I’m home from camping and now 10 DPO. Wasn’t able to temp since Friday. Still bloated, slight cramping, creamy cm and very sore bbs. I took a test and I may see an extremely faint line. Maybe an evap? Maybe too faint for 10 dpo? With boys it was pretty distinct at this point. Please tell me what you think? 39918

FF puts me at 4DPO. I have 2 frer tests and lots of wondfo cheapies. When do you all think is the best day to start using them? If frer I don't want squinters- I want to wait until a pretty clear accurate reading.

I am equally tempted to just wait for AF so I don't get my hopes up as much if it isn't a sticky bean.

Noemi- I don't usually have symptoms until 6 wks or later. Every pregnancy is different, try not to worry!

Ladies we made our attempt so now the dreaded 2ww! I was happy to see a dip in my temps this am from 97.32 to 97.07 so hoping it shoots back up Tuesday (I work overnight on Sundays so I don't temp mondays). I have my middles bday party to plan for next Saturday then my dh and I are heading off for a short 3 day late-anniversary getaway! I should be able to test Friday the 27th at 12 dpo. That's when I got a pos last time. At least I hope I can last that long! I love POAS! Hahaha

Shinay please try not to poke around your cervix when pregnant as it can be risky for causing an infection. Your cervix will be firm during pregnancy. It will probably rise as the pregnancy progresses and soften/lower when you get close to labour. You tests look beautiful!! Cant wait to see your last frer [emoji3] Not long until your af is officially late!!!

Such exciting news. Bfp are awesome. Even LH excites me. I can't seem to get any O signs, Opks are completely white other than control. Had really concentrated p last week and saw faint line, but temps are all over the place. So alls quiet here at least.... it's ok cuz the end of the month I'm going on my first vacay ever and I don't want to be dealing with AF. So late O is late AF. Fx.

My libido is so far gone, I hope I didn't change so much that O is going to be delayed too long.

Keep sharing all the pretty lines. RAINING I definitely see it eeek. I hope all these lines strengthen and heartbeats start coming in.

Gafan if you want to avoid possible squinters I would wait another week. You'll be either 11 or 12dpo so should have a clear line usually by then. I think it's possible you are 5dpo and caught your temp on its way up but either day could be o day [emoji4]

It’s our first month. Kind of makes me nervous because ttc pink you’re supposed to be lowering fertility.

Agree! Stick with one attempt for a couple cycles and always have your attempt at *first* pos opk [emoji4] Then move onto bd e4d, either 96 or 72 hour version, maybe one or two of the 96 version, then a couple of the 72 hr version, then if you still haven't concieved try e4d plus extra attempt at pos opk.

Do you think that was a mistake for my sway? As it is the contrary of J&D.
DH had release for 4-5 consecutive days before attempt.
So sperm count was quite neutral.. not too high or too low.

My DH just called to say that all of next week he has to be out of town on work. His boss ' boss' s boss (a C level executive) is flying in from the UK and he has to make a presentation to him.

I ovulate on CD 20 and DH will be away from CD 17 afternoon to CD 21 midnight! Effectively my baby making window is ruined! I never ovulate early. Usually CD 19 or 20. Obviously, it's work and we can't do anything, but now I have to wait until Aug end to TTC. I'm frustrated. I was going to do one attempt this cycle! I just want a baby so badly :(

In June, I had a horribly long abnormal 50 day cycle, and was finally hoping to catch a break in July! Now my DH will be out of town. I've been putting off ttc from Oct last year due to one reason or the other, and now I'm more than ready, but the odds are against me :-(

I know how it feels when you have postponed ttc for such a long time and when you finally get to ttc, something like this happens. I am so sorry to hear dear (big hugs). But you will never know, maybe O will come a day or 2 late miraculously this time and it will fit in your husband's work schedule. Or like Noemi suggested, would it be at all possible for you go to where he would be the night of O and dtd?

I called in to doctor office this morning and they put me in for an appointment next Friday with RN. So it will be very likely just urine and blood tests and physical exam kinda stuffs. Doubt they will do any ultrasound since it is still so early. Hope I am wrong and they will let me see our little bub.

He's going from NYC to Phoenix so it's from one coast to another, which translates to a 6 hour flight, 3 hour time difference, a 3 year old to carry along, and probably a $1000 ticket on short notice :-)

Sometimes things happen beyond our control and stress doesn't do anything but damage! :)
I usually get my first pos opk on CD 18 and turns back to neg by CD 20 eve. FF showed me that I ovulated on CD 20 for majority of my cycles this year,except the wonky one in June!

I haven't done any since mid may *sigh *I can exercise 3x a week, but more than that leaves me tired and I don't look forward to it anymore. Btw I also off exercise since my June 2 WW. I just pulled myself back on the wagon few days ago! With a toddler, 5 times a week of hour long exercise is draining! I'm doing LE pcos I guess (I avoid white carbs as much as I can, just for overall health benefits) and I eat brown rice or quinoa as my main grain. My breakfasts are delayed and I do smoothies with almond milk&fruits. For lunch I do veggies and quinoa or bread. Dinners are soup, lentils, salad or whatever I make for the family. I cheat most days and have a snack because I'm the hungriest between 5 and 7.30, and dinner isn't ready until 8.
I don't like alcohol, so I force myself to do wine 2-3 times a week. I don't think my diet is very traditional, but I tailored it to fit my overall health and food principles.
I've been vegetarian all my life, so that part was easy :)
What's your diet like?

I agree that it's too draining. I could do 30 mins at a time...the hour is just too long for me. So since mid may I've been debating on whether that would sway blue or benefit the pcos more.

I'm also doing le pcos. I have a coffee (no sugar) first thing in the morning, fruit smoothie with whole milk yogurt and almond butter for bfast, lunch is usually whole grain rice, some sort of veg and small portion of chicken and I just added salmon about twice a week. Then for dinner, I usually have another cup of coffee with 1/3 cup whole milk, grilled cheese on spelt bread and just added an egg. The salmon and egg I added to try to boost my fertility as atomic suggested, so fingers crossed it helps. If I get snackish, I try to have another cup of coffee (like a weak cup) or just some tea to cut my peckishness. Since adding the salmon and increasing my fats and protein a bit, I've been way more satisfied but I have put back on a couple pounds (which I needed tbh) which is why I feel like just giving up the sway and focus on just getting pregnant.

I know you are quite regular in your cycle but there's is always that one cycle here and there that differs. If you o cd19 that would be fantastic timing! And even oing on cd20 will still be some chance. It's always those cycles we think we are beat that tend to throw us a lifeline. Think positive [emoji173]

Mom25boys hope you start seeing a line come in soon. Having long/irregular cycles could give you a good chance to get your hands on some clomid. Do you have an ob you can make an appt with to ask for help with regulating your cycle (don't mention clomid or femara, let them bring it up) as you've been ttc for nearly a year and your cycles are all over the place? Jgojah doing the 30-45 minute exercise several times a week used to be good for pink swayers with pcos [emoji4] Not sure if it's still current or not though so maybe run it past atomic?

As hard as it is, get yourself to the gym or park, and get your 30 min workout done, if that's all you can do. Most days I struggle to hit 30 mins, but once I hit 30, I find the motivation to get to 40 min, and from there I start to cool down and end at 50 mins. Take each day as it comes jgojah. It's the exact same with me!

HDP I'm sorry and big hugs [emoji173] Honestly your attempt on cd17 may still be really good timing! I know you are quite regular in your cycle but there's is always that one cycle here and there that differs. If you o cd19 that would be fantastic timing! And even oing on cd20 will still be some chance. It's always those cycles we think we are beat that tend to throw us a lifeline. Think positive [emoji173]

So I‘m looking to blame something that I didn’t get a BFP at the first try, although I know that it would have been only chance.

Sometimes things happen beyond our control and stress doesn't do anything but damage! :)
I usually get my first pos opk on CD 18 and turns back to neg by CD 20 eve. FF showed me that I ovulated on CD 20 for majority of my cycles this year,except the wonky one in June!

Having an attempt just one day prior to positive opk still sounds like quite good timing! I hope it works for you. I’m also on month two of trying which I know is nothing compared to many but I’m also really impatient haha.

This month my opk drives me crazy. Was positive (10ml/U and the 20ml/U too) on CD 15, negative yesterday on CD 16 but today on CD 17 in the morning it was positive again. Ugh. Had our attempt on CD 15. Let’s see what the day brings, but when it stays positive I think we will dtd again today...which will lead to two attempts. Yeah :-/

These cycles on the diet are the worst!!

But golly gosh it's cold there this morning, I guess that wouldn't be helping with the temps. Do you think it's a bad idea to use an electric blanket even on a low setting? I've been avoiding it because I thought it would interfere.

Thunderstruck if you're using an electric blanket consistently then it'll be fine. I would not go without for the sake of not messing up a couple temps. You may see a jump after the first night using it but if you continue using it then you'll still notice any dips or spikes [emoji4] Are you getting one more attempt in today? How certain are you that you oed? I wouldn't say it certain going by temps but you know your body better than anyone else, was there other signs? I see you've marked in cervix high and soft and ewcm day after the crosshairs have you oing on, so from an outsiders chart analysis point of view I couldn't say yes agree as yet. But again I'm looking in from the outside and we all know our bodies best [emoji3]

Ewcm was present but I'm not really that good at telling the difference between ew and left over semen.

I generally attempt to pinpoint ovulation by the pain on my right side. It previously was at its strongest the day of ovulation and I've been successful in achieving and avoiding pregnancy only using this.

Last month at least I had faint lines and one darker-ish finally on day of O. Still was not perfect but dark enough. Now I'm only getting one line like there is no LH. I'm hoping tomorrow I see something at least to show coming... CD 20 tomorrow. About when I O last month. Or 21.

Strawberrybella most people o anywhere from 12-48 hours after first pos opk, some up to 72 hours later (although that isn't as common). Don't pay any attention to your opks darkness/lightness after that first pos as they don't tell you if you've oed, only that your peak lh surge has been reached. The egg can release anytime in the forementioned time frame after this. (In some cases your body may gear up, hit peak lh then not release an egg, although again it's not overly common and temping helps confirm) Your opk say tomorrow could be negative and you still may not have oed or it could still be positive and you may have already oed. That is why you should always go off your first positive [emoji4] Hope your donor gets there soon for you so it can be done with and you relax [emoji173] Good luck!!!!

Please someone help me [emoji24][emoji24] . Ok. I bought the clearblue opks. They are expensive so I didnt want to use unless I know for sure I'm close. I'm using the cheaper ones but I'm not getting +. But I cant figure out how to use them. Yes, I read instructions. But I'm not very good with this stuff. They are not the peak fertile kind. Regular smiley. First one I dipped and put in and it did nothing. I realized it needed to be clicked in the case first. Second I clicked in and when I saw the pic appear, I dipped it in for 15 seconds and laid it on the counter. It blinked and then gave an error. [emoji24] I already threw out the perfectly concentrated pee. How do I use it. For later anyhow. It says not to look at the lines but at least there were two lines on this one.

I use clinical guard from amazon. If I am not close to ovulation I barely get a second line. So for example, most months CD13 AM, I may get a faint, barely there second line then it would start getting darker during the day then positive by evening time. I USUALLY see a progression once I test multiple times a day but not always.

But I am a firm believer that all test sticks aren't the same quality. Back in January I tried meditesti and I would get what is considered an almost positive (test line would be dark but definitely not as dark as the control) but on clinical guard and the digital I would get blazing positives (test darker than control) with the same urine sample.

StrawberryBella - I'm so sorry things didn't work out this cycle! Sending positive vibes for August to work out perfectly!

Mom25Boys - I don't like those One Step opks. I never got blazing + on those. I started using the CB ones (the fertile days one) and it was way less stressful. I have always done OPKs when TTC but find it still stresses me even when it's the CB ones so I've made the decision to not do them this time! It's been more relaxed so far. Annoying not knowing if or when I've Oed but less stressful all over.

I'm 10dpo today (give or take!) But not testing (sorry girls, I know we love a squinter!) I don't think this is our month as I now think that the day I actually Oed was the day DH was ill putting our attempt at the day after O or O-4. I'm having a huge amount of symptoms I don't usually have before AF but I'm chalking it up to it being my first Clomid cycle. Sensitive boobs, super emotional, breakout of pimples all over my chest, back and chin (beautiful!) The only thing giving me any hope whatsoever is the fact my cervix had returned to low, firm and closed til yesterday when it was higher and super soft. It's not time to check yet today but having AF cramping (my LP is 13 days) is having me think I'm just grasping at straws lol.

I'm on CD 14. Nothing new to report. A bit of sore boobs. But, I'm not too hopeful this month and have no real drive to track my cycle, given that DH is away for nearly 5 days of my fertile window.

Hmm, I'm doubting my strength haha. Considering getting a FRER tomorrow!! I'm striving to hold off til at least Saturday tho which puts me at 12dpo. I'd love to be strong enough to hold off til AF is due. Hate seeing BFNs but can't help testing all the same!!

It is on the later side to o but not super uncommon either.... all you can do is keep testing OR switch over to e4d. I've seen this happen so many times when that time comes to ttc a regular cycle will suddenly go off the rails and it's so disheartening [emoji17] Can you try some meditation if you're into that or something else to relax mind and soul? I'm so sorry this is happening and all I can say is hang in there [emoji173]

June was my first cycle ttc and I ovulated on CD 33. Can you imagine how late that is? I ended up having a 45 day cycle and was so frustrated at days of stark negative opks. A few days late or early O can be because of the diet.
I know it's hard to look at the negatives, but you will get a positive and your turn to BD soon. Hugs to you! These off cycles are random and can happen to anyone, especially when you least want it. FX

Getting my usual back ache I get before AF, CM has dried up a good bit (I keep trying to tell myself that that is the Clomid messing with the "norm") So I'm not even sure I'll test tomorrow now at 12dpo. we had an attempt yesterday morning (cd14) and like veerrry early on CD 13. I'm temping these days to confirm O and my temp didn't really drop so much so I took another opk and it is still very positive. Should we attempt again?

Top one is yesterday after a 2 hour hold (but I drank nothing in the hour before and the two hours during the hold so as to not dilute the sample) bottom today after an overnight hold (say around 7 hours) I'm not seeing any progression so hoping AF doesn't show. I had DS3 after I swayed pink for 8-9 months in 2015. I swayed pink super hard last year once again (I mean I felt SO good about that sway OMG I can't tell you!) and had a mc so I just couldn't face going "gung ho" again so I just picked a few things I knew I could control without being my usual anxious self.

I didn't snack for like 7 months, skipped breakfast every day for about a year, 3x coffee daily, folate, alcohol maybe 3-4 times weekly. I took Clomid 50mg CD3-7 and took antihistamine a bit before each attempt. We're in the midst of a heatwave so DH is a lot hotter than usual "down there" otherwise I would have asked him to take hot baths (per Atomics advice) We did e4d as I have always always always done opks and the STRESS I put myself under just went against all the other hard work. We did immediate j&d which I've never ever done before. I'm delighted either way to be honest. I've hit that stage where gender doesn't seem as important as it once was for me. We just want one last (hopefully perfect!) little baby!

Gafan, hang in there and try to have fun. I'm seeing a huge trend of BFP after feeling nothing but AF symptoms.

I'm NOT trying this month, because I wasn't on the diet long enough. Otherwise I totally would. So protection it is. I just wanted to make sure things were still working and to know what it looks like next month.

Eeeek. I'm so excited. I thought I would never ovulate. But i got the smiley, so today would be the day i would do my attempt, come next cycle. Cycle day 23. Better late then never.

So I got my new basal thermometer yesterday and put it to test today. And.... it's very much higher than my other one. Like .5-.7. I'm afraid I am going to lose all my essential data and temp curves...etc. advice? I am thinking about going to a special battery store to see if they have a new battery to see if that will work in my old one. Oh well. This month feels like a wash anyways. For me, it holds true because i get stark negatives until true O. So as soon as i get two lines, even if it is lighter than the control, i will do my 1 attempt. But you got two so I dunno 🤷*♀️. Lots of smart ladies on here, someone should be able to help. Good luck.

That at least gives you some chance. Your previous attempt on Friday gives you little to no chance if you o after Tuesday and those opks are still quite negative. They can change very quickly of course but I would still guess you're at least 2 days minimum away from the *possibility* of a pos. An attempt Monday morning will give you some chance if you o later in the week (Thursday) while he's away and be great timing if you o Tuesday, Wednesday. Good luck!

I would usually always recommend to go by your first pos as the true one but your digi and dip tests aren't marrying up [emoji848] You're not temping are you? So cd14 looks the only possible day temp wise you could have oed making you 10dpo and a faint line on a cheapie certainly possible however looking at your last cycles chart and when you oed after a pos opk as well it more than likely is not a true bfp. When you say the ER tested (btw I hope whatever was the cause of your visit there is nothing serious) you mean blood test right? I'd trust that over any hpt so if the blood test was negative it's definately a false pos. As I mentioned before opks WILL pick up hcg but not until after a hpt would anyway. So again, they (ER) did a blood test and it was negative right?

Thunder I noticed your 'on the low side' temps and that dip below coverline but haven't had a chance to check since it. Was wanting to say then if it didn't come back up and climb then its possible you haven't oed. Sorry I know this won't be what you want to hear and wish I had of said something that day but again felt it was better to wait and see what happened after the dip. Another cause of low post o temps *may* be low progesterone so you may need to get it checked. You're 8dpo so could still get it tested today, tomorrow or the next (they like to test between 7-10dpo when progesterone peaks following o) OR it could be nothing at all, without another cycles data to compare to it's impossible to say so please do not panic and think something must be wrong!! I would just keep trying to bd every few days like you have been until something changes temp wise or af arrives or best yet you get a bfp! I just don't think it'd hurt to get a blood test to give you a better idea that's all [emoji4]

no testing here yet. temp is still up but I started having a low fever yesterday late morning, with cold symptoms. took a dose of 200mg ibuprophen (motrin) with lots of food because I had to drive my family 4 hrs home. i like never take meds and wasn't thinking about pregnancy risks when i took it. now I am kind of hoping I am not pregnant because of miscarriage risks of ibuprofen. did any of you accidentally take ibuprofen in 2ww and have a healthy baby? that has to happen a lot- more often than not, i would guess, but after a miscarriage I am more anxious.

See how we go this cycle. I have a bit on with a daughters birthday so getting to the dr to be referred for a blood test in the next day or two will be tricky.

I have googled low temps and have found it mostly because of low progesterone so no surprises when you mentioned it. Don't apologise, I'm rarely on here so that's ok.

So cd14 looks the only possible day temp wise you could have oed making you 10dpo and a faint line on a cheapie certainly possible however looking at your last cycles chart and when you oed after a pos opk as well it more than likely is not a true bfp. When you say the ER tested (btw I hope whatever was the cause of your visit there is nothing serious) you mean blood test right? I'd trust that over any hpt so if the blood test was negative it's definately a false pos. As I mentioned before opks WILL pick up hcg but not until after a hpt would anyway. So again, they (ER) did a blood test and it was negative right?

Honestly I'm hoping the test is nothing because it doesn't make sense. And I would rather I don't have hcg hanging out inside of me. I was just fascinated that I could get a false second line. Even if faint. I'm waiting until august to ttc so I'm on the diet for 12 weeks. Even though today I need to eat early so I don't pass out. Good luck :)

See how we go this cycle. I have a bit on with a daughters birthday so getting to the dr to be referred for a blood test in the next day or two will be tricky.

I have googled low temps and have found it mostly because of low progesterone so no surprises when you mentioned it. Don't apologise, I'm rarely on here so that's ok.

Do you know what the treatment for low progesterone is (here in Aussie land)?

That's bizarre they would treat it as a negative [emoji50] a line is a line on a hpt so even if it was faint or an evap its completely mind boggling they wouldn't follow up with bw????!!!! Can you get your hands on an frer for your own peace of mind? Again, lh wont cause a reaction on a hpt so it being high would have nothing to do with a line.

That sounds really scary mom25boys boys! So glad you're ok!! If you're quite sure there's no way you could be pregnant then it is likely an evap. You wont have elavated hcg levels unless you're pregnant so don't worry about that. As per previous post, I'd do an frer to rule it out and then put it behind you and focus on getting to august [emoji173]

Sorry I cant recall and there's none marked in your chart, had a feeling you added an attempt when you thought o was coming by fertile signs rather than opks. Have you had anovulatory cycles in the past? I think perhaps it may be the that you haven't oed rather than low progesterone that is causing the low temps [emoji848]

Strawberrybella it's a little concerning that you've appeared to o same day as pos opk last two cycles being that you have to rely on a donor for your attempt. Are you doing evening opks as well? Like between 7-8pm just in case it's near pos before bed? Just thinking if you do get a close to pos in the evening you might be able to give your donor a heads up that you'll need a sample by the following morning for you AI attempt if at all possible... at least then you would hopefully end up with a 2-o, 1-o or at the least a morning of o day attempt [emoji848] it must be terribly frustrating having that side of things out of your control [emoji173]

They are notorious for false positives and should be pulled from the market altogether for all the false excitement and subsequent heartache they have caused. In saying that I *think* I see something on the frer but not sure if it has colour or not (grey would indicate an evap). Is this the first frer test you've done? Can you get a pic of tomorrows between the 8-10 minute mark? Hoping so much its a legit line and is somewhat darker for you tomorrow fx fx fx!!!

Sent from my SM-G900I using TapatalkNo I haven't used any opks this cycle as with work it's too difficult to do them when needed. But when I did previously I never got strong positives but am using One Step ic.

No I don't think I've ever had an anovulatory cycle, I'm normally relatively regular, generally ovulate on cd17 of a 32 day cycle. Give or take a day or two. During May my cycle was longer due to stress but still pin point ovulation.

Acupuncture is something I'd try but not sure there's anyone near by who practices it here.

I'm not overly worried just yet. See what this cycle brings then head to the dr IF AF arrives.
