I am SO glad everything looks great with rice ball! If you're like me, I couldn't stop looking at them (still havent! They're sitting right here beside computer!). I think if you do decide to open the envelope maybe you should let DH do it and ask him to reveal it to you when he wants to. That way maybe he'll possible hold off if it is girl, but you won't know for sure!

I had davys paed appointment yesterday due to his reflux, Doc was more than happy with him and said as an experienced mother he was sure I knew he was ok and if I had any worries then to contact him. DC2 was a sicky monkey too which he grew out of at about a year old, so I pretty much knew this was similar to Dave, I know the health Visitors have to keep an eye on these things just incase, but it is a pain having to go to out of town appointments isnt it:)
Jen hows your little fella!!
Oh and on a slightly different note, I put something in my eye last night which caused an allergic reaction and made my eye ball and eyelids all puffy, when I woke up this morning is was practically swollen shut, i took a picture but I look well ROUGH in it:rofl: Its gone down now but I may post the dodgey pic for a laugh later on, no time now DH due in!!!!

Skrimpy, CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!! So excited for you!
Our scan is a week from Monday, the 24th. We want a boy so stinking bad that I haven't been able to even get on here in months. Can't stand the waiting game. Same when we were ttc. All the talk makes me looney! =)
So excited for all the boys coming!

Lol hopeful:) It can definately do your head in on here wh en your waiting being so gender based. Sometimes it is good to step back, enjoy the pregnancy and let gender reveal itself when it does. best of luck on the 24th!!

I've been a wreck all week as an old friend went to a routine check up and they couldn't find baby's heartbeat...turns out cord got wrapped around his neck :( so distraught for her and the thought that it could happen to me is so scary. And knowing there is nothing at all I can do to prevent something like that except praying that all stays well. Has anyone else known anybody that has happened to? This is the 3rd close friend in the past 6 years I've known that has had a stillborn due to a cord accident...that percentage seems to high to me.. :( trying not to worry and hoping I haven't also made anyone else worried...so sorry if I have, but just wanted to talk about it...

Skrimpy - congrats again on the little blue bean, glad the boy joy is feeling a little more real :)
Hobber - if yours tend to come early it's officially any day now!!! Oh and you have nerves of steel, if I had the gender cd in my home I would have caved within the hour lol
ELP - Sorry about Davy's reflux. DD2 had is so sever we ended up at the children's hospital with failure to thrive. It wouldn't have gotten that bad if my stupid ex-pedi had listened to me. My current pedi fixed her up quick and now she's great, fx Davy grows out of his soon.
Charlie is pretty good, he's eating solids like a champ but he's having a hard time with those damn teeth so his sleeping sucks. He's got the cutest skootching crawl, I think he'll be up on his actual hands and knees in no time. omg this is happening so fast!
Oh your poor eye, yes post the pic so we can all giggle
Yahmama - awe, your poor friend, so devistating :broken: I've heard of it but happening but don't actually know anyone it happened to, I'm sure your little guy will be just fine :)
hope.ful - you found out yesterday right??
oh 5 my love, fx they get you healthy and back home soon :bighug:
Questing for you ladies with older boys, were they clingier and nursed more then your girls? He's such a momma's baby and I'm trying to figure out if this is a boy thing or a Charlie thing.

Has anyone heard an update on Hobber??? Thought she said last week on a timing thread that she was going to be induced early this week???
3p1b- my DS was DEFFO a champ nurser and would never take anything else...but once he was about 11 mon old he all of a sudden was "too busy" to nurse, so I put pumped milk in a sippy cup for him and did that till he was 12 mo...but my dd1 was even worse...she wouldn't even take pumped...had to have it straight from momma! Think it depends on each baby's personality!

Lol, my flamin eye!! My son, bless him, deleted the pic of it before I could post it thank goodness, I looked so rough in it! Any body else hiding from age atm?? I hit 37 this month and am starting to look like my nan!! And she looks like a man!!! Its foul (shivers)!
Davy had his check up and the Doc was quite happy with him and said exactly the same, that he would grow out of it, he even said to stop the useless medicine he was on and apparantly alot of people had said it was also rubbish!
I got a crawler here too:bigsmile: Isn't it a nightmare:suprise: You forget so easily. Now the bruises are starting to appear where he just crawls straight into things, chairs, walls lol!!
And YES! He is a clingy baby, so was DS1 who was again extremely clingy, almost like a little chimp you have to pries his hands off, and if I leave him asleep in the cot with his dad (obviously dads not in the cot aswell:bigsmile:) he will start to cry as soon as the front door clicks and only stops when I walk back in:bigsmile: This strangely actually makes me happy as my youngest DD stopped taking the booby at about 10 weeks and I felt so sad and rejected, so he completely makes up for it:bigsmile:
I will post a recent pic in the next few days, Jen post one of lil Charlie aswell ok xx

I think i have read somewhere that you do need to eat more calories if you are pregnant with a boy, i have also been eating so much this time around. fx

I ate like a pig and gained 30 lbs, but most of it must have gone to my baby, because he was big (8lb 6oz) and I lost the rest of my weight within two weeks after he was born! I am still working on losing the weight I gained from being on the HE diet for so long, though.

I like what I am hearing. Thanks for the boost.
I just have my 1st appointment at 10 weeks with my doc, Last time I saw him at 13 weeks and then not until 20 weeks. So I am hoping that there will be another apointment at maybe 15 weeks so he may be able to tell me the gender then. If not then I will be waiting until the 20 week "big" scan.
Dloui you are nearly there. My DD was due on the 18th Dec, she arrived on the 21st, Just the best early Christmas present ever. She ended up being a cesarian though so I was in hospital Christmas day, so hopefully your little man has better timing and you are back home with your girls.

Pearl, big FX for you!! That was my first "real" sign that my last baby could be a girl...I didn't have the crazy appettie that I had with my two DS's...with them, I craved meat all the time and had to eat like every 2 hrs, and a lot of meat actaully helped my morning sickness go away, and with DD, I had a huge aversion towards meat, and had to find other creative ways to get protein and my appeite was low. I gained only 10 lbs with DD (and she was born at 8 lbs, I was already overweight to begin with, so it was all OK) and I gained about 30 lbs + for each boy....so the funny thing is, I actually weigh LESS now than I did before I had DD, I have to lose the Boys' baby weight, hehe.
:fingers: that you got a cute little boy growing pearl!

Hobber - omg your little guy is so stinkin cute!
Flava - So glad you're back and feeling so much better! That little fella of yours is just adorable, congrats again love :)
Cinss & dloui - my son too was much bigger then my girls. 1lb 13 bigger then the smallest and 1lb 9oz bigger then the biggest, sorry if that scares you :)
dloui - Love the belly! Looks like mine with Charlie, huge round and way out front. You're sooo close, I can't wait for pics :)
I can't believe it but Charlie is 9 1/2 months old already, he's so hilarious and in to everything, he even has an official "mischief face". It is true, boys are definitely more active then girls. After dd2 I didn't think there could be a more active baby but boy was I wrong lol

dloui-you look so nice .Only 3 more weeks or so!
aurora-I think baby girls are awesome lol I need to wait and see how this baby boy will be.
I don't know I always read that there is no different between them when they are this little but I don't think so. He look like a boy and you can tell right away it's a boy baby. I did first bath yesterday and he hated it lol and peed all over.
3pink-wow 9and 1/2 months! How did it happened so fast? I really hope my boy will be calm aaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!

Charlie is a very clingy little monkey too. He's an excessive nurser/suckler and loves to be cuddled while sleeping. He's much more into his momma then the girls were. I'm not gonna lie, I kinda like it :)
See that's the funny thing, Charlie looks so much like dd3 did as a baby that it was hard at first wrapping my mind around having a boy. Until I opened the diaper anyway lol You're lucky he looks all boy, I only see dd3 if Charlie's not wearing very boyish clothes lol
As far as crazy boys go I'm not sure how much is nature and how much is his sisters. They are constantly going and he wants to chase them and play with whatever they are. They also encourage him to crawl everywhere, talk and make noise and are constantly stacking blocks for him to destroy lol When they are at school he's mellow but constantly exploring.

3P1B, I have had the opposite experience with activity level in boys/girls--my DD2 is far more active and into things than DS1 was! She is still into everything, and totally wild! DS1 is good at playing alone, building legos, playing with cars, etc. He hardly ever causes trouble!

On a different note ladies, would you claim if there was blame?? Earlier on this evening me and all the kids were walking to the schools xmas fare, 5.30 pm very dark. We have to walk down a pavement of concrete slabs 4ft x 6ft?? which are all uneven with up to an inch rise. Theres no lights and it was pitch black, my 3 yr old caught her foot on one of the risen up bits and landed flat on her face. I had to carry her into the school with a face full of blood (nearest place with light), frightened the life out of the elves on the door, and shes split her lip, grazed all her face and has a loose tooth.
Now whats annoyed me the most is that the area is between two authorities, I went on one website to report it they say its not their area, went on the other website same again! not their area grr, no wonder its such a mees, no one is taking responsibility for it. I'll attach a pic of my poor LO :(

Ugh, vacation is over, AF has returned. For the first time since my early 20's she is no longer a sad omen or one less in a count down to ttc. Each pregnancy has changed my periods, going from terrible cramps to none and a horrifically heavy flow for 2-3 days to a tolerably heavy one for 3-4. Well this time I'm having bad enough cramps to take something, crazy bloating and headaches and oh god must have chocolate! I haven't been like this since before dd1, I think the boy broke me lol
I just noticed, this was my 1400 post!

I am feeling great ELP. Apart from a little big of heartburn a couple of times I am fantastic, No nausea, no tiredness, just normal me with evening time bloating and a huge appetite. So are you going to TTC in Dec or wait until after Christmas.
My 1st scan is on the 14th Dec, only 11 more days to go.
Dloui, have you looked into reflexology. We DD I had my 40 week appointment on Fri 17th Dec, Her DD was the 18th and I had 0% effacement with a closed cervix, no sweep as Dr had done one the week before and nothing. I had reflexology later that day and the next day with a woman who has had waters break on her massage table, and by 1.27am Sunday morning contractions started and contiued all the way through to Tuesday when DD was born. (I was starting from nothing) I will definately be starting the reflexology earlier this time around.

I haven't really don't anything yet, I am waiting until at least 40 weeks and then I will start to try and do some of the things everyone says brings on labor. The only thing I have been doing a lot of is walking around. I go to the dr today for a checkup so we will see if the walking has done anything, I was 1-2 cm last week.

Went to the dr today for my check up, I am 2-3 cm dilated and 50% effaced, he still hasn't dropped yet. My blood pressure was high so I have to go back in a couple days to get it checked again. Hopefully since I am already 2-3cm it means I won't go overdue :worry:

I read back a few pages and my, I hope your DD is well ELP. Poor thing! How frustrating as a Mama!
Jen that little Charlie boy is beyond precious  So fun to see him so big now!
DD3 could not be a sweeter baby. Honestly aside from not having a penis she is PERFECT  Seriously though I do love her guts and am glad she is here. But gender desire is still a big part of my life and I'm trying to just give it a hug and embrace it as something I have to carry with me. There are far worse things to be burdened with. But Christmas card season makes it seem to be really sucky! Everyone keeps announcing baby boys (after 1-2 girls, of course ...) and I want to have a big bonfire of cards this year  I can truly be happy for others, it isn't a jealousy issue, I just end up having a pity party for me. So I resolved to stop opening cards. And to stop having friends who can conceive boys  It is making my Christmas card list much shorter so that's an upside
Anyhow, just thought I would drop in and say hi. I think of all of y'all often :hugs:

Y'all are sweet. Sorry for being fussed ... it's just y'know the 1st page of this whole thread was me and TTC5 and babydes and jen 18 months ago ... it was all new and everyone here was newly with BFPs, so no one was here because they had a boy, they were here because we "graduated" from the swaying thread. But obviously a bunch has changed in 18 months and most people who "fail" leave, so it just becomes the natural place for all the winners to be hanging out. I just feel like that loser in the lunch room, lol ... and all the cool kids are super nice but you still feel left out bc the truth is you're not like them.
Hobbs I don't think we will do HT. I looked at it very, very seriously and even met with a doc. But I can't do it. It's just not right for me, much as I want it to be ... I can't. If we were just starting our family and I knew I'd be up for giving each and every little embryo a shot (boy or girl) then I could, but if I had to leave any "babies" on the table to get my boy I'd torture myself over it forever. And that's the HT gamble ... maybe I'd only get 1 perfect boy and he'd stick and it'd be happily ever after, or maybe I'd have 2 girl embies, or 3 boys and have to pick and forever wonder what the others would have been like ... so yeah. Not for me.
Adoption and just getting knocked up again are both still options. As is doing nothing. We'll see. I kinda feel like maybe it just isn't in the cards for me to have a son after all. I try to look at it as do I want to experience adoption (and part of me genuinely does and has for years) or do I want to have a 4th daughter. I really try to totally rule out having a genetic son as an option for me at this point.
ELP you crack me up planning your next already. I absolutely ADORE you for your big-family-loving self :) You make it sound like the best time ever and I love it! Honestly I think if we had a mix or all boys we would totally have more kids. Which is part of what makes the GD such a bad deal! It totally hampers my ability to have more kids.
Flava I will try to get a pic up here soon ... she looks like DD1 which means she's another one that favors my DH, which is great for them bc they (and he) have the.most.beautiful.eyes. And re: BF I do, only bc it's easy. I make a lot of milk and everyone of mine has latched on well from day 1, so for me, it's just easy. I'm so glad you're feeling better now that he is here!

Hobber - I've gotten a 9 month break with each baby, but yes, it's extra nice of her to return just in time for Christmas lol
Flava - that's too bad he's having tummy trouble. dd3 had severe reflux, it's so hard to see them uncomfortable. I exclusively BF and have always had to choose between losing weight and having an ample milk supply. If I cut to many calories and don't chug water my supply suffers. I'm a stubborn bitch, formula isn't an option lol

Flava, our nights are terrible! We have 3 kids in our small room with us, I'll post a pic later on:) One DD sleeps through, the other DD gets in the bed about 3 times a night, DH starts moaning so I have to put her out 3 times a night. Between her 3 visits Davey starts moaning for a quick comfort suckle about 3 times a night! Then I put him back in his cot about 3 times a night!!! Plus DH rant coming on here! He wont turn the telly off until about 11-12 pm everynight! And I cant drop off listening to it! So nights are pooooooooooh!!!! But, it has always pretty much been like this?? So I have just got used to it:) As long as every now and then I have a fluke night with a block of 4-5 hours sleep then I can keep the stress of it all under control. I say to myself when its rough 'Well I wanted them!' and if I do moan DH reminds me 'Well you wanted them'
I full time b/f but my supply is rubbish aswell, I think thats why nights have always pretty much been a constant battle with the babies. But luckily my children naturally dont grow fast either so I dont feel too guilty:oops: I have started to give Davey formula more regularly now plus weaned to food at 4 months and am trying to remember to bring him up a bottle at night and just move it back to him in the cot at nights now so he stops sneaking in the bed, but if I forget then its so cold downstairs that I cant be bothered to go down and get it and instead accept another yoyo night on the cards:rolleyes::bigsmile: I must get more organised!!!!

Just read back to this post Jen, ugh that sounds uncomfortable!! With the knowledge floating about the site on herbs and vits is there anything that can help this?? Does vitex help with this????? I know that taking fish oil atm has made my af very fluid, it literally pours! sorry for tmi! So avoid that one:agree:

Mocha - I can't believe your dd is 2 months old already, such a cutie!
I can't believe it either. I'm savouring every moment with her, though.
ELP - your nights sound a lot like mine, except that my little Sadie is the least disruptive one of the bunch. Two of my boys play musical beds all night constantly sneaking into our bed, then when dh starts grumbling I have to bring them back to their own rooms only to have them come back an hour later. We really can't fit in our Queen bed, so I often find myself pinned between the two of them and so uncomfortable I can't sleep.

begonia-Sure you can have a boy too just like everyone else. I also swayed 3 times for a boy and the first 2 was girls and I thought for sure I never get a boy. So it did not come to me easy.
I also wonder what is with babydes? She is just gone too..

3pink-great that you have so much milk. I also have to eat and drink a lot and still not much milk .I tried all the tricks already with my girls and nothing helps. So i give formula because I don't starve my babys. And no way I lose any weight until I BF .Only after I stop it's so annoying really.I see some girls just BF and slim down but not me.
ELP-omg night time does not sound so good at your place. I would go crazy !:worry: I can only sleep alone even DH is bothering me because he snores. So i don't mind if he sleeps on the sofa... The babys only slept in the bad for a little while when I was BF and that's it. So they are not use to come in my bed at all and I like it this way lol.
Anyone have a girdle? I have the bellefit and this is the first time I got one. But I don't think it helps ? Like ok Im smaller because at first I could not even put it on but I think I just lost weight in the first week after i had the baby like I always do and not because of the girdle. I wear it every day but no difference at all no more loosing and I think it will stay this way until I BF like always. I even use to sleep in this thing but not anymore because Im sick of it...anyway how long we suppose to wear this thing? It was a bunch of $ and now I wish I never got it.

Flava - I used the Bellefit this time. I'm quite happy with it and am still wearing it now at 2.5 months postpartum. For the first 6 weeks i wore it 24 hours per day. I don't think it's a miracle product by any means, but in the very least it made me feel a little less self conscious by hiding my saggy tummy. I also have definitely lost the weight more quickly this time (which is a good thing since i gained almost 70lbs!), but that's definitely due to diet and not the girdle. I started in a size medium (which was very hard to do up at first) and within 2 weeks could just squeeze into a small.

I have the Bellefit too, and it helps hold stuff in, but hasn't shrunk anything. I can't imagine it will at this point. I do wear it daily, though, because I have busted out my abs having babies, and look pregnant all the time when I am not. So the girlde helps me look a little better. But when I take it off, my belly pops right back out again!

Begonia, PLEASE don't feel like a "loser"! You absolutely are NOT. You just have a "determined DD" (as 3P1B said!), who very much wanted to be a part of your family! There is no reason you couldn't have a boy for #4 if you try naturally. I can see why you wouldn't want to do HT, feeling that way about left over embryos. I hope you get your boy one way or another. I like adoption. I babysit for a little boy who is adopted, and I think it is such a cool way to make/expand a family!

Oh I think I CAN have a boy... I actually think EVERYONE can have either gender, I've really never doubted that. I just don't believe that I WILL have a boy. You know? I mean, FIL is 1 of 10 but his parents had 4 girls first (like you and TTC5!) but went on to have 4 more boys! So I think it's just a matter of what side the coin lands on, I really do. And for a long time, I thought I would have boys. I thought it so strongly that I really couldn't believe it when I heard girl three times, it just boggled my mind that I was so wrong. So I guess now I've realized that my "gut" is not in line with my reality. My reality is I have three daughters.
Whenever people say anything to DH about not having a son he says "if I want a boy I'll have a boy." And he means it ... if it's THAT important, we'll either adopt or duggar it out. We make babies easier than most people make pancakes  They just keep coming out girls

ELP - you are never going to give up on #6 for us are you? lol Sorry but the IUD is in for the long haul :) Wow that sleeping situation sounds..um..busy lol I'm with Flava, I like my bed with as few people as possible.
I'm really hoping this first AF was a bit of a fluke and from here on out it'll be better. I'm battling a pretty ugly cold so I think some of the crap is from that.
Flava - I would certainly rather give formula then have my baby be hungry, I got very close to having to supplement with Charlie. I was never able to lose weight while BF either till this time around, it's going paleo that's done it for me. My neighbor looked like she'd never had a baby two weeks after her 3rd was born thanks to BF, I hate her lol
I agree lots of ladies have left never to return, lots!
B - I never thought I would have a boy either :) "We make babies easier than most people make pancakes" Us too but holy crap I just peed a little!

Jen I have the same deal with my cycle! Before kids I had NO cramping, and it was light and brief ... with each child I've had it has gotten more painful and longer :( I'm dreading my 1st post partum AF ... I usually get a solid 10 month reprieve due to breastfeeding but with DD3 coming up on 9 months it won't be too much longer! Anyhow ... Charlie is A DOLL so I agree with ELP. One more for you ;) And I do love "determined DD!" Such a fun twist on it!
Hobbs I AM a loser, LOL ... it's ok to admit when we've lost. I lost at having a boy but I won at having a daughter (again) so... y'know. It has been nice though, with the acceptance of being a girl mom (GAG) I don't really have the gender disappointment I used to have. DD1 is my beloved tomboy, but DD2 practically sweats glitter, and I'm ok with that. I love her for being who she is even if it's not my kinda thing. So it's been good bc my disappointment has really faded. But the gender desire is as strong as ever so?!?
We have several friends who have adopted! Our neighbors actually adopted 2 boys internationally, and I like the idea of adopting a pair so that when they feel different (bc they will) they have someone they can relate to. I used to daydream about adoption when I was a little girl bc I was sure I would never get married, and so I saw myself as an uber-successful single woman who would adopt bc I wanted kids but not marriage :) My DD1 always says she's never getting married and I just laugh ... watch her get married at 21 ... and then be ELP and give me a whole buncha grandkids
Hobbs I'm so happy you had your DS2! Was DS1 excited for a brother?
Flava how have your girls been with DS1? And I KWIM re: others who totally left. I probably won't be a regular by any means (DH is out of town this week so I want people to talk to at night) but I don't know that I'll really truly leave for good. Been through so much with y'all.

i don't know if anyone remembers me but i wanted to pop in with an update. michael is almost 6 months old now. he is such a happy baby. he never cries, he sleeps through the night. his big sisters are all so in love and so is his mama. and despite all the early complications i had and tons of steroids he's soo tiny. 13lbs so he's kinda small, i tell him i know babies who weigh more at birth then him. but he's meeting all his milestones. we have to be careful about formula, he had an awful allergic reation a few weeks ago when we stopped breastfeeding. thankfully its all cleared up and now we can focus on crawling! thanks again everyone

There is a difference between not meeting a goal (or "losing" as you put it) and being a LOSER. I ythink "loser" has much more negative connotations! And I definitely don't think you are one! You just didn't meet your goal. Big difference! :)
I love that you said that about your DD..... what a great way to put it! My older DD is definitely a girl, but not girly by any means (doesn't like dolls or princesses, likes animals, playing outside, etc), but DD2 has already expressed interest in lots of girly things at age 2. Infact, when she came to see me at the hospital after DS2 was born, and I was wearing a pink hospital gown, she exclaimed, "Mommy! You look like a PRINCESS!" ( I guess that is the closest she has ever seen to me being in a dress!). She may start sweating glitter some day, too.
Oh, and Thanks!! All the kids love the baby. He gets more hugs than I do! :)

Hi girls !
I did not turn on my laptop for 4 days...no time for nothing. Baby is good at night but not sleeping much in the day time .And when I can put him down I run around try to do some work . He want's to be held a lot .Well like all the time when he is up ! My back huts all the time...DH says it's because of the BF and we should stop it. I have little milk and he hangs on me for a long time to eat and fall asleep .When I put him down he wakes up. So DH says he gets use to be held all the time and we still have to give formula after anyway because when I put him down he wakes up crying hungry.Im sure he use me as a paci too but he don't take a real paci.
I don't know what to do! What do you guys do ? I should as all this in a Nov. birth club I guess only we don't have any.
On the good side he like to look around , looking at his sisters and the blinds on the window and the tv lol .He look so interested in things. He is staring in my eyes when he eats like we have a contest or something.
girlmom-i remember you! Wow a baby who never cry how do you do it? You are so lucky! And sleep all night that's great! Post some pics!

checking in on you dloui :) I know it gets super annoying to have everyone on baby watch but still ... so much fun to meet your next family member and he'll be here ANY DAY NOW!
(was totally thinking a 12/12/12 bday would be cool! few hours left ...) FX for a smooth L&D!

My guys did that too - the only thing to do is wait it out and be prepared because when it happens, it happens in a big way! It goes away after a few weeks when things get working properly.

Hi all... just thought I'd introduce myself.... I got a bfp at 8dpo... I'm 4w5d now. I have 3 girls and swayed for a boy. I fell pg first cycle of gd... previously I was attempting loosely following ig guidelines but I reckon that I would never have fallen pg dtd once a month :-)
I haven't got a great deal of symptoms so far, just huge boobs and loose bowels and the nausea is creeping in.
My due date is August 20th 2013.
I'm trying to do this pg differently this time. I would like only 2 scans and for a surprise. I had major Gd with dd3, I don't really want to be crying for 20 weeks. I have come to terms with having another beautiful princess, and if its a boy then it would be icing on the cake. I didn't have a surprise with any of the kids so this being our last, I think it would be great. Plus it wouldn't matter coz I gave all my baby clothes away so either sex, I'll still have to get new clothes:-)
Good luck to those who are due soon.

Hi, thanks for the welcomes. I can't seem to keep up with everyone so bare with me :-). I also get nervous until the first scan at 12 weeks so I usually keep a low profile. I haven't had much in the way of symptoms, just the occasional nausea. Oh and the sore boobs. I suppose its enough as when I compare it to the time I had a m/c at 7 weeks, I had no symptoms whatsoever, but its scared the living day lights out of me.
We are already on the hunt for a car. I'll be driving a people mover for years to come.
Well I hope there's some birthing action here in the next few days... good luck!

My heart is still skipping a beat to see "he" lol! We haven't told anyone (just DH and I know) so I don't even think about it all that much except when I take peeks at the few little outfits I've snuck home :p
We do have a name picked out... it's the boy name we picked with Honor and both of us felt strongly that it was meant for a little one, so it's just been waiting on him to get conceived <3 We always keep that a secret but his initials will be CJB <3 <3 For now he's Riceball :p
I've got our birth kit together and a little bin of newborn clothes all ready beside my bed. Have about 45 entrees in the freezer. So definitely starting to feel ready... some ladies due in Jan are already having babies. I don't want my bub to come early at all but it's still hard to wait. Esp. when I feel huge! I need to get DH to take a pic. hehe.

Yes, we will have a home birth <3 I will get DH to take some pics of me... love my baby belly but not so much the other "padding" I've put on haha. But I want pics of my belly.
I was planning for a surprise, even didn't look during the u/s and felt really good with that. Then I was looking at the pictures and the video clip the technician gave us and she messed up... she gave us a shot with boy parts. DH had gotten gender in an envelope and gave me that after I saw the pic and eventually he and the gals on here prodded me into opening it. So we know it's a boy though I'm still kinda in disbelief!
We haven't told anyone else, though, not even the other kids. So it will be a nice surprise for them!

Congratulations Dloui!! I have appreciated all your wonderful advice and am so happy you can finally hold your son.
I'm not sure if I am posting here too early as my AF is due tomorrow but I have had a very faint BFP so if this is a sticky bean then my due date will be 31 August!
Don't even need the test though, as I am feeling all the usual pregnancy symptoms already.
It's nice to join this group as I based much of my sway on you girls over here (Flava in particulars I must have read your sway 10 times at least).
Anyway, hope you don't mind me joining so early.
