Healthygirl - I think it will be different as I am in the UK, but I always buy the onestep wide ovulation strips. I have used others in the past and to be honest they all work fine for me, but I just like these as they are easy to see :-)

As true said its not over yet and I only stop temping after confirmed o as my temps don't drop b4 af and for me its one less thing to obsess over lol. But its more stressful for some people not to temp so its whatever feels best to you :)

Hi immi! I'm 4dpo and FF hasn't even given me dotted crosshairs lol. Does your temp normally drop b4 af? Mine stays high until 3 or 4 days into af b4 dropping, so I'll stop tempting till next af once I get crosshairs :)

I have only had one full month of temping before this cycle and it looks like it drops the day before af. Do you mean you will stop temping after your attempt/crosshairs all together? I would go nuts if I couldn't see what was going on... lol. Even though I am obsessing over what the temps are doing at the moment too - can't win.

Junie, I could totally understand that after a while the temping would be a bad chore that you don't want to do - fingers crossed that soon you won't have to do any of that.

Tiffsal, your chart looks pretty good to me (I don't know too much about charts), hoping that it is just too early for you? Have you gotten positives on a hpt early in the past?

Hey girls! I got a very surprising positive OPK yesterday. I have heard atomic mention several times that things do not go as planned the month you ar steady to sway and that was true for me.

Never get positives until day 21 on and I woke up yesterday took a test and went out for a walk. Never even thought to check it until that night before getting into bed. Much to my surprise, it was positive! Day 14!!?? I started running around frantically. All of my sway plans were all messed up but I really didn't want to miss this month. I inserted a fingertip of rephresh, we used sylk, and went with it!lol i have recently lost a lot of weight and have been exercising regularly and taking supplements so hopefully that was enough. (If I didn't drown all the sperm anyway!)lol we changed positions from when we conceived our boys too so maybe that will sway too.

I told myself, I'm such an OCD planner (hence the two boys I have) it was probably good it happened that way. who knows if it will be enough but I'm now on my TWW and I know I'm a little late but would love to join you ladies!

Goodluck BB! Lucky you checked it later in the day! Mine was also earlier this cycle (only going off the last 2 cycles to compare it from as practice) but yes, things seem to change when are ready for you ttc month. Hopefully we can help you pass the time quickly here in the 2ww :)

I forgot to set my alarms (multiple bc I don't always wake to them, only my name and crying babies wake me up without fail) so not too sure about my temp, probably it should be a bit lower, around 98.58. But I'll leave it for now. I'm 11DPO which is my max LP, so either I get AF any moment/tomorrow OR I did O a day later and then AF might not come until Friday.

I try not to read into the temps, but if they go down tomorrow I'm pretty sure I am out. Plus I still have no excess CM and I know in past pregnancies that has always occurred for me in early pregnancy. I like the idea of a spring baby so I am trying to focus on that!

Junie, this am I had so much creamy CM on my thermometer (a big, thick glass one) that I had to wipe it off to read my temp! Trying not to read into it, bc while it is also a pregnancy sign for me, occasionally I get a bunch of watery/fertile CM right before AF. And I've been dehydrated lately so maybe it would be watery if I were hydrated.

I'm so excited and still a bit dazed. I'm nervous about my sway because my diet was iffy at best. Nervous also because of how last BFP ended. Hoping and praying so much for a sticky bean this time and a pink one at that!!

Cramping and some light red blood just now...just waiting for full flow to start so I can call it. But do I consider today or tomorrow CD1? It's 7pm here. I guess if I don't see flow until after 8 I'll call tomorrow CD1. Kinda sucks, I want to get my LH & FSH retesyed on the proper day, I.e. CD3...but that's Saturday. No drs are open here after 12 on Friday. So I guess I should just go then that morning on CD2.

Immi if I had any confidence in my attempt I'd be testing from 8dpo lol :) I was rereading about implantation and seen the norm was from 6-10days (they do site a 3 day either side leeway) so I won't do a test till 10dpo at this stage. You're chart looked so awesome I'd be testing from 8dpo onwards - wouldn't be able to help myself lol

Ash - I'm not sure about symptoms... This morning I feel queasy when I woke up, but that could just be me wanting breakfast...as my tummy feels empty from an early dinner last night. I am tired too, was going to have a little nanna nap yesterday but my youngest had other ideas and didn't go down for his sleep.... I'm not sure how early one can get symptoms? My chart is still looking good (I think) so that's keeping me going at the moment. Not sure if I will test on the weekend - in one way I really want too, but then - I don't... if that makes sense! Lol

I am in a different boat, I am only giving myself a month or 2 to conceive - if it doesn't happen by then, then we will stop - prob why I am always on this site and checking everyone's posts - to pass the time quicker! This sway is a last ditch effort to add that little girl to our family, I had a failed HT cycle in March, and swaying was the one thing left on my list that I couldn't 'cross off' :HH:

Good luck to u all ...this time i got bfn 8dpo and 9 dpo ... then on 10 dpo i decided not to check ...plus i dint have any hpt ...so to fulfil my thirst i used opt at 10dpo couldnt resist and it gave v v v faint line then next day i got faint positive hpt ... now i m regulary checking opk and hpt ...both of them are getiing darker side by side :)

This is not a reliable way but tht what worked for me hehe... its just fun ;)

I felt icky in the stomach again this morning too, but am ok now. If I get out today I will grab some frer's and prob test tomorrow or Monday. If I don't go out today then it will def be Monday before I test. I have been super cranky at little things! Is that a symptom? lol!

hmm just experienced several sharp but not severe twinges of pain lower lh side. But wasn't lower abdomen (where I've read implantation pain is suppose to be) more between pubic and hip bone. Trying not to read into it as I'm sure I've felt similar twinges even when not ttc but was never paying much attention before. I would've said it was o pain possibly but I'm 7dpo... anyone else get twinges in this area?

I say go for it lol! I'm definately going to test Monday at 9dpo after much humming and harring. And remember if its negative doesn't mean much if you implanted late. I'm going to test with frer 9dpo, 11dpo and 13 if necessary lol then will happily movw onto next month :) I'm really excited for you immi!! I got a positive 8dpo with ds2 but ds1 was more when af was due or a couple days or so later so it really is different every time!

Ash I know when you see that BFN you think it's over but 9dpo really is still early. Implantation happens anywhere from 7-10dpo and then a day or two for HCG to build so it's not over yet :fx:

I could use your advice: Yesterday morning I had ewcm and my cp felt high and soft, so I thought I'm about to ovulate and we bd in the afternoon (cd12). My plan was to continue bding every 3 days. However,today,cd13, I had an US. The doc told me that I haven't ovulated yet and my follicles were 16-17mm. Based on that she said I'll probably ovulate within 2-3 days, and that we should bd every other day in order to increase chances of conception. Obviously my fertility is declining (7month ttc) , but I don't want to screw up my pink sway by dtding every other day. What do you think I should do?
The doc also ordered cd3 blood work, and said if everything is ok she'll have me try clomid next cycle. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I know clomid is good for my sway but I am a bit concerned about side effects. Would love to hear your thoughts on this matter as well. Thank you !

Grace, I would continue to bd every 3 days but add in an additional attempt at +opk. I think that's what atomic would say based on how long you've been ttc. GL!! :)

Thanks tiffsal! I've been feeling weird in the tummy and I know its its flutters of excitement and nervousness lol. Doesn't help I had the smallest brown twinge on loo paper after weeing before my brain just yelled 'implantation!' lol but I never had it with either previous pregnancies so could be af planning on arriving 5 days early.
