Pbn no problem here is my chart :) I didn't get an implantation dip. I believe there is no such thing. The dip ppl often refer to as an implantation dip is actually a secondary estrogen surge. It occurs in both pregnant and non-pregnancy charts by it is more common in pregnancy charts. I didn't have one this cycle but have in the past.

I'm 9 DPO today and not really having any symptoms at this point (besides that weird pulled muscle feeling which I'm not sure means anything). I did have a tiny bit of spotting yesterday evening though and I'm not normally one to have spotting between O and AF. Hoping that's a good sign.

Magical - Good luck next week! Hopefully they can give you some answers. Can I ask what endo symptoms you have? My first doctor years ago mentioned that he thought I might have but never did a lap or anything. I'm just curious what other people experience with it.

Yes, nice BIG jump! As of this morning my other signs are going infertile too. My CM is 99% sticky with 1% leftover EW stretchy stuff and CP is low, firm, closed. So ALL my signs are finally in agreement that I O'd :D

Usually 10 or 11 days. So this would be much shorter than normal for me if it is AF. But usually IB isn't red blood, right?

I know right!!! I actually took my temp after an hour and a half of being up and was different at 36.2 so I have to assume its working. This is a reasonably new therm as a few months ago same thing happened and I thought it was broken so I bought this one I use now. Weird hey?

Very! The upside is the odds of a triphasic chart is way up there. Down side is a triphasic chart doesn't necessarily mean anything for sure, lol.

I find it even more strange as I've had my room set to the same heating every night for at least the last month so my sleeping environment is neither warmer or cooler so I thought for sure there would be at least a minor shift???

Pretty good. My temp shot up to 98.28 F from yesterday's 97.8. Unfortunately, since I am only 4DPO it's too early for to mean anything at all... not even a maybe lol.

I often flatline on my temps :D I assume for me it's down to using a 1/10 therm rather than a 1/100 which would vary a lot more.

I can see that. I switched back to a .00 therm because I am so used to it that I felt like I wasn't getting the whole story. Like my last few temps before O... they would have been flatline if I'd still been using the .0 thermometer.

Do you use a .0 or a .00 thermometer PBN?

It makes more sense now! Your temps could be varying but a .0 therm rounds up or down. If you are using a .0 thermometer then it makes total sense! Hopefully tomorrow's temp will be different.

I know the first week of the 2ww is the worst part because you can't test, you can't over analyze symptoms. ... you just get to watch the clock tick. Pooey! Maybe you are coming down with something?!

Technically I am waiting to test.... but not for a few days. I am planning to start testing at 8 or 9 DPO and I am currently only 4 DPO. And how the time is crawling :(

My chart is always in my siggie but I know you can't see it on Tapatalk- here it is. I think I O'd yesterday and am now 1DPO but I was also drinking yesterday which always raises my temps a bit so I will have to see tomorrow's temp to be sure. We won't be able to BD again anyway though so this will have to be enough!

Just jumping in to say that don't count yourself out until AF shows. With my DS2, I couldn't get a positive on any HPT until I was 21DPO!! My cycle may have been all walked from the chemical I had the month prior to conceiving him. I stopped charting because we were going to be out of town for a week for a wedding :/. I would have loved to know when I Oed for sure. I had an early scan with him and was told an approximate O date.

Ugh! I was in your position last cycle! It took a lot of restraint to watch O come and go and not attempt, but I just kept repeating in my head "It's better for baby". Hopefully the rest of this cycle will go quickly for you so you can get back in the game. :hug2: for your loss.

People do get BFPs at 10 DPO but honestly it is still kinda early. I think you have a good plan in place. :fx: for you!

O-1 is fantastic timing! It gives sperm a chance to "wake up", so to speak, and get moving. O-1 is perfect!

Oh wow... that's not good. Was your stomach empty when you took it? Things get absorbed quicker if your tummy is empty... That's not to say it didn't get absorbed though. If you think about a pain killer, it takes about 20-30 mins for it to kick in and to kick in it has to be absorbed. :fx: that it absorbed before you got sick!

And it is Sat, so you can't call your doc... Have you tried calling the pharmacy and asking questions? They should be able to answer questions about affectiveness if one pill wasn't absorbed, how long it takes to be absorbed, etc.

No symptoms it's just very common in my family and since I'm not getting pregnant it's just a gutt feeling. I fell straight away after a d&c last time after a year of trying.

It'd be better than me, lol. I OPK tested this morning. I have convinced myself that it is for the "sake of science" :rofl: A scientific result that can't be duplicated is useless. So I had this 30 second inner dialogue where my inner :poas: told my brain that if I don't test and end up being preg (hoping beyond hope but not holding my breath, lol) then I will have squandered a perfect opportunity... for science, of course *wink*:rofl:

I think you should keep testing - in yhe name of science it could be considered your duty lol!!
On a totally different note I am having waves of nausea :( I came good yesterday after having something to eat and sipping water. This is much stronger and I've already eaten and had heaps of water today.

Sounds like you are coming down with something.... I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure 5 DPO is too early for symptoms. I have had a couple waves of nausea also but I blame a combo of the effects of clomid and an already sensitive stomach. :fingers: I am wrong and it is a symptom :bigsmile:

I know 3 months of TTC isn't that long though so I'll see how I feel as I get closer to O. Anything is possible, but in my non-medical opinion I don't think so. A 10 day LP is on the low side of normal. :hug2: Sorry about AF and good luck this cycle. :fingers: for you!

Ok, so as I see it you have 2 options. 1: Wait tomorrow out and test at 14 DPO if AF doesn't show, thus saving a test if AF does show. 2: Test tomorrow. 13 DPO is a fair bet of an accurate result (I won't say definitely accurate because some women just take longer for it to show in their urine) and if BFN you could brace yourself for AF. Personally, I am a tester so if it were me I'd go with #2, but it is really up to you. :fx: for you!!

I never even think of that as an option lol. I swear I have a bladder the size of a grape lol. Even if I cut off all fluids well in advance I can never make it that long. Half the time I can't even make it all night, lol.

So, here is idea of a topic to pass the time for those of us that remain and are still waiting (and anyone still hanging back).

Have any of you thought of how you plan to tell you SO if you get a BFP? For those of you who got yours, how did you tell SO?

I have never been able to creatively surprise DH. With my first we both found out at the ER when I thought I was suffering from food poisoning. With my second we had been TTC so long that when I finally got the BFP I raced to his work, hunted him down and showed him the test. With my 3rd and 4th he was there when I tested and wanted to know the verdict. This time I might be able to pull off a surprise. I am thinking maybe go out to dinner, coordinated in advance and have them bring his drink in a baby bottle or something like that... I am not really sure.

Do/did you all have any plans?

I LOVE that idea!!! Unfortunately I can't be that creative lol, DH drinks nothing but "polar pops" (gas station fountains) lol except at a restaurant obviously, which is why I was thinking that was the way to go. I can't decide which would be better though... bring his drink in a baby bottle and make him think about it for a sec, or I have seen online ppl who put a preg test in a baby bottle... I can't decide, and I am not 100% that that is for sure what I m going to do... just an idea.

Can't do the work thing because we keep it quiet, only a select few get to know... prob even less this time with 2 losses under our belt. And I am too impatient to wait on the post office lol. So... I just got around to putting today's temp into my second chart. Now my charts disagree on O-day. What do you all think? The FF chart says O happened around time of OPK but my other chart says I O'd just before the second shift and dry up... I WANT FF to be right, but I think the other might be right, so I need some unbiased opinions, if ya'll don't mind to weigh in.

My concern is I quit testing so I don't know if there could have been a second surge... also that it took 4 days for my signs to shift to infertile... that is why I am leaning toward my second chart, but I want FF to be right because otherwise I am only 3DPO which would really SUCK lol. Hahaha! I know what you mean. I have been cramping like crazy all day today. It's hard to tell myself it's too early for symptoms too because my last preg the non-stop headache/migraine that I had pretty much the entire time I was preg hit at 7 DPO and what is a day really? Haha, logically I know 1 day might as well be a week when it comes to early pregnancy because you can have no symptoms, BFN, etc. one day and the very next have it all lol BUT it is still hard to not think "what is ONE day?!" :giggle:

:fx: for you tomorrow, but I will say the absolute earliest I have ever gotten a BFP was 8 DPO so try not to read to much into it if you get BFNs over the next 2-3 days or so.

He asked where its supposed to be and I told him I wouldn't say just to point if/where he sees anything. He pointed right to where I was looking but has calmed me down by saying he thinks its just where maybe the chemical line or whatever it is that activates and that would be what we are seeing not an actual line as such - love his logic he's so good at keeping me grounded!! Needless to say I can't wait to see what the next few days brings. Going to use an opk next wee just for scientific research hahaha :)

Haha! Gotta support the sciences ;) Did the line have any color? The FRER I used with my last preg was like that for the first test... I thought I was seeing things so I called DH and and told him the exact same thing- that if he saw anything to point to where he saw it and sure enough he did. That test was tough to see though! I took it apart and everything trying to see if I was imagining it... let me see if I have a pic....

Which isn't horrible or anything but it would be nice to get to the 2ww faster, lol! Luckily, this cycle we're going on vacation right after I O (we leave on cd18). I'm hoping that the relaxing will help with implanting. :D

Duh! I am confusing myself lol.

Uh... yes but pretty light and not willing to get my hopes up just yet... the key is it getting darker each day and 1 day does not a pattern make...

I took one at 6am when I got up to take my temp then went back to sleep and hubby was nice enough to let me sleep in so I took the second when I woke up again.

Historically, I've had a significantly easier time ttc than her. It put a real strain on our relationship. I'm hoping that doesn't happen again. That's why I've been trying to be upfront with her about our ttc. I'm hoping that it will help her not be so caught off guard when/if we get a bfp.

There is a natural flux of LH. I tested to see if it'd be stark white on 5 DPO but did so mid day, without holding it for awhile. So until I see the tests getting darker I won't believe it is anything of value because holding your urine for several hours concentrates everything and LH is no exception. SAME boat here. My sister struggle for 3 years and one miscarriage to get her DD. She had another miscarriage a few months ago BUT praise the Lord she just got a BFP!!! Speaking as a former infertile (it lingers with you always) I think you are doing the best thing you can do in regards to your sister. Being blindsided by a BFP for someone close to you when you have been trying so hard feels like a stab in the gut. Don't get me wrong... I was always happy for them but it was rough seeing them have what I wanted so bad.. green eyed monster syndrome. But I was blindsided each and every time.. I think it would have made a big difference if I'd had a heads up, KWIM? So being honest about it is the best thing you can do.

We just had an attempt. I swear he freaking got nothing in there and pulled in and out all weird!!! I'm going to KILL him!hahahaha I made him go get me a mirror and there was tons of white right at the entrance!!! THIS IS SO ROMANTIC. Me with my feet up in the air, legs spread with a mirror... More probably made it then you realize... esp if it is spilling out.

It is just something, a theory I came across a long time ago and tested out myself last preg. The theory is based on the premise that LH and HCG are identical twins but that HCG went and had a nose job, so to speak. OPKs test for the twin and HPTs test for the nose job. The theory is that LH tests will recognize HCG in the urine just as it would detect LH and that the test line will get darker as HCG levels rise. An HPT will give you a positive before you get a positive OPK, so the OPKs don't replace HPTs, they are just a way to kinda feed the POAS monster and get something of potential use in the process. Just like with O, a second line on an OPK does not mean you are preg. Just like with O the second line has to be as dark or darker than the test line to be +, and as I said you'll likely get a BFP before a +OPK to detect pregnancy.

Wow this thread is moving so fast I can't keep up.

Booked in for a lap tomorrow to check tubes and remove any possible endo or scar tissue. Hopefully it all goes well. I'm taking my clomid cd3 today so hopefully it a week and a half we can try and make a baby with super clean super sticky insides [emoji5]️

Pbn3- I definitely see a 2nd line! I think in 1-2 days there will be no questions that it is a positive and not an evap!

Twointow- Based off of your temps I would agree with FF's O date.

Regarding OPKs I would caution everyone that you can get dark almost positive OPKs even right before AF ( I have in the past). If it is just fun for you- go for it! But I would hate for people to feel more disappointment because they thought a darker OPK meant they were pregnant. I prefer cheapie HPTs for testing early to get the testing bug out of my system :)

AFM- I had another high temp and definitely O'd. Now I just have to try not to symptom spot. It shouldn't be too hard, there have been lots of cycles where I was -sure- I was pregnant, had tons of symptoms, etc only to get BFN and have AF show up! So I just have to remember that for the next week until I can test LOL.

Pbn!!! I totally see it and it's pink!! I have used so many FRER over the last few months and when they were negative they were stark white even hours later, I'm sad enough to wait hours and desperate enough at that point to dismantle them :D

Two is it opk's you are doing? I tried that too and got nothing. Even when FRER were + the opk's were barely there. Anything to POAS. But they're not a reliable indicator.

I just wanted to share/express my feeling as I feel I don't have anyone I a can talk to about this

Tell me I am not the only one but it feels like a lot of the girls have a fear of testing to get a BFN where as I have the biggest fear of testing in case I get a BFP I don't know maybe because this is only my first mths trying and I haven't really been on the diet the recommended amount so I feel that if I get a positive it will for sure be a boy and then I am done :( :( no more opportunity to sway no more opportunity to have more kids

I feel like I am imagining symptoms and I don't know whether it's because I am so scared of being pregnant
I am sure that once you are trying for few months you are eager to test and be excited to see a positive
But I am really really freaking out and scared
I am 10DPO

I can't believe you're 10dpo and haven't tested :) You may be freaking out over nothing or you may just get that bfp! Either way once you know I'm sure you'll have some closure as such. Two and Junie - I'm glad you guys think my LP of 10 days is enough to get pregnant. 3 months of BFNs is starting to get discouraging though. Anyone know of any ways I can at least attempt to lengthen my LP a bit without hurting my sway? Maybe I'll ask that question in another thread to see if atomic can weigh in...

Pbn - I haven't decided yet how much I'm going to change my sway. Honestly, from O-AF I really suck at the diet. So I'm going to try to get back on track. Last cycle my sway only consisted of a crappy attempt at the diet (as I'm already too thin), BDing every 4 days so we had one attempt, hot baths for both DH and I before BD, DH wearing tighty whities, and some of the negative ion stuff (although I don't think I really believe in that stuff but its an easy thing to add to a sway). So at this point we're going to definitely cut out the hot baths and tighty whities. I haven't decided if we're going to switch to every 3 days at this point or wait it out another month.

Two - I'm thinking FF is right on your O day. I can't imagine you would O that many days after your first positive, as the other chart is showing. But who knows! I definitely wouldn't count yourself out if you get a BFN when FF thinks you should test.

Pbn - I definitely see a line! Can't wait to see your test from today :)

Thing is, even atomic will tell you that even with a perfect sway there are no guarantees. So whether you get preg now or 6 months from now you could still end up with an opposite. Hubby and I want a girl so bad I can "taste it" but aren't willing to wait to TTC because we'd be okay with another boy. If it is causing you this much anxiety maybe if you get a BFN/AF you could sit a cycle out and give your sway more time to work, but even that is no guarantee. :hug2:

Um... either I am preggo or clomid strikes again with weird symptoms. To explain I must warn this will likely be TMI. Ok, so DH and I DTD yesterday. He withdrew as I didn't feel like dealing with the mess, lol. So, it surprised me some when I noticed a huge wet spot on my undies but I figured it was just arousal fluids and such so I just changed my undies and went on my merry way. I saw it again several times yesterday, prompting me to check my CM which was a creamy/sticky mix... not something that should be making puddles in my undies. So I just kept contributing it to DTD in the AM. Well, now it is today and I STILL have it. This is why I have to wear panty liners when preg because otherwise I am changing my undies constantly.

Then again, clomid has caused some pretty strange symptoms for me this cycle so it could just be clomid's fault...

ETA: Preg discharge is unique for me. Regular CM can create wet spots during my fertile period but they are usually minor. Preg discharge, and the discharge I am having now creates a big wet spot that is obvious from sensation alone, not to mention visual. Just wanted to clarify what I was talking about.

I'm not sure with this one now, I think there could be the fairest shadow but I'm not sure AAAAA!!

I got a stark white negative at 7dpo - not even a hint of an indent line, nothing, then the faintest BFP at 8dpo so it can happen.
I used my CB digital at 9dpo but agree it would be best if you wait until 10dpo :)

Make that vote #3 for waiting for 10 DPO for the digi. If you really feel the need to pee on something you could always get a cheapie from the store (here in the states walmart has tests for like 88 cents, not sure about Ausie but surely you could find a cheapy somewhere) to use either tomorrow or the next day to you can save your digi for at least 10 DPO.

hahaha! mmmm chops!! I love making chunky steak pies - whether guinness or beef and mushroom but it takes so long to slow cook lol. I still do most of the LE diet things. I don't have breakfast until I'm up for at least two hours- I just don't feel hungry like I used to! I eat meat but just a little with my veggies or complex carb. I have 1-2 small snacks a day, this is different, but I allow myself to eat a tiny amount of whatever I'm craving. I don't think I'll have a hard time going back to it full force.

I can't believe how much protein I used to eat! I don't usually eat junk both while swaying or pregnant. Crazy, huh? And I'm 21 weeks!!

NOT me! Technically I am supposed to be on a high protein diet and had been for 2 years before starting the LE. My nutritionist would crap bricks if he knew I am eating the way I am!! I miss my red meat!!

I definitely agree with this and think it's not worth the heartache. Some women get an LH surge right before AF I've read and therefore get a positive or almost positive OPK. This has happened to me at least two times when I was NOT pregnant, including this cycle. I took an OPK (it's all I had) at 12dpo and it was super dark (just slightly less dark than the control). AF showed up the next day! HPTs were all negative (Wondfro and FRER).

Hey we gotta pass the time some how lol :giggle: The way I see it, if you have the tests and seeing a BFN isn't gonna gut you then pee away lol. I buy in bulk for a reason :giggle: gotta feed the POAS monster ;)
