So my temps were still down (dipped a little lower even) but we did our bd this morning, just under 12 hrs after the first pos opk. Hope everything lines up nicely! Thanks for talking me down last night, im glad I waited - even though it was more like 3.5 days, I like that I was able to comprise without feeling like I tossed my hard work aside.

Thank you mommymachine!! I do too! I feel great about it, especially since we have a function tonight and may not make it back in time.
My temps HADNT spiked at 6am, but I feel absolutely nothing inside compared to what I felt last night. I do believe that I may have ovulated mid-late morning today. Timing should be nice, and I guess we'll say I'm officially-officially in the TWW! Hurray!!!

It's hard isn't it, not everybody understands or appreciates people's desire for short spacing between pregnancies or big families. I work in the care sector and being mostly female dominated I find they are more understanding but I did have a male boss a few years back when I fell pregnant with my 3rd baby he actually said to me "You already have one of each why do you want another?" Needless to say I was not amused!!! Your timing sounds perfect, good luck to you and I hope the tww doesn't drag for you :)

Lol I'm nervous too! I do feel very boy friendly though - my cm didn't go hostile like I had hoped, in fact it was so much the other way that I feel like my fertility was increased. Either way. I will be glad to be done with the diet and such though.

I can't wait to be done with the diet too!! I miss red meat so much! I didn't realize how often we eat it until I started swaying. All of my favorite dishes are made with red meat, lol!! I am also nervous. I am really hoping we all get our DG! :D

I feel the same as you ladies with the diet. I don't feel like I have done too well with it this week, I've only eaten twice each day as normal but I've been giving into temptation a little too often lol I bought some nice homemade fudge the other day and I ate quite a bit lol I dread to think what my fat intake has been this week, although I've tried to have days where I knew I would be under on my totals to try and make up for it lol I'm definitely ready to start eating normally again :) I can understand you being nervous hitme but you have done all you can and I think you have a great chance at getting a girl, will keep everything crossed for you ladies (and myself of course :))

Idk what id do without you guys now! I went and bought some dollar store opks - took 2 over a few hours - both neg, and my cm has turned creamy/sticky. That's a fab sign. I hope the stars align and I see I temp spike in the am!

I cooked silverside for family last night so its now been added to my meat to do list when all this is over. Top rank foods are kfc zinger burger (although probably won't taste near as good as remember) chicken of any kind/flavour, scotch fillet steak, home made chunky steak and creamy mushroom pie, beef slowcooked and pie filling wrapped entirely in puff pastry.

I know what you mean, Magical! 2 of my sisters are about to start ttc next month (don't ask me why we tell each other this, lol!) and I know it's going to make it so much more difficult for me to stick to swaying. DH isn't helping because he's really anxious for us to have a baby. I know he's trying to take some of the pressure off of me but it actually only makes it harder. I'm really hoping to get my bfp this month, so I don't feel like I am competing with my sisters. :/

Right now I am still having horrible O pains. Yesterday it was on the right side but today it's on the left! O.o It really is excruciatingly painful. I just want to curl up with a heating pad. Hopefully it'll stop soon!

I'm very glad I'm not alone in that hitme, I agree with you there, if only one day/week of diet was what mattered then we wouldn't do it for so long would we :-) I've already got my "normal" foods stocked up in the freezer, cheese and red onion burgers, bbq chicken breasts, chicken tikka masala, yum, can't wait to scoff it all ha ha. It's funny but since starting this diet I crave things that I can't eat that I wouldn't normally eat, strange

Hi True! Can I ask a question about your opks? That's the dual cb test with smiley face right? Just wondering how many days of flashing smileys you had? Been reading reviews and some people have had up to 8 days of flashing b4 getting solid. I like the idea that they use fmu but didn't want to have to buy 2 boxes (incase I go over the 7 days) and have been tossing up whether to get the first response test strips instead. I cant find any cb digitals (the original yes/no ones) here they all stock the duals now. Went on Amazon to order and would cost $60+ in shipping to Australia so canned that idea!!

Just thrown abit by the reviews I guess and that you have to either buy another one if you use more than the 7 in box or order more test sticks online. Think I'm going to go with it though :). I was like you with the reviews and so annoyed they changed it but i wouldnt change brand. I know priceline has cheaper test but they are not digital

Sounds like a plan. Hopefully you O on time next month and hit the jackpot. I know what it's like having to drop stuff. I had this perfect sway planned out and then realised that I can't actually do most of it. I didn't even jump and dump at all this attempt. Just lay there all night hoping some swimmers survived :)

With me only having a 25 day cycle last one we may be o'ing around same time. FF reckons I may have oed day 11 last cycle. I always used to be pretty much 30 day cycle and o on day 14 prior to ds2 so maybe its right?? In that case I could expect to o between thursday (cd11) and sunday next week. I kinda hope I get a positive opk next Wednesday as dh back to shift work on the Thursday.....

So I have never gotten a positive OPK at CD10. But these look suspiciously positive. The top one is for sure positive but the bottom is not quite. Should I take this as positive and attempt? Or wait and see tomorrow? I don't usually get very good surges in the evening. Will our BD 4 days ago be considered an attempt and now screw everything up?? Why is it the month we go for it the one that is so different?!?!?!

Ugh mommymachine, isn't that frustrating! Last cycle was our first TTC attempt and I had my every 4 days BD planned out and then of course, I O'd 2 days early. Are you BDing every 4 days or doing something different? Since it looks like you O a day or 2 after your first + opk, I think I would probably try to do an attempt tomorrow morning if possible. That would keep with the every 4 days and still get your one attempt in close to O.

Mommymachine this is a similar situation to me! Test again tonight at like 8. Bc my attempt in the 4 day Stretch was 3 days before the pos and I was afraid bc I got the surge in the morning I made my attempt the next morning (instead of the evening of day 4 i opted for morning of day 4). I'm glad too bc I believe I Od in the day meaning the swimmers should still have been ready to meet the egg... If I waited to long it might not have worked out so well. Not that I know that it worked at all... Lol

Magical22- did you get scan results? How is everything looking?

I got mine scan done today, there is one dominant follicle at 15mm ( I am cd 13 today), growing bit slower. I am back for another ultrasound on cd15. I don't think I would get shot until close to weekend.

I am planning to do do 3-4 attempts from the evening of shot.

What do you think ladies? Is that good enough?

Today went well I have 3 follies growing actually. 19mm, 18mm and 15mm. Will have the trigger shot tonight at 6pm.

Gg8 they grow around 2mm a day so FX for the end of the week [emoji106]🏼

The more attempts the better I guess.

My RE wanted to put me on 100 mg clomid for an IUI round. I'm assuming he will still want to do 100 mg for a timed intercourse cycle too.
Doesn't that sound like a lot if my FSH was at 14?
He is letting me chose between clomid and femara so not sure which one to choose.
He believes based on my numbers ( AMH 1.2/ FSH 14) I will respond better to clomid.

Me and dh went out last week, a new American style restaurant opened up in our town so we went there and I think I must have consumed my entire weeks limits ha ha. We had pulled pork nachos to start (with all the salsa, cheese and guacamole) yum yum, a chicken and bacon burger (with coleslaw and salad) with fries and we shared a pudding of triple chocolate cake and ice cream, it was sooooo naughty but sooooo nice just to have one night where I didn't worry about what I was eating :) of course I felt guilty afterwards (but not for long ha ha)

Why not try a cycle or 2 and see how it goes; you'll be monitored at least (im on 100 and not...) - at this point it wouldn't hurt to go along with him and give it a whirl

I'm happy to be on clomid but can't compare as I don't know anything about femara. I also don't know about the levels.

I just take 50mg I thought that's what people usually start on and then they either go up or down dosage from there if 50mg doesn't work. But your FS will know what to do I'm sure [emoji5]️

True that sounds like great attempts! Even if you didn't get temp rise this morning and do tomorrow morning doesn't that mean you had three attempts between monday and tuesday? If your temp rises tomorrow indicating you oed today thats 3 attempts between 0-1 and 0-2 right? Hope I've read this right just trying to reassure you what I'm reading looks great!

True, I reckon your temp will go up further tomorrow and ff will ultimately decide that you o'd yesterday and that today was the first 'rise' albeit a small one. This is what happened to me this month - my first rise was barely above coverline, but I was convinced like me you that I ovulated the previous day and ff agreed! Welcome to the 2ww!!! I tested this morning (9dpo) and got a BFN, but I'm hopeful that there is still time! I've found it super impossible to have the motivation to continue the diet this last week and have slacked off a bit....

So if you o during the night that would make a 0-2 which is good! Can you poas tomorrow morning and decide from there? If its lighter then you'll know you've oed and have a good one attempt in. If it's same or darker make a decision then :)

Unfortunately this is not true; an OPK going negative does NOT necessarily mean you've Oed yet. I get only 1 positive most months and I usually O 2 am, 2 days after my positive, sometimes I O on the 3rd day after.

Bottom line, how many days of positives you get and when the fade out doesn't tell you when you Oed. Only temping can do that.

I'm here but it looks like we were too late again. It looks like I'm ovulating the same day as +OPK. How can this be? I guess I'm still missing surge. 12 noon is best for me , it appears. This is so frustrating guys. We met with RE last week and we'll start testing on CD3 and then CD6-10 along with a semen analysis in July (hubby goes in super early to work and we absolutely won't do this in the office). Ya it's dull pain mainly, but left side concentration. It's been so long since I've analyzed my cycles and of course I'm hyper aware of every little feeling while Ttc (esp on Clomid..) eager to see where this goes!

I haven't done to much swaying, I lost too much weight when I did LE diet 2-4 months ago and I'm trying to get it back. With my boys I had lots of EW and CM this time I haven't had any. I also did 2 attempts over the fertile period, so haven't really been playing by the rules. I'm just desperate to get pregnant, and trying to not stress about it all and I think being on the diet was stressing me out. But also desperate for pink

I called my gp but she was not interested at all basically just fobbed me off as I had not been trying for at least a year, I may call again with the hope of speaking to a different doctor. With cycles this short I would guess it's near to impossible to get pregnant but all she told me to do was have regular sex!!

My spotting is back and heavier now so I think I'm going to count myself as out for this month :( I went to see my doc this morning and they have said short cycles (even ones of 16 days like my last one) don't concern them from a conception point of view and just gave me a chart to fill in with my menstrual dates and flow details (spotting etc) not really what I was hoping for and now I don't know what to do now. Good luck to everyone else, hope you all get your bfp's :)

Thank you hun. I completely agree with you there, I think I'm mainly fobbed off as I already have 4 children and she even said to me "we know you're fertile as you already have kids", doesn't mean I'm not having fertility issues now though does it :( my flow at the min is still just spotting, I'm using a panty liner as it's not enough for a pad, if it doesn't develop more than that I will still take a test just in case but I would be very surprised to get a bfp this month. I had a "period" with my eldest though so I guess I still have a small glimmer of hope here. Xxx

Not really any clues but progesterone levels still up so at least that's a good thing.
I did use an old test using fMu but I do not believe it was an FRER and it was neg. so early I knew it woudnt be pos. But I'll feel better about having some anniversary drinks and not thinking about possible pregnancy too much now.

I think if this is af, it's still only spotting at the moment, then I will call them a third time and ill keep calling until they do something productive or until I get pregnant. I'm joining in, ladies! I've only gotten to be a part of ONE of these 2WW threads since TTC in October (thanks, long cycles...)

My timing is shot for a boy though as hubby was out of town one week, then I was out of town the next week and we were so tired when we finally got back together and really wasn't expecting to O on my own. So...we'll see what the next few weeks bring! Good luck to everyone! :)

I went upstairs earlier and noticed my hpts sitting on top of the cabinet in the bathroom so, as I'm a poas addict at the mo lol, I thought what the heck ill do one and I'm not sure if my eyes are tricking me or not but I'm sure I can make out a very faint line, it was not fmu so I will do another one tomorrow first thing to see if anything darker is on there, maybe I'm just clinging to false hope but I will update once I know for sure either way.

My kids are on summer vacation so at least I have a little distraction with them but so far it hasn't been enough, lol! Thanks ladies! Not sure how I feel about it at the moment...obviously would be excited with a BFP, but frequency is not on my side with this sway for a boy, so if it's a BFN I won't be upset since we can have a better chance with timing next month.

Mommymachine I'm only going to chart to confirm o so will be stopping after that. Is there a trend in charting after o that can indicate pregnancy? I know about temp drop prior to af but mine stay elevated until af almost gone.

Nothing in a chart can really indicate pregnancy so there maybe is no real need to temp beyond O confirmation, other than another thing to obsess over :D

Hitme, Yes I will test first thing tomorrow morning so I'm hoping if I am pregnant that there will be a darker line with my fmu, fingers crossed anyway :) I've just looked for that app but couldn't find one on android :( it sounds great for a poas addict ha ha. And yes it can! If temps stay up... But Ithats that's what stressed some folks out - any flux might send them into a panic early on... Causing stress.
