Emshe further to your pm the clomid could be affecting your cm so don't rely on it (cm) to be a for sure sign. If you usually get a proper pos then just keep testing. You'll *usually* ovulate within 10 days of last clomid pill so you have few days yet before then. Try to chill and trust in your body to do its thing [emoji4] You got this! Enjoy your wine while you can and take a nice warm bath the next few nights with this colder weather arriving [emoji6]

I think I'm sick today. Grrr... I took my temp at 5:20 am which is in my time range for normal. Whet back to sleep. When I went to log, realized Ive never had a bbt this high...literally since November. Opk is still not blazing and flashing smiley. So therefore, must be sick. I do have a massive headache, but I sometimes get that after drinking. I really need to switch over to spirits vs beer. Looking at atomics stats sheet, spirits is much more effective to sway girl. However, my cousin is a BIG beer drinker and has two girls.

Thanks, pbn, I'm OK. From time to time I've been thinking do I really want another baby, maybe I should just stop and be happy with what I have. But the other day I held a baby, for the first time in two years, I was kind of avoiding it all this time because I felt I would burst into tears. Well, I could manage to control myself and just wipe my eyes after, but I realized I'm not ready to give up yet and want another baby, even another boy would make me so much happier. But of course, seeing so many losses around me, I now accept pregnancy and healthy baby in the end as a miracle, which makes me value my two boys even more.
Resuming, I'll continue to ttc, keep some pink friendly things, but will be happy no matter what kind of/if any addition will wait my family :)

The stats on things so specific like spirits vs. beer are completely unreliable. The sample sizes are way too small, especially the beer group which cannot be in any way reliable! I got a girl with beer and I do not believe that based on our data that any of you guys should be drinking things that don't make you feel well!

Emshe - Just my opinion but I still think it's coming because you never had a true positive with those ICs, you had a flashing smiley today, and you're still pretty early (on CD14). I'd just keep testing. Clomid can cause false positive OPKs for several days after finishing it so maybe that's what was going with those darker OPKs. Also - your temps are still low. FX!!! I'm sure this is super frustrating!!!

I am really sure that it’s not, I believe my body often tries earlier in the cycle and just doesn’t quite get there. I’m sure I’ll get there & if not well onto the next...

I haven't been able to get in here all day!! So frustrated with tapatalk right now. Have had to access via web browser.

Emshe I agree with Abc. I believe 150% that you are yet to o and get a pos opk. Can you remind me why you are testing at 11am and not 1-3pm? I know its hard but you have to tell youself to accept it will happen in a few days and for now to get on with life. Then when you get your pos opk we can freak out accordingly

I'll hopefully be able to access via tapatalk but just quickly want to also say hgmama I'm glad there's a reason for that spike but it sucks that you are sick. And sunstars I'm so glad to hear you're doing ok ❤

Thanks pbn! I’m trying, I really do believe I haven’t and won’t soon as I really feel I will see cm beforehand.

I test at 11 as that has always seemed to be when it showed up for me. Plus I drink coconut water & a coffee with lunch so then it’s always diluted at the 1-3pm one. And tbh I have a very weak bladder I feel like I pee every five minutes so the 11am I’ve only had a cup of coffee then gone for a walk etc so I can’t pee!!!
& then after pensioner dinner at 3.30pm I don’t drink because we’re always rushing off to sports so 7pm dips are less dilute.

Wasn’t wanting to obsess over opks this time so was just doing the 11am one as it always seemed most accurate. Didn’t that back fire for my state of mind! Should just have stuck to what I did before 🤦🏽*♀️

Ladies, when should I start testing for OPKS. It's been awhile for me. The last day of my period will be tomorrow (June 2nd) and my cycles are 25 days long. My current app I'm using shows my fertile window 6/5-6/11. I don't want to start testing too early. But I wasn't sure when the correct time to start actually testing for a positive OPK is.

This is why I don't like the advanced ones. I feel like they just frustrate people. The cycle I got pregnant with DS3, I had SEVEN flashing smileys before I just gave up and stopped testing with those. lol Good luck, I hope you get a solid smiley soon!

June 1st, 2018, 01:48 PM
Are you still testing with Wondfos too? If they are getting darker, I'll guess 4 with the solid smiley coming tomorrow!

I had 5 days of flashing in my January cycle!

Also if I were you I would still be doing another OPK during the day too... this last cycle I had a flashing on the morning of CD13 and then a VERY strong positive Wondfo that afternoon. And I think I O'd the next day so if I had only been doing the CB advanced and we waited to BD until the solid smiley the next morning we may have missed it. That happened to me in November too - every other cycle the solid has been on the same day as my afternoon +OPK. Those surges can come fast sometimes!

Thanks for understanding my frustrations and for the good luck. I think I'll match you, but will be happy to NOT get to 7 and beyond. Especially since I missed a flashing last time all together. I am just laughing at how weird my body is. I totally ready for a normal cycle and experience.

Yes I'm still doing wondfos. They are just holding steady with the lines. After seeing your message, I did a wondfo after a several 5 hour hold at 8pm. It was about the same as others. In January I remember when I got that positive opk on wondfo at night and the next morning the CB was solid. It came right out and was BLAZING. So I'm waiting on that. As far as I know, I'm not a short surger, but SERIOUSLY anything is possible now. It really doesn't matter too much. Dtd every 3-4 days hoping for an one attempt result. The rest will be just for charting purposes and knowing when to test post ovulation.

It’s so random how different each cycle can be isn’t it HGMama. Opks seriously do not head in, & all the remembering & holding on is painful! Right here frustrated with you [emoji30]

Emshe I'd get him to release tonight maybe if you're wanting him to have fresh swimmers. Looking at your opks you may be a couple days away from pos still... then again it may surge overnight and be pos tomorrow too, but I'd be leaning towards a couple more days.... That's all good if 11am'ish is your time [emoji4] Some ladies results are better earlier than the usual recommendation and you must fall into this category [emoji4] Post tomorrows test results! I'm excited for the next few days!!!

Number was OK I guess - went from 967 to 2,532 in 72 hours. So not quite doubling every 48 hours, but apparently with HCG when the number gets past 1,200 the doubling time slows down so I'm hoping that's what happened. I'm doing another one on Monday and then first scan is next Friday!

So we'll be hoping to see a spike tomorrow morning or at least a sustained rise in temp over the next few days. How is dh back? Any chance of an attempt today?

50mg, I only got it for swaying. Although he gave it to me because I have shorter luteal phase. I’m wondering if I should try taking it from CD1 that’s what fertility specialist told me to do, but I thought that comes with higher chance of multiples. He has lots of twin pregnancies. I also wouldn't go stronger than 50mg unless proven to need it.

Hang in there as this cycle is still in progress and still a very real chance to conceive on! Your cm changing is a great sign! Plus we all know (but so easy to forget when its yourself [emoji6]) just how much things can change in a 24 hour period! You can go from mediocre opk to blazing pos!

Are you counting the protein and fat in higher carb vegetables and fruit, and ANYTHING in lower carb veg (the non-sweet/starchy ones???) Higher carb veg (including potatoes!!) and fruit are FREE for protein and fat, and lower carb veg are free and unlimited for everything and so when people track on line, you will have to compensate for that. That's generally what happens when people can't stick in the limits, they're counting things that they don't need to be counting.

Just to clarify, based on past history I do still believe that 1 attempt is better overall than 2. Our stats get very muddy since the people who are super fertile and able to get pregnant with one attempt may be more "set" for blue and those who have gone on longer (not to mention longer on diet) without getting pregnant may be more "set" for pink and so I use the overall view of success with one attempt dating back to 2010 to go off of and NOT the 67/65%. Repeat, I do not think that those numbers are giving us an accurate representation of 2 vs. one attempt.

But given our results of late where 2 attempts is not much lower than the one has been, it is clear that 2 attempts is not in any way a dealbreaker especially for people who have been trying for quite some time. I do not want anyone to look at those numbers and now think "oh ok I will START OFF doing 2 attempts because 65 is barely less than 67" NO. I still want everyone to start off on one attempt, I think starting with one attempt is better, but at some point it is time to go to more attempts and thus my point is please don't hesitate to go to 2 attempts when it's time to go to two attempts because the people who have gone to two attempts (virtually all of whom had first tried one attempt for several months, and been on diet several months) have not had substantially worse results than those who got preggo with one attempt.

I hope this makes sense - it's a bit tough to understand.

I hope that's where I'm going wrong and can get more info about those details when I buy a plan. I'm hoping, for this minute, I can take the "eating healthier" approach so I can prepare for a very poorly nourished pregnancy due to hypermemesis and not become obsessive about the diet. Ok ladies here’s my thinking...
Hubby is due to release, last was Saturday night. Do we just dtd because otherwise it might be that he releases and then it’s too soon for new sperm if opk shows up next day?

Or does it not matter & I should just keep waiting for that elusive +be opk!?

Have had ewcm yesterday & today on & off

https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/35220bHas he been releasing at all? I am SO very much NOT an expert on this, but looking at your previous cycle, it's like clomid did nothing for you and you're going to O near CD20 again. I'm just having this gut feeling that we both are going to get +opk in the next two days and be on similar tests days and both get our BFP. :)

So I vote to get it on girl! Have your attempt! And then in 4 days if you dont get your confirmed O, then attempt again.

Weird question but do you know what his sperm count is like? (I think you did HT at one point so just wondering if you had ever had that checked in that process?) My DH has a higher than average count but in the last 4 times we have gotten pregnant he released between 12-24 hours before our attempt - the last two pregnancies it was 24 hours before. If you know his count is normal, or higher than normal, I think he could easily build up enough if he released and then you got your +OPK a day or two later and BD-d. And plus it would be nice and fresh which might help! One of the reasons that DH was releasing within 24 hours or so before our attempts (in addition to trying to lower his sperm count a bit - which probably did not really happen) was to try to make sure he had "fresh" healthy sperm, as his morphology % is on the lower end of normal. There's some study out there too about couples having sex twice in one hour having a higher rate of conception with the 2nd batch being more potent or something. It seems to make sense to me that healthy fresh sperm is great for conception.

But really, it's your decision to make and I would say go with your instinct! Whatever your gut instinct is telling you to do is the right thing if you ask me :) If you think the +OPK is coming soon and that BD-ing today is the right thing then go for it!! Are you doing another OPK today?

Thank you for asking :) My HCG went from 2,532 on Friday to 7,837 today!!! So I'm super happy with that! However... my progesterone seems to be dropping. It's still over 20 but it's dropped by 13 in about a week. So - I'm freaked out about that. The nurse didn't seem at all concerned as it's still above 15 and they wont check it again but I think I will follow up with either the RE or OBGYN to ask why it would be doing that. I also ate a lot more before the 2nd and 3rd blood draws than before the 1st and I've read that eating before can affect the results (apparently progesterone drops after a meal). So - good news & stressful news :) Overall I'm feeling OK about things though and my first scan is Friday which I'm really anxious for!

That’s great hcg growth, so happy for you. I remember being told it’s hard to pick up the progesterone properly by bloods, but do follow it up to give you peace of mind, I’m sure it’s all good. maybe you could do progesterone in oil shots as a last resort if youre super worried. Not fun but very effective

Scan Friday! I’ll be wishing away the hours for you until then.

So the sperm count # that is important there is 40 million/ml, which is definitely normal!! If you look to the right you'll see the >=15 which means anything above 15 million is considered normal. I don't know much about "total sperm count" but that number DEFINITELY seems high!! I think the Normal Forms is what our reports here call morphology - basically what % of the sperm is "normal shaped" versus misshapen. And 9% is very good!! (I know - it seems low but I think the normal range is like 4-14% or something)

Ehhh given that I think you should have him release tonight and keep waiting for that +OPK! I think with a 40 million count he probably could build up enough again if you BD-d 24 hours or so later!!

I have one step which I think are very similar to the wondfo. I must have the smallest bladder and find it quite difficult. I’m trying for 3 hours and I’m thirsty because I’m limiting fluids. The things we do

In relation to holds, 3 hours is definately long enough while restricting fluids.

Hey pbn3, thank you and u were sure right...it came at 3pm!!!

Not sure if you ladies can guide me here. Last cycle I got my period at 8pm and so I put it down as cd1 and started my femara on cd3. Now in retrospect (especially based on my lp which seems to be almost always 14days) I think I should have logged cd1 as the day after and started femara one day later. Do you think I should log cd1 this cycle as today or tom? I've had a couple clots but I won't say it's been a flow as such since 3pm.

I think you could pretty much flip a coin and decide that way. Or take the femara at night of cd3 if you count today as cd1 as that would be splitting it down the middle [emoji12]

Hgmama are you positive you oed same day as pos opk?? Is it possible you're oing in the 2nd day following pos opk? Take last cycle for example that gave you crosshairs cd8, is it possible you didn't actually o until cd11? I know it's possible to o cd8 but generally speaking it's far more common to o cd10 onwards. If we see a decent maintained spike as of tomorrow if *may be a possibility? Thoughts on this??

Hey pbn3, thank you and u were sure right...it came at 3pm!!!

Not sure if you ladies can guide me here. Last cycle I got my period at 8pm and so I put it down as cd1 and started my femara on cd3. Now in retrospect (especially based on my lp which seems to be almost always 14days) I think I should have logged cd1 as the day after and started femara one day later. Do you think I should log cd1 this cycle as today or tom? I've had a couple clots but I won't say it's been a flow as such since 3pm.

It honestly doesn't matter though because you can start Femara CD 2 or CD 4 and both are still fine.

So I’m not entirely sure if I am 8 or 11 dpo from my chart this month but......I got a very faint BFP today! I am in total disbelief and am cautiously optimistic. I followed the LE diet for about 5 weeks. 45-60 min cardio (walking) 3-4 times per week. 2000 mcg folate daily. My husband drank soy milk. Took fiber with every meal. 1-2 glasses of wine per day. 2-3 cups coffee a day. I will keep you updated. Fingers crossed for a healthy baby girl! Hope to see a BFP post from you all soon!

I have been having lower right pains these past three days. No clue if its ovulation pain or a cyst staying there post ovulation. Also i really was cold when I woke up so maybe my temp should be disregarded. That's good you'll be doing multiple attempts as one attempt is considered pink friendly and 2+ attempts is considered blue friendly [emoji16] Are you using opks? The current recommendation for blue sway is dtd PM of pos opk, then the following day both AM and PM if possible. My ds2 was concieved with a PM bd of pos opk followed by another attempt the next morning. It's not a magic bullet or anything like that but it is a tactic that can be *easily (for most people) added into your sway. You've been doing HE diet?
