I haven't ever been diagnosed with pcos but I'm often suspicious I have it.
I want to start following the pcos diet but for some reason couldn't find the link.... Would anyone mind finding it for me?
I normally have white pasta, would it be much better to change to wholemeal?
I also like eating wheatabix... Is this a no-no for a girl? Xx

There's also a sticky post called "LE diet for PCOS" in the TTC a Girl forum. If you do the PCOS diet then you'd want to have whole grains instead of white carbs.'12

Weetabix is a kind of breakfast cereal and that is associated with more boys conceived anyway.
Pasta - yes you should switch to wholegrain if you can stand it, it's pretty vile tasting though and even the wholegrain is quite carby, so you may want to drop it all together or occasionally have small amounts of normal pasta cut with cauliflower 50-50 (it's way better than it sounds LOL)Last edited by atomic sagebrush; July 22nd, 2016 at 12:18 PM.

I'd weetabix swaying girl only for the pros diet? I thought cereals swayed blue? Only reason I ask is I ate weetabix twice a day for a year, losing weight for my wedding and conceived my dd a few weeks after wedding. I have avoided weetabix as it's a cereal, just curious!

Ooh that's good to know!! I'm not eating it as a breakfast as I'm skipping it and having only coffee, but sometimes I do have weetabix around lunch time and that therefore basically becomes my lunch!
I had a feeling you would say no to it atomic, because it would be too nutritious being a breakfast cereal x

Sorry to hijack your thread pinkbutterfly, I have a related question!
Where I live Shredded Wheat is unfortified and has nothing added to it at all, would this be ok on a girl sway as it doesn't contain any vitamins or minerals?Proud mama ofand 1
