Nacire – concentration of hcg can vary so much, even with similar holds – if you drank only one glass more – or you held 1 hour less etc – plus tests can vary in their reactivity – I def see something esp on the bottom one – so def not out! Will check your temps – are they still nice and high?
Def try to test again as am sure you will see change – big hugs!

Lola – always there to reassure others so lovely! ;) how are you feeling? How far along are you now?

Ash – when did you end up having your 1st trimester scan booked? Was it 1st week of July?

Sky – DD is good, she has phases of tantrums that are out of proportion the last few days, it’s hard to manage – but I think she struggles with her emotions at times, she is just like her mum, an extreme – when she’s happy she’s elated, when she’s grumpy she’s a pain :rofl: and because we are so similar, it clashes between us lol I’m good thanks – had a chat with hubs last night and kinda briefed him that we just need more BD – only told him I was upset as this month would have been just soooo perfect timing… no mention of eod or bd plans per se though, don’t want him to feel any pressure :P
You’re only what, 10 days away from your appointment now? Counting down has begun!

My doctor actually got me to do 25 so half a tab for 3 days, and that was enough for me to ovulate and conceive my girls – and I had massive pains with that low dosage – is the pain ok for you?

LMSM - Thank you! If I did indeed ovulate around June 10th. I’m suppose to have probability of implantation yesterday or today ( being the most common) or tomorrow. I had a temp drop, but assumed it could be implantation dip?.. I’m expecting it to rise back tomorrow.

Nacire – implantation could be very recent indeed! When are you going to test next? Are you giving yourself a day break and test again or trying again today? Hanging on the edge for you but certainly looks like you are pregnant, just a matter of actually being with high enough hcg in your system for the tests to pick it up consistently! ;)

I guess if no AF tomorrow morning and temp still high-ish might try another IC – I will be 12dpo by then so if negative I can know for sure I am out ;) I did bring in some protection in case AF does show up today though – last cycle it did even though the temp was still super high that very morning so can’t hold my breath quite yet either way ^^
Edited to say – tmi but just had a tiiiny bit of beige spotting – so will likey get af in the next 12-48h max- that’s been the pattern the last 3-4 months so I guess it’s pretty clear am out for good so no testing tomorrow :(

Tbh - am really not keen to get on Clomid (gave away the last I had left to a lovely lady ;) ) – it would imply going back to the fertility specialist and am not keen to start that process – especially since I seemed ok when we did my last bloodworks in March so doubt he will give me anything quite yet – it may be hubs that is not as top notch anymore – his last SA dates back 5 years and he is not keen to get sucked into fertility processes again … :( admittedly have considered it but I guess I would like to see what happens. Will likely continue TTC until Sept then have a break until earlier in 2018 – so we can maybe look at going down the RE path again and do all analysis etc in the interim.
Realistically this is only my 2nd cycle of actively trying – it’s NOTHING – even if you super fertile women make me look like a slow horse :rofl:
Heck if I fell pregnant within 5-6 cycles I would say that is falling pregnant super-fast (for me) – so here’s to being positive ;) and I bought myself a stepper with resistance bands – so will get onto a more active exercise regime to build some muscle!

Also – you need to get an expectorant (which loosens mucus) cough syrup – it needs to have guanafesin as main active ingredient.
Because Clomid tends to dry out your CM, it helps “liquefy” all your mucus – including your CM – helping make sure it isn’t too compact/dry for swimmers to make their way through and onto the egg ;)
Edit: seems Kat found one that is easily available in the USA for you – that would be perfect! ;)

Oh and PBN if you're around - since I know you are doing the NIPT – could I ask you a couple of questions since you are in QLD too?
I already asked the ultrasound place where we usually do our ob u/s as they do offer nipt – and they usually recommend coming in at 10 weeks do an ultrasound to confirm viability and then they draw the bloods at the office – then you come back for the nuchal a few weeks later. But to avoid having to pay a looot of money for a quick scan at 10weeks (they are probs the most exxy u/s place in Brisbane but are fantastic!) I said that I would do a scan with my fertility specialist around 8 weeks to confirm viability anyways…so, I was thinking come in just to do the bloods at 10 weeks – then come back around 12.5w to get results (including of the Pappa bloods) and the nuchal scan, and discuss the combined results..
Sounds like it could be done that way? How did you do it? I know you see an ob so may make it all a bit different but thought I’d ask (this is part of me being positive it will happen soon and planning that way! Lol)

If they insist on the scan with the blood draw, I'd go elsewhere to get just the bloods done as it costs enough for it let alone paying for another scan on top of it. I'm having nipt bloods done through Qml (I'll be 10w5d I think?) and have booked a nuchal scan for 11w6d. I'm only getting the basic nipt done ($395) which is processed in Australia, if you go down the road of gen plus ($550) the sample is sent overseas and takes longer for results. I wonder if your going to the ultrasound place my ob sent me (apparently one of the best) to last year in Brisbane (to confirm loss) as I had to go to a family reunion and had family flying in from Melbourne and Adelaide so had to have my miscarriage at my mums during the reunion. That was fun I tell ya, not!!! Especially because it didn't go straightforward but anyway..... past is past and I digress badly from the topic at hand 😂

Thanks hon – the cost is $420 (just checked – it’s gone up from last time I checked which I am sure was just under 400) I think ;)
So-gi is the name of the place ..the lady said it was fine to have the fert spec u/s to confirm viability – and could just do my bloods with them. But since I would want results before my nuchal scan if possible, will def book for 10 weeks to come and get bloods done there then come back some weeks later for the actual scan etc. I work in the city so it’s not too bad a commute to get there ^^
I’m sorry about your miscarriage and how it went on :( that would have been terrible – I’ve only ever gone through one and I can honestly say it scarred me for life, I was a zombie for months….

That one (my 2nd) was definately the worst and the circumstances that went along with it is what really messed with my head, I won't rehash all the shitty details but it really knocked me around mentally, like I've never been before and I had quite the crappy childhood. By the 3rd loss I kinda was like ok that's that and came through it just fine :) I think a deep and strong resilience can stem from overcoming trauma and can be very empowering. Not sure if any of that makes sense but it does to me. I may be a little cray cray though 😂😂😂

PBN – no that totally makes sense – I think events like this rock us to the core, and I never thought I would be so moved by it – but I was, & so shaken with grief I could barely function - my husband had to shake me out of it reminding me I had a small baby that needed her mummy, and omg that was the biggest wake up call to tell me I had been missing out on her, that she was there and I was “not” – I still cry at times now, 3 years on –it’s part of your history, and the precious bundle you carry now will help you close that chapter and open one of only happiness – one that allows you to see that yes you can carry a beautiful baby to term, like you have before – miscarriage shakes that belief in oneself, I know I hated myself my body for not being able to keep my own baby safe – having DD2 partially healed that…it’s still a long journey I think.
To have overcome what you have, to be as generous as you are every day with all around you – including us, perfect stranger – like Sky said, that is huge.

Pbn, I had no idea the losses you've suffered. I'm so sorry for all you've been through. Before I read the pages and caught up, I had gotten on here to tell you I'm so excited! I believe I just had implantation bleeding!? I know that sounds crazy, but I did have implantation bleeding with my first daughter. Pink spotting about a week to 10 days after cd14 (I never tracked o, but my cycle was 28 days regularly so I always assumed o was cd14). I never noticed it with dd2 or had anything like it ever before, nor did I ever have it after. But when I wiped it was most definitely pink spotting, 6.5dpo... Could this be it???

It did make sense to me. I didn't do it since always had good Ewcm but I read a zillion posts about having O for blue. So made sure I did that. Didn't want to leave out anything from my end. Im very tempted to do 8dpo, but I only have 4 tests.. So I will have to stick it out and aim for 9, 10, 11, 12dpo.. as 12dpo is when af is due (or not!?) :D
I have clear blue pregnancy tests, the one that shows a + for positive.

I don't know.. I will think on it :) You said it takes 2 days after implantation to detect HGC right? It's 2am here so I got the spotting about 6 and a half days after o.. (unless I o'd the same day as positive opk, then it's 7 and a half dpo). Either way 2 days time will put me in afternoon, but my tests say to use fmu..

2-3 days so best wait till 9dpo then 😩 plus I'm not sure on the sensitivity of those tests you have but pretty sure they'd be 25mIU+...... if you'd be bummed seeing a bfn at 8dpo then hold off, and don't forget implantation can take up to a couple days so don't feel bummed if 9dpo is bfn as well!

When we bd'ed a week and half after my AF returned the opk's were all negative. Two weeks later they started getting darker and darker. Oh just remember the first pregnancy that I took was two and half weeks ago and it was negative..My gut told me to take it.

I also am thinking/ hoping you implanted later than you thought.. I think this is good news! A faint positive at 12dpo is completely normal for many women. Is it concerning you because of a past chemical, or do you just feel something isn't right?

Unfortunately, given how faint the lines are (it's hard to even capture on camera), it's not looking good. I'm having terrible cramping and temps went down yesterday, so I do think AF is coming either today/tomorrow. It's just so frustrating to see these lines and know that it isn't going to stick...

A chemical means that the egg was fertilized and implantation was/is being attempted but for whatever reason it doesn't stick. I hope it gets darker for you hun :)

Nacire, glad to see that you're being so positive! I too think that you might just have to give it a few days, but do NOT believe that positive was a fluke. It made me so sad for you when I read that you're tests were now coming back negative, but just hang in there. It must be very frustrating! Maxim this is why I keep saying implantation generally occurs between 6-10dpo but can be even later. Max your cramps, temp dropping and coming back up like that could easily be implantation which at 9/10/11dpo is within completely normal range!!!! Which is also why you'd only have a very faint line which yes I could see too! I am really looking forward to your next few days testing!

Ladies you all have to stop thinking that if you haven't gotten a bfp by 9dpo that you are out!!! It really makes no sense and makes me want to ban early testing! Feeling defeated before implantation may have even taken place is so heart breaking. My new mission is going to be to encourage testing from 11dpo onwards and not before and I apologize for all the early testing I have been encouraging ❤

LMSM - Thanks so much! Hearing about termites leaves a bad taste in my mouth :( We've had termites for the past 3 months:sad: maybe even more. They are in our lower kitchen cabinets, and dishwasher.. Maintenance and Pest control came out for the issue to basically verify that its termites, but still waiting on the Housing office to fix the problem. First they said they have to move us to a hotel or temp house to do the work. The stories keep changing, and I'm so over it already :( I think your temps look good today :) I am super hopeful you will get a bfp soon :) :)

Lmsm: Thank you! Of course I just had to look up pink spotting on Google and some other things than can cause it is small amounts of bleeding from the cervix. Which I had my iud removed in February because it was embedded in my cervix and then for a while there after my cervix wouldn't stop bleeding. At one point the er thought they would have to cauterize it, but I dodged that bullet thankfully. So of course now I have convinced myself it was not implantation bleeding. :worry: but still, I have never ever had pink spotting except with the implantation of dd1. And this time it occured exactly 7days after positive opk and bd. I don't know what's wrong with me why I can't just stay the hell of google instead of messing with my own mind like this.

Pbn: I'm sorry but I'm still testing at 9dpo lol. I have 4 tests so my last one will fall on 12dpo, which is when af is due so I'll find out one way or another by then anyway. I totally agree we shouldn't get so down when we test so early and get a negative. After all isn't 9dpo usually the absolute earliest you can get a positive, where most don't until 11-14dpo??

Ttc-9dpo sounds like a great plan since at 7dpo you may have had your implantation bleeding (fx). I had a dip & cramps, so I believe I had implantation at 7dpo as well. I didn't get my BFP on a wondfo & osom until 9dpo, so I suggest testing again in the evening if you have a lot of tests. You can get a pack of wondfos for really cheap on Amazon!

Nacire: I feel normal, except (I don't know why it took me so long to realize this because I was even talking to some others about this not long ago) I get really dizzy when I stand up. I know that doesn't sound like much, but that was the first sign with both my girls. Both pregnancies I had low blood pressure the entire time so I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but the dizziness is there! I can't believe I over looked it until tonight.
How are you feeling? That's great that your Temps are still up! I think at the point you are at I would be testing daily too. I don't think anyone would blame you. :)

Was it you that I was talking to about the dizzy spells? How soon did you notice the dizziness? Just wondering if this is due to a random drop in blood pressure, possible very early pregnancy symptom, or something else entirely. Although I do feel hopeful because, me personally, I have never had the dizzies unless pregnant. :)

AFM - so exhausted....big week at work! 2 days to go though.....so close! I'm CD 10 today and hanging to O! With my first DS on clomid I ovulated on CD13, last time CD17. Going to DTD tonight and the next one should be the one!!! Yay :)

If someone has had a recent miscarriage/chemical, then it may take some time for hcg to leave the system, but it really seems like you're detecting the early stages of pregnancy if it starts to darken over the next few days! I def see it on your test, you're not seeing things. The wondfos & old style frer's are really sensitive. I've never tried them, but I've heard the dollar store cheapies are pretty good.

For me, my wondfo opks all started out dark and weren't positive until the test line was much darker than the control. Ash-I'm loving your theory! Fx that's the case! That would give you an O-3 attempt right?, which is completely possible ...maybe some of those swimmers kept swimming lol. The implantation just a little later is also a good theory! If you implanted on June 19, your tests are totally in line with how they should look. I hope, in this case that it is a healthy pregnancy not a chemical and that we won't be cycle buddies ...but if we are, very happy to be your side to see your BFP :) big hugs limbo is the worst

For Clomid, I think early intake = possibly more quantity ( i.e you "recruit" more potential eggs to help them mature) vs later intake= better quality, so you only recruit ( ie stimulate) the already naturally better ones...I think??? Lol I had cd3-5 protocol so can't really advise..maybe the ladies following one or the other ATM can clarify :)

I hope it was just too early.. and honestly early tests can be so hard to read as lines can be difficult to truly see ;)you seem to have a lot of positive symptoms so fx!!

Taking Clomid 3-7 can move up your O date. It also allows for more time for Clomid to help mature an egg.

Max- I started taking Clomid 3-7, then 2-6, and then 1-5. My first cycle I didn't respond well to it and was told it could take a cycle before it worked. My RE wanted me to take it earlier and earlier because the Clomid wasn't moving my O date up. I was having SUPER long cycles with delayed O. After my first Clomid cycle, I began to O before CD20. My second cycle I only produced one egg and my third cycle I had many with one very healthy egg. I got pregnant the cycle after my last Clomid one, and we believe it did cause my eggs to mature better than without having taken it.

Ash, I didn't even take a picture this morning because there wasnt even anything to squint at lol. I'll wait 2 days and take my last first response on Saturday with fmu. :) The dizziness only hit me for 2 days, it was gone the day following the pink spotting. I read online a lot of women experience dizziness about a week after o that can be associated with implantation. Unfortunately I found nothing about whether or not the dizziness usually subsides after implantation or not. I'm going to try not to get my hopes up because the more I convince myself this is it, the more I slack on he diet. I would hate to blow all my progress just to find out that I've m not conceived.

Max, I'm so sorry. It must be terrible to see lines that won't darken and be left to wonder. I hate this for you. I hope the clomid will help you like it does for so many others. I think I would maybe start waiting to miss af before testing, as not to get false hopes and avoid the heartache.. that's just my own personal view, I dont want you to feel like I'm telling you what to do or anything. I just hate seeing you go through this. How many times has this happened? I'm still praying af does not arrive for you! Sending you :heart: :heart: :heart: !

I found this neat calculator that tells you what day you can get a positive hpt based on all your personal cycle info. I guess every pregnancy starts of at a different level of hcg at implantation, and there's no way to know what yours might be. That makes a big difference when it comes to the rate that it doubles.. and if you have one little piece of info wrong in the calculator (like o day) that sets it off too. But I just thought this was so neat and seeing it all laid out like this really helps me to understand why early testing can't usually detect the pregnancy.. Just thought I'd leave the link incase anyone wants to try it. :)

Thank you guys, appreciate your thoughtful comments! I spoke with my RE and she wants me to come in for labs as well as an u/s after I O next cycle to measure my lining. She said that could be part of the problem - possibly having an egg fertilize, but the lining is too thin to fully implant (?). She also wants me to take femera instead of clomid in case there is an issue with my lining. I think this equally sways pink, so that's good. I feel good knowing that I'll have some more testing and have a medicated cycle, but I can't help but be upset that this is happening again. And now my girls will be 6 & 8 when/if a baby is born. This month would have been a 7 year age gap instead of 8. I know that's meaningless, but I already feel it's a huge gap and the whole process is messing with me a bit.

TTC, sorry about the negative. I might hold off as well next cycle until 14dpo...

This is what I was hoping my OB would prescribe-it has less side effects & sways pink too! Although multiples are possible, there is less of a chance!! Don't worry about the age gap, your daughters will be the perfect mommy's helpers!! This is going to sound silly, but I always wanted twins, but since I have 2 close in age & one more on the way...I say, at least I won't have an empty nest with kiddos leaving at the same time after high school haha! Skyblue - Hi! I’m doing pretty good :) Thanks for asking! My temp is high. I’ve never ever had a temp in the past this high. I hope it’s a good thing :) I’ve tested every single morning and think I never ovulated when I think I did. I pulled the old positive test and FF said I ovulated on the 16th which does makes sense :) I’m acting like I’m 6dpo instead of 12dpo.. Only time will tell if af decides to show up.

What type of first response did you get-the curved, rapid result or older style straight type? The older straight type are super sensitive and it's harder to find them. We're finding that the curved ones aren't as sensitive as the older type, but they are good for monitoring progression with lines getting darker after BFP. Wondfos will detect early, but don't get darker right away. The first response rapid result (FRRR) has a sensitivity of 50 miu, so they're not as sensitive.

Im for sure not talking any tomorrow. I haven't decided yet if I will test Saturday/Sunday or just wait and see if AF arrives on Monday.. This whole cycle I thought I was supposed to start Sunday, looked at the calendar again and realized it's due Monday. Talk about setting myself up for disappointment. I spoke too soon about the dizziness being gone, I noticed it briefly a few times today.
And I have this"tugging" in my abdomen that feels like I did a ton of sit ups. I think it's from heavy lifting while doing yard work.. but has anyone else ever noticed this around the time of possible implantation? I've had it for 2 days following the spotting so I'm starting to worry. :S

I got the curved one.... FRRR. Great!!! Stupid google told me they were best, with sensitivity of 6.3! I couldn't find it anywhere on the box or instructions though. Looks like I'm just going to wait to see if I get af. This is exhausting me.
