupcakes for a fall festival yesterday and I was sleeping inbetween the timer....uuhhhh. But hey, this is what we are hoping for right? Not as much to talk about when you are not TTCing anymore.
Good to hear that you are feeling relatively ok. I remember the tiredness oh so well. Hopefully it gets better soon!

Flava, I am sorry you feel done. Maybe you can adopt some day if you feel ready?
ELP, Happy birthday and good luck at your scan!
I am supposed to have my attempt tonight (well, the first attempt. We will do it a few times until ) day) but now I am worried that I am having too much hormone this cycle that is making my temps high and my cervix is unreachable? I wrote a post about it. I am worried that I will get a girl! What should I do? AaaaaaHHHGH!
Also, I thought I would get a +opk today (CD11) but haven't yet, and DH has been abstaining a couple days (today is day 4) so we have to DTD tonight or it will be too long an abstain! So what if I don't O for another few days? I hate all this craziness. Why can't I O on the same day every cycle?!
I wouldn't let DH go any longer either. Are you going for just one attempt?

For me ladies Im just sure no bfp this month so we are so done.I don't feel it like last month no symptoms at all ect. I really looking forward to loose all this weight 25 lbs!!!:suprise::mad:
So i will go learn the girl diet and find Lola's post about it . And i better go find a weight loss ticker! I will stick around at least till i loose weight and to cheer up you guys but not much longer because clearly a ttc forum is not for someone who will never have more kids...
Yeah in a way it's sad that I will never have a son but who knows? Maybe it is better this way...and maybe I would end up with girl #5 anyway!(most likely)
Sorry you are feeling this way Flava. I really hope you get your much deserved bfp!

That's what I was told to do also, and the reason why is because you can only take Clomid for so long and they want you to get pg quickly. My doctor also told me this is the best way to increase sperm count!
If I go back on Clomid I will definitely be doing at least O-2 and O.

3P1B, I just saw your belly pic. Lovely!
ELP, Happy Birthday! And good luck with the scan today :)
TTC5, I couldn't do the gelatin drinks, gross. I bought some brewers yeast powder but that is even worse. I'm only doing what I can tolerate.
Lola, sounds like a good attempt. I really hope it works!
Alexis, sorry to hear you're not feeling too good. I hope you'll be back.

Bec, thought i'd jump in & say i'd go for one attempt as close to ovulation as possible. I had cycles like yours & never knew when i'd ovulate so i went for 2 attempts 2 days in a row & i'm having a girl so if i had to do it all over again i'd go for one attempt. Just my thoughts, GL with whatever you decide to do
