They literally feel just like AF. Right across the middle of my uterus. Occasional right side ovary pain still, but what stands out more is the AF like cramps. I don't feel too positive about it; I've heard from several ladies that it's pretty typical of Clomid. Boo!

I get every symptom in the book from progesterone but clomid and femera never casued cramping for me. Maybe I just didn't notice cause the progesterone causes me cramping!

Welcome, sweetlily!!

Taytum, this is my first cycle with clomid, so I don't have any advice. Sorry!! I have just been having twinges on one side or the other and consistent nausea.

Two, thank you for being so thorough. I am not used to temping, so I feel like a little kid when it comes to them, lol! I am a bit more confident for tomorrow though, based on your explanation. We'll see what happens with my hpt tomorrow. I'm using the same cheapie brand from Walmart as yesterday. FX!!

YW! I don't claim to be an expert, but I have been charting a long time and learned a lot in that time. The learning curve can be steep at first and somethings you can only learn for yourself, like your norms, what things feel like, look like etc. Others can guide you but in the end it is up to you to learn. However, any time I can possibly make it even a little bit easier on someone just learning I try to because I wish I had had someone to walk me through it all at first. It would have made the process so much easier. If you ever have questions, feel free to ask. I am happy to help if I can :) Keep us posted! I am eager to hear your update tomorrow!!

So I dont normally experience o pain but as I was expecting to o today I have been paying close attention. I felt for maybe a few minutes some pains from the lh side then about 20mins or so later maybe have longer pains from the rh side. Does this make any sense to anyone? Do you normally only feel pain on one side? I'm hoping I've ovulated or currently am as will be within 16-19 hours since bd!!

Same happened to me today. Kinda alternating side to side. Especially this evening, so I am thinking I am O'ing like... NOW lol, so I doubt I'll see a shift tomorrow but anything is possible I suppose. Plus OPK is getting lighter.

Over the years Ii have had cycles with pain on both sides. Usually one side dominates, pain wise, but it's not unheard of to feel it on both sides. I always take pain on both sides as a good strong O or maybe follicles that are mature or near mature on both sides. Not necessarily popping two eggs, maybe like, and forgive the gross analogy but it's late and all I can think of at the moment, if you think of your ovaries as skin and the follicles as zits (sorry!) One or more may not be ready yet... doesn't mean it won't hurt if pressure is applied... kinda like that. I don't know honestly... just a couple untested theories

I could be wrong but I am not expecting a shift in the morning. It takes several hours for the temp to shift, I think I just O'd or am O'ing now, and I will be taking my temp in about 5 hours... or less if hubby's dozen alarms wake me. It is not uncommon and I've learned to compensate for the difference but generally there isn't much of one. A lot of times if I get woke up I'll take my temp because I can't always get back to sleep. Then, if I manage to get back to sleep, I'll take it again at my normal time and generally the difference is like 1-2 100ths of a degree... in other words barely a difference. YOU, on the other hand, if you're O'ing now you have a pretty good shot at seeing a shift in the morning! I guess we shall see what morning brings for both of us though! thanks for the :fingers: and right back at ya!

BTW, You are so lucky! So much less time between BD and O! I am already looking at 28 hours since BD... not exactly a ton of time I know but I am fighting the urge to wake DH up and attack him, lol. Feels sooo weird to NOT be BD'ing like bunnies right now! I feel like opportunity is just slipping away and I am just hanging out, doing nothing, lol.

Thank you! And I'm hoping so! Just have to see that temp rise and I'll feel way more confident! Well I'm hoping you see your shift even if your only 5 hours off taking! I also think anywhere from 12-36 hours from bd is a fantastic chance! We had someone with a o-2 one attempt that ended with a bfp last month think it was tiffsal?? Hearing you on strange not to be going at it like mad lol I remember 3-4 attempts in four days when ttc both my boys!!

I can't say how many attempts we had with my first. We were NTNP and the relationship was still new enough that we were the proverbial bunnies lol. With my second, we were actually technically on a TTC break because I had to take a cycle off of clomid and didn't expect to O so we only had 2 attempts (one on O-1 and one on O-3). With my third, I had a lot going on that cycle so we only had attempts on O, O-2 and O-3. Those were all my boys, and it is funny that the cycles we had the fewest attempts in the fertile window are the ones we conceived in(in other TTC cycles we have sometimes as many as 8 attempts in the fertile window and got BFNs), again except for my first possibly because I didn't chart and I don't remember. With my 4th preg, our DD, we weren't trying and semi-preventing. I thought I waited long enough for egg to be gone but we knew we were planning to TTC soon so we didn't wait the usual 3 days after temperature shift... it was more like 36'ish hours after first +OPK, after my CM and CP started to shift back to infertile, but before temp shift (oops, lol) but we caught the egg that night... either that or we got preg off a 5 day old deposit, lol. The fact that our one and only DD came from 1 attempt... without swaying no less, is the only thing keeping me from caving into instinct, lol.

I am trying to figure out the time difference so I know when to stalk but #s aren't my strong suit lol. If it is 8'ish pm there and 6'ish am here... that is what? A 10 hour difference?? So 6:30 your time would be like 4:30 my time?? Like I said... numbers aren't my thing lol.

Welcome sweetlily!

Two - Woo hoo for the temp spike! FX for your BFP!! Looks like you had great timing. And I know what you mean about feeling like time was passing during my fertile window and I couldn't do ANYTHING because we're stuck to the E4D plan. I kept thinking, maybe one extra time will get us that BFP. If months continue to pass, I know I will end up giving in.

XX - Glad you are happy about your newest boy! I do love my little guy and after hanging with a sassy little girl this weekend, I started to wonder if maybe being a mom of only boys would be better :D

momamia - you're not out yet!

I think stuffy nose is a sign of pregnancy! And is your throat dry because you're thirsty? Thirst was one of my earliest pregnancy symptoms with my DS. When do you plan to test?

It should be Lauren.

I am starving you guys. Like I could seriously eat my left foot. Also, (fx) I am not breaking out right now which I normally do at this point before AF. It's so hard not to symptom spot!!! I just keep telling myself that everything is because of the clomid. :sigh: I am out of Walmart cheapies now so I'm going to wait until Thursday to test again like I promised DH. If I don't start spotting tomorrow, I'll have an idea though. I usually start spotting a few days before AF. Honestly, the fact that I haven't started spotting already is kind of getting my hopes up. I started spotting on 11dpo the last 4 cycles. :fx:

We're sway twins. Glad your here!
Im 39, 4 boys.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I ovulate twice each month in that I release 2 eggs. U/S has verified, so they gave me femera cause its less likely to twin. 3 of my babies (all my boys) were twins that had a vanishing twin (and one was triplets, the last one) so if I ever do get a pregnancy that sticks I will be very happy--2 embies are better than one, better chance of one of them sticking! Some months there are 3, I have noticed this more as I get older. I would love twins, that would be a dream since I am so OLD now (lol) but I couldn't hold them when I was 20 so I don't see how I could at 38! There were def 2 eggs this month, one around midnight and another from the other side around 11 am. So we will see...maybe all my mcs are cause it's always been old sperm/cut offs and now with fresh sperm it could be sticky? IDK...so frustrating.

DH will still kill me if I get a bfp this month! But, it puts an end to the on and off again....!

Question. I am just getting over pneumonia (finished my antibiotics a week ago but still feeling crummy). Do you think that will kill chances?

And moreover, do you think that amoxicillen can damage your eggs? I ovulated later this month than normal--ooh, it was actually day 14 for a change, its usually 11 or 12-- I figured cause I was sick. Maybe my eggs will suck this month?

The fertility clinic said my eggs were crappy 4 months ago so they put me on an egg strengthening regime that I have been on for 4 months, I wonder if it worked yet?

:fx:

Sweetlily- My Dr. told me that when I went on antibiotics for being sick, my chances for getting pregnant decreased because the body tends to focus on getting you better and doesn't really want you to get pregnant in those circumstances- I don't however think it affects the egg quality. I do think that 4 months would be long enough to see an improvement in egg quality though but I don't know for sure.

Morning all. Well had a terrible sleep last night of course. Took my temp early at nearly 5am (was 36.4) as my nose decided to start blocking up. Took temp again at 5.45 and was 36.3 after over half an hour of mouth breathing. So I've used the 5.00am temp hence the clear circle. Now yesterday morning same thing took temp around 5.00am and was 36.1 and then again just b4 6am and was 36.2 so originally I used the 6am temp to keep circles solid but have it back now to the 5am one. Should you always go with your first temp? I tried to using the closest to 6am temps but sometimes thats meant I've been rolling around in bed, on my phone etc for up to an hour. If I don't use the 5am temps from yesterday and today my chart only shows a 0.1 degree temp rise. But if I should use the temps closer to 6 I'll change it. What do you think two? Use the times to keep circles solid or stick with first temps taken even though they were taken earlier?http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/07/14/cd2421e5208057640a1fd1820b2e9d69.jpg

I scheduled an appt with my RE for tomorrow at 11:45am. I'm assuming he's going to do blood work and give me another Rx for clomid. He told me last month that he was going to be increasing it this next month, so we'll see if he actually sticks with that. Hopefully I'll know in a day or two what's going on.

I would use the first ones, tbh. I think a solid sleep is more important. Although I personally found my temps did not change for up to an hour after waking and getting my kiddos breakfast and me some coffee. I temped vaginally and I think my body needed to be up for a while before getting higher.

I used to be so paranoid about EXACT time temping. I was convinced it was way off if it wasn't at exactly 5:30. Then I figured out its not much of a difference for me (everyone is different.) it's still frustrating though - I completely understand!

Sorry to hear Magical and Momamia :(.

So I have a bit of a dilemma and could use some opinions. I'm supposed to be ovulating this weekend so DH and I just had sex for fun this past Sunday (unprotected) as I figured it was far enough away to affect our one attempt near o. Well it's looking like I'm going to ovulate early! I've been getting a lot of watery cm the last 3 days and My opk was an almost positive line this morning so I suspect a positive one by tonight or tomorrow morning..
I did use RePhresh on Monday in case that would help my cause lol.
So question is: if I get a positive opk tonight or tomorrow.. Should I bd tomorrow night as my one attempt or is that too risky sway wise and in that case just hope our non attempt on Sunday was good enough?
If I should attempt at positive opk - should I use an antihistamine or jump and dump?
When I say "should I" I mean, what would you do lol ;)
Thanks in advance for any feedback!

The answer to that is dependant on the situation. You always want to use the one closer to your normal temp time if you can... here comes the BIG BUT ;) Over and above the temp closest to time, you want to use the most accurate (just waking, not moving around, etc.).

Here is a scenario for you. If you have 2 temps and say one is at 3 am and one is at 6 am. You took your temp at both times. The 3 am one was taken upon just waking, preferably after 3 hours of sleep but I personally have not found that less sleep necessarily disturbs a temp... up to a point that is, it maybe knocks it off by a couple 100ths of a degree but it is the 10ths of a degree that make a big impact. Your 6 am temp is your normal temp time, but you either couldn't get back to sleep or you weren't asleep very long at all... and maybe your mouth was open to aggravate matters even worse. In this scenario, the 3 am temps if over an above the most accurate of the 2.

Scenario #2: Lets use the same times and same info for the 3 am temp but this time you take your second temp at 6 or much closer to 6. This time you were able to get back to sleep pretty quick, and to throw a kink in the chain then lets say your mouth was open. This one is tricky, because of the mouth being open BUT I would likely still trust the 6 am temp.

In either case always make note of both temps for later reference. So, all that explained, in your case... I agree with using the 5 am temp in both cases. 45-60 mins just isn't long enough span of sleep.... esp if your mouth was open for the second temp.

There is a method. I don't generally use it because, for me, it only makes my chart more confusing, not less and I have sleep issues so nearly every temp I take is affected by either not enough sleep, like this morning, waking too early or too late, etc. I'll explain it but I'll do so AFTER cautioning you to consider the impact on your chart. Personally I'd rather disturb a temp than adjust it but that is a decision you'll have to make for yourself. The author of Taking Charge of Your Fertility (i.e. the #1 book detailing the mechanics, process, rules, etc. associated with charting) has a method of temp adjustment. Essentially it involves adjusting your temp (there is a link to do this if you don't want to figure it out for yourself on FF under the "data" tab at the top) by so much based on how off the temp was taken time wise. According to this method you can adjust a temp taken up to 2 hours from your usual temp time. To do this you would either add or subtract 0.1 degrees (add if taken too early, subtract if taken too late) for every 1/2 hour of time discrepancy. I am used to Fahrenheit so I'll use that for my examples... If your normal temp time is 6 o'clock and you took your temp at 5 am and it was 97.73 you would add 0.2 degrees making your new temp 97.93 (as you can see this makes a HUGE impact... which is why I am not a fan of it). If your temp was taken at 7 am and is 97.84 you would subtract 0.2 making your new temp 97.64. Again, it is up to you, but I strongly caution you.

Do you remember what the situation was that made CD 6 a clear circle?

Personally I have always started testing at 10 DPO.. or sooner, lol, and often gotten a + then (shorter LP... might make a difference). BUT I am a POAS addict and a bit of a POAS pusher, lol ;) If you have cheapy tests or lots of tests I day go for 10 DPO but I know those FRER boogers can add up quick so if you only have a few I'd probably wait until at least 11 DPO just to give your body a little extra time for the HCG to rise.

With an unprotected BD that close in time to what could turn to a +OPK I'd likely make a last minute switch to E4D until after O is confirmed. An attempt at +OPK would likely result in 2 attempts in your fertile window. A BD on Sunday would mean you'd be due to BD again on Thursday... so it may not even come to that as you may O before then but it'll cover your bases in case you O later than you expect! I suspect if your OPK isn't + yet that you'll likely need the BD on Thursday to get a solid attempt in. How long do you generally surge before you O? Going off basic math if you get a +opk tonight... Lets just say 9 pm for arguments sake lol. If you O 36 hours later that would put you O'ing (bare with me as I am bad with #s lol) around 9 am Thursday morning. Obviously, a later +OPK would give you more time. I can't advise on the RePhresh as I've been advised against using it so I don't know enough to give you an accurate suggestion.

Ok, here is what I see. Do with it what you will but I'd suggest waiting to see what tomorrow's temp looks like before taking any action. Including the temp for CD 6 puts your CL at 36.5 which means today's temp is below your CL. Ignoring your CD 6 temp puts your CL at 36.4 (this is all assuming what I am seeing includes the changes discussed with the multiple temps *IF* you plan to make them) which puts today's temp which puts today's temp right on the CL. I suspect that your temp was beginning to rise after O but you caught it before it had a chance to make a full shift. I believe tomorrow's temp will likely be high enough that CD 6's temp won't matter.

Twointow they were from a family/fertility Australian website. Over a period of 3 months I had only one positive out of 49 tests... by third month I was testing 3 x daily

I'd try another brand. Can you buy off ebay over there? Or you can check saveontests.com, I love their tests but they are a bit pricier... not by much but I am a penny pincher lol. Those tests gave me a super faint BFP a 8 DPO!! I couldn't believe it!

Does Celsius work differently? Your CD 6 temp is the highest in your last 6 temps at roughly 36.4. 36.4+0.1=36.5 CL. Ignoring your CD 6 temp your highest temp in the last 6 temps is roughly 36.3. 36.3+0.1=36.4 CL... that is unless Celsius works differently in which case I have no clue :giggle:

I see all the time others saying to drop the Rephresh and stuff first b4 changing other things. I am ignorant of the topic, I admit, but I never did understand how it'd work. Making things less hostile... ok I can get my head around that but that just seems like it'd kill everything... unless of course you are a teen girl who thinks douching is a form of BC... that'll get you preg then :giggle: ;) If it were me and you are seeing issues already, and if you have a solid sway going otherwise then I'd say drop it... but again, I know about as much about nuclear science as I do about rephresh and swaying lol. Yay Junie!!! I'd definately bd tonight! I felt so confident using the digitals was absolutely spot on last cycle (which I messed up) so hoping for same this cycle. I'll be hanging out to see your chart in two mornings time!! Are you charting? Probably shouldve asked that first lol

Junie I was using the cb dual which went from whole circle to flashing smiley then solid smiley. I know there's another cb digital that displays whole circle and solid smiley but I imagine they mean the exact same thing. Bd the day/night of solid smiley :) When are you using testing strip as confirmation.? Have they worked well for you in the past?

Pbn3- This is my first cycle using the digitals. It was a flashing smiley but I'm OK doing more attempts so I'll definitely do one today, and then wait for a solid smiley. I'm going to test with my cheapie OPKs now as well because I trust them and know when they are really really dark that I am ovulating.

Are you swaying for boy Junie? Only asking as multiple attempts. I thought for some reason you were swaying girl? I'm sorry if we've gone over this b4 there's just so many of us atm lol. I had flashing smileys for three days b4 solid last cycle and for 2 days this cycle b4 solid. Glad you can rely on your strips as well :) Be interesting to see how well they coincide with digitals :)

Pbn- I am swaying girl but I've been swaying for over a year (with breaks for getting pregnant, and after the miscarriage) and at this point my husband and I just want to get pregnant- I was actually due in a few weeks with the baby we miscarried, and that was really the spacing we wanted so now I'm adding attempts to speed things along.

Well, I ended up going to the wrong office for my RE appointment this morning. Then the guy that was parked next to me stalled his car as he was backing out and blocked me in my parking spot. So, I took those as signs that I am not supposed to keep ttc this cycle a secret from DH and I ended up telling him that I really want to try this cycle. He's all for it! He said he thought I wouldn't want to because of all the other stuff happening around the time I'll be due. I told him there's no guarantee that I'll even get pg this cycle and I'd rather not skip any months that we don't have to. So, we're going to go ahead and try this cycle. Hahaha, that's cute! Do you talk openly about trying to get preg around him (either to DH and he is nearby or like asking him what he'd think) or anything? Can't say that I have a story for that one lol. The closest thing I have is my neices saying "you're fat, Aunt Kristie!" (she was little, didn't know better) and I WASN'T Preggo! Lol. Got any pets? I do have a pet story ;) When I was preg with my first I was living with my Mom and Grandma (their idea, they wanted me to be able to be a stay at home mom until he was a year old and Hubby didn't care lol so we rented a room in their house) and my grandma had 2 dogs, little ones. They would follow her around like a shadow and didn't want anything to do with anyone else unless they couldn't find her. Well, all of a sudden the "puppy" of the 2 (they were both from the same litter and several years old but temperamentally he was was the "puppy" and his brother was "oscar the grouch" lol) started to come to me when I was sitting and he always laid his head on my belly. As soon as my son was born we quit though. It was quite a thing to see. I think kids and pets have like a sixth sense sometimes!

Laurenk1424

We ask him if he would like a sibling a lot and we have friends that are pregnant, so I'm sure it's just him being silly. The pet thing is totally true. My dog was all over me withDS. LOL intuition is crazy.

You guys im sad but not. This was the cycle that of i DID succeed, he or she would have been born so close to ds4... It left s bad taste in my mouth... That being said i would have done cartwheels if I got a bfp.
I feel I need to take two steps back and figure out how to maximize my Ttc efforts this coming cycle. Last month I Od much sooner after a pos opk, this month I had 2 pos opks, so I'm trying to figure out when I should make that attempt. Even if I do e4d which I may, I'll still be tempted to add that attempt, but not knowing when (12-36+ hrs after pos opk) that I o makes it hard to pinpoint.
I also am feeling the financial strain. I want to continue with Clomid until im out of Rx but $70 a month, plus the $30 im spending on opks and hpts adds up. What a habit this is! Hahah!
I have 6 opks and 5 hpts bc I poas a bunch of extra times this month when I shouldn't have.
I am thinking of not buying any new ones, I'll start testing opks at cd 16 but do e4d just in case... Idk im just talking this out at this point...

I get what you mean Hitme - when trying to do only one attempt it's hard to decide when is best to do it! Last month I had two days of positive opks but I dtd after first positive.. And then ff said I didn't ovulate until 3 days after that first positive! Though I think ff was a day off. It would be nice to have simple concrete answers lol.
For me, this morning I had a near positive opk.. But at 4:30pm it couldn't be more negative. I want to get a cb digital ovulation but they only sell them in packs of 20 for $70! So yeah, I'll stick with my BFP ones haha

Yes! I just tested again 7:30 pm my time and it was SLIGHTLY darker than this morning. So I'm thinking tomorrow or tomrrow night which means me and hubby will be sneaking out of the hotel room when the babies go to sleep. DH said he wanted to go drink some moon shine and listen to bluegrass music so maybe we can do that and park somewhere! OMG, I feel like I'm 17 again. Haha!! (We are not big drinkers, he just loves to drink moonshine when we go to Tennessee) one more disclaimer: I sound like such a hillbilly, "dranking moonshine", I'm from the south (Alabama) but I promise we aren't hillbillies!LOL

ANYWAY, I use the cheapy wondfos and when it looks positive to me I confirm it with a digital clear blue smiley. They are expensive (36$) but I only use 1-2 a month so they last forever!!! May be an ideas for some of you to save a little money. I think I'm taking back my reohresh since I didn't open that new box! That mess is pricey too!! We are dedicated y'all!!haha

I'm sorry Taytum and Hitme :( I'm hoping you both get you BFPs this cycle  :fx:

Momamia great news all round between your DH being eager to keep going - which makes things a helluva lot easier ;) and your RE appt I'm crossing everything for you!!

Taytum has your RE made an appt to see what your next step is? Sorry if I missed you saying already.

Hitme I don't think the every 4 days plus one attempt at opk is a bad idea. Personally if it was me I would BD the night of first positive opk and not do another opk as its only the first that counts and it's more stress to keep testing. This cycle was my first not to test because we weren't "trying" and it was less stress if I'm honest. Added stress in other ways but that was due to the oopsie and the panic after.

I'm willing BFPs for you mommas with all of my being :cheerteam:

Boysboys & Boyboygirl good luck to both of you :fx:

I'm really liking the digital OPKs with the flashing smiley and then permanent smiley for peak. My cheapie OPKs are only slightly darker although I'm getting a flashing smiley but my temps are confirming I'll definitely be ovulating in the next two days. So much less stressful then normal!

AF showed up this morning so I'm really out. Going to call my doctor today to see what next step is going to be - it sounds like low progesterone can be an easy fix, but is a common reason for m/c. So now I feel like I'll not be able to really be excited with a bfp but will worry. Hopefully though I'll get on some supplements before I even get a BFP.

Hopefully I'll be able to jump back on in a few weeks! Going to take a bit of a break, but I'll let you guys know the plan of action. Good luck!! [emoji7][emoji8]

This made me chuckle [emoji23]

What are your thoughts on B6? I think momamia pointed it toward me and im trying to learn what I can too.
I am not sure when to start and stop but it can be great to lengthen luteal phase. I'll post on general and see what I can learn.

Momamia - Great news about your RE appointment and so glad to hear your hubby is on board with TTC :)

True - No doubt about it, you are pregnant! Hope that bean is a sticky blue one!

Keep us posted on what your doctor says Taytum. Try not to worry, I know plenty of women who took progesterone and ended up with healthy pregnancies.

hitme - I've heard of some people having good luck with B6. I took it years ago to try to lengthen my LP and it really screwed up my cycles. Late ovulation and long cycles (one was 53 days) and it only extended my LP by one day. If you decide to go for it, I would start with a small amount.

So ladies, I have this really strange symptom the last few days. I have this sharp, ripping pain in my lower left abdomen. It's not constant but if I move too quickly or strain the area (especially when lifting DS but it happens even when I cough), it feels almost like a pulled uterus muscle. I'm guessing its not a sign of pregnancy, as it started at 5 DPO. Has anyone experienced this before? A friend thought it might be a cyst.

Hmm, it sounds A LOT like round ligament pain.. A LOT... but starting at 5 DPO I just don't know. Have you done anything that could have pulled a muscle or do you tend to get cysts?

YayBaby678
July 16th, 2015, 10:33 AM
Two - I thought of round ligament pain but I know at 5 DPO, implantation wouldn't have even happened yet, so I'm with you that I just don't think its the case. I don't think I've done anything to pull a muscle but with a VERY busy toddler who constantly wants to be picked up by his mama, its possible I suppose. I know that I had several small cysts when I became pregnant with my DS but I never had any pain from them. I just hope if it's a cyst, it doesn't mean anything bad for my fertility...

I had two positives this month too... AND I used rephresh after attempt (tiny bit.) I did what I said I wouldn't do and used a cheapie test this morning at 10dpo BFN. I'm trying not to get discouraged but I was really taking every little symptom as a sign lol. Ugh. I wonder when I actually ovulated... Maybe not even until after the second positive OPK.
I've been sick with a cold for a week so I haven't done any cardio... So now I'm feeling bad about my next sway month. Ugh.

YayBaby- :fx: that maybe it's just an exaggerated implantation thing... I honestly don't know, though. I have PCOS so I do get cysts but not when cycling regularly, for the most part. For me, they kinda cramp like bad O pains then when they rupture it's horrible... like ER level pain (but I don't go because I know what is going on and all they will do is rack up thousands in pricey tests then give me a pain killer). Never had them get worse from coughing or anything though.. they pretty much hurt the same no matter what I do.

Lauren- :fx: for you! 10 DPO is still early.. esp if you aren't 100% on when you O'd.

I am starting to question my O :( Yeah, I had a shift, but it's a pretty lousy one and BARELY over my CL. I STILL have EWCM and I am supposed to be 3 DPO and my cervix is still partially open. Usually after O my cervix slams shut like a bear trap. I can't test (OPK) just in case because my tests haven't arrived yet and the ones DH bought are gone. Plus DH and I DTD last night (today would have been the day were were supposed to if running on schedule) thinking I was positive I had O'd and now I'm not so sure. Maybe it's just a side effect of the clomid... but I am just not sure anymore. :worry::SS:

Two - Thanks, hopefully it is related to implantation! It's definitely not the kind of pain where I would need to go to the ER but it's just enough to be annoying. Based on your chart it definitely looks like you O'd but that is awfully strange that your still having fertile symptoms. I have had EWCM after O though, but usually it doesn't go past 1 DPO. At least you're not too far off from the point you can get in touch with your doctor again. Hopefully you get your BFP before that though! :)

I noticed that too lol. I'll be 11 dpo on CD 35 and my LP is only 11-12 days (with a rare 13 here and there) so if BFN on CD 35 I'll be calling my doc. I am supposed to call before I start my next round of Clomid anyway and CD 35 is on a Fri, I should start prob Sat. so I'd be CD 2 or 3 by monday and I am supposed to take it CD 3-7.

I have had fertile CM post O before but not for years (back when my hormones were seriously jacked up).

Yaybaby: Your chart looks really good! I have everything crossed for you! Also, the month I got my chemical I clearly remember this weird pulling/stretching/pinching pain. I hope that means great news for you!

Two: I also think you O'd. And to be honest, sometimes, I see more BFP with the smaller jumps because then it jumps up higher in a few days. I'm definitely no expert on Oing though - I've only done it 3 times since October. ;) I have everything crossed for you though and hopefully it becomes a little more clearer in the coming days. It's always easy to look back on your chart and see things, but in the moment it's so hard to tell.

I'm getting bumped up to 100mg of Clomid. I'll be buying some Mucinex as well, as we've already been using Preseed. We used it more like lube though, not the way the directions tell you to insert it, so maybe we'll be doing that this round. Thinking about how crappy Clomid made me feel I just want to roll around and cry about it BUT, if this is what gets me my BFP, then onward and upward! I am definitely going to attempt to relax more this cycle. I was just so anxious with to start Clomid, plus we were gone on vacation during O, drinking a lot and had a UTI so it didn't seem like a good month. Going to relax and focus on my new job and hope that helps. BUT, if I hear one more person tell me to relax who isn't struggling TTC, I am going to lose my sh*t and go 2009 Britney Spears on them. Shaved head, umbrella and all.

Thanks two, that makes me feel A LOT better :D I know I shouldn't stress about timing, especially because I've been doing the diet and I was sick, which atomic thinks might help my sway. And I honestly think a lot of the charts on FF don't appear to have O pinpointed correctly, so who knows how accurate that analysis is.

Well it sounds like you've got a good plan in place for the rest of the month. FX you get that BFP and don't have to worry about next month!

Thanks Taytum, I didn't realize those kinds of pains were a pregnancy symptom so hopefully its a good sign. It sounds like you've got a good plan in place too. Should the increase in Clomid help with the progesterone or do you have to supplement that too?

Yes, FX for you they are a good sign! [emoji4] I think that's the hope - to increase my progesterone. I think on the chance of a bfp and progesterone is still low she'll then give supplements. I don't think it will do much to help before a BFP, but hopefully the 100mg is all I need!

Uh... you could try... but it'd be a pricey experiment if you used them for more than a day or 2 before preg test... and unless you were BFP bound you wouldn't even be able to answer that question at the end of the experiment. That is why I like the cheapies, the only digi I have ever used was a preg digi. I honestly don't know though. If I had to hazard a guess I'd probably say that you probably wouldn't even get a flashing smiley until about when you'd get a faint BFP, because they are made to not jump the gun based on small fluctuations and that is what you are watching for with the OPKs.. watching to see if it gets darker each day (make sure not to compare a wet test to a dry one!!). Perhaps if you are able to take the digi apart and look at the test strip inside? But I honestly don't know  I'd be interested to know if you happen to try it out and are preggo though!!

Hahaha I've got just the four sticks leftover from last couple months so I might use from 8 dpo thru to 11dpo regardless of whether I get bfp or not - just as an experiment. Me and dh have decided we'll try for only one more cycle if this cycle is a bust. This ttc has taken over our lives as its been in the planning for the last six months, feels like we are standing still and unable to move in any direction. I definately cant do more than one more cycle on this diet either :). So if its meant to be it will be otherwise I will look forward to focusing on my boys and getting on with my life. I know I haven't been giving them my full attention or dh so its not fair on them to keep on doing so.

But I am desperate for a BFP for so many reasons lol the one at the top of my list this cycle is I can get through at least the first month before I start school (tired and nauseous not exactly conducive to studying lol). oh yes the days are crawling alright! Can't believe its only 3dpo lol. Makes you want to go to sleep and wake up in 5 days time :)
I would love it if we both got bfps!! How awesome would that be!! Was just thinking it sucks we're in different time zones and cant test at same time :)

I know!!!! If only that would work  No can't test at the same time, I just can't hold it that long :giggle: but you have the upper hand ;) when you wake up and test you can also check and see if I updated. I have to wait like a million years, hahahaha, just kidding ;)

BTW I have a second edit up there, lol, looks like you were typing as I was editing :D

This is only my 2nd attempt two just been in the planning for sooo long. Never thought it would take such a toll. I'm really hoping you get your bfp especially after your previous loss. You deserve this so much! I know 3 months isn't really a realistic outlook (especially since my boys were 4 & 6 months) to get pregnant in but its what we're working with :( I'm fine about it atm, can't say how I'll be if no go this or next cycle.

I am kinda working with the same timeline. I am on clomid to O earlier (yeah that didn't work!) and improve egg quality to try to prevent another loss (she had Trisomy 22, a duplication of chromosome 22 which is incompatible with life, and DH and I have both been tested and it isn't a genetic defect, so we are hoping improving egg quality will help prevent a repeat)as well as to, hopefully, help me get preg sooner. I read a post on here that says after 3 cycles the chances of getting preg on clomid starts to go way down (special circumstances 2 post) and while I could ditch the clomid and O on my own, it is my only method of improving egg quality so I want to get preg within that 3 cycle window. So, realistic or not, I totally get it. If you don't mind me asking, after the 3 months, if no BFP, are you going to be NTNP or TTA?

No Twointow we will stop trying altogether. This may sound weird as I know there is absolutely no guarantee with swaying but I'd rather know I've done what I consider all I can to ttc girl (even if I was to fall with boy) than add attempts go off diet etc and end up conceiving boy. Hope this makes sense. Guess I'm saying I could be totally ok with a boy as long as I've tried my best for a girl....

Tick tock tick tock! Why can't there be a test that shows whether the egg was caught or not lol! Only 3dpo and going nuts already. Mentally trying to decide if I could stay team green or not and I don't even know if I'll even get a bfp! Actually went looking for a pencil to do the pencil test (just to see if it would swing the right amount of times) and out of the 100 pencils I looked at not one of them had an eraser! Cant even pass the time with amusing theories lol. Onto something productive and folding laundry

Haha! And the waiting doesn't get any better when you are preg! When I was preg with DD I was itching to find out boy or girl (I am not a big fan of preg anyway, it doesn't feel safe to me, so it was easier to focus on something else... and I just plain wanted to know lol). The symptom spotting doesn't stop either. I was convinced that my lack of morning sickness was a sign she was a girl.. which turned out to be true, but I think it had more to do with the fact that she was sick and it wasn't a strong preg than anything. Anyway, my point is even once we get preg we are still going to be waiting and analyzing everything for clues. I have one thing to my benefit, given my losses they want to do a verifi test at 12 weeks, assuming a singleton preg since they won't do it for twins+, so I'll likely know gender around 13'ish weeks but that is still a long time to wait. Then there is the wait to feel baby move, the wait for the point of viability, etc. Pregnancy is a big long 2WW haha ;) The 40WW :giggle: Though buying lots of cute baby stuff does take the edge off ;)

You're so right lol! One long wait! Please pardon my ignorance but what is a verifi test? Hope thats not an insensitive question its not intended to be. And how many scans do you get where you are? We get one at 7, 12/13, and 20 weeks as the norm. With ds2 I went private and got to see him every appointment, just a quick look each appointment!

Not insensitive at all. A verifi test is a blood test. They take a sample of the mom's blood and look for the baby's DNA in it. It tests for things like Down's and such. Here is the website if you want to know more: verifiŽ Prenatal Test by Progenity | Progenity (http://progenity.com/verifi-prenatal-test-progenity)

It varies by doc and by how many your insurance will pay for. I haven't been considered low risk in a long time so I am not 100% what the norm is. With my first I had 3 early on. 1 at ER where I found out I was preg... thought I had food poisoning lol, then 2 more because they refused to believe I wasn't 10 weeks along (irregular cycles) no matter how many times I told them. I wasn't even charting back then, just intuition I guess. Anyway, I got one and they "couldn't find" him so I had another a couple weeks later after blood tests confirmed that I was still preg and my levels were tripling every other day (thus blowing their idea of a problem out of the water). I had another at about 20'ish weeks (gender u/s) and another late in preg.. so 4 total if I remember correctly, but I know some ppl don't even get that many. With my second I only had 2, one early on and the 20 week gender u/s where we discovered he had passed. Since then I get them frequently. With my 3rd I had one each month until I was 12 weeks, 2 around 20 weeks (1 regular/3D at my OB's and 1 3D at my high risk specialists office) and 3(2 reg and 1 3D), I think, towards the end of preg, for a total of 8 if I am remembering correctly. With my 4th I had one at about 6 weeks at my high risk specialists office and one at 7w 6d where we learned she had stopped growing, but they had planned to do many more. They (high risk specialists) said they wanted to do another at 12 weeks, 16 weeks, 21 weeks and then another around 35 weeks... all in addition to what my regular OB would have done. So, I am kinda spoiled in the u/s dept, which is a good thing once we find the heart beat and I can relax and enjoy seeing my little bean.

In Australia it's called the harmony or NIPT test, can be down at 10+3 and you will have results back by 12 weeks

Thanks for the link two I'll go in and have a look. I'm so sorry about your losses. I remember with ds1 my local doc couldn't find hb with doppler at around 10 weeks?? I went to the hospital and waited for an hour before I got checked and he was all good just in a bad position for picking up hb took about another 10 mins or so to find though and I held it together until I got back to work then started full on sobbing in front of my lovely co-workers, spit runny nose the lot was a mess. I really thought for that hour and a half that I'd lost my baby and I'll never ever forget that feeling. I was so very lucky and I feel a very real empathy for those who were not lucky and have to live with that feeling :(

Thanks Magical! Is this a new thing? dh was actually looking at some blood test thing online the other night and I bet this is what it was. He was also looking at downs/age stats. I got abit mad at him and said I didn't want to talk about that yet!! Let's just focus on getting pregnant first!

Been around for about 7 years, it's getting more popular now, because it's not as expensive as it use to be. Yes it checks for downs etc, and can tell you 100% gender before 12 weeks. I'm going to get it done but I'm over 30 so it's recommended.
