Can a positive pregnancy test be wrong?

I am day 25 of my cycle and just for fun (and because the curiousity was driving me bonkers) I thought I'd test early....

    20151206_090142.jpg

my question is, on the side of the first response box, it said that because it detects such small amounts of the hormone, its possible that it can say your pregnant even when you're not. Could this be a false positive? I didnt think it would show up this early in my cycle considering my cycles can be up to 38 days long. I really was expecting the test to be negative.

lol thank you, I guess Im in a little shock as I was trying not to get my hopes up that the first month trying with Clomid would be successful. I got my positive opk on Nov 25th, so I suppose a day or 2 after that was when I ovulated. maybe 10 days past ovulation?

Congrats . That's an awesome line! This time I got a really lovely strong positive on CD24. I'm not sure when I ovulated though. But with DS3 I had already missed AF and I was just getting squinters (all FRER's too). I'm so excited for you whoop whoop
