So exciting Mandy!!!! I hope tomorrow's test is a BFP!

Yes that is what I am worried about. Stressing over if a temp is too low. We will see. I know I ovulated, and I know the due date would be March 1st if I get pregnant, so maybe that is enough to "know" right now. I will think about it.

Ugh I have terrible cramps already. Pretty sure this isn't my month. I do not really want to Ttc next month bc due date would be so close to ds4's and that would Suck but hubby says if we don't and then run into trouble we'll be wishing we took every opportunity. He's so right. I just wish we could land it this month....

Hitme, I keep tracking my temp as I get a temp drop couple days before Af shows. I think if pregnant, your temp will stay up and rise. Good luck x

Def out ladies :-(. Horrible slow starting AF that took 4 days to get going from spotting and kept leaving me hoping it was implantation bleeding - but she arrived in full force in the night! And temps down this morning. Feeling glum - I remember this horrible feeling from TTC in the past, and the slightly surprised feeling as to how on earth it didn't work - I mean, there were how many millions of little swimmers in the right place at the right time and NONE of them were successful?!

GL to the rest of you ladies, I will be back in a few weeks!

Thank you ladies :) I will test again in a couple of days and just hope it's still there and darker. My worry is the bleeding has got heavier, not like a normal period but it's not just spotting anymore. Yes fox I think it did, it wasn't there straight away so I put it down, checked my phone then went back to it and the line was there.

Thanks! I was hoping it was incorrect. What makes you say CD17 vs CD16 though?

The big temp jump occurred after CD17. Also, often O occurs on the day after your last day of fertile CM. I would guess you probably Oed pretty early on CD17, possibly even before temping but not enough time had passed for your P levels and thus temp to jump. Hope that makes sense.

It is super common for temps to rise for a few days right before O. I.e., O doesn't always occur on the day with a particularly low temp.

Still good and what I hope to see now is another shift up. I was gonna test today but wound up testing yesterday and it was stark white - so I kinda don't want to tests again today. So soon really. Tomorrow will be 8dpo and a more reasonable test frame. Pms symptoms continue.

I would risk it!

Mandy, congrats on your BFP and prayers for a sticky bean and no more bleeding.

True, thanks for asking....not much going on, I've been VERY unwell the past 3 weeks or so, sleeping 16 hours a day and barely awake the rest of the time. Just incredibly exhausted all the time beyond the norm, possibly it's linked to my pain which has been far worse also. Then last cycle and this cycle I had super delayed O, and I couldn't figure out why....but I think it was the super high dose of fish oil I was taking. I dropped down in dose several days ago and just Oed. Very painful O! I has a cyst rupture on CD4 this cycle and it was awful, I thought I had appendicitis at first. So not a very good time recently. :/

I have been considering attempting next month if I could get Clomid in time but I doubt I'll be functional enough. I think I need antidepressants and they take a month to kick in. So likely I'll just be lurking until September amd then I'll resume swaying in preparation for TTC in December.

Big congrats on your BFP Mandy!! Praying for a sticky bean for you!

[QUOTE=mandyp85;723994
Taytum, did you have more than one attempt in your fertile window? Xxx[/QUOTE]
Unfortunately, no. I'd been out of town two days before O so we BD'ed O+2 and that was it. [emoji17] Frequency not good for a boy sway but I literally was ready to begin Provera day of temp spike so I was not expecting it after a 100+ cycle and 70+ cycle. Here's to hoping my diet/exercise/supplements are stronger than my timing! [emoji170][emoji92]

I also won't temp this weekend but start back up Monday. Get some rest over the weekend!

Maiden - sorry to hear about your pain and struggles. I wondered about the delayed O when I saw your chart. I've never (I don't think) had a cyst rupture so I couldn't imagine the pain, but it sounds awful. I hope you're taking care of yourself as well. September will be here before we know it!

Taytum, all is not lost with the one attempt, me and dh have never been frequent bd'ers (apart from the first few months after we got together) rarely do it more than once a week and we have 3 boys!!! If you are following the he diet I would say you would still have a great shot at a boy :)

Oh maiden how terrible!! You are going through the mill - it sounds awful. I would love to be able to do something really nice for you, you deserve some serious looking after. I do think giving yourself the month on antidepressants and get yourself into a better place physically & mentally before easing back into swaying. It's very draining all on its own without factoring in outside stresses.
Lots of love & support to you xx

Pbn3- my cycle is usually 28-30 days long, with a few days of pre-af spotting. But it varies from cycle to cycle. I've had 26 day cycles before. This time I know I ovulated early on cd 10-11, so it makes sense af is early too.

Actually, we were planning to take a break from ttc this month, just cause I was getting tired from it all after 6 months. So our last bd was cd8, but since o came early I thought it could count as an attempt. Anyway, I'll try to get some blood work this tuesday, see if we learn something from it.

Thanks for the clarification hitme and Maiden! I know when I got my CP in February I had shooting pain from ovary down to vagina, but this is just slight cramping and twinges. I know every cycle is different, but not having too much experience with O makes me curious.

Ladies! I'm spotting! I'm 8 possible 9 dpo. So this is either very good news or kinda bad news. If IB then Yes!!! (Although I WISH I had been better on the diet and cardio in tww...) but if it's Af then kind terribly short luteal phase... Which remember im on Clomid and that's supposed to be great for a short luteal .
Welp. That's my update. Guess I'll know more soon enough.
I binged... Each day for the last 3 I've been increasingly worse with the diet. Tomorrow I'm back on the wagon - just in case im not pg (and I feel lousy from this food ugh).

Urgh, Mandy, UK GPs are so frustrating, aren't they?! One of my daughter's has a potentially very serious birthmark and they were totally useless with us, we had to badger them for ages to get a referral. Don't worry about what they think, just do what is best for you and keep persisting until you get some answers! I know this can be easier said than done :-)

Hitme, sorry to hear you are out this month - I am still lurking on this forum and hoping I can officially rejoin the 2ww before the end of June, if not I will see you in the July 2ww forum! My luteal phase length is making me nervous too this cycle, I started spotting very lightly on 9dpo, then very light bleed before AF arrived properly 12dpo....

Looking forward to hearing more news from you ladies who are waiting to test!

Yeah they really are, sometimes it feels like trying to get blood out of a stone when it comes to getting proper answers out of them, I mean my cycles are not normal so how that doc can say it's not a concern is beyond me, it's like they are reluctant to do anything that costs money unless it's absolutely essential. I hope everything is OK with your daughter, when it comes to children you shouldn't have to pressure them should you, should be better safe than sorry in my opinion.

Tiff, CD16 is correct. When your OPK turns negative does NOT tell you when you Oed; the length of the surge is generally not related to how long it tskes your body to respond to the surge I.e. O. Plus, temps are way more accurate than OPKs at determining O.

So here is my daily update lol, I did another hpt this am and the line is still there, I think it may be slightly darker than yesterday. I have an appt with my gp, the one I was hoping to see in the first place about my strange cycles so I'm hoping I can get a decent answer about everything today, if this is a chemical pregnancy does anybody know if it would likely to be because of my short cycles?

Good luck to everybody waiting to attempt or test :-)

Mandy I've read and heard the same however I've also heard of 6 months ttc being something to go on to. And if you've had babies before they seem to think 'well we know you can get pregnant' so no use worrying about doing something till 6-12 months trying. I'm lucky that I've seen the same gp for 7+ years now and she's great! But in saying that even she wasn't willing to refer me to a fs until I'd been ttc for at least 3 months.

And they should know as well as anyone that that isn't always the case. I would just like to have a definite answer either way so that I can move on, hopefully ill get that today. Thank you :)
Yes...strongly agree mandyp ...my sister in law is trying from 2 years she has pcos and her first one was conceived after 1 1/2 years . Every time she has to listen to the same stuff " u got one naturally ...tht means u r fertile blah blah"
This time she was 15 days late for her period and was very upset as she had one mc 3 months back but the doc refused simply by saying tht we cant do anything ...
By the way there is a family planning clinic which helped her and tested her blood and they were v helpful and all was free of charge ...

It's not fair at all is it, if someone is struggling to conceive they should be given help even if they have conceived naturally before, i hope your sister in law gets pregnant very soon, has she tried seeing a different doc? surely there is something they can do to help her after 2 years! my sister in law is also in a similar position, is currently on clomid (think it's her last cycle now) and she has said if she doesn't get pregnant this time she is just going to give up but I think her docs are quite good, shame they can't all be like that.

I have just got back from seeing my doc and she took blood to test for pregnancy so I should know tomorrow whether I am or not. She has told me to go back in two weeks pregnant or not so I'm hoping if I'm not pregnant we will have the discussion about where to go next. This doc is very relaxed about stuff and if she can help she will. So fingers crossed.

Wow this thread has gotten long! Lots of ladies TTC in June... Anyone else at 9 DPO? I'll probably test tomorrow. We got one attempt in at pos OPK at O-1. I have no symptoms whatsoever so I'm not feeling hopeful. I did have some spotting yesterday and the day before but I also have a yeast infection (gross, I know) and I know that can cause spotting as well, so I can't assume IB.

If this is our month, I'll be disappointed in our sway because I had a terrible cheat day the day before our attempt. Lots of fatty foods and beer, as we were away for our anniversary. But I'll still prefer a BFP over a BFN! I've also been bad during this 2WW too, I suck at the LE diet!

TrueBlue - I definitely think you're too early! FX for you that you get your BFP within the next few days.

mandy - Hopefully you have good news to share with us today. But if not, it sounds like you're in better hands with your new doc.

Mandy - I'm torn when to test. The last time I ovulated on my own I got a BFP 9dpo, but was a chemical. [emoji17] Dr. said as soon as I get a BFP again make an appt for bloods to be drawn - so Friday is 10dpo which I could test, but then I'd have to wait all weekend for results and scared of getting my hopes up again. So I might just wait until 12dpo next Monday. Decisions, decisions! [emoji6] Glad your new doctor seems willing to really help you regardless of outcome! Sounds like you're in good hands.

True - fingers crossed for you! [emoji170][emoji92] I agree - I think it's just too early. Try 9dpo with FRER!

YayBaby - I don't think one cheat day will undue all of your weeks of swaying! I always have those fears, but have been reassured that it's not the end all be all; I hope you got to enjoy your anniversary! [emoji4] everything crossed for a BFP for you; your chart looks good! [emoji166][emoji92]

Yaybaby I guarantee you that a one day cheat, no matter how much of a cheat, right before attempt will not make a difference to your sway :)
Good Luck!!

Momamia I hope it's too soon for both of us :fx:

Taytum I love your will power :)
I want to skip testing tomorrow at 8dpo but I know the first thought when I open my eyes will be a test :D
Good Luck to you when you do test :)

I'm not very hopeful I have zero symptoms but I have to say I would love a surprise BFP I totally won't be expecting it!!!!

You're right TaytumJ, I doubt any of us are perfect with the diet, it is just too hard. I'm just nervous about my cheat day being soooo close to our attempt (and yes, we had a great time for our anniversary ).

Man, it would be hard to wait all weekend to test! I think I would cave and do it Friday if I were you. But I definitely understand you wanting to wait. I think I might have had a CP last cycle and I'm almost glad I don't know for sure. Hoping you get that BFP, you're chart is looking good so far!

Just saw your post TrueBlue, we must have been typing at the same time! Glad to hear you don't think my extreme cheat day should hurt too much! I'm really thinking I'm out this month, I'm spotting again today. I never spot before AF so I'm thinking its from this stupid infection.

Like you, I am having no symptoms. But with my DS, I didn't really have symptoms either at this point, I just remember being really thirsty. So maybe we can hold on to some hope!

Is anyone still using rephresh or any time of jelly ? I was thinking about dropping it for the next cycle but I am worried that my ph won't be low enough. I am not the best at the le diet

daisy4 - I used RePhresh this cycle and last. If I don't get a BFP this time, I am dropping it along with the antihistamines for next cycle. I suck at the LE diet too and I don't have time for exercise since I have a toddler that doesn't sleep. So even though my sway isn't super strong, I'm hoping my halfway attempt at the LE diet and BD every 4 days works for us.

YayBaby - I have actually seen atomic say that a cheat day even right at O is fine, she even said it might help to ensure that you do ovulate, it certainly won't have a negative affect on your sway :) I have had loads of cheat days lately, been on the diet for 5 months now and I'm just craving chocolate, chicken and curry so I know what ill be doing as soon as I get a bfp ha ha.

Taytum - I know how you feel regarding testing early, I tested early in April and got a bfp but that ended up being a chemical :( I have no willpower when it comes to poas lol I understand you wanting to wait but good luck to you when you do test.

the doc I had today is great, she said pregnant or not she wants to see me again in two weeks, she mentioned me maybe having a short lp so fingers crossed I will get things sorted if this little bean isn't a sticky one (which I hope it is)

So I had another flashing smiley face this morning. Then a couple hours later had some cramping and cm happening. Was thinking I should do another test this arvy to see if it's solid even though your only supposed to test with fmu. I also have one test strip I can use to. Would anyone else bother testing this arvy or wait till morning? Because I've had issues getting pos opks in the past I guess I'm wanting to make sure I dont miss the surge... advice anyone?

I think you are gearing up to ovulate. You probably will within the next 12-24 hours. It is very common to get two days of a flashing smiley on the CB digis- I always did! If you haven't had your attempt yet, I would! O-1 yields best odds of conception by far!!

Well, I just started spotting. It's right on time for af in a few days and completely typical of my cycles. :/ This is the 3rd month of a "whoopsie" (aka DH impatient to start ttc) which was a single attempt in my fertile window (o-1 for 2 cycles & o-2 for 1 cycle). I'm completely shocked that I haven't fallen pregnant yet. I guess I should take that as a sign that my sway has changed things. Hopefully the clomid will work and I'll get lucky next cycle! GL ladies!!! :)

If it were me, I would def test again this arvo, especially with the strip one - then again, if it is neg and your smiley face is still flashing.... what will you do? This is where all the guessing/doubting creeps in... Goodluck!! Exciting! :)

Immi if the strip test is negative and still a flashing smiley I'll wait and test again in morning. Suppose to wait for a solid smiley anyway. If strip looks pretty positive I'll do another digital to see if smiley solid and I'll bd if it is. This may change by this arvy lol I'll do the tests and make a decision from there. Sorry it's not looking promising coveredinblue. Hopefully next month is your month. I'm guessing I'm out this month too. Took a FRER and a Wondfo test this morning, both clearly negative. 8 DPO and BFN. I know it's early but it's still discouraging because I DID get a BFP will DD1 at 8DPO...so I know it's possible. With DD2 I got a BFN at 8DPO and a BFP at 9DPO. No symptoms. I'm still breast feeding DD2 and I have LOTS of milk today, but that's probably a progesterone symptom not necessarily a pregnancy symptom.

Pbn3, fx for you!

mommymachine, I really really think you are 7DPO so just too early. But your chart looks great, and so does True's and Taytum's. I'm excited for you ladies testing now/soon!

Junie, I think you probably just Oed on CD34. :) If so you are 1-2 days behind me. Booo for late/unpredictable O though, soooo frustrating!

There is a very slim possibility I could have conceived this cycle, as due to a not totally reliable temp I may have BDed the evening of O instead of O+1 like I thought/my chart shows. Or maybe I released a 2nd egg 2 days after the first, which happens sometimes. I still think pregnancy is very unlikely and I have NOT been swaying for 10w, taking prenatal/fish oil/vit D & gained 5-10lbs, but diet hasn't been great as I've been very unwell the past month, also extra depressed and I just caught lyme's again 2-3w ago. But I would be okay with a March 4-5th baby. My late beloved DH died officially on March 3rd, in spirit the 28th of Feb or 1st of March, and a close DD would be very special. I won't test though unless AF hasnt come by 16DPO. But I hate to even get my hopes up, grr.
