Is it useful to keep temping this week? I woke at 4:55am because I had to pee and my temp was only 98.82- a drop but not to coverline. (I usually test between 6:30 and 7:10.) Back to sleep until 7:30 and at 7:30 temp was 99.32. That's confusing.

I tested frer with smu at 7:30 after a sip of water.

With my second son I also took temp after my period should have started. It only stressed me much, when I experienced a drop like you, therefore I quit it.

Once you have BFP, stop temping! Temps can get crazy in early pregnancy, so don't cause yourself the stress!

Yes Gafan definately agree with Linni and TP - no more temping!! I'd already deleted your chart from my bookmarks as I do once someone gets a bfp so I didn't realise you still were [emoji4] As the others said, it causes unnecessary stress. Gorgeous looking frer btw [emoji8]

Linni I can easily see something on your test too! Hope to see a more clear line next test!!! Looks promising especially if that's a legit line after a few hour hold [emoji50] Will you post a pic of your fmu test for us?!

Well, I just realized today my mind was playing tricks on me.. What I believed were faint BFPs were actually nothing.. Im so bummed.. 12dpo and all BFNs
I really thought this was going to be our month...

Gafan: congratulations it is wonderful news! Such a good month for many of us. I stopped temping after bfp for this reason. My temps kept going up and down and it just stresses me out more than neccessary. The only thing I kept doing was POAS (addict lol) till the line is as dark or darker than control line.

I may still be imagining squinters but for 12dpo they should be much darker. I feel like a crazy person. But TTC is getting really stressful for me and I feel Im not being a good mom, wife, etc being this distracted!

So we BD on Sunday CD 17 in the afternoon , before DH left on work trip. I got my first pos opk this afternoon on CD 19. I will likely ovulate tomorrow CD 20 and the next chance of BD is only wee hours of CD 22, which is too late to catch the egg. It's like fate ill timed my O in the 'most difficult' to get pregnant window!

I'm just so depressed that my DH made this work trip without checking with me.

Any chance of a real pregnancy through 3 - 3.5 days before O?
Google says sperm can live for 3-5 days, but I don't know how many people have been really successful with these odds. I just wish I had my pos Opk a day before or after :-(

Sorry HDP, that’s so frustrating and I know how you feel as the same happened to me this month! We bd 3 days before o then DH went away. I’ve looked at quite a few charts on fertility friend though where people did get pregnant from an attempt that far away. Fx!

Af was due 2 days ago although my cycles are very irregular and can range from 30 days to 40+!

I am back from vacay and at 8 dpo I had a dip below coverline and then a large spike today? Could that be implantation dip? Here is my ff chart, it has me ovulating a day later so the dip is at 7 dpo on there. I haven't had much in symptoms but some pulling pains. 39980

I know this is negative but usually after O my test line is extremely faint. I'm 4dpo and I tested because I found that the test lines were still dark (not positive) on cd16

Do you guys think maybe I didn't O and I might be gearing up to O?

Implantation generally takes place between 6-10dpo but it's not uncommon for it to take up to 12dpo. So if you're 12dpo and implantation started 9-10dpo your squinter makes total sense and will take a couple more days to darken to a definate line. Also yes after 12dpo is possible for a bfp as its all about when that implantation happens and hcg starts being produced, ten beung high enough to be picked up on a hpt. It really has nothing to do with dpo [emoji4] I hope that your tests over the next couple days darken. If they haven't by 15/16dpo then I would brace yourself for a chemical [emoji17]

39979Jgojah it can take days for the lh levels to drop down and looking at your chart I'd be very confident o did happen either cd15 or 16. Why not start with a 96 hour version of e4d today just to cover yourself for peace of mind?

So if you're 12dpo and implantation started 9-10dpo your squinter makes total sense and will take a couple more days to darken to a definate line. Also yes after 12dpo is possible for a bfp as its all about when that implantation happens and hcg starts being produced, ten beung high enough to be picked up on a hpt. It really has nothing to do with dpo [emoji4] I hope that your tests over the next couple days darken. If they haven't by 15/16dpo then I would brace yourself for a chemical [emoji17]

I'm thinking you're on the money.... well I'm hoping you are! 🤞 with a huge drop this morning, I even decided to keep my electric blanket on over night and my bed socks, the dip wasn't because I was cold that's for sure. Along with the dip I've had ewcm and ovulation pains again, so I'm thinking I geared up but didn't get there.

I feel VERY bummy and frustrated with my temps. It went down a bit this AM which honestly isn't unusal but because my pre O temps are so high, it's not visually pleasing to me, if u know what I mean lol lol

Last cycle and this cycle my pre O temps were higher than my usual temps (since like 2012!) So it's making my post O temps seem low but those are normal. I just don't understand if the high pre O temps are an issue or if my post O temps should be higher to have a better thermal shift post O?

Of course I googled and found:

What kind of test is this? If its a cheapie then that will explain the vv faint line. Frer have a much better sensitivity. Eg it can pick up levels of hcg as low as 6.5mIU whereas cheapies generally start picking up around 25mIU - 50mIU. Do you have any more frers to test with tomorrow or after a couple hour hold, with very few fluids for say tonight?

If you wont have for fmu, can I suggest collecting an fmu sample and leave it sitting on your bathroom until you can get your frer. It'll be fine to sit there for a few hours otherwise maybe wait try a hold and limit fluids [emoji4] Looking forward to your next frer test! And fx for a definitive answer!!

I tested with CB this afternoon, and it was negative. Fingers crossed I will get a positive tomorrow, which is when DH gets back. I'm praying and hoping that all the stars and moon line up in my favor tomorrow. Keep fx for me and pray for some good luck for me, please, all you girls!

I've been stressing for next month already, worrying about the pre o temps - if it's indicating that there is something wrong and what I should probably try next cycle to ensure it's back down.

Oh HG, I totally know where you are coming from. I had a similar experience this month where we couldn't get to dtd when I would have had all the O signs. We still managed to catch that egg and I'll be keeping everything crossed that you do too!! X

So I'll wait to see what tomorrow's temp brings but I'm thinking that the last two weeks I wasn't actually in the two week wait and I have another 2 weeks to actually wait before I can start testing?!? This is if you're using a sensitive test like frer or wondfos. If your working out dpo by pos opk then I'd assume o was day after pos opk and attempt so two mornings after day of attempt would be 1dpo. Just be aware o may have been during the 2nd day after pos opk so your dpo could be out by a day.

Wow congratulations thinkingofthree!! Those are beautiful lines! So it's up to you about the exercise but I'd taper it back some, walk instead of jog kinda thing, at least for now anyway. Rule of thumb is supposed to be if you exercised before bfp then it's fine to keep up the same intensity but after going through a loss I totally understand your nervousness with this so yes would wind the exercise back. Have you started taking a prenatal? Also what dose of folic acid/folate have you been taking as you may need to wean back to a regular dose. Also if you've been taking any other supplements. I'd start a new thread and ask atomic what best course of action re: diet, exercise and supps is now you have a bfp. Congratulations again!

Im waiting for AF.. now pretty sure Im not PG.. I wanted to ask, as Im not sure where to post this. I see a lot of Clomid sways, but few Femara.. I got Femara from my doctor but Im reviewing each user sway individually because I mentally want to hear some success stories with Femara.. What are your thoughts? Would you use Femara for girl swaying purposes only?

Happymommy a thousand times yes!!! Femara has fewer side effects, less chance of multiples and isn't as hard on the body as clomid. Pretty sure I've seen atomic say femara may be slighter more successful than clomid too but cant be 100%. Femara was used in cancer treatment (mainly breast I think?) and from memory the positive effect fertility wise became apparent and it began being prescribed for that reason as well. It still hasn't been FDA approved as a fertility drug like clomid is though which is why clomid is still prescribed more than femara. I think once it is approved, clomid as a fertility drug may eventually be phased out. I'm pretty sure that's all correct but honestly I would ask Atomic in a separate thread as she is always up to date on these things and knows 1000 × more about it. I'm relying on my memory from a couple years ago lol.

hgmama, I checked and it looks like if you have been on the diet awhile and especially if you are older (I'm 39) odds with one vs two attempts ttc girl are nearly identical and it may be very helpful to do 2 attempts to conceive. that is what i did this cycle.
atomic reassured me that 2 attempts still sway pink if you have relaxed a bit on diet and exercise

If I were you, I'd definitely have my second attempt in and increase my odds of pregnancy. I know you did say that the thoughts of having a baby has been on your mind for seven months and consuming you. So do all that you can to get pregnant and you will feel on top of the world!

And while the one attempt has been having some success, it is no magic formula to a girl. It probably just tilts the odds in favor a bit. But so do a lot of things and no one knows with a 100% guarantee. I think you're well read and have been doing a lot of pink friendly things for a while now. So just go with your gut, think positively and do what you must!

Still a few weeks to go pbn:( my bump is measuring 2-3 weeks bigger so I have to go for a growth scan on Monday morning. He was measuring 5lb4 at 33 weeks so who knows what it'll be! As for the drinks do not stress on it! I too had zero hope of a bfp and drank an entire bottle of wine at 9dpo. I was 100% convinced I wouldn't be pregnant and then once I got that bfp at 10dpo (I only tested to use up my very last frer or I wouldn't have bothered) I was 100% convinced I would miscarry again. I'd been drinking 2-3 full strength coffees a day and had stopped taking prenatal 2 weeks prior so I was convinced that there was no way this pregnancy would make it. After this, I honestly believe if the pregnancy is healthly and doesn't send up red flags to the body that somethings wrong then the pregnancy will survive regardless of what we do in these very early stages. Shrug it off and enjoy it as your last night of drinkies for the next year because you my dear friend ARE PREGNANT [emoji322][emoji322][emoji322][emoji322][emoji322]

I’m on my 6 weeks summer break at the moment (teacher) so I’ve just been chilling out and I have to say, having wine pretty much every night. Congrats! So glad we are seeing bfps still!

Well I'm sure I'm out for this cycle. My temp went down today and my test was negative. Not even a squinter. I am 12/13 dpo and af is due Monday. I just don't get it bc I have tons of low back pain and round ligament pains. Really threw me for a loop!

Phew. I tested (very faint) positive on 7/8dpo. Then a little lighter again on 8/9dpo, but the line was even a little more faint.

On 9/10dpo I tested negative and had some spotting.

But I couldn’t believe that, I know the feeling of being pregnant twice, and my cervix wasn’t like before AF at all.

So I tested again in the afternoon today after a 3h hold...twice...positive!!!! I‘m 11/12 dpo now!

hmmm I really am not sure, maybe we could tell with temp by tom? Hubby's back right? Are you bd e4d? Or are you still doing opks and waiting till +ve?

Also, are you ensuring that the urine is concentrated ? I find with the sticks I MUST ensure its pretty concentrated or it doesn't look positive. E.g. While I was getting my positives I took an opk with fmu and it did NOT look positive. I will see if I can get a pic to show u.

Hi ladies
This is my chart from today. It says I Oed on 21.
My temps look like it. But, I didn't get a strong pos opk on 20 or 21. On CD 19 around noon, I got closest to pos, but not blazing. I took antihistamines for a cold on 19 and 20, so CM is not reliable.
I usually get a clear pos opk and gobs of EWCM to confirm. But last two cycles have not been reliable. So I'm just moving on to E4D. I don't know if I'm in the 2ww or not.

Raising, a bfp is still possible though, in June last year I got one on 14 dpo. It didn’t end well but I read about lots of ladies who did get late bfps.
HDP, maybe cd 20? I think you will have to wait a few days and see what your temps do. Frustrating though isn’t it.

Yes very true! And our lil vacay was to KC! Haha we went to schlitterbahn, shopping at the Plaza, ww1 museum plus loads of good food and sushi! It was just nice to be just us with no kids and doing whatever we wanted whenever we wanted to ha! And sleeping in!
Yea sways never worked 100% the way we first imagine them but if it was late ov then I hope the 3 months of diet before that helps!

Raining while it's nice to see a spike like that it doesn't necessarily mean anything other than a random spike. See what the next two days temps do. If it's a spike following implantation then af wont arrive and you'd likely see a very faint line by tomorrow morning or the next on an frer. If your temp starts dropping however I'd expect af even if its late..fx for the former scenario!

Raising, a bfp is still possible though, in June last year I got one on 14 dpo. It didn’t end well but I read about lots of ladies who did get late bfps.
HDP, maybe cd 20? I think you will have to wait a few days and see what your temps do. Frustrating though isn’t it.
