so my self control crumbled and I decided to test at 8dpo and got a negative test, I was kind of expecting it but it still upset me for some reason... Hi ladies
This is my chart from today. It says I Oed on 21.
My temps look like it. But, I didn't get a strong pos opk on 20 or 21. On CD 19 around noon, I got closest to pos, but not blazing. I took antihistamines for a cold on 19 and 20, so CM is not reliable.
I usually get a clear pos opk and gobs of EWCM to confirm. But last two cycles have not been reliable. So I'm just moving on to E4D. I don't know if I'm in the 2ww or not.

I would say every month is different... this is my chart from this month, and I recently got a few BFPs :D
I usually have tons of EWCM and a clear temp rise. This time I had almost no EWCM, only white, creamy one (TMI, sorry...) and my chart looked like a rollercoaster. Atomic wasn’t sure if I actually O‘ed from this chart and also adviced me to do e4d.

If I were you I would wait until tomorrow if the temp still is high, and then trust the chart :)

Problem with HDP's is the one high temp and then straight back down to borderline possible post o temps hence the confusion... definately possible she oed but also definately possible she hasn't. I stopped testing and went straight in for bloods to find out if 'initially' things were ok but I think you UK ladies have trouble getting Dr's to agree to repeat betas in early pregnancy? You'd think with your history they'd simply write the requests up [emoji17] Is it something you can try ask for? Hpts will do nothing to ease your anxiety...

Thanks ladies. Yeah I can’t get seen until 6 weeks at the early pregnancy unit so I’m in limbo till then. I will make a doctors appointment for in a few days and see what they have to say. I can’t keep away from google but I will try lol [emoji23] I keep taking tests in the hope that they will give me peace of mind but that hasn’t happened this morning [emoji17]. My urine looked quite concentrated so was expecting at least a similar strength line.

Hi guys! I'm hoping to join you all in the August group. I had a D & C on July 5 at almost 10 weeks pregnant and my AF returned Saturday, a week earlier than I was expecting, so I'm now CD 3. I have some mixed feelings about trying again, but getting more excited about it I think. I definitely have not been good at my sway at all, since a) I was pregnant b) I was on bedrest before the D and C and c) moving. I'm going to try to clean it up, but I'm pretty much resolved for DS #3 at this point :) Maybe this journey is good for me because it's made me just want a healthy bub more than anything else.

Love seeing all these BFPs! They're so exciting!!

hdp, take a look at my chart this month! A lot of my post O temps were close to the cover line.(hence all of my annoyance and frustration this cycle). It only really started going up at 8dpo, so I have been more comfortable.

My temp this morning got me excited but then I checked my last couple cycles and I saw that my temp also went up at 10dpo. So that made me not want to test. If it's still up 12dpo (wednesday) I might get brave and test

Sorry about your loss. Recovering from a 9 week miscarriage on Tuesday. My Dr recommended waiting 2 cycles to try again. Seems like a long time. Did yours recommend waiting at all?

Oh I am so sorry to hear this KJ. Did you miscarry naturally or D and C? Mine said to wait one cycle and put me on 4 weeks of pelvic rest.

Thank you, hopeful! I definitely think it’s so personal. For me, swaying isn’t my top priority anymore. I’d love a DG but I also would be happy with another DS. After swaying for seven months and then losing the baby, I want to focus on other things this go round.

I am cd1 as of an hr ago but I am staying positive and excited to start again! I stayed on with diet just not as extreme (1500 cal instead of 1200) except while on vacay. I'm going to take a break from temping for a few days too. The only thing I plan on changing for this month is no glob of sylk before dtd! Going to try e7d still unless I O early and shoot for e4d if needed to catch the egg. Good luck to all in the 2ww! Otherwise I will see you on the August board! :highfive:

Oh man what a process for you :( I think it could be okay to ask the reasoning for 2 cycles? Baby was only measuring 6 w 1 d with a weak heartbeat before it stopped when I was what should have been 9 weeks- maybe gestational size?! Or just doc preference? I’ve read different OBs recommend different things. I’m ready to try again so try I will haha

Its funny how AF bums you out at first. But then you realize it’s CD1 again and it could be the beginning of your next pregnancy... TTC is actually fun if you see it from a positive side.. I have friends who have had surprise/unexpected pregnancies and I think... oh you missed out on all the fun!
Plus, someday we’re not going to be fertile anymore and Im really enjoying getting the most out of this part of my life...

Hey, yes I took femara for 3 cycles then hubby said no more ttc. Then he agreed to not really try but we didn't try to prevent either. This was kinda my break and I intended not to temp too much but post ovulation I really was not positive that I Od because temps were barely above coverline. When I showed hubby the test he literally asked "but how is this possible" lol

I thought maybe my egg quality was poor so atomic advised to increase protein and i did salmon & eggs...I also started taking vitamins. I honestly can't say I swayed anymore. I still didn't snack but I definitely ate more this cycle.

Looks to me like you did o, HDP. I’ve had a couple of cycles where my temps stayed low near the cover line, there seems to be a clear difference between your pre and post o temps though.

HDP I also think now that is looking like you've oed [emoji848] especially because your temps have consistently stayed elevated (even though not dramatically, they are still maintaining a shift) they haven't dropped back into pre o temp range which I was waitng to see and they likely would have by now, so yep I'd be feeling pretty confident now you have oed [emoji4]

I think I had 2. One was the morning (like 12.30am lol) before first positive opk (cd13), then we bd like 6am the morning of positive (cd14) - I got positive later that morning. I think I ovulated either CD 15 or 16...opk still looked positive cd15. Our son got ill so we didn't continue with any pattern like e4d

i tried very hard not to symptom spot this cycle because the past 3 cycles i got so excited for everything lol. I usually get little twinges anywhere around 5-7 dpo. This cycle i got that too but the main differences were crampiness on and off all day 8dpo and on 9&10dpo my boobs were tender (not quite sore - usually only my nipples get a little sore past ovulation).

also, 6, 9 & 10 dpo i had ALOT of creamy CM - i didn't get excited about this because usually i get this a couple days.

Linni that's a pretty clear sustained shift though? Problem with HDP's is the one high temp and then straight back down to borderline possible post o temps hence the confusion... definately possible she oed but also definately possible she hasn't. Hello ladies, it is strange I kind of feel like I know you guys I have been lurking for a few months and learnt and laughed and cried along with you. I have finally decided August is the month and wanted to introduce myself, a bit about me
Dh and I have 4 boys age range 14-3 and yes I am a typical control freak boy mum! Although physically I am slight I have a fast metabolism and pre sway typically eat a HE diet.

Although I would have liked a girl, I only ever had a moderate amount of GD and was lucky enough it left when each boy was born,
but really struggled with the things people would say I remember being pregnant with DS3 when someone asked “the question” I answered with he is a boy and she said “ Oh no! That’s terrible”. Like I had let the entire of society down. I was ok well more than ok with my boys and we were finished with adding to the family.

I found out I was pregnant with an oops baby and was very surprised that I was so happy and excited as I truly thought we were done and I was felt like I was happy with being done. That pregnancy ended in Mc in June at 10 weeks, I had secretly desperately hoped that this baby would be a girl. Since the Mc I have done some research and landed at gender dreaming and to be honest I feel like I having a daughter is everything, it’s something that I need to do now.

So I have been swaying since early June, LE, vegetarian (mostly), exercise & will also be adding clomid just for swaying.
I will have been on the diet for almost 11 weeks by the time of my first attempt.
August 2? eeeek!!
I really don’t have any more weight to lose hence pulling the trigger a little early, this felt more right than gaining weight to lose again. Would be lovely to share this journey with people that understand and can relate.

Just had to check in this AM and am so delighted to see so many BFPs this month!! Huge congrats to all and I'll be stalking the August thread to hopefully see lots more!!


Thank you, hopeful! I definitely think it’s so personal. For me, swaying isn’t my top priority anymore. I’d love a DG but I also would be happy with another DS. After swaying for seven months and then losing the baby, I want to focus on other things this go round.

Kikurose I couldn't agree more! We swayed to the extreme last summer. Conceived and lost the baby and it just took the heart and soul out of swaying for me. I completely went off diet, gave up all exercise, gained weight and took almost a full year to finally feel up to ttc again!
We are hopeful this baby is a girl but most important of all we just want one final perfect bundle. Best of luck, I'm rooting for you!
