Do I have any chance at all??
My pink sway is starting officially next month so i have a zillion thoughts & questions that are shooting through my mind!!
I have a heap so if someone has any answers, I really appreciate it.
Im so worried that we dont stand a chance at getting our DG, like all the odds are against us.
I am going to start on the LE diet as of Jan (have already made minor adjustments, skipping breakfast, drinking loads of diet coke etc). I will be taking vitex, SP, zyrtec, aspirin, clomid (need it to O), cant decide between FR or abstain yet, and will def get caught up in all the ions & moon phases etc
Because I have slowly gone into the diet and made it a lifestyle choice now opposed to a crash diet, will it still be as effective? Is the point of the diet to shock the body suddenly?
I'm a little unsure for DH though. He will take LR & try cut back on red meat.
Do I need him to turn vegetarian or cut back on salt? He is a huge salt eater but is actually keen to do a 'detox' diet.
DH also has a lot of allergies so takes zyrtec every morning. Could this sway blue?
Besides the allergies, DH is quite healthy. He doesn't smoke, doesn't drink much, is a hard worker but doesn't play any active sports or work out.
He is quite a small build too. Is LR enough to lower his sperm count?
DH is considering having his NY resolution be that he start working out frequently (gym, weights) loads of protein & supplements - does this sway blue?
Ive noticed a few successful girl sways have DH taking cranberry - what exactly does this do to him & how important is it?
Ok, I think that's all for now. Thank you if you managed to read all that!!

You shouldn't take vitex or sp when on clomid because they can counter act each other also from everything I've read on here you can do one month with major sway tactics on clomid but after that you should start removing things from you sway because it is very important to get pregnant quickly while on clomid goodluck in your sway!

You shouldn't take anything, other than baby aspirin, whilst on clomid - Clomid makes it harder to conceive as it is.
Your OH can do antihistamines - but don't do it yourself. Clomid + diet should sway on it own. If you got PCOS look into whether you need metformin as this sways pink too!2005

If you want to take vitex you can take it af to af (or af to o) if you prefer in the months before you ttc, then the month you begin your sway drop it and start clomid.
I did sway tactics on clomid and caught first month - you can start out with a real hard core sway if you want but you will have to drop things as the months go on as you can only have 6 months on clomid in anyone go and if you need it to ovulate you don't want to be left with no baby at the end of.

Hi ladies, thanks for the replies.
I should have been more specific that I am taking V, SP months prior to attempt & am dropping them once I start clomid.
Does anyone have any idea re my queries re DH?

Hi DB!
We don't know if diet is more effective, less effective, or equally effective. It has seemed lately like people are doing better dieting more gently for a longer time than being very strict for a short time.
DH does not need to go fully veg or cut back on salt. Giving up meat may help. I doubt salt sways much if at all because people seem to have an unlimited taste for it and still have 50-50 boys and girls regardless.
Zyrtec may sway pink if he takes it.
LR can help lower any guy's sperm count and quality. Having a small build may also help sway pink, obv. not 100% but it may help in some way.
We honestly don't know much about DH's level of exercise. It may depend on how much he does. What I would do is have him start wearing tighter underwear, even a jock, to the gym.
Cran for DH may lower his pH and/or kill some sperm or it may sway pink for some other reason entirely.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Hi Deux Blues,
You and me have a very similar story and timeline. I also have 2 lovely boys and am SO nervous about the thought of attempting a sway. I keep reading Atomic's posts about thin girls with naturally high metabolisms (me) that naturally sway blue although i eat mostly what i like when i like. My Dh is also quite fit and sexually driven type A alpha-male so i feel he naturally sways blue as well. My main concern is not whether i can stick to the diet because i am sure if i put my mind to it i can do it. My main concern (and fear) is BD tactics. When to do it? Abstain or don't? Does DH have to change his diet? I don't trust BDing on O day because both my sons were conceived on O day - although some girls claim they BD all the way through. So how do you decide?
I'm also planning my diet from Jan but i honestly don't think my DH even wants anymore children. So in a way, i feel like i'm deluded for even bothering with the diet. When you talk about LR is that Licorice Root?

Yeah, I think a longer more gentle diet approach could definitely work. That's how my sway was this time around. I was dieting for a while. For months and months, and without trying my diet was way more girl friendly. In the 2 weeks before my sway I did a typical Le girl diet getting extremely strict 1 week before O/our attempt. Dropped weight quickly ( although I was losing weight gradually over months...the overall trend was weight loss). So if you have the time I think a more relaxed girl diet for a few months is great. Now you have around 4 weeks before ur
Attempt right? I would try and be stricter. Just try not to let the stricter diet stress you out to much!Last edited by babydust; December 16th, 2012 at 06:06 PM.
