So our whole reason for waiting to TTC until November was because all our drinking events would be over. Anyway I have a hens day tomorrow and DH has the bucks day. Needless to say there will be lots of drinking and eating all sorts of unhealthy foods involved. Do you think it would still be ok to try this cycle? I could O anywhere in the next 2 weeks. I really want to try but I don't know if I am just being inpatient?! We're also going to QLD next week and having a wedding the weekend after.

Go for it ;)

Did you guys have a good time?

I just watched the dvds of my girls' ultrasounds. They both had definite girl nubs at 12 weeks. Wish I had know about nubs back then, I wouldn't have had to wait so long to find out the gender!

Well looks like no luck for me:sad: my temp is the lowest this month .Going down for 3 days now! (take a look I don't think we get a bfp with temps like this)Yesterday the spotting stop but this morning it's back again.
Temp should have gone up if it's a IB , right?
So I guess it's just early AF spotting? looks like it's all over...:(:SS:

Welcome back, Princess!

Kris, how was your trip to America?

Bec, can you go to those events and just watch what you eat and drink? I bet if you take it easy on all the drinks you will be fine to attempt this month.

TTC5, when do you expect O? Good luck!

We DTD again last night and now we are done. In the 2WW.

Our last attempt last night didn't go as well as the first two attempts--I forgot to use the eggwhites, and then DH didn't wait for me and finished too fast. I added the EW afterwards--do you think that's weird? I don't know why I did it, it was a total impulse, and afterwards I worried I washed all the swimmers out so I put in the instead cup. I feel like it was a wasted attempt really. I hope I didn't screw it all up.

CA- not that I want you to go but the only way I was able to relax with my loss was to leave IG. I didn't come back until after the m/c then came here. Again not telling you to leave but it does help you put the sway behind you :) oh and fwiw both my inlaws smoke and they had 4 boys!

Flava- have you talked to your dr about the super short lp? I've read it can prevent pregnancy by not giving the egg enough time to really borrough in before being flushed away. Come on now no loosing hope till the floodgates open!

Ttc5- fx you can get the lower rate and yeah for full steam ahead on the baby makin' :)

Gizmo- can you imagine standing at the bank and suddenly you egg starts beeping

Love- great start!
You never know what your friend did, maybe just tiny changes in eating and boom boy. Most people don't relate little dietary changes like I made an effort for breakfast to getting a boy. For some it could take as little as a couple hundred extra calories to tip their bodies into feast and typically we don't notice that. My sil conceived my nephew at Christmas so she'd been feasting on holiday foods basically since Thanksgiving but it doesn't even occur to her that it may have played a factor in getting her son.

Light- waiting till 14dpo, you are a beacon of strength lol

Princess- welcome back! Lots of bfp's and 4 boys!

Bec- yeah I'm the dd too

Kris- ah bummer!

Oh darlin don't torture yourself with symptoms. I had very little morning sickness and crappy first trimester skin too. This pregnancy isn't markedly different from my girls, I've had more significant food aversions, that's about it.

Well ladies our days of craziness begins in about 15 minutes. We are trick or treating at the zoo, going to two Halloween parties, baking a gazillion cookies for said parties, getting family pics taken and carving pumpkins. Monday brings school halloween parade and parties then of course actual trick or treating so I may not pop back in till Tuesday. Have a great weekend all and Happy Halloween!!

Hey girlies, how you all doing today? congrats on getting married Kris :)
I did my first ovulation test today lol just wanted to share it, oh it was negative too. I spent ages reading the instructions then staring at the stick, I suppose I had the same sort of anticipation you get when you do a pregnancy test. Pregnancy tests are the only home tests I have ever done before so I was quite nervous. I suppose after you've done it a lot of times the novelty probably wears off right?
I won't be ttc until late December so this is my trial run to see when I ovulate etc I got two periods left to trial run and the diet sway until late December. All this body awareness trying to read my body signs and moods is fun too. I brought some cassava crisps a few days ago just to freak my husband out and I told him they help conceive twins, the expression on his face priceless! I still eat them anyway just to scare him! hahaha anyone else been teasing or freaking out their husbands?

Thats what I was planning to do, but I had read to realease every 2nd day but I thought daily would be best. I was then going to abstain for 3 days before O.
Wasn't sure if we should BD everyday from O or more then once a day or every 2nd day.

Hey girls !
Thank you for all the kind words. So nice...
I was very sad a drunk a bunch of red wine.yeahhh Anyway I never thought this will happen but DH said today he don't to see me sad so we can try again...ok I not sure what to do now...Im on CD3 and was of the diet for like a week.
Is this still could work? Help?
And of course Ruby told me I get a girl in August and this would be an August baby if we try.(I know it's stupid but anyway...)

Just to why Im not sure to do it because I don't want him to say yes just so im not sad...
he said we can be 5little pigs and counting lol .ok whatever dude

Yay Flava! Do it :) One week off won't hurt considering how long you have been on the diet and supps.

Sounds hectic. Hope you had a great weekend! I wish we celebrated Halloween here. I get jealous when I see friends from O/S all dressed up and partying for it!

Welcome back, Princess!

Kris, how was your trip to America?

Bec, can you go to those events and just watch what you eat and drink? I bet if you take it easy on all the drinks you will be fine to attempt this month.

TTC5, when do you expect O? Good luck!

Yeah, that's what I plan to do. But my friends know me too well and will know something is up if I am not keeping up with the drinks. Just have to make up some excuse that probably won't be believed anyway!

Then make a virgin drink, and pretend to be tipsy! The more drunk everyone else gets, they won't notice that you're not. :)

I know my sway didn't work. I think I am pregnant, and I am totally regretting my timing. I knew this would happen. I don't know why I bothered swaying in the first place. :(

Aww, flava! Go for it! About ruby: As you remember, she told me the same thing about a girl in Aug. I asked her again, and she told me boy, getting preg/pos test nov/dec. So either none of it is true, or your prediction can change, so maybe get another reading!

You asked her again and she had no clue about your name , BD ect? cool LOL and she said something different? Makes me feel better.tnx

Hobber - why would you say that? What's wrong with your timing? Didn't you do 3 times around O?

Yes, but I wish we had DTD closer to O the first time, and I am pissed off about the moon being in a girl sign. My cycle changed on me after I planned for an O on CD13, and instead O'ed on CD15. I wish we had been going for the one time BD on O day, and we could have skipped this cycle, but I decided that several BD's would be better, so we had already BDed once by the time I figured out the timing was going to be wrong, and at that point I couldn't go back.

Today is CD18. I am just unhappy with the timing (read above post) and I am just feeling negative... I mean, why WOULD it work? I am not that lucky, and I don't know why I tempted fate by trying to do this. Nothing ever goes my way, so I am sure this won't either. :(

So if you don't know when you will O this cycle are you just going to guess when 3 days before your BD attempt will be?

Last month I used the cbfm and got 3 days high before the peak. So praying I get the same this time. Soon as we get the first high we will stop dh releasing and then release on the peak. WDYT guys?

is my bio chart O would be on 11-12-13? ( I hope)
What is that boy or girl zone? Please take a look. Blue and green are up top red is down.

I'm guessing the 11th is an ever so slight girl lean as the red line is right on the centre line and 12 and 13 are leaning boy. Also, is the white circle a full moon? I thought it was a new moon and the grey one was a full moon?

When is your August baby's birthday, flava? Did you conceive her in November? My son was born in August (conceived in Dec) so August can be a boy month too. :)

Go for it Bec, but try to not drink anymore :D
