Well I just did another test a full 14 hours after this mornings and its a flat out bfn. No hint of a line nothing, so I'm having a glass of wine (my reason for taking the test before tomorrow morning) and coming to the realization that I'm not gonna fall this month lol sob! And I know its too early to count myself out but combined with my awful weird as chart things are not looking good. On a weird scientific research result though I used my cb dual digital 5 & 6 dpo with stark white results so stopped doing. However this arvy (9dpo) I decided I had to poas and used my 2nd last opk and this was the result?? I know! it makes it even harder!! Will they do a blood test first before starting you on clomid again just in case? Or does it not affect anything?

I honestly have no idea! I didn't even think of that! I may go ahead and call today and see what they say, because if they want to run bloodwork that will take most of the day to get results back... maybe even all day since I wouldn't be able to get the blood draw until 11 at the earliest, then they have to have time to talk to the doc and figure out the clomid situation (if negative) before close tomorrow. Thanks for asking because I could have been up a creek without a paddle if I called tomorrow and they wanted to run BW!

So, no luck getting back to sleep :( Laid there for an hour trying and couldn't. It is so stupid. I sit up, turn on the light, etc. and I am "Yawny McYawnerson" but lay down and I am WIDE awake. Only thing I can figure is it is an anxiety thing. Going back to sleep so I can test again, means testing again (duh! lol) and I can't shut my brain up about the stupid test. So... I am going to *try* to just do a hold for 3 more hours (which won't be easy because I already have to go... gotta love progesterone- it makes my bladder hyper active) and test then. I have about 1.5 hours until I can call the OB and find out if they want to run BW. I am kinda hoping they do... end the great debate lol. PLUS then I don't have to suffer through the rest of the hold cause I have a feeling I am gonna be pretty miserable by the time they open and I'll still have another 1.5 hours to hold at that point. But we shall see...

I agree, one OPK means nothing. But remember it is still early, so your BFP may be just around the corner.

Do you have to wait very long in Australia? I know different country, different rules/procedures, so I was curious.

With my last preg I had to have an "emergency" blood test. I called on Monday (11DPO) after getting super, super faint BFPs (the kind that make you feel like you are seeing things) and I was scheduled for surgery the NEXT DAY lol. I went in as soon as the opened practically but didn't get my result until almost the end of the day, at which point I had to call and cancel the surgery (nothing major. my wrist is jacked up and the surgery was to fix it... still haven't gotten it lol). So, I know they will run blood if you aren't sure and need to know but I just don't know if they will want to in this instance.

One more hour... 26370. I am trying to do the hold in increments so it doesn't (hopefully) feel as long. I took a shower... and nearly lost all my progress to this point. I nearly went out of habit :oops: but I caught myself :) I am REALLY hoping they want to do BW, lol. Debate wise I am only saving myself a day or so because if I'm not preg I should start sometime, most likely Saturday (though last month I had a 13 day LP... unusual but it happens occasionally). At the moment all I am thinking is if they do the BW I can GO, and get some relief. I don't know how women do this on a regular basis!? Granted, I go frequently pretty much all the time but the 2WW is like a temporary residential relocation to the bathroom lol... at least for me.

You took the words right out of my mouth, lol. I posted a second set of pics because I didn't know if I was the crazy lady imagining things, lol. Thing is that pic was taken nearly an hour after I took the test so I don't know if it is an evap or if it was just a little easier to see it after it dried because it was so faint :shrug:

I think there are 3-4 of us currently in testing mode. I'd love for us ALL to get our BFPs but I agree... this board can't be all dried up of BFPs already. What about you, sweetlily or Sage? Have you tested yet today???

I couldn't do it, but if you only have one left and can hold out I would say to hold off. 11 DPO is a good day for an accurate answer, but 12 DPO is even better!

ETA: Duh! You are still waiting for 10 DPO lol. This time difference messes me up. You are a calendar day ahead of me but several hours behind me DPO wise lol. Messes with my head :giggle:

Oh and if this really is my BFP it couldn't have worked out more perfect!! As far as DH knows my test this morning was negative. He is easy pray for a surprise :giggle: Wanna get it confirmed though first. I am not sure *I* believe it and I can't bear the thought of reeling him into excitement only to turn around and say "Oh, guess it wasn't a BFP after all".

Esp considering I have to get a solid BFP ASAP! I want to surprise hubby, like I said, and I JUST realized that if I am not out there busting my hump, like usual, working on the yard this weekend he WILL know something is up... CRAAAAAAP! And we can't just blow it off because right now the area we have to work in is marked off with caution tape because of safety issues that need to be dealt with before some kid gets hurt. Hopefully tomorrow's test will be more definitive.

Yes, one. Waiting overnight means waiting all day tomorrow because he goes to work at 5 am and doesn't get off until 7pm. The first test I took is completely dry now and apparently the "damage" I thought I did is only apparent when taken apart. The line is still faint on it but easier to see than test 2 at this point for some reason.. prob because the second was only a 3 hr hold. If I tell him tonight... with a warning then I can feel free to show him the test in the morning with no surprises ruined and hopefully a more convincing result. I am a very impatient lady ;) Can you tell?

Probably not :( He has alarms that start going off at 3:30 am but he doesn't actually get up until like 15-20 mins before he has to be at work. He throws clothes and his boots on grabs a pack of poptarts and is out the door 95% of the time. Every once in a blue moon if I am up and make him breakfast he'll "wake up" to eat, but he isn't really awake, lol. He is awake enough to chew and that is about it lol. I tried to show him the test this morning, but he barely glanced at it because he was in a hurry as usual, and he just asked "well?" as in "so are you?". I'd hate for the surprise to be rushed like that :/ That isn't really a surprise... it's how we have done it every time I have gotten preg... I just showed him the test. Nothing fun about it at all... exciting yes, but not exactly what I am going for, kwim?

Not only is it great news in its own right but it means, assuming mine is legit (which the more I think about it the more I begin to believe it because, as I told DH when testing for my last preg, I have never had a line that didn't turn into a preg... other than maybe a couple evaps and these look like they have color!) then we get to be DD buddies!! I have been running through ideas all day. I thought about going to the local screen printing place but called and it is a 3 day turn around... I'll NEVER be able to wait that long, esp considering it'll actually be 4 days because of Sunday! I thought about going with Lauren's suggestion of writing it on a plate and having him discover it when he is done... BUT I love him to death but he isn't the most observant man in the world lol. So I am going with my original idea. I already called the restaurant (we tend to go to a certain place on Thursdays if we have the $$ so no red flags there for hubby) and talked to the owner's wife (who knows hubby from when he used to work on their water softener) and have it all set up. I have the van so when hubby calls to say he is off I am going to pop over there (it is on the way) and drop off a baby bottle. When we get there hubby will order his drink BUT they will be bringing it to him in the bottle!! I am going to be "playing" on my phone, or so he will think (just gotta convince him to sit at a table instead of a booth like we usually do) and then I can record his reaction! I can't wait to see how he reacts and see how long it takes him to put 2 and 2 together. Since he knows her he might think she is playing a joke on him which would make it even more fun! I may share the video here so you all can see his reaction to if it is a good one ;) Good as in worth seeing. I know he'll be happy, that isn't even a question.

I havent tested and don't think I will but my AF is due today
I am 14 DPO (admitingly I did test about 10DPO at 4pm when my pee was diluted and looked pretty clear and the result was negative as expected) so no testing since then

Been feeling the pressure down below which is quite normal for this time of mths

Definitely not upset as it gives me another few weeks on the diet before the next ovulation
Definitely stuffed the diet in the last few days feels like I have eaten the whole house hehe another reason why I feel my AF is coming

well this afternoons test was still bfn, may have had to much fluid today though to mean much. So tomorrow morning at 11dpo I'll test with frer and cb digital and that'll be it for me then as my lt phase is normally 13 days. Won't test after tomorrow unless af doesn't come :)

I am having a heck of a time posting this.. this is round 3 of typing it all out only to have it freeze when I go to add the images.

If it is even possible, the test was lighter today which makes no sense because I only had 2 tiny sips after 9 last night, went pee the last time at 11 pm then didn't test until after 4 so everything should have been REALLY concentrated. I'll post a pic but it is a squinter... if you don't look really hard it looks like a BFN. I don't even know if I should mark it as a BFP in FF (what would you do? I didn't mark yesterday's yet either). This was my last FRER and all my other tests (OPK included) are coming up stark white (pic attached). I am really bummed. I was hoping for a darker test today and got a lighter on instead. This is all feeling WAY too much like my preg with DD and that scares me. My symptoms are the same, same issue getting a solid BFP, etc. I always blamed the weak HPTs on the fact that she was sick and it wasn't a strong pregnancy... basically doomed from conception. So, having this issue now is worrisome :sad: With my boys I never had issues getting strong BFPs I got really strong tests really early. Sorry, I don't mean to whine... just super bummed.

well this afternoons test was still bfn, may have had to much fluid today though to mean much. So tomorrow morning at 11dpo I'll test with frer and cb digital and that'll be it for me then as my lt phase is normally 13 days. Won't test after tomorrow unless af doesn't come :)

I havent tested and don't think I will but my AF is due today
I am 14 DPO (admitingly I did test about 10DPO at 4pm when my pee was diluted and looked pretty clear and the result was negative as expected) so no testing since then

Been feeling the pressure down below which is quite normal for this time of mths

Definitely not upset as it gives me another few weeks on the diet before the next ovulation
Definitely stuffed the diet in the last few days feels like I have eaten the whole house hehe another reason why I feel my AF is coming

Twointow can you get some cheap tests and start using them in a few days when you'd be 14dpo? Give little bean in there a chance to produce some good hcg levels. Because of your history this will be very stressful for you and I don't know what else to suggest. Maybe not testing would stress you out more. I know I am prob sounding like a drama queen because, as you said, it has only been 24 hours. I am trying hard to focus on the fact that my temp went up AGAIN- by a lot (98.57 from 98.4... nearly a 0.2 jump)- this morning and 9 times out of 10 if AF was coming my temp would crash today. Just having issues "claiming", so to speak, my BFP. Like I said, I still haven't decided whether to mark them as BFPs in FF and that is the easy part lol.

As far as testing, I honestly don't know which way would stress me more, but I know I'll never make it to 14 DPO without testing again. I'll be 14 DPO on Monday, which is when I am supposed to call about bloodwork if no AF. I *might* be able to convince myself to skip testing tomorrow... but it is unlikely lol. Chances are I'll be hitting walmart again today to get another pack of FRERs.

I am 11 DPO today. Kinda weird but you are 10 hours ahead of me time-wise (it is Friday morning here) and, for all intents and purposes, 10 hours behind me DPO-wise. And yes, Monday is when I'll be calling the doc if AF is a no-show.

Hang in there Two! I had all sorts of drama when testing with DS2! See I felt pregnant but couldn't get a true positive like you until I was 21 DPO! I couldn't predict when AF was due because I had a miscarriage the month before!

Well no cross hairs from FF this morning; guess I should check a OPK again today to see what is going on. I'm sure I will know more with tomorrow mornings temp; If it stays up I'm pretty sure I O'd already and if it drops I guess I have some more BD to plan:)

Tfahn- I'm pretty sure you O'd. Your temps are in post O range, and you had a positive on CD14. Personally I think you ovulated on CD16. Once FF see three high temps it adds cross hairs so you should have them on Sunday I bet!

I hope I O'd on day 16, they had the best # of BD attempts in so fingers crossed. I just worry since in the past for me O day was always in the temp range of 97.5ish and that was CD 14, CD 16 was like 97.74, so I think that is why I was expecting cross hairs today.

Well both tests negative so I guess I'm moving into August :(. Also could feel my usual cramping/back ache last night that normally comes a couple days b4 af. Beginning to think I'm nuts trying for a 3rd bub but I know thats sleep deprivation because I get all positive again as soon as ds2 allows me a decent sleep.

I agree with momamia, it is much more likely you popped a second egg... or even that what you felt is pain from a still swollen ovary that you didn't O from. It sounds crazy to think of a human egg hatching but they really do. An embryo can't implant until it hatches and it takes about 5-6 days for it to hatch, so implantation can't happen before then.

I am freaking out so scared of being pregnant especially on the first mth of trying
Periods should have really started yesterday or I would think today but I decided to test. And really feel like a can see a faint line but surely by now if I was pregnant it would have to be a more distinct line

Dreamingpink, sometimes pregnancy tests won't show a clear positive until 21dpo. That is something that I have had a problem with for all of my pregnancies. I have also had a light period with 2 of them. If it's really bothering you, I'd suggest calling your doctor and requesting a blood test. FX!!! :)

I dont mean to rehash over this but I'm feeling so confused?? Is a lh surge 10dpo normal for anyone here? I keep reading mixed opinions on getting a pos opk that long after ovulation and b4 af due. Unfortunately it really got my hopes up when I seen that flashing smiley but surely a hpt is far more likely to indicate possibility of pregnancy than an opk. I know I'm grasping at straws here lol but has anyone NOT gotten a bfp on an frer by 11dpo? I bought more AGAIN lol (dh thinks I'm nuts) so I can test tomorrow and monday (which would be the morning of spotting that night or full af by Tuesday).

I can't say that I blame you though. I do the same thing every month. And then after af shows up, I over analyze everything we did that could have possible been wrong and give us the bfn result. It's really frustrating and stress inducing! :(

I know EXACTLY how you feel PBN3! Of course waiting it out would be easiest but what if you are one of those one in a thousand woman where XYZ happens but you are actually pregnant? I think those of us who have been trying a few cycles can definitely relate. I would just test every morning, you never know and maybe it will help no matter what the outcome. I've got everything crossed for you!

Only way to get BW before Monday is to go to the ER and this isn't an emergency :( Called and talked to DH just before he clocked in and he wants me to go back to sleep and test again.... trying to but hard to sleep when your brain is playing 20 questions, trying to make sense of it :(

Tfahn my guess is if you get another temp tomorrow in the range of the two previous days FF will move your O date to CD16.

You could do what I do and pop in tomorrow's temp at the same as today and see what happens :) you can delete it again once you see ;)

Tfahn- Well you can't change anything now- but remember FF doesn't actually KNOW anything. It just makes educated guesses :) So maybe you O'd on CD 14 or CD15 or CD16 temps aren't accurate predictors of exactly when you O'd although they can confirm that you did in fact ovulate. I would try very hard not to worry- you still got multiple attempts in (that was my BDing pattern for both boys :D )

I dont mean to rehash over this but I'm feeling so confused?? Is a lh surge 10dpo normal for anyone here? I keep reading mixed opinions on getting a pos opk that long after ovulation and b4 af due. Unfortunately it really got my hopes up when I seen that flashing smiley but surely a hpt is far more likely to indicate possibility of pregnancy than an opk. I know I'm grasping at straws here lol but has anyone NOT gotten a bfp on an frer by 11dpo? I bought more AGAIN lol (dh thinks I'm nuts) so I can test tomorrow and monday (which would be the morning of spotting that night or full af by Tuesday).
Just popping in to say that yes some months I would get a LH surge at 9 DPO and then AF would come a few days later. It happen at least 3 times. Those were months that I wasn't TTC.

Ill look when I get to my PC but its possible. Pic was taken in time frame of second test, so 4 hours after the FMU was taken.

Just trying to decide whether to bother testing tomorrow.

I think I see what you are seeing but I think it is an evap. These are all dried tests so they aren't pretty, but these are the FMU tests from 10 DPO-today.

I am in absolute shock that it happened first mths and of 1 attempt
My first boy was first mth too but dtd 4 or 5 days in a row, second boy on mth 4 but with multiple attempts too
I am actually kind of scared and not that excited as I really didn't not expect it and maybe even hoping it was going to take me longer and allow me to be on the diet longer which mind u wasn't a strict one:(

I was scared to test and I didn't until I thought something wasn't right with my missed period
I am already wishing my symptoms would be different to my other two pregnancies. With both boys I had easy going pregnancies not much to complain about .

Hi two! I snuck in a test this morning and was bfn still at 12dpo I have one frer left which I'm going to save as I think af will be here right on time - by tomorrow night/Tuesday morning. IF it hasn't come by Tuesday morning I'll test again but I've basically lost all hope for this cycle and am looking at August now. Forgot my thermometer so couldn't even take temp lol (we went for overnight visit - home now). Looking forward to tomorrows temp as if its 36.3 or lower I reckon that will seal the bfn deal. I almost wish she would come early lol so I can move on :)

Do you think your doc will order blood tests for you tomorrow? Surely they will?! Sorry just reread your above post. Can you maybe insist on having bloodwork done? What's the worst they can say? I hope they are super understanding and do something for you straight away.

Tfahn this is a tricky one! Could be cd14 or cd16 that you oed. Did you not notice any cm at all around this time as that can be a good indicator when there's 2 temp rises? Also did you happen to record anywhere your other opk tests or did you stop testing as soon as you got first positive?

Big temp rise this morning so I am pretty certain i O'd on CD 14 as the big temp rises for me usually fall around 5-6 DPO. I only had one positive OPK this cycle which is odd, I did still test after the one positive and never got another one. Had one almost positive on cd13 and then the positive one on cd14 then it started to fade out. Didn't notice CM this cycle so much but did use preseed on 3 attempts, they are marked as the # on the note line, but not sure how many of those attempts were in the fertile window now.

Same here. Another BFN and my preg symptoms are dissipating (not completely gone but much less noticable) so I am guessing it was a chemical pregnancy as the faint positives followed by BFNs seem to fit the bill from what I have read. Only thing is online it says you don't get preg symptoms with a chem preg so who knows. If AF doesn't show by tomorrow I believe they will esp once I remind them I had faint positives, but honestly at this point I have lost all hope for this cycle and just waiting for AF, and I agree, wish she'd just show already so we both can move on. Dont think it will be today for me though. Temps are trending downward but havent gotten my usual pre-AF crash yet. Ill attach a pic in case you are on your phone. (((Hugs))) for your BFN. I was really hoping this was your cycle.

I'd hold off. Anything before 10 DPO is unlikely to be a BFP... not impossible but unlikely. 10 DPO is usually when BFPs start popping up. :fx:

Given your OPK timing, I'd go with the first shift. I know you didn't get in as many attempts as you'd like to have but you still have 2 attempts in the fertile window... possibly even 3 depending on what time you actually O'd. :fx: for you!

Also I'm feeling kind of in shock. Will definitely wait to tell DH until period is actually late. His parents are watching our kids overnight this Friday and I want to tell him then but it will be hard to keep it a secret. I'm scared because of the miscarriage in January but feeling so thankful that we finally got pregnant again!!!! Praying so hard that it sticks and is healthy and honestly don't care at all if it is a boy. I know a part of me will be sad that I will probably never have a girl but no part of me will be sad to get to add another adorable boy to our family :) :) I feel so blessed to have you all.
