The EWCM I marked on day 20 was just a tiny bit and it was kind of sticky (sorry TMI). I thought that jump on CD 19 was strange and I usually O before my opks turn negative. But my temps aren't exactly steady by any means... So who knows?! Just wondering if I had an O day attempt or O-2.

That's "fun". My youngest has a brain cyst so I know how things can be when stuff like that happens. We also thought he had a hearing problem because of a complete stall in language development but it turned out to be the cyst. Fingers crossed for good news!

The sedation isn't bad. My youngest had to be sedated and it really better for them that way being so little. They don't understand that it is meant to help and they freak out. With sedation they avoid the trauma of being strapped down in a loud tube all alone.

We (hubby is off today) are home :) She checked my lining and said it looked good. Then she went to my right ovary and my heart sank.... nothing but a bunch of tiny little cysts. Then I remembered that most of my cramps have been on the left side so I kinda held my breath until she moved to the left side. Once the left ovary was in view I just about jumped off the table :rofl: One HUGE follicle and one medium sized one that probably won't ovulate. The big one was 31.55 mm and she said it was ready to pop any day! So I came home and tested and....

Let's see... On the day we went up I had (at home) a yogurt and something else but I can't remember what for "breakfast", then on the road we stopped at McD's and I got a burger I think... but I am not sure. Then once we got up there we stopped at Steak and shake for dinner and I LOVE LOVE LOVE their jalapeno burger and I get to go there so rarely so I got that. Yesterday (sat) I had cereal for and ACTUAL breakfast (had another long drive and wanted to wait as long as possible before stopping for food and cereal was my only option). Then I was STARVING at a gas station and so was my youngest so I got this cheese sausage in a bread roll thing and split it with him. then when I got to the reunion I had lasagna, and about a million calorie cake lol. Then today I had a whopper from Burger King, an iced frappe from a gas station, some pretzels and for dinner- the quickest, easiest and cheapest meal on the PLANET... RAMEN! Lol. To sum it up I had about 6 months worth of red meat and a a week worth of protein, fat and cals in like 3 days. I was awful this weekend but it was SOOOOOOO nice to just eat and not think about it. My norm diet consists on a lot of protein so this low protein thing keeps me from eating a lot of what I am used to (certainly not out to eat all the time, but meat and such).

Isn't it amazing what we used to feel was normal?!?? Even when I have excessive cheat days (I've had McDonald and dq in the same day) im

Last month I had a chemical at had at faint line at 13 dpo.

This is at 11 dpo using FRER.
I'm hoping it's not another chemical. We did IUI this cycle.

I agree with you all - I see a line. I have pretty much the same test today. But I think it's a "line" where the line should be? Like the designated place that it shows up (in my case). I don't see colour. Good luck to you healthy!

I peed on my last stick - I have no more so if by gods great mercy Af hasn't showed up in a couple days I'll go but an FRER. They're not cheap so I don't want to get my hopes up and go get one early.

Momamia - look at my chart, it's similar to yours as far as temps right around O. I had that same dip after the first elevated temp. Based on mine, I think you O'd on CD 18 instead of 16. So definitely not out yet.

I'll try and hold out til tomorrow. Im 9dpo and af usually comes by 10 dpo but each month it gets a little longer or so it seems (thank god, but time will tell)
Im feeling awfully pre-menstrual but I guess the symptoms are all from progesterone so it's hard to know what's up. I'll pick the test up tonight and test in the morning.

I agree with you... I think you Od a day later based on temps though your one little "sticky" CM does give me pause... it is possible that both you AND FF are right and you O'd shortly before the temp taken the day FF has marked as O, but temp wise I agree with your assessment.

Mine turned out to be a chem last cycle but the day I believe was implant day I felt exactly like you are describing. Full-on AF cramps, backache, etc. Keeping my :fingers: for you to get a darker BFP tomorrow.

Well now it looks like CD 20 was O day and I'm nervous I screwed up my sway. How much do you think it matters? Especially since it wasn't when DTD? For you blue swayers that have girls, did you avoid the big O when you conceived your girls?

Well I had several big O's with DS1, none with DS2 (too depressed about my miscarriage and it taking a bit to get pregnant), and none with DS3 that I'm currently pregnant with.

I would say it's no magic bullet and you will be fine. It's one of those things that is hard to tease out the effect of considering all that everyone does to sway.

Last cycle I avoided climax completely until after O. I had planned to avoid all cycle but couldn't take it anymore so I just "let go" while DTD and let myself get there and I didn't regret it either lol. This cycle I climaxed the last time we DTD (5 days ago) but avoided this time. Personally I think it is an easy way to sway, but I am not gonna drive myself off the deep end, going crazy like I did last cycle. If I had climaxed this time I would wouldn't have stressed about it, I just didn't and I didn't force the matter. I wasn't "in the mood" to begin with lol so I just enjoyed it for what it was and when it was over I just let it go. I climaxed the night we conceived our angel DD so I don't think it has any strong sway elements to it... it is just an easy thing to add in if you can tolerate it. I think stressing over the fact that you did will sway much stronger than the climax itself! :fx: for you!

I cannot enjoy sex on Clomid. Im too swollen and uncomfortable that I want it over with. That being said with ds 4 I avoided o bc I read back then it swayed BUT atomic has theories on here that more or less debunk it (and she herself had the big o with dd). I did a poll awhile back too and most people were having the big o and still getting dd

I think I just might be crazy lol. I am fighting the urge to BD again! I don't think this one attempt thing will ever feel normal to me. I want soooo badly to get preg this cycle.. boy or girl (though obviously I'd be on cloud 9 with a girl!!) for so many reasons.

1: DH's b-day is right around the time I'd deliver. Our angel DD quit growing on DH's B-day this year of all days and I think it bugs him so I think it'd be nice for him to get a baby right around then to take the sting out of a loss on his b-day.
2: As I have said, prob 100 times, I'd like to avoid being preg in May if I can as both my DD and DS loss were confirmed on May 1st 6 years apart so May makes me nervous. This is the last cycle were I know I can avoid being preg in May all together. If I O tomorrow I'd be due May 3rd but because I have to have a scheduled c-section it'll be about a week before then. (might even be able to schedule ON DH's b-day if that is what he wants!)
3: I am freaking impatient lol. I have spent WAY too much of my life TTC. I was over TTC before I even started. I am ready to have a new baby in my arms already!!

So hard not to BD again...

I was first doing e4d and missed it at 0-3, and 0+1 (ish) and then I missed it doing one attempt also do its so hard to know when that second attempt would be anyways.

Sway wise I have a lot of things in my favor. Clomid, zantac (which lower nutrient absorption), a "natural" (meaning I don't make it happen, it just does due to some tummy issues)tendency towards malabsorption of nutrients, etc. I won't claim the diet at this point though lol because I haven't been a good little dieter lol. Plus my angel DD was a no-sway baby... no real sway anyway. I was doing some things that sway but they weren't intentional... just worked out that way. For example, we BD'd 5 days before O then again at midnight the night between O-day and O+1 so we had one attempt... but it wasn't intentional... it just happened that way.

I don't really know whether to give in to increase my odds of a BFP or stand strong and fight the urge to increase my odds of a PINK BFP (assuming I get a BFP at all this cycle...).

Honestly? I am thinking more like every 2 HOURS :rofl: that is an exaggeration, obviously, but knowing I could O tomorrow or as much as 2-3 days from now, I am kinda wanting to DTD again tonight or tomorrow evening. It's crazy, I know, but with all things considered it is hard to weigh which I want more... a halfway decent sway or to throw caution to the wind and just do everything I can to get that BFP.

I've had 3 full attempts, and the sway period leading up to my first ttc was a 58 day cycle so my swaying plans were in effect for awhile.
I guess I was hardcore swaying 8 wks before attempt 1. I started skipping meals and practicing eating at the right times in JAN, by March/April I was doing the diet properly, avoiding all te boy foods (of most often anyways). So 5 months of true swaying Id say.

You may have already O'd and not know it then (since you don't temp). I'll attach my chart that had the +, -, + on it. I actually O'd on the day in between the +'s. Back then I tested until O was confirmed because I hadn't been charting long enough to be 100% I O'd before 3 elevated temps. I had been charting for a few years but that amounted to only a handful of cycles and even fewer ovulatory cycles. I'll never understand HOW it happened, but it did!

So do I, and I don't temp at the same time every day, and sometimes get less than 4hrs total let alone in a row, but the shift after o is usually big enough to show it. I can't say 100% since you don't chart, but everything I said yesterday remains the same and if you O today or tomorrow you still have good odds timing wise.... maybe even better than if you O'd yesterday because the sperm would have even more time to get into position to wait for the egg and recharge to prepare for the final sprint toward the egg! Given the usual 24-48 hours from first +OPK in which ppl tend to O, if you haven't already O'd I would say O is just around the corner... maybe even within the next few hours.

Another possibility is that you geared up to O, your body backed off and is trying again today. However, I think it is far more likely that it is the same surge and the +,-,+ was a fluke, as generally it tends to take the body longer than a few hours to gear back up again... in my experience at least, but everyone is different.

First, I agree with hitme on the temp thing. My temps are about as far from what you are supposed to do as you can get. Sometimes I temp after only 2 hours of sleep, sometimes I temp an hour or two late or early. I have sleep issues so I take my temps when I can. It can make temps a little more jagged but the big picture always tells the story just fine. So, if you WANT to try it out then don't be scared off by inconsistent sleep.

Second, I think I have decided the same...'ish. I don't want to be stressed out right now or anytime this cycle. The whole point this cycle was to be low stress. So I told hubby we are sticking to 1 attempt UNLESS I don't see a temp shift by Thursday morning. If no shift by then we'll throw in another attempt to avoid O-3, O+1 timing. Thursday would make for an E3D pattern but it is too important to try to get preg this cycle to leave it to chance. O-3 & O+1 can totally end in a BFP and any other cycle I would not be pleased with it, but I'd prob ride it out. This cycle I'd be FAR more upset getting the O-3 & O+1 timing than I would be potentially diminishing our girly odds by adding an extra attempt.

Looks like we might be testing buddies though!! Forgive me if you have already answered this but when do you plan to start testing?

So, we're in agreement that I should stick to my attempt timing? If in two days it's still positive I guess I could throw in one more attempt? - I wish there was more clear lines when ttc.
Temping- I will try it next month... But it Prob wouldn't really help me for atleast a few months I'm guessing.

I think the plan you mentioned is perfect. Since you said you really don't want to add a second attempt I'd do E4D from here out until you are 100% that you have O'd. So if you BD'd last night Thursday would be your next attempt day.

As far as charting, there IS a learning curve BUT with the help of others to explain things you are confused about or whatever charting will help first cycle. I recommend taking the 10 min charting course on fertilityfriend.com (it's free) to give yourself a jump start on the how-to's of charting.

So had a lovely temp spike overnight finally lol but used ny last opk strip and its exactly the same as the last three mornings?? How can this be? Can anyone shed some light on what could be going on? I started using cb dual digital as I couldn't get a positive opk using strips, then this cycle everything went haywire so had to go back to using them and I get what looks to me to be 4 positives in a row!!! I had a cycle way back when (I've posted it before... it was my clomid chart from years ago) where I had 4 days of +OPKs. It isn't common but it does happen. :fx: you caught the eggie!!!!

It is weird... I keep waiting for this dramatic cramping since seeing that HUGE follicle this morning but it couldn't be more opposite! Fri, Sat and Sun I was cramping pretty bad. Sorry for the TMI but Sat while playing softball it got so bad that if felt like everything was gonna fall out of my hoo-ha. Then today I see that massive follicle, and I get a surge and I've had a couple minor sharp cramps but mostly it has been calm waters. My right side has bothered me more than my left today! It's like my left side decided to take a vaca today. I wonder if those couple sharp cramps were when I O'd and now the pain is gone because the deed is done?!? BUT my CP doesn't match that theory as it wasn't until this evening that my cervix became soft and it isn't completely open yet :think: Also, my CM up until this evening was the creamy/EW mix I call my pre-fertile CM (what usually happens before my CM goes to straight EW) and just this evening it is finally mostly EW with a few specks of creamy spots. I wonder why my ovary is so calm considering it's about to pop... I usually have a lot of cramping when I O. Guess time will tell though :)

I am so bored! I think too much when I am bored lol.

Isn't it lovely the way our bodies like to act like "You think you have it figured out, huh? Well what do ya think about THIS!" :rofl: No complaints over here.. I think I might quite possibly O sooner that I have in YEARS and even if not it beats my recent track record by a long shot! I'll be nearing the end of my 2WW when I would normally have just been getting ready to O!!! Just weird how things can kinda go random every so often when you are so used to things working the same way. My body has an excuse for being weird (though the total lack of cramps doesn't quite fit the excuse, lol) because I am using meds to alter my cycle. But I have had cycles like yours... completely unmedicated and my everything went wonky... so strange lol.

The day I believe I implanted last cycle with the chem preg (right before all my symptoms started) I felt exactly like AF was coming... so much so that if my temps hadn't been so high (i.e. not crashing) I would have been positive I was going to have a LPD last cycle. :fingers: that it's a good sign!!

Nope it will tell you when you o. Having several cycles to look back on is great, helps you know things like how long your luteal phase is, but even temping one cycle has a wealth in info in it!

It is better if you access the form from an actual computer. There are huge formatting issues I encountered when trying to do it from my phone, even when switching over to webview (where things look like the actual site not formatted the tapatalk way).

I am going to the doctors office today to confirm the pregnancy. My line is still pretty light so I am getting worried. I believe I am 14dpo even though FF says 12dpo. Depending on the results of the pregnancy test at the doctors office they said they would do blood work .

I got another evap line. I didn't think they happened this often?? I did finally get a temp rise this morning and my cramps seem to have died down. Maybe it really was implantation and I'll get a positive tomorrow?

AFM, I caved and temped this AM but I had a shotty nights sleep (weird dreams) and I temped 30 mins early, but still got 98.37, so I assume had I temped at my regular time it would have been over 97.4. If I temp tomorrow and it's still high I'll test FRER. :) Some cramps today, so we'll see. Also still waiting on progesterone results from yesterday!

Yours are lines, not evaps! :) evaps have no color. They are greyish or shiney lines where a pink or blue line should be and usually show up after the time limit as the test dries.

If it is every month you may be having weak surges. They eventually get the job done but it takes awhile. I think you will benefit A LOT from charting. I helps take some of the guesswork out of it.

You can if you want to get into the habit of it! Get a feel for everything. You may or may not temp during AF... that is up to you and whether you temp orally or vaginally. But I think getting a running start will help you next cycle. It's a major long shot, seeing as how charting is about the big picture, but there is a marginal chance we might even be able to see if you have O'd if your temps are high enough!

Since July was a BFN for me I am moving to August, I was on vacation last week so it was nice taking a break from everything. Dropping the wheatgrass this month and haven't had any grapefruit juice or lemon water, might try to add the fruit juices back in this week. Still taking all my vitamins and plan on using Preseed with many attempts. August is month 4 TTC, so fingers crossed this is the month. Currently CD9 and will start testing with OPK's tonight.

Yup. Sperm made it to your tubes days ago and is hanging out in the tubes waiting for the egg, recharging, etc. That is assuming sperm made it that far.. Sperm have a lot of hurdles to jump bfore they get there. Have you seen the great sperm race vids on youtube? I recommend watching it if not. Very interesting!

Lauren -have you tried using the cb ovulation tests, they are expensive but definitely worth it. I had some trouble with similar ov tests that you are using and had what looked like 9 days of positives the first cycle I was ttc

Hugs, hitme! I'm sure it's just too early. Like daisy said, the digitals aren't as sensitive. I think I'm going to wait until Thursday morning to test again. Even though I have more than enough tests, all of these negatives are really getting to me. Plus, if I'm not pg, I should start my period on Thursday, assuming I o'd on cd16, if I o'd on cd18 then I'd start on Saturday. Either way, I'll know more by Thursday.

Hitme- the digitalis are not as sensitive as the other one you used (with the exception of FRERS). You're not out yet! Remember I couldn't get a positive on anything until I was 21DPO with DS2. Sometimes it can take awhile for HCG levels to get high enough for some tests.

Hi ladies, dh and I just started on the ttc journey again and are hoping for a boy. With my second we experienced unexplained secondary infertility and took over a year to conceive. This was confusing and difficult as I hard been pregnant within three months, two times before (one miscarriage). I'm really hoping the last one was a fluke and we will conceive much quicker. Dh only wants to try for a limited time due to the stress last time. I'm in the 2ww and could use any fertile thoughts your could throw my way to get me to relax and (try) not to stress.

We were able to dtd 2 days before O, 1 day before O, and twice on O do so hopefully that helps. I O'd late so things were off.

Lol, yeah. If that wasn't O then it was some kind of twisted torture my body decided to inflict for no apparent reason. I lasted 2 hours and was awful I am still tender and the worst of it was over and done over an hour ago)! So awful that it makes me wonder if the smaller follicle that looked to be 10-15m (compared to the other which was 31.55 mm... they didn't measure the smaller one so I can't be sure) that they said prob wouldn't O actually did O and I ended up Oing 2 eggs. I honestly can't remember a time EVER that O hurt so bad... I have PCOS and have had cysts rupture and that didn't hurt as bad as today!! Guess I'll know for sure tomorrow...

Hi ladies, dh and I just started on the ttc journey again and are hoping for a boy. With my second we experienced unexplained secondary infertility and took over a year to conceive. This was confusing and difficult as I hard been pregnant within three months, two times before (one miscarriage). I'm really hoping the last one was a fluke and we will conceive much quicker. Dh only wants to try for a limited time due to the stress last time. I'm in the 2ww and could use any fertile thoughts your could throw my way to get me to relax and (try) not to stress.

We were able to dtd 2 days before O, 1 day before O, and twice on O do so hopefully that helps. I O'd late so things were off.

Sorry to gate crash but from what I have read on here, although its frustrating, when your cycles suddenly change from what they normally are its all good for your sway :-)

I know I asked about this last cycle at the time just looking for more input. A basal therm might be a good idea! Your flat line temps have to be at least partially due to to a .0 therm.

I absolutely agree with this. Definitely go out and buy a basal therm! You will not get too many flatline temps, although I did one cycle. I thought my battery was going out. I ended up switching to vaginal temping the following cycle and that seemed to take care of things.

My temps sometimes get really evened out around O time, not always but occasionally. For example, yesterday's temps was 97.77 and today's was 97.78 (didn't temp over weekend so that it all I have as an example this cycle). I think it has to do with the hormone dance that goes on surrounding O time... but that is just a guess. :shrug:

That sucks - fingers crossed it's your last go. I had it pretty bad too, and for quite a while leading up to o too, but I knew it was the Clomid in my case; I've never had o pain prior to this sway.

Thanks. Phew... I sure hope this will me it for me. All previously mentioned reasons aside, that was brutal! I think it didn't help that I had to active during because I had to pick up the boys and take them to the doctor.

Hopefully we'll ALL get our BFPs this cycle and the Sept 2WW thread will have to start with a brand new crew! :fingers::luck:

I seriously want to cry.... My positive OPK this morning was so so dark... We decided to have our attempt tonight after our son was asleep. We were about to have the attempt and I tested again and it's stark white now..: how in the world was my window so small. I guess we will still have an attempt but I feel defeated already. Is there even a possibility to be successful now?

My opks always turn negative BEFORE I ovulate. I usually get two days of +opks then a -opk on O day. I think your chances are still excellent. Most people don't O till 8-48 hours after the first +opk, but that is just an average. I don't O till 72 hours after my first +opk. Do you temp? As long as you don't have a temp rise yet you are fine. Good luck!

Well bc I had the negative digital i told him the whole story and asked him to stop and get dollarama tests. So it wasn't as I planned but the Turkey was amazing but I was still doubtful, and in the back of my head kept thinking "am I screwing my sway?" Lol

We are now pigging out on ice cream lol

Here's my chart, Pbn3. :) FYI, when I changed the weird early Peak days on cds 13 & 14 to High days, FF adjusted my O day to cd18. I am more confident that I O'd on cd18 than cd16. I'm glad I played around with it.

Hitme, I looked it up and the lowest level a Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test can detect is 50 mIU/ml. A FRER is 25mIU/ml. Apparently the Walmart brand and the $ store brand is also 50 mIU/ml. So since you got the faint + on the $ store one tonight, I bet your digi would be + tomorrow.

FYI, I don't know who I'm kidding. I'm definitely testing tomorrow morning, lol! I was so down this morning though, with the evap. :( Tomorrow is DH's brother's bday. Maybe that will distract me if I get another negative. My RE's office said they do the blood hcg test at 17dpo. Since they use my 1st Peak day as my O day, that means I'm 2 days ahead to them. FX af stays away and I can go in on Sunday morning to get a blood test!! Thank god their office is open on the weekends so I don't have to wait until Monday. :D I'm so impatient!

Didn't end up buying a .00 thermometer today as I think for consistency sake I should stick with what I've got. Will definately change for next cycle though - we've decided to give it one more shot if this ones another bust. This is my 3rd day eating whatever I want and I've gone all out meat wise lol but back to diet tomorrow just in case. For some reason I'm not at all confident this month?? I know I have a great shot but I thought that last month to so maybe the disappointment of bfns has clouded my thinking lol. It's good in a way as I'm expecting a bfn moreso than bfp so I'll be triple excited if I get bfp and just resigned more than sad if I get bfn.... Anyway who's next for testing!!!! Taytum!! It must be time for you by now?? fx and sending an abundance of baby dust your way!!

Phew catched up on so much. My youngest DS went well with his scan and was cranky just like his daddy after the anesthetic and just wanted his bottle. Should have the results in a few weeks.

Still battling this damned chest infection. Will certainly be busy over the next few weeks doing some extra shifts at work. Lets hope feeling like complete crap sways girl 😂

Tested and had a negative opk today which i expected but just wanted to check. I think my body is just gearing up to O day and tmro is the start of the fertile phase 😀

Not exactly the shift I was hoping for. Does anyone know if ultram affects O in any way? I had to take it yesterday because the cramps started up agaib and I couldn't take it anymore. I had to do something to take the edge off...

I have no clue. I assumed it was because it is focused in my lower abdomin on the left side (the side with the giant follicle). Still cramping some this morning (like a 2 on a 1-5 scale), so I honestly don't know what its deal is.

I will if I don't get a shift by tomorrow morning. I am hoping this is going to be one of those drop before the rise cycles. If I called today I already know what they'd say. They would say I could be Oing but if it hurts that bad to go to the ER. They are not very proactive TTC wise generally.

AFM - highest temp I've had since temping today, and a nice jump! I POAS this morning FRER, but I think BFN. I feel like I saw a vvv faint line, but it was probably because my eyes know exactly where that damn line should be. �� may try again tonight with a Wondfo, or wait and see what temp does tomorrow. And still waiting on that dang progesterone test.
