    We don't know. Unlike virtually all other foods, breakfast cereal in and of itself was associated with more boys conceived. We assume that this is either because it is fortified, or because it is breakfast (and maybe skipping breakfast is better) or both. But I don't KNOW that it's either of those things and so while yes, I do personally believe that unfortified cereal is ~probably~ ok, I can't say that for 110% certain and it is easy enough to just avoid it.
