Good luck for getting back on the swaying wagon Surgena, I bet it was nice to indulge in normal foods for a while! I'm so jealous!
Well I got a smiley face on my CB opk about an hour ago (6.30pm) so now I need to make a decision as to when to dtd. I used Rephresh this morning so that will still be in my system and I don't think I would need to do a top up as I don't want to kill all the sperm. In my head for some reason I think it would be better to dtd in the morning as blood sugar will be low for both of us, not stressful n we will be warm, although I still may make DP have a hot shower. However, if we dtd in the morning (approx 12hrs away) is that too big a cut off if we are only dtd once, or should I wait to dtd tomorrow night, approx 28hrs after pos opk? I REALLY want to get pg this cycle!!
Also, PFP has atomic given you any advice on your plan to dtd 2 times immediately after each other (if DP can do it)? I want to know if this is a good idea or will put me in boy territory with too much sperm. Please let me know your opinions girls, I need all the advice I can get! im getting excited that it's all happening soon! Eek

LALA :twocents:if you really want to get pg this cycle then just dtd as many times as you can now you have a positive and even the day after it goes negative just to be sure you are covered:) I think ill be trying 2x today i got a pos opk,and tomorrow and the next day to make sure im covered:)

Hello, pink swayers!!! I have two boys, DS#1 is almost 7 and DS#2 is 5. Dreaming to have a little girl !!!! I am going to try this month (March) and today is my first day on Clomid (50mg), also LE diet, low sodium, low pottassium since January, SP suppl, B6 and FAcid. My ovulation is on March 26-28. I have a very nice swaying plan from gender dreaming, so hopefully we will get our girls at the end of this year. I practically do everything to sway pink :)))

Amari~ Hi, my cycle buddy. I am doing well, I agree with everyone on being a couch potatoe. I think it will make you too hungry. I know it seems ridiculous not gaining weight bc you are so tiny, but it makes sense for the sway! Tonight is my last night of clomid. Totally relaxed this cycle. Doing diet hardcore as always! Been checking out your diary when I log my foods! Your doing great too :)

Lala~ I agree about multiple attempts, it doesn't put you in a boy zone, we are lowering sperm count so much with everything else we are doing.

Morning girls! Its nice to express myself to those who understand. All my friends just tell me to accept whatever happens and get over it. To appreciate what I have because so many people are not as lucky.
They don't get it...I do appreciate what I have and I wish it were as easy to just accept it, forget about it and move on. If I could be hypnotized to never desire a daughter again I would -- it would make my life so much easier. But I can't. My desire for a daughter has nothing to do with what I have -- it has everything to do with what I don't/won't have. And its hard to just forget about that when I am reminded of it so often seeing other mother's with their little daughters dressed in pretty dresses skipping around, or seeing a mother/daughter shopping together or having lunch. I feel like my boys will leave me someday, its just not the same relationship at all.

Anyway. We made another attempt last night using dh's 2nd batch. Now he is in NYC for the night so I won't see him again til tomorrow afternoon. I had a big temp drop this morning, but still no +opk. ??? I am hoping I get it this afternoon on this evening and that will mean I am o-ing early tomorrow. I usually get my +opk the same day as my temp drop. So I will have had a 1.5/2 & 2.5/3 day cut off. Not that I planned for a cutoff, I just know that you have a better chance of getting pregnant if you dtd before ovulation rather than waiting til ovualtion. I wanted to make sure the swimmers were there waiting since I think that most times I o within less than 24 hours from getting my +opk.

Kills me. and your right its not about being unhappy with what you have, Everyone always says they would never trade their little boy for anything in the world, or imagine a life without him, its about what we DON'T have so TRUE..

We are going to get our girls! We just have to... Your Dh is often in NYC, I guess for work..just think of this one day I will meet you there with our DD in tow and have lunch at the doll store American Girl! Its a right of passage! Just picture that not OPK's :)

That is one of the hardest things I've had to struggle with...my feelings of how bad I want a daughter and how it makes me feel like I don't value my sons. I love my sons dearly, as I'm sure all of you do. Wanting a daughter does not mean that I think boys are undesirable. That is the conclusion my husband sometimes jumps to, as if this baby I'm carrying is another boy, he will be worthless. Of course he won't be! It's not about what I *already* have, it's about the element I don't have, an element I want to experience....

Anyway, just wanted to say thank you for sharing and I love all you ladies! :heart:

I did not use either, but I did use Preseed a month or so ttc our 3rd son and did not get pregnant with it, only after I stopped and various other things. I have heard some ladies getting girls out of Preseed though. I would not worry too much about it. I am betting you are really strict on your diet and that is what matters. I did not use any jellies this month, but did use Instead Cups, so maybe another boy for me LOL!!!

Well, I have been waking up around 4:30 for some reason lately having to go pee, so I have been taking two temps. I just adjusted my temps to the first temp to see what that looked like and well maybe that it more accurate because after going back to bed I only get about 2 hours sleep?

Yes i would use the first temp,you need at least 3 hrs or they say not use it,i also have problems getting 3 hrs some months but its due to my youngest one who is a terrible sleeper:(

Oh don't I know what you mean I have been ttc for almost a 2 years. One of which was on IG, so I am a total nutcase LOL!!! Feel like I have done just about everything this there is to do on my own, so I am letting the Lord work His will. You can see what I am doing in my siggy, so I am just so over it! and I found out another friend is pregnant today, and yesterday I saw my first girl ultrasound with the girly potty shot. My dh does go to NYC a lot for work. He built the Gramercy Park hotel and the Standard Hotel in NYC. A few more hotels coming up in NYC and LA once this economy gets better. He is only down there for the night, home tomorrow afternoon. Wouldn't it be great to meet up with our daughters one day...a dream come true!

So,bummer no attempt tonight.
I am o-ing tomorrow and he will not be home til tomorrow late afternoon.
So o-ing on Friday.
We had 2 attempts Tuesday night (2.5-3 day cut off)
1 attempt last night (1.5-2 day cutoff)

Should we dtd on Friday night? I will be o-ing on Friday so - I don't know. I know he is not releasing at all today. Nor did he take his LR pill this morning and since he did not take them to NYC he won't be taking them tonight or tomorrow morning. Do we even bother with an attempt on Friday?
He would have to release and then we dtd with his 2nd batch 1 hour later. Not so sure though -- I feel like we are running into risky territory there. Only will have used 1/2 app. rephresh on Wedn. morning. So we would have to use some sylk, right; or maybe use a tiny bit of replens tomorrow morning if we are going to attempt tomorrow night.
Thoughts on whether to attempt Friday night and how. Do we even need to, or stick with the cutoff and see what happens. ??

I could not have said it better. It has nothing to do with what we have. It has everything to do with what more we hope to experience and that we know something else, some other feeling is out there pertaining to raising our children; and it is something that one can only experience when raising a daughter.
We are not horrible people for wanting to experience that difference, those emotions. Its like experiencing motherhood to its fullest, from every angle. It really is a blessing to be able to experience the joys that come from both raising a son and a daughter because they are soooooo different. Many people don't care and maybe its because they don't look at life as deeply as we do or think as intensely about things as we do. Many people just go through the motions without stopping to really think about it or feel it -- they just do with what is. We just want more, the most -- everything we can experience and feel in motherhood.
That doesn't make us wrong, if anything it makes us more right. Its just unfortunate that others do not see it that way.
I am sure that if I had 3 girls I would want a boy. Boys are so cuddley and loving. My boys tell me all the time how much they love me and how beautiful I am. Girls will never tell us how beautiful we are as they get older -- they will however point out all the wrinkles we are getting and that our rear end is looking flabbier. But that is just girls. Girls go through the moody teen stage where as boys do not as much; but as children boys are wild and crazy and girls are more quiet and cooperative -- they are different. I would feel like I needed to give my husband a boy if I had 3 girls. I would feel something missing. Though I can say that my GD for a boy would not be as great as it is for a girl -- not like I could never live without a son, the way I feel for a dd. But who knows, I don't know how I would feel if the shoe was on the other foot.

Sweetsister-I am going to dtd as much as possible with nothing added, I may use Robitussin or Mucinex. How much did you use and when/how often? I am not going to use Preseed just b/c whenever I use any kind of lube it burns me like crazy and I can't even dtd. I got sylk and used a touch once and couldn't do it! I am TOTALLY ready for this to be done too! I just can't do it anymore. My body is finished too. I think I weight too little and not being able to lift weights and eat protein is making me feel weak. I hope this is our month!

Hi everyone,
well...you are all going to think I am totally crazy, so please don't judge, lol. DP and I dtd @ 6.30 am yesterday morning, only once. Almost immediately afterwards I felt a bit strange in my lower abdomen, bit hard to explain. After I had got up, had a shower, n taken DS1 to school I was feeling really crampy. This lasted for the entire day - I mean nonstop cramping for the whole day, sometimes rather painful, and i felt n looked rather bloated, until I went to bed last night. I assume that this was ovulation. However the pain didn't stop when I went to bed and I did not sleep well as when I woke up in the night the cramping was still there. It honestly feels like I am about to get my period as I get very crampy and very painful/uncomfortable periods. So I woke up at 6am still feeling really crampy n uncomfortable, thinking this is really strange. If ever I've gotten ov pains it doesn't last 24hrs. So anyway got up at 6.30am (about half an hour ago) which is exactly 24hrs since dtd, went to the toilet n there is pink on the toilet paper. Surely this can't be my period, I am only on CD16, I got my smiley only 36hrs ago, n before I went to bed last night I checked my cervix n it was still high n swallen so I think I am probably still in the process of ovulating. But I must be a crazy person to think that that could possibly be implantation, right? I mean, i know i am an extremely fertile person, but you don't get ov spotting 24 hrs after dtd! Its like days n days after conception.
Can anybody shed any light on what on earth this could be? Its really got me puzzled. :think:

PFP you are preaching to the choir with me sister, i feel exactly the same as you do. I wouldn't replace my boys for anything in the world, they are divine, but the desperation for me to have my own daughter is all-encompassing n something I deal with on a daily basis. I would leave your attempts as they are personally, especially since Dh wouldn't have taken LR n didn't release. I think you're covered.

Amari, KD, Sweetsister- stick with it! Sometimes we all need some encouragement because this is just so hard at times. FX we all get a BFP ASAP so we can start eating normally n living normally again! I think everyone has done an amazing job at sticking with all this swaying n we all should all be really proud of ourselves for the mammoth effort we've put in to this. I hope our daughters can appreciate this when they are older!! :bighug:

Sounds like ovulation spotting to me, Lala - not implantation spotting. It can be a good sign of strong ovulation. I spotted the day before I ovulated on my BFP cycle (the same day I got my cramps), and it was the first time that had ever happened to me. Good luck!

Ok so I've done a bit of reading n I now assume this is ov bleeding, which I never even knew existed! n something I have never ever experienced before. How weird that this occurs the month I am ttc!!

Thanks Mocha, I've come to that conclusion too! Thank god, cos I thought it can't be implantation n it can't be my period so WTF is going on with my body!! Lol. How odd that it happened first time for you when ttc as well!

Lala- absolutely ovulation spotting. Its not a bad thing. It cannot possibly be implantation spotting. Implantation can only happen once the embryo is 5 days old. Not a minute before. And most embryos implant at 6-8 days. The earliest they can even reach your uterus is 4 days old, and that is not likely to happen. 95% of them time they do not reach the uterus til day 5 and then they begin implanting day 6-8. You could also have a tiny spot of pink or blood from having sex. Happens to me when I dtd around ovulation only...its weird but very common.

ok ladies -- so I got a clear +opk on 2 of my test strip opk's and a Smiley face on the cb digital. I knew it, as always -- I get my +opk on the same day I get my temp drop.
Just my luck dh is away tonight...just my luck.
THANK GOD I did not wait til my +opk this month to dtd...thank god, otherwise this month would have gone right out the window.
I talked to dh...he did take his LR pill this morning. So he will be missing it tonight and tomorrow morning, but I can give it to him when he gets home tomorrow afternoon. Plus, Atomic says that LR stays in your system for awhile after you stop taking it. He is grabbing something to eat right now and I told him when he gets back to his hotel room to "take care" of himself. He is grumbling.."what for, aren't we done?" I said, just incase.
I think I might have him release when he gets home tomorrow and the dtd tomorrow night 1 more time. Maybe just use a dash of replens tomorrow morning in case that is what I decide to do.
I am torn though -- I feel like dtd after I have ovulated....the egg would already be released and any sperm from our 3 attempts would already be there to fertilize it right away. Should I assume that there is enough, or should I take a chance and do it one more time? I just don't know.

Lala, I would be very encouraged by the Ovulation spotting. I have never had spotting but do get stronger pains some months so think they may be stronger months as well. GL with catching that egg!

P4P - I would go for it again, but I have been trying for a while now so always tend to go for more attempts rather than less as I am pretty much on team baby now!

Kraizy like the name, lol. No not on Clomid. Its certainly not an 'owie' as we only dtd one time, it wasn't rough or deep, n cos DP had been abstaining it didn't last that long :giggle: It must be ov spotting. It's strange because the diet is supposed to make you less fertile, make your body feel as though times are tough so I'm not sure if the spotting is in relation to that, or indeed the opposite; I hope it's not a sign of good fertility which I was trying to avoid for the sway (and all women in my family are insanely fertile). If I am super fertile this month for some reason, I'm now thinking maybe I should have j&d.

I used robitussin,actually beechams it has the same amount guaifenesin ,tastes crap though:( and ive used now a couple times 5ml or one spoon ,not the two spoons 100ml 3 x a day like they recommend,i took it in the afternoon and dtd that night so im thinking its a little but will do the job.
Its too bad you must be allergic to the preseed but the robi will help anyhow:)

That is not a bad number I don't think. I am going to pray really hard for you and maybe your are not 10dpo. Maybe you are off on your dates. My doc told me they had a girl who was just at 6 and she carried a full term baby, so keep the faith. I am not believing that you will miscarry! I am just not!!!!!! This baby is just taking it's sweet time. I would ask them to check my progesterone though and so that you can get supplements if you need them soon. I am thinking about you and sending baby vibes to you and your little bean!!!! Don't give up yet!!!!

That's a great pregnant number, so is the doc going to check your HCG levels in a day or so to see if they are doubling?

I would ask your doctor about when to start the clomid ,but i have heard before you have to wait 2 cycles.Im on Kraizys side though dont think about that yet its not to that point yet :pray:

Honestly if it were me i would wait at least one cycle,clomid stays in your system for up to 6 months or something,not sure how long and you still might o after stopping ,i would worry about if you took it again while you were not finished IF you were having a MC?What did your Doctor say?Im hoping you wont have to go through any of this and your bean will stick though!How r u feeling are u o.k?

You still might have a chance -- you may not miscarry.

If you do -- then it is more like a chemical pregnancy then a miscarriage in my opinion. An early miscarriage/chemical pregnancy. In my opinion that is no cause for needing to wait. I don't know much about clomid since i have never taken it, but ask your doctor. You could very well be able to go on to next month like nothing since you technically would not really be even far enough along to miss a period.

no, no. Don't feel that way. Many women have low hcg levels early on and have girls. Hcg level with girl only become higher after 18dpo. As early on as you are both boy and girls are the same. Try to relax and hang on to the pg -- your little pink bean could very well be in there.

I think your doctor really jumped the gun scaring you like that - things could still turn out fine. In the meantime, please don't worry about the diet. It's more important that you eat well and nourish the little bean that may still be growing inside you to give it the best chance possible!

Littlemiss~ Praying your little bean sticks, and you don't end up with a chemical, I think everyone said all this already- chemical does sway pink and there would be no reason to wait if that does happen (hopefully not), and I think the clomid you would wait till your next actual cycle. Def confirm with your doc...Hopefully none of this will matter because that pink bean will stick!!

PFP~ I think if Dh releases, takes liquorice root (it does stay in system just had a convo with Atomic about this), and releases before your attempt it cannot hurt to DTD again. If anything you will be too late, so no biggiesperm thats there waiting will get the job done! Everytime you have gone with your gut this month and last you have been right..keep listening to yourself :) . oh, and Dh's job sounds awesome!

Would that be the same day you have been taking it? If so, I am inclined to say yes. If not, I am not sure. I am on 50mg 1xday from cd5-9.

Mocha, KD and P4P are spot on. Don't give up on your little bean. I don't like that doctor. They could have at least offered a helpful suggestion, like take vitamin B6, which is sometimes used to try and maintain a pregnancy. And you have to eat. The bean relies solely on your glucose at this early stage, so if you start back on the diet, you will essentially cut off its glucose supply. Small, regular meals throughout the day are the best thing you can do to try and sustain it. All the best.

Littlemiss- Take the clomid this cycle (if you have to attempt again, which hopefully you do not) on the days your doctor normally tells you to take them. If its day 2-6, then do that on this bleed. Chemical pg does sway pink. I hope this all works out for you!

Hope&Dream-- Yes we did!!! I feel sooooooo good about this cycle I really hope I get a bfp! For some reason last month, even tho we dtd 6+ times, I still was not feeling good about it and I thought it would be a boy; but this month even tho we dtd less I feel great and like it will be a girl!

I had a +opk at 4pm on Thursday and another :) at 7am yesterday. I obviously caught the surge in the very beginning thursday (how could I not testing 4xday). So I knew I had a little time, as I am o-ing TODAY! I used a tiny bit of replens yesterday morning at 7am & Dh came home at 3:30 yesterday. I gave him his LR pill and then went "down under" to take care of business (as he hates releasing himself). Then we put the kids to bed and DTD last night at 9pm, no sylk no j&d, and I had him release way up in there -- I just wanted those swimmers to make it. So roughly 5 hours after his last release. I think enough time for there to be a low count but still hopefully enough.

I PRAY that pink swimmer falls in love with my beautiful egg today! I just feel so good about this cycle. I think I really swayed so well and strong, I wouldn't change a thing. I lost 4 more pound leading up to o this week, and now I am at my lowest conception weight and even 1.5 pounds away from my lowest weight since I was 13. Not to mention I was sooo strict on the diet this week, dh's sperm count was so low all 4x we dtd. Turns out we had a 3.5 day cut off, 2.5 day cut off and 12-24 hour cutoff. I think there was probably very little left from the cut off's so that little extra bit from last night just increased my chances of getting a bfp while still swaying pink since his count was so low and I used a tiny bit replens that morning.
I pray pray pray now. I just gotta see those 2 line this month -- I gotta! I just feel like it would be my girl -- I feel it.

That is odd. Happened to my sil last month. It could mean that your body keeps gearing up to o and it doesn't, so then it gears up again. Try to relax a lot today -- I guess that is all you can do to help your body burst that egg out.
I have never had that happen. I only had about 15 hours of +opk's.
Give your hubby a pep talk -- he can still dtd being sick. And I read that illness can affect sperm quality/quantity so that sways girl. Definitely try to get an attempt in!

Ive searched charts in fertility friend in category pregnancy on clomid implantation spotting,have a looksie and i saw many with spotting on days 10 11 dpo ,so it very well could be:luck:
And if it is it takes a while to get a positive too, a few more days:)

Sounds like it could be. Implantation spotting can happen anytime from 7dpo til 14 dpo -- with the most common days being 9-10dpo. Especially if its brown and only a little bit, it could very well be implantation. You might now get a bfp til 2-3 day from when you see the blood so don't be discouraged. Most likely, by 14dpo if you are pg the hpt will be positive. You still have time.

amari opks while on clomid can be a bit of hit and miss, in my opinion i only trusted clearblue digital as clomid does not affect those tests with all the others even first response clomid can affect them, but that doesnt mean thats whats going on with you hun, did the line fade in and you saw it happeneing with the same brand or is it the first one you used ?

They didn't work for me... I thought I'd be clever and save money since the pregnancy cheapies have worked for me in the past just fine. But I partly blame the OPKs for not giving me anything definitive which pushed my failed TTC into the fail category. I'm sure the weight loss threw things off, too, but it was confusing. I've stocked up on digital and not digital clearblue's for next time, in May. I HAVE to get the egg the next time!

I am having a hard time restarting the diet. I've been eating the 'diet lunch' but haven't managed to quit breakfast and keep eating lots of goodies and my dinners have been mostly diet-friendly... but I've been snacking. I'm so sad how much weight I gained back. At the height of when I *thought* I would be ovulating, I was 103lbs. Since my amenorrhea and stopping the diet, I'm at 116lbs! Holy hell!

Someone give me the kick up the arse I need...!

Thanks for the welcome Ladies, looking forward to charing the journey with you all :) Well I am pretty much just waiting for AF to show up sometime in the next few days which I'm sure it will... the last few months I have managed to convince myself that I feel this symptom or that symptom, and have been absolutely gutted to have BFN's all the way! This month I feel nothing... not a thing.... obviously not even trying to convince myself anymore that there is a BFP on the way!

Anyway... I have convinced myself that I am out this month..... but that next month is THE month! hee hee. Hope so! Best of luck to those testing soon... here's hoping for plenty of BFP's :cheer:

Anyone know anything about ClearBjue Digital HPT? I got a neg this am, but, the, "I have to see the actual lines" made me take the test apart. It has a second light line? I am sure it's neg, but what does the second line mean? Could I be pregnant?

Just remind yourself of the end goal again! Easier said then done!! I have never been able to stick to a diet ever but somehow this gave me the drive! Don't get me wrong, I have had lots of cheats. Mostly just fri/sat night and I would try to save up in the day to make me feel better and I would still not eat the way I would have before! That's what I had to do to get through! If I don't get a bfp and in this 2ww I will up my calories as I was sticking to 1200-1400 and I think that caused a lot of the suffering!
AS says 1500-1800 is great anyways so you're probably in that range if you're watching somewhat!

Yes, he is really good like that. The only thing that I could have done without is him having a math lesson with my 12 year old ds on which box to buy the one with 3 in it at a higher price or the one that had 2 with one extra free one in it. I about died when my son brought me the bag and said they got a really good deal on them. I asked my dh if he knew what they were, and my ds said of course, I see them in her bathroom all the time LOL!!! I did not know this LOL!!!!

My nausea ended at 12 weeks, or so I thought, but for the last few days, my stomach's not been happy. It's grumpy and grumbly again, and just got a constant bad taste in my mouth. Well, just thought I'd share some of the joys of pregnancy! My oldest son, who is 4, keeps trying to pillow fight with me or wrestle with me, and I keep having to scold him. We used to play together very actively and I haven't for a while and all of sudden he's very persistent on playing that way again, I tell him to go get Daddy, but if I'm sitting on the floor with DS2, he'll come from behind and try to pull me back. Any advice for dealing with an uncooperative 4 year old? I tell him no and he giggles, and then I get really mad and he starts crying and I can tell he's got his feelings really hurt. How do I get him to listen without yelling at him?

I know I am venting here, but this really the only place I can do it LOL!!! My BBT thermometer is not working right either! I take my temp, beeps, then goes off, barely enough time to read my temp. I have had to temp multiple times to finally get some kind of reading. This morning my temp went down according to it, but who knows if that is right or not grrrrrhhhh! Maybe it's just the battery? or can that even be replaced? Sorry, I know I am being childish, but my mood today is just not good!!!!

So thats still early, Fertility Friend says average is 13.6 - so 14dpo, when i was looking for the info in my 2ww many women dont get a BFP till 14,15,16 some even 17dpo! So dont worry about the fact that some women get them really early fingers crossed hun *hug* (ps - i had a realy chuckle at you DS and DH maths story)

aurora - maybe try and being 'extra sad' when he is bieng rough, tell him you are sore and he needs to be gentle with you, get really 'sad' if he is still rough- maybe that will work? Or distract him with something he really likes? Or a bribe LOL 'if you play gentle you can do xyz" hope the nausea ends soons!

amari - the more attempts, the more likely your BFP will be - so even if it was a false negative, doesnt matter, the extra attempt couldnt do any harm, and can only help. Hope you get your bfp asap too :)

Hope - good luck at the u/s and make sure you update us :) Yep, looks like are attemp timings pretty similar, so we'll be in the 2ww together! How many attempts are you doing? Im DTD daily through to O....really want to get pregnant, so hoping that will do the trick.

PFP, how many dpo are you?

I am 4dpo today. I believe I ovulated on Friday -- ff says Thursday but that is impossible b/c I still got a +opk Friday morning. I think I ovulated late afternoon/evening on Friday.

I think if we dtd everyday using nothing of course I would know I was getting my bfp. But b/c we lowered sperm count sooo much and kinda used jellies here or there etc...it makes me feel like I put too many road blocks in the way. Hopefully I get lucky -- I really hope I do because I am eating in this 2ww. Still keeping glucose low by only eating 2x day, but I am not tracking my food etc. I am trying to stay low calorie of course, and avoiding meat as much as possible - though cheating here or there. Like yesterday at noon I ate a salad with pears, blue cheese, pecans, red onions and avocado. That was it, and for dinner I ate my regular risotto w/ mushrooms and leeks, topped with nonfat ricotta chz and a sprinkle of parm chz with carrots on the side. Not 100% LE, but not super bad I guess. If I do get a bfn then I will just hit the diet hard core again from af-o. What else can I do? One can't go month after month eating like this -- it kills you. You can't be social at all -- people over, dinner's cooked, going out etc...its impossible. I am ready for my bfp and to get this all over with. One thing is for sure - next month if I have to attempt again I am dtd every night from cd12-cd18. Dh can release in the am and we will dtd every pm. Only rephresh every 3 days -- no touch up and nothing else. I need a bfp!

FRER is 25mlU. You can look that up anywhere. It actually has the same sensitivity as a lot of drug store brands. All drug store brand are either 25mlU or 50mlU. Clear blue, Answer, ept and frer are all 25mlU. More of the digitals tend to be 50mlU but there are some that are 25.
The only place you can buy 10mlU tests are online. I think babycenter.com sells them, and earlypregnancytest.com sells them/ There might be others that I don't know about. Tests that sensitive cannot be bought in store though.

I also agree that while FRER has published a MIU of 25, the test is actually a lot more sensitive, as what sweet sister said, is purpoted to be around 6.5 MIU. I love FRER and I do believe that test! My first test I took this preg was early result EPT and it was a super, super faint where I believed the second line was maybe just an evap. The next day I took a FRER (cuz i knew I wanted to know for "sure"), and it was not FMU but 10 dpo and I got two very good lines. So while they may say 25, I really think it's much lower and I think FRER are very accurate.

KD, sorry about temp dropping...you will have to let us know for sure!

Because it was always so easy for me to get preggo (two opps babies before), I assumed taking Represh in Nov attempt was still going to make me pregnant since my two boys were pull out accidents. But it was akin to birth control to me, so I ditched it in Dec. I did use a full applicator though so I'm not sure if I used half applicator or just a little if it would have been as strong. I worry sometimes that my lack of using jellies will def. yield a boy, but I had to get pregnant that month or we would have had to wait for a few months, so we'll see. The other issue I have is that my DH swears up and down that he did not do an opps when we had our boys, that he did still pull out, but of course obviously something got in. The thing is, if he really did not fully ejeculate, then the sperm that made it to make my boys was obviously not a big sample or a lot of sperm. Still they are all boys....obviously my diet was boy friendly, and that influenced it, but I'm really not sure how much I am personally convinced that lower sperm count sways hard. I think it does sway, but of course we can't know how much it really effects a sway as a whole.

This is what has brought me peace that most likely I will still end up with a boy. That I had to go through all this to get this special individual that will come into my life. Maybe it's not about getting a girl but going to these extremes for this person. Selfishly I want the girl but it's not their sex that is important but who they are! If I am blessed with one more child even if it's another handsome son, I promise to savor each little moment, and be in the floor more, and get messy more, and just spend all the time I can with him, cause Lord know's it has taken so long to make him, that when he gets here I just know I cannot live without him. My sons are growing way too fast and I just can't catch my breath sometimes at how grown up they all are, and I so want one last time to hold sweetness in my arms again. I don't think I really took it all in the last four times. I know that may sound crazy but I just did not. Lassie- my plan if I do injection cd 14 is to start dtd 2x's a day Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. No jellies. Maybe a touch of sylk. I took clomid too and have no cm, major weight loss, follow diet to the letter of the law, getting comments I look like a teenager or 15 years younger bc of weight loss. Spring is here (today btw) I am sooo relaxed! What else could I do? I think it's pretty hard core :) oh and dh has released every day sometimes twice if we did stuff together iykwim!

PFP- I think you have a great chance at a bfp this month. You were light with the jellies for that reason. Did FF give u a due date if you get a bfp? I always look at that :)

PLEASE PLEASE tell me there is nothing to this left side=girls, and right=boys because they are all on the right side! It makes sense to me that the side has nothing to do with gender, but its a teeny tiny bothersome!

Also I will do the trigger tomorrow at noon. My plan was to dtd 2x's a day starting the day before the trigger (today), tomorrow, and the next day. Here's my problem I start work in 15 mins! I work till 9:30pm tonight, I can get one attempt in, then am & Pm tomorrow, and next day. (last night we actually dtd for release purposes and figured whatever do it inside-guess that was good now). So should I stress, and try to get an attempt in on my dinner break? that will be interesting, or just leave it the way I just mentioned. Tonight and then 2x's the next two days???

I do believe in this - I've always been a big believer in "whats meant to be, will be, and whats not meant to be, wont be" and you know, I have found that pretty true in life, sometimes you push push and push and push some more and what you want just doesnt fruition - and i believe that comes down to fate wholly. In fact i can think of times when i have pushed, fought, tried relentlessly for XYZ, it didnt happen, it upset me, it made me angry, hurt...and then with time i have seen from other events that if it HAD happened for me - then i would be in a far worse position....so thanks my lucky stars that fate intervened. (went for a promotion, fought for it for over a year, put in blood sweat and tears, felt robbed when i didnt get it....8 months later the role was made redundant - and if i had got the promotion that would have been me, and at that time it would have been disastrous for our family financially, as in 'lose our home and everything we have' disastrous) Thats just one of at least 4 instances in my life where fate has steered - and its turned out for the best.

I do believe though that in regards to ttc, that 'swaying' as well can be part of fate's plan, maybe it was fate that i found this sight when we decided to ttc (i had NEVER heard about swaying before) maybe im meant to do this to get my GD.....or maybe i am meant to do it becuase i wont get my GD, and having done the sway i will be ok with that as i will have comfort in the fact that i did all that *i* could do, and then fate did the rest...

I'd say try and get an attempt in on dinner break if you can...but dont STRESS if you cant! Can you be back a bit late? Or if your work pretty strict about that?? If you can do it easily then go for it, otherwise dont - 3 attempts should do the trick :)

about those tests i used 10 miu internet cheapies and they did not work, i got a easy to see BFP on frer at what i think was 8dpo,

we dtd once after 8 days of abstinance, and i think it was 3 days before ovulation,

This cycle is like none I have had before. I mean, I got spotting during ovulation, then on 11dpo I got this dark brown thick stuff when I wiped, it was not really there on 12-13 except when I checked my cervix, I have had cramps that I normally never have, my AF normally comes in the am like clockwork on the due date, bbs sore, headaches, emotional, irritated, upset, irrational, a real ball of nerves, but all neg HPTs? What is up? Could be pregnancy, but I certainly think it would show by now and my temps are getting into the AF range. All this being said, I still won't test. I have one FRER left and I might test this weekend if AF is still late.

Your diet will sway and change your ph anyway. You could not do Jump and dump don't know when your doing it but be aware after 5 min sperm is gone anyway. So if it's after 5 min it's not j&d anyway!

Hope and Dreams, I wouldn't worry about the ovary thing at all....TTC5 here (I hope she doesnt mind me using her name here!) knew she O'ed this time from her left and her nub shot is very convincingly BOY! And like other ladies have said, I know women who only have one tube and have mixed genders. So this cannot be true. I would not worry at all about the 3 follicles being on the right.

Well I am obviously ovulating with levels of 38 and 28.2, so I am not sure she would up the dose? I would think she might if I were not ovulating, but I will ask for sure.

Hi All-
Been rushing around all morning. My girlfriend went into labor last night and I had to run over at 11pm to grab her daughter and bring her to my house. Her dh drover her to the hospital and she had the baby 15 minutes after she arrived. Talk about making it in just the nick of time. Her 2nd girl -- so lucky. I am off to buy presents and go visit her this afternoon -- I can't wait to hold the baby!

H&D-- no worries with left/right side. That is crap. Just dtd as much as possible, that't the best advice. Remember -- we are going for our bfp's this month!!!

Mydream -- You still have a chance. Next month don't drop the supp's. Only do rephresh every 3 days up til your attempts, no touch ups or additional jellies. No j&d. And add a few more attempts and I am sure you will get your bfp!

Littlemiss -- I am so happy for you. It looks like this is a keeper!! I did look up my dd, it would be Dec.6 -- though I have c-sections so I can have her as much as a week early. Maybe Nov. 30, either that or is would have to be Dec. 3, 4, 5, or 6. Not sure I wanna take it all the way to my due date. We'll see...hopefully I get my bfp.
You attempt gives me hope. We did 11 day abstain, then waited 2 hours and dtd again 3 days before o, dtd on 2nd release in 2 hours on 2 days before o and then we dtd again on o day 5 hours after his last release. I am starting to feel like I might have a shot. I am feeling a little bloated and cramp/twinges here and there. I don't wanna look into things too much though. I am 5dpo today. I will start testing monday -- 10dpo. I hope I get 2 lines with my first test -- that would be great!

Ahh, Hope & Dreams...yay for lemons :) I swear, I love my fruit ticker, love looking at all the fruits and thinking about sizes, lol...the only one I didn't like was prune...I like, yuck on that one! Amari if your doing frequent release you can dtd to cover your bases. I dtd the other night for release purposes and was glad I did bc follies were mature. It can't hurt especially with the clomid. Good luck tomorrow at u/s ask how many follies and size if your interested of course!

sweetsister, that's how I felt yesterday.. I was at work when I realized I was "running a fever". so I couldn't take my temp but a coworker said I felt warm to her too. how strange? then that evening, I was feeling normal.

Sweetsister&nks- if temp is due to being sick it wont hurt chances if a bfp. It might actually help having your immune system down your body wont attack the egg! Something I looked into last cycle when I got sick right after an attempt. Still got my bfn but don't think due to the temp!

I would dtd in the evenings -- its easier. I don't know how old your dh is, but if he's on the younger side I would say have him release in the am and dtd in the pm. If he's over 40, then dtd only in the pm is fine. During your attempt days, when your rephresh is due, only use 1/2 application in the morning and dtd at night. If you use the whole thing that nights attempt might be mute. And with using rephresh, I might refrain from the sylk too -- if you do use it only use a tiny dot on him. Are you gonna j&d? I would wait 5 minutes or so then get up. I think J&d makes it harder to get pg.

So I had a huge temp dip this am. Since o my temps have been around 98.4 and this am it was 97.9. Could that be an implantation dip?? If it goes way up tomorrow that will be a great sign. I think I am 6dpo but ff says I am 7dpo...I really believe 6. And I have been having this weird fullness down there -- its very noticable. Its not like I am looking for it -- its pretty obvious. I feel fullness and bloating and yesterday and last night I was feeling mild cramping and pulling. So weird, it makes me think I might be pg because why else would I have all these feelings down there more than a week away from my af?? Plus, I never get af cramps ever -- maybe only the morning my af shows but that is it. Never before. Its all good signs but I don't wanna look too much into things and then get disappointed. But honestly - I will be shocked if I don't get a bfp. I just really think I am for some reason...I feel foolish saying that tho.

So I did my injection yesterday at noon, which means I will O anywhere from today (thursday) at noon, to midnight. We dtd Mon, Tues, Wed (am &pm), and will dtd tonight. Last night DH took a longer time to finish then normal, and he was like we've done it 3x's in 24hrs! He NEVER has a hard time, I am hoping its a good thing. We got the job done last night but DH was exhausted this am and leaves really early for work. I had planned on dtd this am but will have to be pm. Do you think this will hurt my sway. I think it may help with a bfp I just want a pink bfp! What do you think??

Thanks PFP, we're going to stick to evening DTD's, no releasing prior. DH is 44, and he has noticed that there is very little coming out when he releases (sorry, TMI) so is concerned about how much there actually is for me to get pregnant with.

Will cut out the sylk aswell i think, he is having HOT HOT baths before the DTD as well, so the heat, the liquorice root, the daily release and the rephresh is probably doing more then enough to lower the sperm count significantly enough to sway (here's hoping!)
Im not doing J&D - its a gut feel thing - just doesnt feel right...for no logical reason.
Im actually doing the opposite and making sure i stay lying down with a pillow under my backside. I figure (correct me girls if im wrong!) that the sperm count is reduced enough to be swaying hard, so what *is* there i want to *stay* there...

Well I know from my own experience with my DH he gets so stressed when I put him on a timetable so this cycle I am not going to mention any of my ovulation and just nudge him on. I feel the less I talk about it the more calm and less stressed he will be. I would not stress about missing this am, just focus on tonight and have fun with it. It's been so long since me and my DH have just had fun in the bedroom, I could not tell ya!

Lassie -- I think your attempt sounds great. With him being 44 and taking LR do not have him release in the am. Daily release is more than enough. And no sylk -- with the hot bath you have more then enough going on...remember we want to lower fertility not eliminate chances of conceiving entirely. And no jump and dump is great! I didn't do it either. Kept my hips up and legs in the air for 30 minutes after each attempt. We lowered sperm count so much that I wanted to get every little swimmer up there so that I would have a chance. Good luck!

I think tonight will be great H&D for an attempt, if he's already having a hard time, I don't know if he would have even made it this am or not! Also, I totally agree with u about Dec, Jan and even Feb having lots of baby GIRLS! I think Spring is a beautiful time of the year to concieve a child...very special! If we hadn't gotten pregnant like we did in Dec, we were going to hold off trying until March/April because I just had a good feeling about March/April/May being good concepton months! I love the change of seasons, but there is something magical to me about March/April, I love the cool breezes still (where I live, in Virginia) and the warming up, the days starting to get longer, it just feels such a renewal!

PFP, can't wait to hear about tomorrow's temp, but I really think it will RISE and you'll see two dazzling lines soon!

Lassie, I agree with the other ladies, I think your attempts sound really good. I've read about a lot of ladies have luck with licorce root for DH doing the job in helping get them little girls.

Yes, he will be 41 this August, so maybe we did it too much this last cycle. I am not sure, but my DH is worried about his abilities and his swimmers, so hopefully we are going to get his count checked. I hope to hear back from the nurse at my docs office to see if that is a possibility. I am betting my insurance won't pay for it, so I will have to check into that. Someone told me that could have it done on my own as well?

Had my u/s today, I had a bunch of follies on the left and right. She didn't count b/c there was a lot, or measure. She said it looked like I could O anytime and to just dtd now every other day, that opks aren't always reliable. I am still going to keep taking them but we dtd last night and when I got home from the dr and I think we will just keep dtd instead of fr to be sure we catch the egg. Makes me a little nervous b/c I am scared it is too much in there, but I do want to catch it and dh is 42. I just don't want to sway blue. I do feel a lot of swelling in my ovaries but no O pain yet so it still could be up to a week away for o day for me, who knows! She also said I could o from either side but they are slightly bigger on the left.

Amari - I am not sure about how much the amount of sperm up there sways in either direction. If it does at all, it is only a small percentage. Diet and maternal condition is the largest percentage of a sway and you have that part down pat!

Thanks Aurora! I couldn't wait to take my temp in the morning (of course I still will) because I was reading online that if you have a temp drop due to implantation it most likely will rise in less than 24 hours. So I took my temp at noon today, knowing it would be a few tenth's of a degree higher because I was moving around etc., but it was 98.98!!
That is a good sign. It went from 97.9 to 98.98 -- even my post o temps were only 98.4. Hopefully when I wake in the am they will start being 98.6-98.8 and then I will be really confidant having implantation dip and triphasic chart this month.

Feeling anxious. I have been relaxed up until now. I am just waiting to ovulate and it is making me really anxious. I feel like my opks are all over the place. I started feeling swelling in my ovaries and my cheap opks were getting darker, then with the u/s I saw that I had those follicles so that is why, but then this afternoon/this evening they started getting lighter again and I have had no smiley on the clearblue digital. I didn't expect to, no sharp O pain or anything, but I don't know why they are getting lighter, especially when the doctor said the follicles are big. She did say, when I asked, that it is possible that I could O as late as cd21 again. I guess it is just the waiting game that is making me feel this way. Then part of me is like, did I miss it? Or maybe I won't O at all?? I am starting to drive myself a little nuts. And on top of it, just when it matters most my appetite is through the roof. I can't even ignore it because I think I will actually faint and I have had to eat earlier in the day. Today I had to eat at 9:30 then at 3:30 and I will eat again at 8 and that will be it and I had to up my calories. I hope it doesn't ruin my sway. My weight was still down a bit this morning so maybe my body is just not happy with losing more. Sorry for this long rant, I just have nobody to talk to but you ladies! I've been so calm about this until today.

Amari maybe the hunger is o coming. Also AS has said the glucose needs to be low and it's not setting stone the breakkfast has to be skipped. Any meal can b just most people find it easiest to skip breakfast. Just make long stretches between and no snacks. And it's the overall pattern not one day.
Opks can be unreliable the u/s is not!! Go by that. Just relax and dtd daily. Tomorrow I will find a thread I bookmarked that u will feel good about dtd everyday. It is a convo with AS and PFP all about it.

Oh amari, try not to stress - yes I know that's easier said then done, but the more you relax the better your chances are of conceiving a girl.
Try and throw timing out the window and just dtd daily or twice daily, don't worry about catching your ovulation , just keep dtd and hopefully that, with the combination of less stress will make you bfp happen this month.
I've thrown timing out the window completely this month and have just started dtd and will do through to ovulation, am temping and opk ing but am not worried at all about when ov will actually be and I feel so so so much better then last month (because I am a panicking stress head)

I never actually knew about ye increased hunger around ovulation but that makes perfect sense!!!! And explains why I have been starving yesterday and today!!

Amari i had trouble with the opks last cycle because i was testing more than once a day,they never read a positive ,i think its better to do it one time a day,this time i did first thing in the morning and i had a fade in then 4 day pos and a fade out,
I also know how you feel about the sahara,thats why this time i used preseed,it really saved me..

AFM, FF gave me a O date of CD12 which I know is not accurate because I had an u/s that day and the follies were there with eggs!! I'll have to do an override. Just pointing out how FF is just a computer program and can be wrong! And I know I O'd 24-36 hrs after the injection! So far we attempted mon, tues, wed (am &pm), thurs, and we tried this am and got interupted by DS2. I think tonight will be too late. O was anywhere from Thursday at noon to midnight. Should I try tonight??
My cousin is coming all weekend. I can eat my crazy diet with her, but we have a bridal shower Sunday. Arrrr, I think they'll be an omlette station I can get an egg white omlette, and maybe treat myself to a muffin or something bc I will be several days past O. Thoughts? Suggestions, for a brunch buffet.

It happened to you twice huh hmmm this happened last month to me too,but my temps rose for 2 days 3dpo though,i really think it is the clomid because i have hot then cold flashes back,leg pain and thats it ,if i were sick i would have other things like cough runny nose ect?So i guess well see if its 2 days like the last time.

I would eat that omelette sounds good and muffin, theyll probably have loads of stuff you can eat at a buffet, then just adjust your dinner to less,and one day eating some semi bad stuff isnt going to hurt:)

Amari- I would not worry about dtd multiple times. Its the maternal condition the sways, not the number of sperm up there. If sperm count sways, its only a tiny little percentage. The diet and supp's are the major percentage of a sway.

Temp rose again this morning to normal range -- 98.3. So I had this huge dip yesterday, I went from 98.44 on Wedn. to 97.9 yesterday back up to 98.3 today. Hopefully my temps go even higher tomorrow.
I really hate not knowing. I really hope I am cause I am being so bad and kinda off the diet in this 2ww. I had chicken and salad for dinner last night. Oh well, hopefully I am pg and that won't matter. Think I should start testing on Sunday, 9dpo? I am just scared to see a bfn.

hi all thought i would keep you up to date with my hcg levels well monday they were 63 and 3 days later (thursday morning) they were 501 !!!! they shot up the doc was suprised lol,

I totally agree with the ladies....I don't really persoanlly believe sperm count sways that hard, as I've said before a million times, my two boys were pull out accidents where my husband dind't ejecuate fully. If sperm count swayed hard (and obviously it was lower sperm count because it wasn't the full blast) then logic would have it that I would have had two girls, right? Well, obviously my maternal condition (eating snacks, lots of chocolate, fatty, heatlhy foods) definitely overweighed the sperm count issue. My body felt both times a BOY would be a better choice because of my condition!

Also, another example to help you as well is a recent IG swayer who I bonded with before I left there just found out shes' having a girl! She went against the advice on IG about one time DTD at o+12 and DTD daily, and one day 3x, all through ovulation for I think like 5-7 days. I bet a lot of ladies on IG were sure she was going to have a boy because of sperm count numbers, but no, shes' having a girl! I still think lots and lots of DTD'ing thru O can soemtimes sway more girl than boy because the man's body can't always keep up with that demand, so after a while, he's not releasing a ton of swimmers anyway in lots of frequent batches.

My doc never called me yesterday, but I see I have a prescription for 50mg Clomid waiting at the pharmacy that was filled yesterday, so I guess she did not up the dosage boohooo!!!

Kraizy they are all 50 mg you just take 2 a day,did she only give you 5 pills of 50mg?Because mine came in a pack and i had 2 months and some of using 100mg or 2x50mg.
