Congratulations, so very happy for you xx
Any pics?
Thankyou:) Pics are just of a little fat face and body, no money shots, so I'll add them later as I have to photo them on DD's phone, bluetooth them to mine, send them to the comp, try and find them as I'm rubbish lol, and even then sometimes they don't come through, so I'm gonna need a quiet 1/2 hour to upload lol:oops:

I did the bd and similar sway like you so who know just maybe if I would have got a bfp then it would be a chance for a boy.

3pink1blue... You tell them (flava & lola). Also I noticed you are naming your little man Charlie, my DS2 is a Charlie and he is my sweet monster, cuddle bug, wiggly worm, and my mamas boy, I hope you enjoy your Charlie.
Seems like a lot of boys coming from the blue swayers... congrats to the new little princes. Boys are a joy.

You know what's weird?? Last night I was thinking about boy names and for some reason David popped in my head--I had no intentions of using it as a name (I think it is a fine name, but it doesn't really go well with my other children's names) but how interesting that you are considering it!!

DS2 is slowly changing to a dadas boy... he only wants me when he is hungry or dada isn't around. It is getting a little sad but I guess it is because he no longer needs to stay close to the milk source now that dada can fill a cup for him.
If I have a girl no one is touching her, mine mine mine, I want a child that only wants me.

We DTD ast night. I think it went okay, aside from the fact that I used real EW and it kind of slid out a little. And DH wasn't happy about doing it so late at night (he likes to fall asleep earlier than our 19 month old). Otherwise I think it was fine.
THE PROBLEM IS, he "helped himself" this morning--WHY?? He is so horny!:sigh: Ugh! Is that going to screw everything up? I was planning on DTD tomorrow and then ?? I don't know when O day is yet because I haven't gotten a +opk yet. I should have gotten one yesterday but didn't. Probably will today. Anyway I am totally pissed off that he did that, because now we won't have a full 48 hrs build up between BD's. Stupid DH!

hobber-don't worry about the 48 hrs so much! 2 days bd will not lower the sperm count. And if you do it tomorrow night it will be almost 48 anyway. We did it after a 3 day abst. (no bd before) and then on next day too. So it was only 24 hrs wait.
You are fine! I would make sure he is not doing it tomorrow morning .
And just when is your DH go to sleep so early?lol

Flava - no af yet so there's still a shot! DD3 is my sweet little buddy, only of my 3 with my eyes and always chooses me over her dad. Not going to lie, I love it :)
Purple- its funny because I've never met a Charlie (outside of my uncle who he's named after) but there are so many with Charlie's here :)
Hobber - yeah that egg white is messy stuff lol I'm sure his release this morning won't effect tomorrow much but tell him it's hands off till them lol

Oh there is no way if I would get a boy I let DH name him! ehh no way lol we can do it together but just him alone? nope
What would he name him?
Hubby and I named the boys together. We had a list of family names that we liked and picked from it. We do currently have a boys and girls name picked. But my hubby likes to think of ways a name could be made fun of for the furture school years. My family was telling us to name the boys something new and cool like Logan, Aiden, and Kobe but hubby said no their are to many kids with those names.

I have no clue about names...I never really had a boy name picked out.I also don't like names what to many kids already have ,but if I love it so much I would not care.I guess DH would pick his name but I said no way (don't know why because he don't really like his name anyway)so maybe for middle name.Problem is none of the girls got middle names so maybe it's not nice if a boy get one you know...I told him I have a right to pick my own boy name and don't have to use the one what this old lady picked long time ago , who we don't even know! Because even his grandpa has the same name and maybe others before him we are not sure. So no thanks.
But you see I don't think we will have any of this problems now, so all is fine.

Well, I am getting a fade-in on my opks. Which means it will be + today/tonight, and I would have DTD tonight but now we have to wait for some swimmers to build back up. Do you think tomorrow am (about 12hrs after the +opk) is okay? That will be a 24 hr build up for DH. I usually O the day after my first +opk, so probably the 27th, which is so stupid too, because it is a girl moon sign. Why can't O just wait one more day!

Yeah, I told him, and he was all grouchy with me about it. He is not a morning person AND he hates to be bossed around. He has been a real pain about this swaying thing... he is such a baby about being told what to do!
We DTD around midnight, and then he released around 6 am, so it was only about 6 hours of build up that was lost. Hopefully that isn't too much!

Hobber - Yeah my dh got grumpy and frustrated when told hands off too. I agree that 6hrs lost is not a big deal and if you O the day after the + tomorrow am or pm is still great timing.

I had cycles like yours & never knew when i'd ovulate so i went for 2 attempts 2 days in a row & i'm having a girl so if i had to do it all over again i'd go for one attempt. Just my thoughts, GL with whatever you decide to do

MFC - I didn't take soy with my last sway. I always had a feeling it sways girl more than boy. It dried me up badly.
I posted in the October pg thread. I had a MMC. I went in for a scan at 9 weeks and there was no heartbeat. :(
OH I am so very sorry hun, It's so SAD  but I hope you can try again soon, good luck and Allah Kareem. That's what I keep telling my self.
Soy made me ovulate on CD 17 just like Clomid plus it gave me TONS of EWCM. I got pregnant on my first month on Soy, but ended in miscarriage. I'm JUST afraid to take it again.

So i will go learn the girl diet and find Lola's post about it . And i better go find a weight loss ticker! I will stick around at least till i loose weight and to cheer up you guys but not much longer because clearly a ttc forum is not for someone who will never have more kids...
Yeah in a way it's sad that I will never have a son but who knows? Maybe it is better this way...and maybe I would end up with girl #5 anyway!(most likely)
Too early Flava!!! Lets just wait and see ..I really hope you get your BFP soon! This will be my last month then If no BFP I'll start losing weight.

That's what I was told to do also, and the reason why is because you can only take Clomid for so long and they want you to get pg quickly. My doctor also told me this is the best way to increase sperm count!

TTC5 these are the months one would need to ttc in, but in saying that though, these are the months that would have alot of planets in male signs in general, but to have your own lunar months made up based on you personally which involves your date of birth and the time you were born would probably give you different months like mine does, cause my boy month was now October. You know what I mean??
Its a personal choice, some of us dont believe in certain months and others do, I personally wanted to try everything in my power to help sway for a boy and if I end up with another girl, I know damn well I did my best.

As long as you have some good ewcm (or if you don't particularly care about that), then yea, you can just use some as lube. The reason it is inserted up by the cervix is to take the place of ewcm, which the more, the better for ttc a boy.

Stupid DH!
MEN! I wouldn't worry about it either....I have read that daily ejaculating is actually best for sperm counts. The cool RE doc that posts here now told me my DH should do it daily to increase counts! Just wait till a good 18 hours after your 1st +opk, or as long as you think you can wait to be close to O, and then do it. And slap him in the meantime. LOL

I was just looking at the thread on IG. It is all anecdotal, so who knows how accurate anyway, but she claims 69% accuracy on moon signs. She only did about 150 though, so not a huge sample.

I have doubt of all stats posted on IG. Think of how many boys and girls share a birthday, if the moon mattered that much someone would have noticed by now periods where no boys/no girls were conceived. dd3 was due the same day as my friends son, if diet wasn't more important that wouldn't be possible.

Maybe you are right. I have a lot of belief in astrology, so I tend to want it to be right.
I was due with my son the same day as a friend was due with a girl. So I guess I can see that side of things too, except that the moon sign is a little different--people can ovulate on different days, but according to the Dr.'s due date wheel, the due date is usually all the same (calculated by the LMP)... so two people due at the same time could have conceived 2 days apart, in different moon signs, right?
The thing is, there are too many factors, you know? Like maybe for some people, diet might be the most important factor, but for others, maybe it is moon signs or biorhythms? I guess we won't ever know for sure, right? So frustrating.

I am an emotional wreck this morning. I cried and cried myself to sleep last night so much I could not eat dinner and I can't eat this morning :( We received a phone call from our bank yesterday, our mortgage is going up $70 a week as of January. Not what we need right now, we are kind of toughing it out as it is as dh left work to study this year. I only get relief work as I can not work full time due to a medical condition (vascular problems) so income is no very little right now. I don't know if I agree that I am "supposed" to have anything... I think it might just boil down to luck, really. If I am lucky enough to have things line up really well, then great, but if not... well, I don't know. I wish I knew how I got my son so I could do the same thing again.

love being a mummy- like Flava said and experienced they could be quite cruel if you didn't get your desired gender. They viciously picked through the sway and harassed people about what you did wrong. I found IG when I had gd after dd3, in the 3+ years I hung out there I saw some pretty disgraceful behavior. Even Tamara grilled me relentlessly when I posted about being unable to change my pH. Jokes on her, I got a boy ignoring my minerals, ions and moon phase, eating forbidden foods, no drinks, minimal sups, having a prime girl pH and having accidentally perfect timing. At the end of the day there's a certain amount of luck involved regardless of your efforts.

love being a mummy- like Flava said and experienced they could be quite cruel if you didn't get your desired gender.
That is so horrible that people were like that :(
I would read the sways and think how on earth did they manage to get EVERYTHING so perfect, from the moon to pH to mineral levels. I tried for a week on fitday and it just is not viable!! I think alot of people just lied... LOL

I already DTD the other night, we will again tonight, so I guess I might be screwed. I hate that I can't control stuff like this!:tissue:

So I just need to cry it out here guys.
I am now not sure if we can afford another baby and I am heartbroken. I am stressed and worried what if we can not afford to keep our home, we have only been here two years and worked so damn hard to get this far :(
Oh TTC5 I am really sorry to hear about this ...I hope everything will be all right and that you will feel better soon♥

I totally agree... there is definitely luck involved....X&Y..who wants to go first :)
To some extent I understand why people want to talk about failed sways as they are equally helpful in learning about what has worked and what didn't, similar to successful sways..but there is a limit to how far you want to go in digging the sway. It takes a lot for someone to really get to the forum to post a failed sway.

Hobber - I know exactly how you are feeling....I dont believe in astrology but if someone comes to me and says it's not a boy month or boy sign (though I don't know much about either) I would get upset for a minute.... but then there is only so much you can control.... just pick the elements you feel are important for the sway and leave the rest... try not to overwhelm yourself with things that you have no control over.... I am just ignoring month/moon/ions stuff because every cycle is important for me as I cannot continue TTC or be on this HE diet forever...I am only willing to try 3 cycles...if it doesn't work I will just let the swaying part go out the window....back to good old days....

And what if all the swaying stuff actually does work and the moon signs are just a load of rubbish? Sure, they're going to be correct for some, that's only natural. I know it's easy to to say but you still have such a good shot at this!

I was just looking at the thread on IG. It is all anecdotal, so who knows how accurate anyway, but she claims 69% accuracy on moon signs. She only did about 150 though, so not a huge sample.
WHo knows. This whole thing is SO NERVE WRACKING! I don't know if I can take it.
PLEASE don't stress about this moon sign thing. My girls were conceived in boy signs. AND I want to add that the psychics (well, I looked up the one on ebay) have a big disclaimer at the bottom that it is just for entertainment. Personally, I believe that some people are very intuitive, etc, but I think that it is human nature to want a soothsayer to predict our future....I mean, who wouldn't want to know their future???? And MOST of these people pray on that human instinct and make a very good living off of it. Trust me, I used to live in New Orleans, and there are millions of palm and tarot card readers all over the place there and people just throw money at them for a "glimpse" into their future.
Just don't take that too seriously! This moon/astrological stuff may indeed be true, but we will never know, so it is better, IMHO, to base our sways and take seriously the more scientifically based factors like ewcm and diet and such.

Oh no, honey, I am SO SORRY you guys are having to deal with this! I know how you feel, I worry that we can't afford another kid also. Money stress is so hard. Do you think you could call your mortgage lender and see if they can give you a break since your DH is a student? I have to think there is something you can do to not have this kind of payment increase! I am by no means an expert in any of this, but maybe another one of the girls has some advice.....I would give it a shot though....if you call them and plead your case, or go in to the bank if you can. Love being a mummy- now don't get me wrong Hun I swayed but I stuck to the factors I could control and focused on changing the things that were in contrast to my girl making lifestyle. I cut out processed foods and shoveled in the healthy stuff. I have always worked out heavily, weights and all so I cut down to Pilates with weights. We always had to use lube, so I focused on increasing cm. My pH was unbudgable, I don't know any boy moms who didn't love dairy and refused to wait to be in the proper moon phase. Check out my sway for more details.
Dreamblue- I agree a failed sway is helpful but IG had people convinced there was a perfect combination guarenteed to get you that boy and dissecting the sways was the only way to find it. So sad really.
MFC- glad I make you feel better, I always hope to give you ladies hope :)
CA- omg I hate hearing that crap. From the time I got preg with dd2 (who turns 7 in a few weeks) I heard it all. Bet you're hoping for a boy, oh I bet it's a boy, blah, blah, blah, shut up. I swear some cases of gd are forced on us my societal harassment.

Sometimes they mean well and just want to make conversation, but IMO they still deserve a nice saucy comeback.
Annoying isnt it!
How can i stop myself from worry???

Wow, that would be amazingly early for AF....have you ever gotten it early like that before? Prime time for implantation and implantation spotting is 7-10dpo, ya know. I will be KFX that this is what it is!!!
I already got AF 11 dpo and 12 dpo too. today is 9dpo if FF is right. having some cramps too.
Lets see what else...breasts a little sensitive (not so much like last month) also I have this heavy feeling way down same place like the cramps. But mostly after I lay down or after I worked much.Feels like Im full with bees again. And so moody too. I get angry real fast.
Oh and for like 4 days now i want coffee all the time. Im not a big coffee drinker so no clue why.
I was sure I get a bfn but now I don't know...unless early AF ?

Hey y'all, good morning! So we DTD again last night--finally got a +opk. Trying to decide when/if to do it again? We did it the 24th, then the 26th (last night) and I *think* I will O tonight/tomorrow (hard to say, but I usually get 24hr of + opks and I think I O the next day?). I am hoping the egg waits until tomorrow to come out so we are in a boy moon sign.
I think you have plenty waiting but if you want to go again for good measure I think that sounds fine :D

I am SO SORRY!!!!!
We have to wait and see what the reserve bank does tuesday hopefully rates dont rise again and drop! We may be able to go on a fixed rate loan and then our increase will go to $40 a week rather than $70.

I am ordering some Blackmores Conceive Well Gold.
My friend used it and she got her boy after 4 girls.
For some reason I feel like it's what I need to take lol. I was going to take it 1 month before trying but I am thinking of starting it now and see if it does change my PH levels.
Also need to start eating meat, potato and veg for dinner everynight.
Been making DH take food to work so he can eat more.
He has been taking L-arg and zinc.
Hows this sway looking so far ?

Is January a boy month?
According to astrology, its not exactly that the whole month is a boy or girl month, its difficult to explain, apparently it changes with days.
This is why when both my gf & i fell pregnant in the same month, she had a boy & i had a girl
To be honest im doubting everything at the moment

I am starting to feel that way too.
But I need to try something, there has to be a reason why I keep having girls.
A lady I know has BGBG
There has to be some reason why some people have an even mix and some people don't, surely it can't just all be down to chance and luck, can it ??
There is a family on tv they had I think 13 boys before they got a girl.

Oh Kris I keep forgetting to post, this is one of the few places in Reno that does optional gender u/s http://www.fetalimagingcenter.net/index.php
It's less then 15 minutes from the Sands so I called them and you won't need any special info/paperwork to get the u/s, just pay the fees which are a bit steep. $150 for 15 min 2D w/dvd or $245 30 min 3D w/dvd.
Sacramento is a huge area with crazy traffic so even a 15 mile drive can take an hour and since you're only there for the day that could take up a huge part of it. I can definitely find you one there but will need an address to find you the closest place :)
Ahh bugger, we got back from America yesterday lol. Thanks so much for looking that up for me though, I really appreciated it! I'll be having a scan next week hopefully :)

So our whole reason for waiting to TTC until November was because all our drinking events would be over. Anyway I have a hens day tomorrow and DH has the bucks day. Needless to say there will be lots of drinking and eating all sorts of unhealthy foods involved. Do you think it would still be ok to try this cycle? I could O anywhere in the next 2 weeks. I really want to try but I don't know if I am just being inpatient?! We're also going to QLD next week and having a wedding the weekend after.
