I'll do that, thanks. I actually really hate temping. The anticipation (close to O), makes my sleep restless, and I wake up too much because we co sleep with my kicking toddler. I can't wait to ditch this! I think I'm finally in the 2WW. Fx! When do I start testing for pregnancy?

A FRER (first response early result) has a really low sensitivity level, meaning it should theoretically pick the hcg up first.

Hubs and I had a weekend away for a wedding and had sex a couple of times. Planning on doing e4d, both 72&96 hr version. I have adopted this in between 72-96 depending on work schedules, performance anxiety, etc.

No I don't think it would affect a sway hgmama other than increase your bodies receptiveness to sperm. Atomic does have ladies begin with just one protected attempt at pos opk initially as this would be the most hostile environment but I've not seen many at all get pregnant this way, usually it's once said person has switched to e4d...

I wouldn't worry about your pattern. Atomic said I could do whatever BD pattern I wanted up until my one TTC attempt.

My update :
So I suspect I ovulated yesterday evening (CD 33), and hence today's temperature was very important to confirm that! And as luck would have it, I'm in a world of ambiguity!
I went to bed at 2 am last night. Woke up at 4.45am to pee. Took my BBT before getting up to the bathroom. Temp was around 96.7 (close to yesterday's temp). I went back to sleep and woke again at 6.50 am. I temped again, without waking up and it showed a spike of 97.4, which would likely confirm yesterday's ovulation. I usually temp around this time. But will this be accurate, given it was after only 2 hours of sleep? If I go with the earlier 96.7 temp, then it does not confirm ovulation. CB tested negative yesterday night, and strips showed positive during the day yesterday. CD 32 was my first +ve OPK.
Here is my chart below, by logging in the higher temp. Based on my OPK s, and CM, I do believe I might have O yesterday. But the inconsistency between the two Temps confuses me! What do I go with?

Did you experience any symptoms just a few dpo? I know until implantation it's unlikely to feel anything really. But the tired and sleepy part is very real to me and not in my head!

Aw, thanks, HDP! Yep! I got my "pregnant" on CB and missed AF on Sunday so it's officially official!

I was tired around CD 8-10 and just thought it was because I was busy. I don't usually nap but was so tired I had to. That's stayed consistent! I also had breast pain, I always do around AF but it was more burning the closer I got to AF!

My mom also told me (after I told her I was)she wondered if I was pregnant because my boobs has gotten bigger! Which is weird, but hilarious!

I will be sad if I don't fall pregnant, but at least I'll know that I had a fair chance and tried at the right time. The rest is up to chance and God! But knowing that your shooting in the dark was very maddening for an OCD person like myself! :) I do feel so bad for all the women that have trouble ovulating each month and are stuck in uncertainty! Pink dust and big fat positives to everyone that is trying!

Hi everyone,

I don't post on here often but thought I could use the support this month. We had a chemical preg that ended in April and have been TTC just the past two months (took April off from TTC). I really thought May would be our month but AF showed up two days early (which NEVER happens to me lol). Just finished TTC this month, I am on CD18. Hubby has been working crazy hours do to storms (he's a powerline technician) but we've done the deed as much as we can. I was swaying girl but decided to give that up this month as we were on vacation for half the month and I/we needed the break. Hoping that June is our month but also not feeling very hopeful.

Question for all of you: I had positive OPKs for three days in a row. Today is day three and the line is just as strong as it was three days ago. Had ovulation type pains yesterday so I think I ovulated yesterday but I'm a little concerned about having the prolonged LH surge. Could this indicate my body is just amping up and I'm not actually ovulating?

Without temping babygirlwishing its impossible to know unfortunately [emoji17] However a 3 day surge is not uncommon! An opk cant tell you if you've oed either, only that your lh has peaked [emoji4] you can get a pos opk followed by negative and still not have oed or you can get a pos opk after oing. That's why your first pos opk is considered your 'proper' one. Did you have a proper af one just gone? Opks can pick up hcg and pos opks for days in a row can often mean you're already pregnant. Lh and hcg are kinda like twin hormones, but while opks can detect hcg, hpts cant detect lh. You'd get an obvious bfp on a hpt if your opk is pos from hcg though [emoji4]

I had a normal AF june 9-13 followed by two days of spotting (normal for me). The only thing abnormal was that it was a 29 cycle as opposed to my normal 31 day cycle. The only cause I can think of is that we were traveling so maybe my cycle was messed up from that a little bit. I took another opk and it was slightly lighter so I'm feeling a little bit better about that and feeling confident about a proper LH surge and hopefully ensuing ovulation. So I'm officially in the TWW with you right now! FX for a BFP in a few weeks :)

Pbn you are expert about charts. I really thought i ovulated on Sunday and today my chart shows it but if i write in advance tomorrows temperature, ovulation will change from day 21 Sunday to 22 Monday. So my last attempt was 2-o. I hope i have still good chance. What do u think? :think:

I'm 5 dpo and haven't really had any symptoms. More tired and sleepy, but that could just be chalked up to 'life'!
This morning, I'm very aware of my breasts. They feel very sensitive, (TMI alert) - my nipples are erect and overall they feel exactly like how they did during my late pregnancy or nursing stages!
My usual PMS symptoms have some sore breasts a day or two before AF, but not this way. This is very much like my nursing experience! Curious to know if anyone else had these symptoms in the 2WW.

We'll know when I take a pregnancy test. Fx!

Maybe the only thing different (if I am remembering correctly) is that u have more cm than other cycles but when I googled that's normal too lol.

Hi Noemi! Sorry for the delayed response but my Tapatalk access to this site has crashed. I've come in through the browser to respond (I don't use the site in my browser as its really fiddly and hard to use) so if I'm MIA for another day you ladies know why 😔 tapatalk *seems* to be fixing the issue plus I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling later. So after all that I tend to agree with ff's crosshairs. However you know your body best and it's definately possible you simply had a slow rise or caught the rise on its way up? Either way you have a 1-2dpo attempt which is the best timing you can have! So much hope for you this cycle 🙏

Pbn3, thanks ! I think I have to attribute my temps to femara though lol. Since I've been taking it I find my temps go triphasic and get me excited lol.

So this morning I got up and while I was debating on whether to test or not, somehow I was peeing in a cup and opening a cheapie test LOL. Anyway so even before the 5 min mark I definitely saw something faint. Like no doubt at all. Of course I took a picture and I guess with camera quality and lighting I saw nothing in the pic. I tweaked it a bit: 39806

I got sooooo excited! I took a frer and it was stark white! Went back to look at the cheapie maybe about an hour later and the line is gone. ARGHHHH why did I test so earlyyyy lol

So this morning I got up and while I was debating on whether to test or not, somehow I was peeing in a cup and opening a cheapie test LOL. Anyway so even before the 5 min mark I definitely saw something faint. Like no doubt at all. Of course I took a picture and I guess with camera quality and lighting I saw nothing in the pic. I tweaked it a bit: 39806

I got sooooo excited! I took a frer and it was stark white! Went back to look at the cheapie maybe about an hour later and the line is gone. ARGHHHH why did I test so earlyyyy lolOMG, I do see that line! It is visible! Try to hold your pee for a few hours, limit fluids and retest! Maybe it's just early, maybe it's a faulty test. But definitely something I would be excited about! Hoping for a BFP for you by tomorrow! :)

Pbn3, thanks ! I think I have to attribute my temps to femara though lol. Since I've been taking it I find my temps go triphasic and get me excited lol.

Jgojah I too see that line. Are you sure the frer was stark?? I don't want to be the downer but I clearly remember mummy2boys getting clear bfps (and early as well like 8dpo) on cheapies two cycles in a row but never anything on an frer. Both times the cheapies were false positives [emoji17] I really really hope it is a legitimate bfp but I wouldn't get too excited that's all [emoji173]

Pbn3, yes I find it very suspicious that if it is a true positive the frer wouldn't pick it up. Afterall, it's the more sensitive test. Imagine after all the fertility issues we have to deal with false positives and evaps UGH!

How are you doing ?It's still early, jogojah! My faint positive didn't show up until the afternoon, I took a test that morning that was negative. It isn't over until AF arrives!

How are you feeling today ?Sorry jgojah:( I was praying for a BFP for you today. That said, how many dpo are you? Implantation can take upto 12-14 dpo in cases. It's not ruled out until you see AF. If this isn't your month, here's wishing you success in getting DH on board to TTC again! Fx.

Hi HDP, yeah I tested this morning and bfn. I think I may only be 8 dpo though, although ff thinks 9. No symptoms at all and just feel grumpy lol.
You are doing the right thing holding out till 10 dpo, this testing early thing is super stressful. I just can’t help myself though!
Jgojah, Pbn is exactly right, I had a few false positives on cheapies, it was so frustrating! Especially when frer are so expensive. Hope your bfp is here soon.

I'm sorry jgojah [emoji17] I agree your chart is hard to read into with these promising temp spikes that happen at very promising times, that's why I haven't gotten excited with your temps.... By all means ditch the temping after o confirmed but otherwise maybe a different pattern could be cause for excitement next cycle?

There's no implantation dip on your chart BUT not everyone gets one, I never did, and I actually think less people get them than those that do [emoji4] Also implantation generally takes place between 6-10dpo so you may not even be there yet...
