DreamingRainbow looking at the chart you posted earlier it looks like your dip was at 6 dpo yea? I think that is more in the implantation dip time frame.

Sent from my SM-G900T using TapatalkOh. I just saw that the day before dipped also and then the bigger dip. I was only counting the day after the red lines. I'm new to all of this and am lost [emoji848]

Hi ladies! I am looking to join the December ttc thread when one is started! I just came off a chemical and am waiting one full cycle and then ttc blue the end of December!! Just out of curiosity, do you ladies think this is positive?? It’s from yesterday, cd 13 after a chemical.

Abc a low temp can absolutely be from open mouth breathing, that's why I switched to vaginal temping :) I'd honestly just give the temping away now as you plan to ditch it anyway right? Plus you'll be getting a bfp in a weeks time anyway [emoji6]

Girlswaylondon and Noemi - fx for both you ladies!!!

Msmarie not sure you remember me from sticking my nose in your previous ddg thread but just wanted to say it's great to hear from you!! Dreaming I know you didn't want to but I'd be testing before going away.... your chart is looking really good. If you test before you go away at least if its a bfn you can truly enjoy yourself and not worry about what you eat or drink. Otherwise I'd be erring on the side of caution and limiting alcohol as much as possible as it wont be worth the worry you'll feel if you do overindulge and end up with a bfp when you get back. Its entirely up to you, just thought I'd put it out there....

Hi dreaming, Marie and pbn!
Been stalking you all lately. Super excited for you both. All the best with upcoming birth pbn and dreaming I wish you a BFP.
I’m on a the ttc boy sway journey as well. Just started feeding myself. Etc etc. If it’s any consolation to a bfn, I’ll be here if it’s a bfn. We can always check up on each other and motivate each other this DEC. I notice there’s more people trying to sway girls than boys btw. Interesting.
All the best everyone!

Does anyone know if it's bad for conception to take Dayquil and or other cold meds? I ovulated yesterday and have been super sick with a bad cold. I have to take Dayquil to get through the day. Will this affect my chances to conceive? Such terrible timing!

Robin depending how long you take it, it should be out of your system by implantation? If you're only 1dpo then your at least 5 days away from realistically the earliest implantation begins so if you take it for a few days I'm sure it'd be out of your system by then? Maybe just check with your RE/obgyn to be on the safe side though.

Night night everyone [emoji42]

Robin I was taking tons of meds when I conceived my youngest son, I was sick and had allergies. We were able to conceive him and he’s a happy 22 month old!

Dreaming your chart looks so promising, I can’t wait for you to test!

Girlsway I am so sorry about your bfn [emoji17] they are so disheartening. Do you think you’ll add in more attempts next cycle?

For those that asked, I probably won’t post a sway, just because I really didn’t sway, haha. I don’t want to mess up the statistics. I came here maybe wanting a girl, but it’s not a very strong desire. I wanted to be pregnant more than trying to have a girl, and I ended up loving this community [emoji5] so I really was quite lazy and am already preparing to have another boy, haha!

Welcome, Filzma! Sending you my boy dust too!!!!

Robin, yay you're in the tww!!!! How many attempts did you get in? I'm sorry about your cold :( I have no idea about the cold meds - did you check with your doc?

Pbn - Doc will probably call tomorrow with progesterone result. I took my temp this morning (I know, I know - I shouldn't have but I wanted to make sure yesterday was a fluke), and it was really high!!!! I think the highest BBT I've seen. Maybe a good sign? Hi everyone!

this month was our first attempt for ttc boy. it was unexpected and I was unprepared! one day after a presumptive + opk we unexpectedly had unsafe sex. on CD13 I had a + opk and on CD14 and CD16 we had unsafe sex. I had intended to use preseed, but because it was unexpected, I did not have a preseed at home. actually month of December would be the first month for the first attempt. I had planned to have three attempts after a + opk. as you can read, my "plan" has gone differently. I'm now on CD26! I have followed the HE diet for months to the present. I hope I am pregnant! I want to wait with testing until Sunday. I notice that I have a lot of cm compared to before ovulation! I am tired all day and cramps in my stomach. hopefully these are positive symptoms and I do not picture myself! I will be so disappointed and sad with a bfn

Sent from my SM-G900I using TapatalkWhat are repeat betas? My consultant has said I can have weekly scans for reassurance which is great. I'll just have to hope and pray !

Repeat betas is bloodwork done to test hcg is doubling every 48 hours in early pregnancy. Less than doubling mostly (but not always) indicates a non viable pregnancy. Only useful in early pregnamcy though as the doubling lengthens as the pregnancy progresses :)

Ah! Ive never had them done. My mmc's happened during week 10 (x2) and week 17. Think the scans will be more beneficial for me and I'd start scanning weekly from week 10.

OMG what a hellish last few hours. Went to my obgyn's office to get my progesterone blood draw. Took DS1 with me. It's about a 40 min or so drive each way. When in the office, I noticed DS seemed warm & he said he didn't feel good. On the way home he whined the whole way. We were two minutes from home and he vomits ALL over himself and his carseat and a little on the seat of the car. I get him out - get the car seat out and stripped down, get everything in the washer, and the washer knob breaks. DH and I were frantically watching YouTube videos trying to fix it (short summary - we temporarily got washer to run, sort of, but need to order a new knob). DS1 has temp of 101 degrees F and is now in bed. Poor guy. And my house is a mess.

Sigh. On the plus side, I was very distracted from my tww for a few hours :(

Ikwym dreaming, its not easy. In your position, the honest truth is I probably would not raise my hopes until after 12 weeks. So definitely understand. The only thing you can do is make sure you keep up that diet and get loads of rest. You can only do so much. Xxx

Abc and girlsway sway in sorry [emoji17] but you're not out till af arrives. Could levels just be slow to rise maybe?
Abc I tested at 12dpo and line is so faint, maybe youre testing too early?

Filzma I assume the bloods will just show pregnancy hormone? My losses have been late enough (10weeks and 17) so my worry will truly kick in at the 9 week mark !

I phoned my consultant today to advise I'm pregnant (haven't even told dh yet!) He has prescribed baby aspirin and cyclogest (probably spelling wrong as haven't googled this yet!) Pressaries and I start both at 5 weeks. I have a scan at 7 weeks (Christmas week) and then meet consultant early on at 9 weeks to map out our plan to get this baby to term. He has offered me weekly scans if I want for reassurance which is great!
So I've bought clearblue digital test and will do this eve. I won't lie- I'm worried it'll say I'm not pregnant !

I was just watching a YouTube video where the lady says AF delayed and tests showed bfn but after a week or so bfp! Could be the HCG levels are still low?

Girlswaylondon our cycles have away of messing with us when we are watching them so closely [emoji30] If your lp is usually 12/13 days and you're 13dpo then you should be getting af by tomorrow. I can clearly remember my af coming later and later in the day instead of first thing in the morning and it never failed to throw me for a loop and would have me testing or going out to buy some more tests which inevitability were bfns. Very deflating experience. Hang in there and hopefully you'll have an answer by tomorrow. While you would think you'd have at least a faint line by now there are always exceptions and implantation can and does happen later than the general 6-10dpo (up to 12dpo is quite normal) [emoji173]

Thanks pbn! Usually af comes on 13dpo and I never know if that’s a 12 or 13 day LP?!
I definitely noticed getting my af later in the day since swaying it’s 9pm where I am now and usually here by now! But I think you’re right and af will show tomorrow!

I noticed that too...LP is longer 1 day since im swaying, before it was 11days now 12-13

Dreaming, do you already feel some symptoms??Hi momwithlove. No major symptoms yet. I'm freezing (due to thyroid. And pregnancy makes me so cold) I am crazy emotional! I'm crying over things at a drop of a hat (I am not a crier normally).

Hi dreaming are you taking levothyroxine if you don’t mind me asking? How many mgs? This is the first time ttc while hypothyroid too.

So another day and still no AF?! I had a tiny tiny bit of spotting and then nothing!! My periods are usually extremely heavy the first day!

Do you think maybe the le diet has messed my cycle slightly? I just want af to be over with so I can start with December :(

Girlswaylondon I'm sorry this is happening. Is it possible you oed a couple days later than you think? Your not charting are you? Can you give a quick run down what cd pos opk was on, what opks you were using, any noticable cramps/change to cm, what cd you are now and how long your cycle usually is? LE can definately affect your cycle. Was the spotting red on colour? Only when you wipe?

My cycles are 31 days long, I ovulated cycle day 18, got blazin pos opk (internet cheapie) cycle day 17 had extremely fertile cm the two days leading up to that! (Literally needed a pad tmi!!) had o pains which I get every month the day after my pos opk.

It’s not bright red more pink/brown and only when I wipe!

Thanks again for your quick reply, really do appreciate it!

I’m 14dpi today and usually get my period 12/13dpo!

Pbn3
December 2nd, 2017, 05:32 PM
Hmmm ok pink/brown is usually how implantation spotting is described and LE diet 'usually' affects a cycle by shortening it not lengthening it..... IF this is implantation spotting then you wont see a bfp for another 2-3 days on a sensitive hpt. Was it you that's using the 10mIU ones? Don't get your hopes up too high but dont lose hope yet either. You may be in for a wonderful surprise or you may simply be experiencing a wonky cycle. Either way, unless AF arrives in the meantime you may have another couple days of WTH!!! to get through but we'll be here cheering you on and hoping for the best possible outcome [emoji173]

Thank pbn, I don’t have my hopes up at all, I’m more worried I’ve messed my half regular cycles up with the diet!!
I don’t have any cramps either which I always do when af just begins, plus I think 14dpo is way too late for IB do you think?
Damn my cycles!! Typical that they mess up once I think I got it all figured out lol!

Pbn3
December 2nd, 2017, 05:42 PM
14dpo is definately not too late for implantation. Generally it takes place between 6-10dpo and up to 12dpo is considered completely normal. 14dpo I imagine would not be super uncommon either. I've read countless stories of late bfps. Xxforhubby couldn't get a line until 21dpo on one of her pregnancies. As long as af hasn't arrived there is still every chance [emoji173]

I’m also worried I didn’t ovuLate but that’s highly unlikely right? Giving the overload of EWCM and blazing opk?!

I’ve lost a good amount of weight on the pcos le diet but my bmi is still in healthy range! So hoping that isn’t the cause either!

21dpo!? Blimey how stressful! D:

I’m sorry to be the negative one, but I’m guessing it’s af. Most of my periods start with spotting, nothing for awhile, then the true flow starts. I’ll have light spotting for a whole day sometimes. Given the fact that you know when you probably O’ed and you’re 14 dpo, it’s unlikely to be IB. Sorry again for being a downer, I just think the facts point to af and don’t want to get your hopes up. My October cycle was ridiculous, my LP was 15 days...crazy how that happens when we start to watch them closely.

No need to be sorry Greydore [emoji3] we were saying earlier not to get hopes up as it could very well (likely) be a wonky cycle, but implantation can happen at 14dpo, it's certainly outside the 'average' but it does happen. I agree the spotting will likely turn into af but alas there's always hope until then [emoji173]

I didn’t have my hopes up I knew because of the bfns I wasn’t pregnant was just freaking out incase I hadn’t ovulated this month and I was so sure!

Turns out I did and af arrived in the night! So weirdly I’m quite happy I was right about ovulating or it would have thrown me off!

Can finally start on December now! Thanks again, pbn :)

Hi dreaming are you taking levothyroxine if you don’t mind me asking? How many mgs? This is the first time ttc while hypothyroid too.Hi Filzma. No probs at all, ask away. Yes I'm taking eltroxin. My thyroid stopped working in 1st trimester with my 2nd child. I have continues taking eltroxin ever since (sometimes hypothyroidism can just be pregnancy related but unfortunately my levels never returned post pregnancy)
In my hospital they recommend you up your daily dose by 25-30% once you get bfp. I take 50mg daily so now I take 75. I will get my bloods tested monthly (I'm insisting on this due to 2 mmcs this year) when my hypothyroidism was 1st discovered 2 years ago i was put on 100mg immediately and for the whole pregnancy. It worries me that i have had 2 pregnancies (and miscarried both) since and I was only on 75mg each time. Hence I am insisting on my levels being tested monthly. I cannot face another miscarriage.
I never realised how big a role thyroid plays in pregnancy. Have you got bfp? If yes then I would recommend phoning your hosp soonest xx

Mine was pregnancy related as well together with hypocortisolism. Just never came back. I see an endo who insisted that as soon as I see a bfp to call her within that week. There is a high chance of mmc with hypothyroidism so that does make me worry quite a bit actually.
I’m still swaying this and part of next month. Also trying to track everything for the first time and kind of get a grip of things. So not yet [emoji4]
I agree, try get an appointment ASAP. I wish you all the best. Don’t take no for an answer. Keep us posted! Xx

Please do join the group so I can keep tabs on you [emoji6][emoji16]!!! The nervousness likely won't let up anytime soon [emoji17] all you can do is try and get through a day at a time. Are you getting nipt testing done? I found getting the all clear from that more comforting than even my 12w scan. I was convinced for ages that I was heading towards my 4th loss. Especially when I was experiencing a lack of consistent symptoms and bad cramping/pains. I even went to A&E to check bub still had a heartbeat the cramping got that bad..... I found the nipt results combined with the 12w scan results lifted a huge weight off my shoulders and I finally began to feel positive instead!

Regular scanning sounds great to help try keep your anxiety in check! Nipt is the non invasive prenatal testing. I opted to get an advanced one (due to my age) as it checks for the usual abnormalities/chromosomal issues as well as the rarer but risk increases with age ones. Its a blood test that separates bubs genetic matter from our blood to test it and is very accurate. Second trimester losses are rarer though (were they able to tell you what happened) so I'm not sure nipt would be of any benefit to you anxiety wise.....

As for exercise how about pregnancy yoga/pilates etc? Something for both mind and body that wont increase body heat like running does?

Sent from my SM-G900I using TapatalkAh that could be like our nuchal test where they test for some syndromes like downs(It's an additional charge but we do this for each pregnancy).
Yes the cause of my 2nd trimester loss was due to a hypercoiled cord. My baby was perfect, it was the cord which cut off his blood supply.

Hmmm the nuchal scan and downs blood test is standard each pregnancy, the NIPT is quite pricey and there's several different kinds. I did Generation Plus, but there's ones like Panorama? available? If you're interested whether its something done where you are then maybe google?

Oh gosh I'm so sorry about your baby boy dreaming [emoji22] have they said whether there's any increased risk with future pregnancies or was it a rare random terrible thing that just happened?

Sent from my SM-G900I using TapatalkThey said it's really rare to happen and liklihood of it happening again is like lightning striking twice but this is also why they have advised to stop exercising. To let my body focus on the pregnancy and not stress it further.
It's horrible although I suppose at least we know as they did say in most cases they don't find a cause of death. Plus we refused an autopsy on baby.
We can now get the panorama blood test (It's sent to the uk) it's really expensive.
We will need to decide which test to do (nuchal or panorama) as I'll have to book in for it.
