Another BFN (using an FRER) last night on 10 dpo, after holding pee for 4 hours. I think I am out. Of course, this morning I get up and my temps keep going up. This is so frustrating. I forgot how frustrating TTC is!! KraizyDaizy, looks like you are in the same boat as me and I'm sorry!

Boooo to BFN, but 10dpo is early and the temps going up is actually a GREAT sign!!!

I think we got an O day in (or at least an O+8ish), 3, 5 and 6 days-before-O attempts as well. I used RepHresh 2x but only a half app every 3-4 days and Sylk for BD. Poor DH even released last night just incase we had to keep this TTC going. He's been at it over 2 wks now so tonight, he'll be excited to know he's done for this month.
I think I'll just :hide: during this 2ww...

Suregena, Happy B-Day to your DS…:awe: You can fit some of those goodies in there as long as you get creative. I stopped taking Vitex and then within 24 hrs I had a nice dark OPK and then the next day it was a +OPK. You may want to try this if O isn’t coming yet. Continuing to send you O VIBES!

Seuss and Kraizy, hang in there...10dpo is still considered early. If I had any BFP dust, I'd sure send heaps and heaps your way! :HH: The 2ww just sucks...I start it energized and hopeful and then by the end of it, I'm always so run-down and jaded until there’s a BFP.

Thank you! I cannot believe my first and currently only baby is TWO! It's crazy how quickly the time goes... isn't that ALWAYS the saying?!

I stopped taking vitex days ago. At least a few days ago. :(
I kept having twinges today (almost like dull period type at times... not frequent, but enough to make me notice, since I'm hyper-aware waiting and waiting for O) I had some very light twinging in my left ovary-area and a bit on my right?
I checked my cervix AGAIN before I left work and it was pretty high for sure. But I had taken an antihistamine and repHresh last night so couldn't get much CM except stuff I am sure was from repHresh. (Super white, definitely no way it was CM! Has to be the repHresh from last night/skin cell shedding business!) My fingers are still crossed.


To make sure I'm not some royal idiot, a high cervix is like.. TMI.... your fingers, i.e. middle and ring finger, has to go up as high as you can get them to get near the cervix, right? Well, that's how it's been for quite a few days now! I so hope my body is just a bit freaked out by everything so it's like, "I wanna O... I WANNA O, but lady is freaking me out, what's wrong with her? I think I can I think I can..." Come on O!!!

Well, we've DTD three times thus far... once on the 18th (after he had already released two times that day before!) and twice yesterday (morning and night... actually, in the morning, as it was like 5:30am... he rolled over and I was like, "Hey, what the hell are you doing?! Oh, wait, oh yeah, I forgot... all right then." Heh.)

And then we'll go tonight and tomorrow a.m. (if he's up for it.)

I just don't want to miss it... well, whatever. I'm confused enough as it is, so, ah well, I'll do my best!

Don't worry, I liked it big and bold. It was like you were desperate for someone to chat to! So here I am. Had work yesterday, then a dinner out with DHs work, and a busy day today, so no time to get on here til now. Can't wait to hear when you guys test. Not long now! Is it you, Katie and Amari testing around the same time? I don't want to miss anyone, it is just hard to keep up!
I declared to DH today was a Peony Day, so I went to the gym, had a facial and a pedicure and caught up with a girlfriend. I even fell asleep (for a split second) during the facial, so don't think I could get more relaxed!
I have started doing OPKs, just once a day, as I am CD9 and want to keep a watch out for it. Not expecting it until next Wed or Thurs though.
Anyway, a big hi to everyone. Hope you have a great weekend for those in it and those about to start it.

I felt very (TMI!) wet this morning, you know similar to the feeling of your period, but it was all just slippery CM. But my OPK is still negative. We DTD last night but not this morning because son was in our bed!

Hi, ladies! This (2ww) is so nerve wracking! I don't like it one bit!

My dh was very sweet though, he sent me to pick up some friend of his from the train station who he said would be staying with us for the weekend and it turned out he had actually flown my dear friend in for the weekend to surprise me! I was shocked! So we will spend this weekend together!

I still can't get the, "am I pregnant"? question out of my mind every second, though!

11DPO and another BFN! I am using the stick tests that you can buy on Amazon and wonder if they are not very sensitive? Anyone ever use the ones in the pink pouch that you tear open and place in urine for 3 seconds and then lay flat for 5 minutes? I checked my cervix and it is high firm and closed, but when I wiped my finger in the tissus there was not pink but brownish/tanish tent to it so I listed spotting on my FF chart, but it's really not spotting as it is not on my panties yet? My BBs were sore, but not now and I have had a tiny bit of nausea, but I am just thinking it's all in my head? I hope all is well with everyone else!

KD, I have not used those ones before, so I am not much help sorry.
Pinkin, it is really hard not to get your hopes up when you see so many signs. You have heaps of great symptoms, so I think it is very likely you are pg. I thought I was pg one time last year as I was getting a lot of twinges/cramping and my temps went much higher than normal. I got a BFN, and in hindsight it was not surprising as I had used lots of lime (I was on IG at the time). FX for tomorrow for you and Katie. AAHH!

Pink and I are technically testing on the same day, but she is 16 hours (I think) ahead of me... so she'll be testing way sooner than I actually will. It is Saturday night here (a little past 8:30 p.m. right now) so I still have a full day to wait. I'm going to try to get some good sleep tonight, keep myself busy with chuch and house work tomorrow, and then try to get one more good night's sleep... and then I'll test when I get up around around 7:00 a.m. on Monday.

I had a chemical back in march last year I took a FRER 2 days after af was due i had a pink line wasnt real dark but was there...... With my ds i only got a faint faint line 2 days after af was due on a clearblue test

I really don't know how I feel. AF is not due for another week for me. I dreamed that I took a pregnancy test a day early and it was positive and I was so excited to share pictures on here of the test, and it was soooo realistic. I just want to be pregnant so bad. I think I'm also stressing because I always got pregnant first try with my boys, but this time is different. I have a feeling that no matter how hard I try to prepare myself if I get a BFN I'm going to be devastated. I just wish I could sleep!

Hey Pinkin, you wouldn't normally be getting AF cramps 5 or 6 days before AF would you? It sounds too early for that. The tricky thing is that the hormones involved with being pregnant and also AF are much the same, so the symptoms are often the same with both as well.

pink - I always get af-type cramps right before a BFP. In fact, I'm still getting them now and I'm 6 weeks pregnant! Cramps are a very good sign, especially when they're too early to be af!

Fantastic! No I just happen to O each time it is the new moon. I was just about to go on another site too, and see what moon sign it will be. I think it will be female. I don't really believe in this but its fun to look. Its not like I wouldn't ttc if it was a boy sign. but the more going for us the better!!

I won't test...I am not a preg test girl...I think last month I may have come up with an early positive. I was late and I had sore bbs like never before...seriously, never before!
This month I figure I out and I am just focusing on life...for once!

DS2 is turning 4 in two weeks so we have planned an old fashioned bday party!!!! Any game ideas????
Then, in 7 weeks we go away....!!!!!!!!!!! I am sooo excited.

I never realized how many people use it! I used it for DS1!
Will you do TBM at a certain time or just once close to o?

Well, although we conceived DS2 EXACTLY EXACTLY EXACTLY the same way...that was 5 years ago!
Not sure DH's swimmers are as good let alone my egg!

It just wasn't working for me! (swaying) Even DH keeps saying,...you can't eat that! lol! I was meant to have three boys and that has caused a lot of stress and upset for a LONG time. I might as well relax and enjoy life.

I've been sitting here at my laptop, feeling really down and worried. I was going back and forth between this thread and Facebook, talking to you (pink) and talking to a good friend (only one who knows what I'm going through with this)... and then I just stopped for a moment. I just started praying. I prayed God you let you be pregnant and I prayed God would let me be pregnant. (I don't know if you're a spiritual person, but I am.) I said "God, you know what's in my heart, and you know how badly I want a daughter." And I just cried. Then I refreshed my page and the very top post on Facebook was a picture of a little girl with the quote "A daughter is one of the most beautiful gifts this world has to give."

Is it a sign or was it just some crazy coincidence?

It made me so emotional.

Well, my period ended January 11th (CD 1 was January 5th) and I was due to O around January 18th. I didn't start testing until the 15th, then I started getting paranoid that O was early and I somehow missed it, but I waited until the 18th while testing to see, and I had no positive OPKs. I had seemingly fertile symptoms, though... high cervix, some fertile CM, etcetera, so we went ahead and started DTD on the 18th. But I've still been getting negative OPKs, so now I'm giving up. I'm just so confused...

I'm hoping that maybe the cheapie tests were just no good and maybe we hit ovulation without me really knowing except through actual signs.

I've been having mild twinge/cramping today... so I don't know what THAT is about. My OPK is still negative (have done two today) and I think my cervix feels ever so slightly lower now. So, I just don't know.

My lesson: even if over eBay pregnancy tests have worked for you in the past, spend a little more on OPKs....

Katie, all of this is certainly worth praying about. I hope it was a sign for you.
I looked into the moon signs as it was recommended to me by a naturopath who has been using them, as well as diet, to help women with natural gender selection for the past 10 years. Her clients have had a lot of success, so I thought I would include it. When I was on IG, I asked people who knew their O date in 2011 and the gender they were having, and it was accurate for 13 out of 15 of them. It is certainly not 100% guaranteed, so I just think of it as one extra part of my sway that I can include. For example, this month I am expecting to O during a Pisces (girl) moon, in a new moon, and I am also doing the girl diet. It just comes down to what kind of sway each person is happy doing so that they have no regrets whatever the outcome.

We are doing frequent from AF. 3 attempts, every other attempt will have Dh release in am, and dtd in pm. (may add an attempt) will see at time. things always seem to change a bit when the actual attempt starts! The Feb cycle will be on clomid (first time), and get injection trigger (makes egg release), so attempts will be day before, day of, day after trigger. Will do rephresh the day before the trigger.

I had a 3 day cut off and then dtd on a very very + opk with bad pain 12 or 14 hrs before so if i am not preg it will be hard for me because i assumed if i dtd that close to o I should fall preg as it happend first go with d/s.. I KNOW its not the case all the time and it can take people months but for some reason i just thought i would end up preg I am real down about it... Its harder to try and trick yourself into thinking your not preg because you want it so bad that your mind takes over

I don't know exactly when OV day is yet - not had a good enough thermal shift. It's most likely today (Monday) but could have been yesterday or could still be tomorrow. My CM looks a bit creamier today than it did yesterday, so maybe it was today afterall although I don't tend to get CM until later in the day so jury is still out on that one as I want to see a fair bit in order to convince me.

we got a pos OPK on Friday afternoon (after DH had released on Friday lunchtime - for fun, not for swaying), and first CBFM peak on Saturday morning so he released for the 2nd time on the Saturday lunchtime and we started DTD on Saturday night.
our last attempt was last night (Sunday)

does that make sense?


DH couldn't last for days on end either, and my OV is very irregular (normally CD26-CD31, last cycle it was CD19 thanks to vitex, this cycle it'll be CD15/16/17)

Checked my cervix (and took an OPK in case, negative of course) and it is definitely lower and CM is creamy. Hmmm!
So I lined up all my OPKs thus far to see if there was any faint or noticeable change. I had started dating them when I first started using them by the date but then got lazy because the pen wasn't liking to write on them, so began doing "1, 2, 3, etc"
Around 8, which I think would have been 20th maybe, the OPK had sort of indent/scratches I didn't notice because it was night time, but that one almost looks like the bottom half of the line was sort of trying to be thoroughly pink? I wonder if maybe I had a surge around the 20th?!?

I took a photo if anyone can see what I'm saying, if you want to look at my little test sticks--haw haw!

Thx...I thought Wed the 18th was O day but maybe it was in the late PM. If that's the case, we probably hit O almost on the head! It really, really was painful when we BD and it was all I could do to endure it. I always get really sore BD around O time and that was about the most painful BD session I can remember.

I inverted one, too! Seemed to make a difference with the earlier ones (from 16th January) and the latter ones (post 18th January)

I was SUPPOSED to have ovulated on January 18th, according to a few fertility websites I've been tracking my cycle with since my cycle came back post pregnancy in September. The times I used slightly more expensive OPKs (I had some given to me, probably should have saved them, but I was trying to get to know my "cycle" versus the fertility websites) in October/November, it seemed my cycle lined up with a positive OPK pretty dead-on with the websites and my own intuition/twinging, etcetera.

This time, pfft! Couldn't be further from the truth! However I was on diet/vitex/fibre/etcetera! No doubt that could make it a bit wacky!

I can't remember when I first checked my cervix (would have to go back in this thread!) Might have been the 19th or something when I noticed it being rather high/fertile CM? So maybe I O'd some days later? Which makes since with the number 8 stick! We'll see...

I am still here, just watching the thread mainly trying to stay hopeful, but losing that fight. I am 13DPO, cervix is high, firm closed and creamy cm, but I just could not test this morning. I am waiting for AF to come today according to FF is should happen today and I will test tomorrow if it does not. I am using the HPT strips from Amazon and not sure how sensitive they are? I need to get some FRER, but not thinking I am pregnant at all as all my tests have been negative. I did just have a wave of nausea this for just a moment, but maybe I am just hungry LOL? I go for my uterus ultrasound tomorrow though, so wouldn't that be something to see a little bean in there LOL? Would they be able to see anything yet? Maybe I should get them to do bloodwork as well for a serum test?

suregena - those are definitely confusing OPKs! I'm not sure when you O'd either, but it sounds like you did at some point in the last few days, and it also sounds like you got some good attempts in. Good luck - I really hope you get your BFP!!

Hey ladies... I wasn't going to test for another couple days but my curiosity got the best of me this morning so I went ahead and tested. It was a BFN, but It's still early. I feel pretty crushed, but I'm trying to stay positive. I'm going to force myself not to test again until at least Thursday. I should have forced myself to wait until then in the first place, but it is what it is.

I took ANOTHER Frer test this am its a bfn But i swear i can see a shadow of a line I am not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me or not! I am 11dpo today I just dont know tho I woke up with that burning period pain feeling.. I will test agin tomorrow but I think my mind is making it up ( me seeing a shadow there) because this period pain feels like usual period pain

pink - my BFP at 10dpo was just a shadow of a line I could only see in certain light. By 11dpo it was a lot more obvious. :fx: the same thing will happen for you. If you post a picture we can see if we see the line too - I was surprised that people could see my line in a picture when I could barely see it in person, but they did!

the test i took this morning i had to look at it in dif lights i dont even know if anything was there and it wouldnt show up on here .. I am out of tests now and i am not buying anymore will wait it out now..
I spoke to d/h last night by phone he is away with work for a week.. He just wants another child what ever the sex is he wont help me sway anymore he said no more f/r or abstain so i dont know what i will do now.. He is the type of guy that is straight down the line no mucking about doesnt believe in anything like swaying anyway he thinks its a load of ..... It will be a fight If I even ask him to help me sway I am quite upset about it because now everything I had palnned for over a year is out the window.. He said if we have 2 boys or 3 boys then he would help me sway and i understand we only have 1 d/s but TBH i only want 2 he wants 5!!!!!!! I cant see myself going through another pregnancy other then one more. I know they say its 50/50 but i know in my heart I will be having another boy. Anyway as I said I cant go to him and ask him to just try and sway for another month or 2 because he doesnt want any mucking around or d/s is 3.5 yrs and needs a brother or a sister so really as of right now I have no control over what d/h does with helping us get a girl...

Grrr. Pinkin I just tried to send you a heartfelt post and it vanished! I was saying that after the month your DH had he may be over it for now, but he could also be tired or stressed if he is working away, so give it a bit of time. You could probably do a compressed frequent release without even mentioning you were swaying, just seem really keen! What DH wouldn't like that?!

I got a :happy: on my Clear Blue OPK today at 2pm, but I don't have a DH!!!!!
He is away until tomorrow evening. I just have to hope that my O holds off until after that. Not much I an do about it, but I have been sooo good, I would hate to miss this month. I sent him a photo of the smiley and told him to be prepared to be jumped when he walks in the door tomorrow!

Yeah that is true about the compressed f/r BUT my only prob with that he said he wants to dtd without dumping any he got very stressed with all the releasing and he wants the best odds for our next try... he'd just release once and then you'd DTD 8-12hrs later (or sooner if he's able, but there'd be less swimmers in that), and you could keep BDing every 8-12hrs if you wanted to up your chances of a BFP

You could still manage it without him even knowing...my evil mind at work. You would just have to 'help him out' one time and then BD after that! My DH would be none the wiser if I tried on something like that. However, it is always best to talk it out with them!

Rainbow, sometimes I get a +OPK the same day as I O but mostly it is the following night (30 hours later). So we will most likely be BDing right around O. I don't have any EWCM as yet, just watery, so I don't think it will happen tonight anyway.

Peony I find i O usually about 12 hrs after + opk.. Yeah I think I could get him to release once and then dtd for real I will make sure its on o this time and will J and D and I will try and aim to use Rephresh 2 days before attempt.. Thanks for all the advice I need all I can get!

Pinkin, I know rephresh is really popular on here. But do you know what your CM pH is normally? Only that mine is only 4.4 without anything (even without the diet), so I am not using it. I think if I was to use it on top of my already low pH it would kill everything off. Anyway, I am still hopeful that you won't need to worry about any of the swaying next month and will get a BFP!

RepHresh does have the benefit of lowering pH back down after a BD, though, so is useful if you are BD more than once even if you already have a naturally low pH

(ughhh... Ew!) in the middle of the night and asked my husband this morning if he was hot last night. He said no because it was cold last night. I seem to remember night sweats happening in early pregnancy with me last time. Good grief, here comes the frequent convincing yourself you're pregnant-2ww! Oy vey. *trying to ignore everything!* I also had dull twinge my lower left. I don't even know if I O'd and I'm starting to nitpick every *thing*! Mild cramping, etcetera.
My period is due February 1st and we're having a date day on the 30th so

I have the same exact thing, pink. Constant low back pain and mild cramping. I'm not exactly sure when af is due b/c I haven't been getting periods or Oing on my own so it is all sort of a guess, maybe the 30th? I like peony's idea of helping dh out and then dtd. Sorry he is not on board, but hopefully you just get your bfp and don't have to worry about it at all!

I'm thinking he doesn't even have to know kinda like Peony said. My DH would certainly not turn down being satisfied in another way if you know what I mean :highfive: or you can just give him a few :beer: and take advantage (getting your compressed release).
Up to you and this is a big decision if it works for you, of course, - I would tell my DH I would be more interested in having more then 2, if I already had my DD. Giving him what he wants and you get want you want. Maybe he'll be on board and sway. Again you need to want more then 2.

Lemon~ Forgot to answer you about bday party. I always do a pinata- kids LOVE it. I usually hire someone too, they do parachute, face painting, limbo, balloons etc. kids really have a great time!

For everyone who is getting AF symtoms in 2 ww- with my DS 1 and I was so blissfully oblivious, I had a one time attempt on O day (everything else was a boy sway without me knowing) anyway, I swore AF was coming, every symptom I alsways get right before AF shows- suddenly it went away I took a test BFP- first time trying. SO HANG in there Ladies!!!!! You never know :)

I'm still a nervous nelly about this pregnancy, but at least I'm starting to have some very minor symptoms now, so it's making me feel a wee bit better. I have sore boobs, I'm so tired all the time I can barely keep my eyes open, and first thing in morning and late in the vening every day I feel a little bit queasy - not enough to make me throw up or even gag, but enough for me to notice. It always gets better if I eat something.

Hey ladies, just saying hello real quick. I forced myself not to test this morning. I've got a pretty busy morning tomorrow (DS1's speech meet at school followed by a session with a baby girl) so it'll be easy to skip testing tomorrow. I'm still feeling pretty worried though. That BFN from yesterday has really done a number on me. I'm starting to think I'm not pregnant and that all the symptoms I've been having were from my head because I want to be pregnant so badly. I'm trying to emotionally prepare myself to get another BFN in a couple days. If I get a BFP then I'll be incredibly surprised and excited, but if I get another BFN maybe it won't be so bad. I don't know.

I've been sitting here at my laptop, feeling really down and worried. I was going back and forth between this thread and Facebook, talking to you (pink) and talking to a good friend (only one who knows what I'm going through with this)... and then I just stopped for a moment. I just started praying. I prayed God you let you be pregnant and I prayed God would let me be pregnant. (I don't know if you're a spiritual person, but I am.) I said "God, you know what's in my heart, and you know how badly I want a daughter." And I just cried. Then I refreshed my page and the very top post on Facebook was a picture of a little girl with the quote "A daughter is one of the most beautiful gifts this world has to give."

Is it a sign or was it just some crazy coincidence?

It made me so emotional.

:wave:Morning/afternoon /night ladies! I hope all is well with you all.

I woke up the am to a major temp drop of 97.51, so I knew for sure AF was coming today, but I took a test anyways because AF was no where in site and of course BFN. Getting ready for my ultrasound this morning, of course AF decided to show her ugly face and it is a vaginal ultrasound of my uterus to check for fibroids and anything else that might be keeping us from conceiving. So needless to say, I am not in a good mood with my AF! How embarrassing! I told the u/s tech I just started and was barely bleeding so she said it would be okay to go ahead with the u/s. My uterus is backwards/retroflexed and yes, she found a very small fibroid 2cm or so long, but it is on the outside of the uterus, which is a good thing. If they are inside you have a hard time staying pregnant. This little fibroid could be the reason for my extremely heavy periods that make me anemic, but also my age and hormones could also be part of it, but this fibroid could be making things worse for sure. There is nothing they can really do about the fibroid at this point unless it grows or something like that because they are normally benign. There was no trace of baby so my AF is the real deal. The one good thing about today is that I started my AF and I could tell my doc to give me the prescription for Clomid and got to sit down and discuss it with her. I had an honest panic moment with my doctor though, and it was almost comical so I have to share this with you all because you are the only people who will understand and appreciate it.

Picture it, I am finally getting the girl swaying Clomid after being on Femara that has not worked for me, and was also on Clomid years ago for just a short time and it did not work either. I had HSG and got pregnant with Wyatt a month or so after but with the Instead Cups. Anyways, my doc was writing the Clomid script then she stopped writing, tore off the script and started writing a script for Femara. My palms were actually starting to sweat at this point. My doc was telling me that the Clomid would cause my CM to be hostile and make it harder to get pregnant and other reasons not to take it, so I took a deep breath and just blurted out, “Clomid sways girl” and she said, “Really, I have never heard that before”. So I said, “Yes, from what I am reading in the forums it does and having four boys and desperately wanting a girl, I am trying everything”. So, she said, “you want the Clomid then, and of course I said, “Yes”. My doc said, “That it makes sense that it would sway girl because only the strong sperm would be able to survive”. Then my doc said, "we might as well go ahead and schedule your OB u/s today too right, 'cause you are going to be pregnant this next month right LOL? I wish, hope and pray this happens cause from what I remember of Clomid, ovulation is really painful and your emotions are on your sleeve or crawling the walls while on it, or maybe I am wrong? Ladies how does it affect you all?

So long, story short, I have Clomid to start taking on CD5 and we DTD the weekend of Feb 3 and I get my progesterone blood test on Feb 13. So my sway will be frequent DTD through O, a little SYLK (when do you use it?), low salt and so forth/more veggies diet, BBT temping (should I do OPK’s and my CB monitor?) and pray. What all do you think? Any ideas would be great!

KD~ That sounds great!! I'm so glad you spoke up to your doc -you have too!! Great job :) Sounds like you have things under control. You use the sylk when you are DTD you can put it on DH then it gets in all the nooks and crannies inside you. I wouldn't go overboard with it you want to get preggo quick on clomid. I start mine next cycle and plan to still temp, and do OPK to make sure I O and of course do I know when to DTD! 13 days until your attempt thats awesome!!!

Think it's too early for an Imp Dip? I think I'm only 6dpo at the most. Who knows...Honestly, I am just thrilled to pieces that my body finally got things in gear and O'ed. Whew! In about a week, regardless of the outcome, I'll be having a food-a-palooza for a day or two :)
