If there was some way I could get ahold of my doc on maternity leave, I would ask for lowest dose clomid.... but I can't even come up with a reason to ask for it. Haha.

Hopeful I had between 1-5 days of flashing smileys. If you feel you must be close you can test again in the evening once you have a flashing smiley. Why not test again this evening then decide on whether to attempt or not if its not solid?

I added fiber and really truly started following LE diet, not just cutting back. I am considering adding acupuncture as well. My mom wants to gift it to me. le case that app has your fertile window way to early. So is your doc having you monitor this cycle and are you trying the next? How is she deciding when to do the IUI? By opk or bloodwork or u/s?

Fibre is a pink tactic that can be added and dropped if needed. Use only once a day and take it just before your highest fat content meal.

I move alot in my sleep so I wonder if that changes anything. She just told me to do temping this month and try next month since I know my cycle so well! I was planning doing ai at home on July 16th

Movement can falsely elevate a temp but if your consistently moving most nights you'll still see a sustained rise in temps. Lets just see how the rest of this cycle pans out. I would suggest using opks next cycle.I would plan your ai for pos opk and not a particular cycle day and we'll see when your temp shifts and if it merries up. Once you've downloaded ff app and input your temps (you'll need to change the time temp taken to your usual temping time) go to the dropdown menu top rh corner. Press share chart and data, create/preview homepage. Press on the link shown and it will open in your phone browser. Copy the web address and paste it into your signature in tapatalk (profile settings)

Unfortunately strawberrybella opks cant tell you you've ovulated, only that your lh has peaked but used with temping it can help narrow down how long after pos opk you are actually ovulating. Its normal to ovulate up to 48 hours after pos opk, even 72 hours but without temping you simply won't know. I'd probably do both next cycle just for clarification purposes then ditch temping after that (if you haven't become addicted to temping by then [emoji12]) I find it unusual that you'd get a sustained temp shift three/four days after when you'd usually get a pos opk that's all, and think you're better off making sure next cycle that everything lines up [emoji4]

I'm using clinical guard,smile reader, and dollar store opks.i get my mediums on CD 12 usually and then my equal or darker ones CD 13. I haven't been trying just tracking for next month!

So what if 6/22 noon is the true blazing positive and strawberry is on the later side of normal at 48 hrs post positive opk making 6/24 ovulation day and temp rise was a smidge late too. Strawberrybella you're not doing it wrong. As long as you take temp after your longest sleep preferably around the same time each morning (and before getting out of bed or moving around alot) it will be enough for a pattern to emerge ☺ Are you temping orally or vaginally? If orally, open mouth breathing can cause a falsely lower temp which could be throwing your temps off..

Nothing is perfect. Try not to worry about the temp. Look at the whole picture! That's what I've definitely learned. My first was conceived when I thought I was out of my fertile period because I didn't fully understand opks and temping was too hard with working night shift three days a week. Now that I temp and track symptoms and opks, it's much more accurate. I hope this next month is a BFP and everything works out perfect on your donor's side too.

Strawberrybella yes air conditioning can make a difference. When did you start having it on? Also temping vaginally is way more accurate than orally. I'd see the rest of this cycle out orally but switch to vaginal next cycle. You simply insert the thermometer until the head is completely covered, I usually recommend inserting alongside an index or middle finger a few times for practice and insert to the middle knuckle. That will ensure the bbt head is covered but you wont be poking your cervix [emoji12] Just use an alcohol wipe to clean it after each use.

He knows that I don't mind at all when I'm out of town or sick or something, but do when I am there and willingly. Off subject... I went to a baby girl baby shower today. The mama, my coworker, has had a ROUGH run at this whole TTC journey. Had their first daughter, but it took like 8-9 months of trying and after confirmation of a very low sperm count. Had an ectopic after 5 months and lost a tube. So tried for another year with no luck. Decided to adopt. Literally jumped through all the hoops and passed and found out she was actually pregnant again. So I feel for her! So happy for her. And there are SOOOO many cute girly things. I hope I someday have a similar shower!

Yeah, it could because maybe you had a light blanket, maybe your mouth was open, etc. There are so many factors so take temping with a grain of salt. Nothing is perfect. Try not to worry about the temp. Look at the whole picture! That's what I've definitely learned. My first was conceived when I thought I was out of my fertile period because I didn't fully understand opks and temping was too hard with working night shift three days a week. Now that I temp and track symptoms and opks, it's much more accurate. I hope this next month is a BFP and everything works out perfect on your donor's side too.

Strawberrybella yes air conditioning can make a difference. When did you start having it on? Also temping vaginally is way more accurate than orally. I'd see the rest of this cycle out orally but switch to vaginal next cycle. You simply insert the thermometer until the head is completely covered, I usually recommend inserting alongside an index or middle finger a few times for practice and insert to the middle knuckle. That will ensure the bbt head is covered but you wont be poking your cervix [emoji12] Just use an alcohol wipe to clean it after each use.

Just caught up on everyone's stories and like StrawberryBella, I'm starting to temp too... think Pbn3 has twisted my arm. Only problem is I've started halfway through the cycle and am only using a regular thermometer, no where locally sells bbt thermometers so will need to look online. So the temps I have aren't all that accurate.

But I have a delema, I'm currently CD37 and AF hasn't shown up and am getting BFNs on frer with fmu... during CD17 and 18 I had darker opks but not positive, we bd CD19 and 20 as I had ewcm and ovulation pains which are rather strong so was pretty certain that I ovulated on CD19, my lp is always 14 days, and cycles are normally between 31-33 days. I was under the impression my cycle would have been 33 days that makes me over by 4 days.... though having said all that last month was 38 days long but I was super stressed with work and still managed to pin point ovulation and af arrived when I expected it to.

But today I'm seeing small amounts of ewcm type cm, it's not exactly the same. I'm wondering if I didn't actually ovulate at all this cycle.... So confused right now. What do you think I should do?

Since you're a charting expert do you think those temps are rather low? Lowest one there was 35.9 °C (96.6)? I guess again it'll be a matter of getting a decent thermometer and charting a few cycles

Thunderstruck you'll get a good enough idea using a standard thermometer if you don't want to go down the road of a bbt (although I personally liked the 2 decimal point accuracy [emoji85]) And it's winter now (I'm also in Aus) and that's actually where my temps would go as low as from memory (the high 35's) you'll find as the weather warms up your basal temp will increase with it [emoji4]

[emoji23] much simpler at times in every aspect of the word, good place to bring up kids I think. Just move during the summer time and you'll adjust. We were in Sydney during January, when the temperature said 30s to us it felt more like mid 20s because here we have a dry burning heat, rather harsh.

Hgmama I don't think you push the issue anymore (self releasing) as I'd hate for him to pull the pin or not be able to see through an attempt when you really need it. At the end of the day, even a 7 day abstain isn't a make or break conception wise. Yes it's better if he's released more often but again you have to work with what you have and 7 days'ish won't be a big deal. So I would wait for peak unless he shows an interest in bding before then (protected)

Ive been too sick both pregnancies to do anything but try to live and half-ass work.
I honestly am worried about losing a lot of weight/reducing nutritional reserve on the LE diet. I think thats why I didnt go full effort until now. I really do need that extra 20lbs to live off of the first & second trimester.
Back to exercise! I am working the next three days and wish I could fit in a gym session.

hi ladies :) just popping in with a couple of opk questions i hope thats ok?

i use the clearblue digital ones, the ones that are either an empty circle or a smiley, no flashing smileys!! normally i take them once a day around 4pm.

i took one at 4pm last sunday and it was negative, but it did look close when i took the stick out so just for the heck of it i took another at 9pm which was a smiley :) then i took one the next day at 4pm like usual and it was negative, so if i hadnt of took the extra one at 9pm id have missed it it seems? does this mean i should probably test a couple times a day when the line looks to be darkening? the last 2 pregnancies where ive used these opk's just testing once a day was enough!!

also if it was positive at 9pm sunday (having bin negative at 4pm) would that likely mean ovulation was monday? i know nothing about any of this!!

I will use them twice a day leading up to the times i usually ov and I usually get my surge in evening. They say anywhere between 12-36 hrs after the surge you “may “ ovulate, but it’s no guarantee. It’s just detecting the LH surge , That’s why a lot use temping. [emoji16]

I can make out a line. Probably wishful thinking but I’m going to get a FRER later because I just “feel” like I’m pregnant and it’s driving me nuts! Hi 4blue2pink! You did the right thing testing again if it looked really close to pos in the afternoon and yes would suggest testing twice in a day but not unless its nearly positive. Having a negative opk the next day doesn't mean you ovulated, simply means you passed your peak lh. Ovulation will generally take place 12-48 hours after first pos opk so without temping you wont know exactly which day or if you geared up to o and didn't. If not temping I'd continue on with e4d (either 72 or 96 version) after your bd at pos opk.

So my faint lines remained just as faint and BFN on FRER so I think the very faint lines on the ICs are indents/evap/false :(

Testing again tomorrow with FMU FRER but thinking il be seeing AF soon :(

Mom25boys, I had a cheat 3-4 days on vacation regarding food and had no exercise for a week! Atomic told me not to worry about it. A day or two here and there are fine. It helps us stay in the diet in the long run, and the long run is what counts.

Ladies, I tested this morning at 9dpo and I saw the palest, slightest, faint blue pregnant line. It's visible to me, but when I click a picture, the visibility fades significantly. Can you see anything? I don't want to get excited until I see a darker line, but FX!
I tested using the CVS equivalent of frer. It's supposed to catch HCG 5 days before period.
I will test with frer tomorrow! Hey! Welcome. I'm not doing supplements just folic acid. On the LE diet and exercising 6 days a week. Dh isnt changing anything but on the week of O he will take olive leaf probably. Missionary, one attempt on day of positive OPK. That's all :) maybe I'll take antihistamine. Not sure

And it’s fabulous, I set it up at beginning of cycle and don’t think about it [emoji14] .
FR I believe is hard to sustain .
A lot of girls on here are doing one attempt at positive OPK and have Dh do ‘what he does ‘ it’s really about finding what may work for you . GL [emoji847]

So I want to to things a bit differently..I have no idea when I conceived my 5 boys, but it isnt just that. Its diet and exercise PLUS the one attempt. It's the big picture. Hi everyone. I have been a long time lurker, and I just want to wish everyone a good month full with BFPs and sticky beans! I have been on and off ttc twice before but ended up not ttc. First time i was so stressed with lots of things and my cycle was 70+ days. Second time DH lost his job, so we wanted to give it some more time.
Now everything is settled and I really want to be pregnant now. The baby fever has hit me strong and hard. I didn't want to join earlier because I didnt want to jinx myself. I know, silly me, but I am sooo happy to say we have made it to first official ttc cycle. I got +OPK at 3pm yesterday. We made our attempts last night and today. We are swaying boy but I think we can only make 2 attempts instead of recommeded 3. I dont think dh can go for 3rd time. He said knowing it is go time stress him out a bit. I hope 2 attempts are good enough. Hopefully temps will continue to go up tomorrow.

Hi!
This is my 2nd cycle TTC a girl..
Last month DH did frequent release and we only BD once with 3 day cut off. Im taking my supps, diet, cardio, Refresh every 3 days...
Hubby is 39 so abstaining is not my best option. But he didn't do that well with FR, he had a hard time the day of the attempt. The attempt was not successful...

Im thinking what I should change... what are your strategies this month?

Thanks emshe. I hope this will be THE month for all of us. This is our first cycle so I am super excited but not dont want to get my hope too high. I usually dont have this kind of luck. Haha. I am praying it will happen soon though, within 3 cycles will be awesome since my cycles can get insanely long at times.

Pbn: I had to stay away for a little while because I couldnt control myself not to think about ttc. And I saw the pics of your daughter when i was lurking around. She is so adorable. You must be so in love with her. I was sad thinking you wont be around when I start ttc anymore. I think we all really appreaciate how you still stick around to support us. Since you are here, i cant disappoint you on my comeback. I hope i am in fact in tww like you said. I have had some ovulation pains for couple days on both sides. Hopefully my body will successfully do what it is supposed to do this time. FX!!!

I o'ed soon after getting off bcp before as I got my real period soon after (maybe 2 weeks or so). I hope O wont be too late for you either.

Everybody is telling me i lost a lot of weight and i look skinny so thats why i cant conceive (i lost just 3kg) but maybe my body decided it is not good time for baby coz when i was pregnant with my son i suffered big nausea and lost 5kg. Anyway im afraid take weight back i eat eggs, dairy and salmon and i hope it will help boost my fertility.

I wonder if that's a secondary estrogen surge dip [emoji848] (usually a dip that big to coverline would be a promising implantation dip)... problem is its hard to say if you're 9 or 6dpo... I was leaning towards 9dpo with o day as cd15 (as previously mentioned) which ff did agree with till now... in any case your temp should come right back up tomorrow and crosshairs again. At least we know not to get *overly* excited next cycle if you do get a deep dip again [emoji4]

Noemi big hugs [emoji17] it must feel abit like damned if you do, damned if you dont [emoji53] I hope the coq10 gives you a boost *if* it's needed... I'm really hoping this is your cycle so the point is moot. I had been taking it and was when I conceived and lost my 3rd pregnancy so please don't put too much hope into it giving you that golden egg... BUT I too have read so many success stories that even if I was still ttc I also would continue taking it. Have you done any fertiltiy acupuncture? I know xxforhubby ended up getting some and contributes her bfp in part to it? I honestly wish I had the answer for everyone. Especially other older mums like myself. I cant say just stop trying and randomly bd because some of us feel out of time, and simply out of the heart to continue so you gotta give yourself the best chance each month to catch said golden egg. I fell pregnant 3 times within 13 months so I knew I could get pregnant but now I also understand it simply wasn't a 'goldie' I conceived with. I have rec'd the same comments about getting so skinny! I actually stopped exercising because I think the diet plus exercise was draining me lol I'm holding steady at my weight now.

Been wondering if to just continue cutting out the sugar (i have pcos) but start taking prentals ? I'm also doing eggs, diary, cheese. I will start with salmon too.

Yes I've been on the pcos diet since end of Jan with little cheats here and there for kids birthdays and stuff. I'm doing coffee and one glass of red wine as I read it's not just recommended for girl sway but also for pcosers. Maybe I'm just doing too much LOL

I think you are probably pregnant! I had a bfn at 10dpo and then a bfp at 12 dpo with my last pregnancy! And your temps are very telling. GL!

I kept getting all these faint lines on blue dye tests last month. They came up pretty quickly, around 1-2 minutes. All FRER were BFNs... I was so hopeful I kept buying more tests. Unfortunately FRERs were right :(
I wish I wouldve stopped buying tests and wasting my money... sorry I hope this is not your story, but I wished someone wouldve warned me. Im glad I didnt tell my husband I thought I was preggo

Pbn3- THANKS! your timing advice worked out perfect. I had a significant rise in temp despite feeling cold all night and my ovulation pain disappeared around noon yesterday. Only concern I have right now is that my O day is coming sooner and sooner and with LE diet it's usually later and later. [emoji849] and im not losing weight despite finally calculating out my protein and fat grams.

HDP- just to answer your ? about if positives at 10 dpo actually happen... yes, when I pregnant in January l had I clear red line on FRER. However, my hcg on 14 dpo was abnormally high, so theoretically my hcg builds quickly.

I had a big dip this past cycle and I take temps at regular times. I was only having protected BD so it wasn't implantation. Seems to be how I work :) everyone is different. So, CD2 today... going for CD3 bloodwork tomorrow morning and a follow up ultrasound to give me the greenlight to start the process this month. If bloodwork is good tomorrow, I'll start femara (tomorrow) days 3-7... RE wants me to come in on CD10 for an ultrasound to check follicles. At that time he will prescribe me ovidrel trigger shot and tell me which day to give it and we will start BD every other day until IUI, along with OPK twice daily. When I get my positive OPK, we will go in for the IUI procedure... we have to BD from IUI every day for 3 days... and then progesterone suppositories from IUI day until AF or positive pregnancy test. If this cycle doesn't work I'm going to ask for gonal-f before the trigger. I dont want to keep having to do cycles like this, and want it to happen ever so quickly.

Thanks for asking how Im getting along. I didnt want to do opk's but have caved to doing the clearblue with fmu & an 11am (my best time it seems) with the one step. Must admit my anx comes straight back when I start to use them. But if I want to get in an extra attempt on top of the E4D pattern I kinda need to, Boo!

When I get my positive OPK, we will go in for the IUI procedure... we have to BD from IUI every day for 3 days... and then progesterone suppositories from IUI day until AF or positive pregnancy test. If this cycle doesn't work I'm going to ask for gonal-f before the trigger. I dont want to keep having to do cycles like this, and want it to happen ever so quickly.

Thanks for asking how Im getting along. I didnt want to do opk's but have caved to doing the clearblue with fmu & an 11am (my best time it seems) with the one step. Must admit my anx comes straight back when I start to use them. But if I want to get in an extra attempt on top of the E4D pattern I kinda need to, Boo!

Emshe I think you already changed the plan by doing opks which has put you in this position [emoji12] so zero harm in changing again if that's what you wish. Last cycle you oed 2nd day after pos opk and there's no way to know if that will happen again or not so if you stick with just the bd tonight it will cover you for the next 48 hours anyway. If you want to stick to the e4d plus 1 then yes bd again tomorrow. If you o tomorrow there's little chance of a PM bd contributing but if you o 2nd day after it will. I've read several times the odds of an extra attempt after ttc for awhile don't do too much damage to a pink sway. Some people just simply dont seem to be able to conceive from one attempt. If you're torn then flip a coin (cant tell you how many times I used this to make a decision that 9 times out of 10 I didn't stick to anyway [emoji23])

What you need not to do is tie yourself in knots over this decision as that will mess things up I believe. Make a choice and stick with it, be confident in your decision because it WILL be what is best for you [emoji173] If the thought of bding again tomorrow gives you pause then dont it. Listen to your gut instinct because you will never be happy if you go against it. Accept your choice then dwell on it no more. As soon as your mind starts wandering into the decision once made think of the most annoying song and sing it in your head. Start reciting the national anthem, anything to move your mind on. You just gotta get through the next couple days and all this will be over with. Hang in there and let us know what you decide [emoji173]

Think I’ll go for it, plan was to do e4d plus one at positive. So sticking to tomorrow’s as well as tonight’s would be exactly that. It was that or drop clomid, & atomic thought clomid plus one attempt was the stronger girl sway.

And yes you’re right about me changing the plan but I just had the feels but not positive enough cm signs to rely on [emoji24]
