I don't know. I have no cramping but haven't for days. All I have had the last few days is a backache. I had one sharp pain on right side earlier today but only lasted about 30 secs. After so much cramping on Clomid this cycle is weird. I'd think that 2 follicles would mean MORE cramping, not less. Lol. All I know is TMI but it's killing me being stuck at school because my libido is through the roof![emoji7] [emoji12] [emoji1] [emoji131]

Lauren- I think about that too but after 30 minutes or so, they're wherever they're going to be.

Any ladies in the 2ww and having any symptoms? I'm breaking out which is a sure sign of af but I'm also not gassy and bloated like normal with af so I'm going to remain optimistic. I can't believe af isn't due until Monday. It seems like a lifetime from now.

Yes, I'll test on Monday probably if no af. Last month I broke my no testing early rule and it was depressing. I usually try to wait until af is a few days late because I've had a chemical before and that sucked. I really hope this is it. Boys swayers are supposed to get pregnant fast with everything we're doing to increase fertility. I've been eating avocados almost every day for months! Plus all the supplements and other nutritious foods.

Sorry, missed this post earlier. That is a personal decision. You can J&D or you can lay there as long as possible to make sure your 1 attempt counts as much as humanly possible. J&D is pinker though.

Today is going to be interesting, lol. I am in FAR too goo of a mood, lol. My head hurts, I'm sleep deprived and I have an exam today and yet I can't wipe the smile off my face :D Things are too good right now. Quinn - I've felt that exact thing the past year with my boy sway. Of course, I left it slack this month, but at this point I don't care if that bean is blue, pink or otherwise as long as it sticks!

Two - I'm jealous of your libido - I've been so frustrated with TTC that it's kind of just baby making lol. Hopefully that's a good sign though and enjoy the time without cramps; if it will be anything like my last O was it was PAINFUL!

Pbn~ mine was a squinter for like 2 days at 11 & 12 dpo.... You could barely see it & def didn't show up on a photo... The cb digi didn't show up preggo til like 13 dpo.... I think it's amazing that your already seeing a line!!! Can you see it pretty clear?

Sorry the line wasn't darker pbn but as the others said, it's still really early! good luck!

I did test this morning with very concentrated looking fmu. I think i can see a super super faint line but maybe its just a shadow? It won't show up in a photo so i didn't take one. Will probably try again tomorrow.. so much for waiting until the weekend!

Just a question about FRER BFNs, if you shine a light from the back can you see the test line shadow?

Taytum- what did your O pains feel like this month? Mine hurt so bad like my cervix was contracting. This is gross but it felt like my insides would fall out which is how I felt during contractions.

Lately my libido has been in the crapper too. Just feels too scheduled and routine... feels like a chore. But I don't know if it's hormones, excitement at prospects or the freedom to do what we want when we want but my engine has been in high gear all freaking day! Imagine focusing with that! AND I must have had a "look" because a male friend of mine who sits next to me in my first class kept looking at me like he was trying to figure something out. In a typical class if he isn't talking to me, I'm not talking to him or I am not speaking to the prof, he might look my direction once or twice but today he looked at me AT LEAST half a dozen times so all I can figure is I wasn't hiding my distraction well, lol. Then I get hubby from work and I am sooooooo ready to jump him and the MIL was STILL here and not ready to go home. He is taking her home now. It was like "woman, I love ya, but GO HOME!!" :rofl: The kids are still up so we wouldn't have been able to do anything anyway, so it's not her fault but I am like climbing the walls over here lol.

I'm not getting my usual cramps but I do have an intensifying backache. I looked it up and apparently ovulation can cause a backache too. Who knew :shrug: I took some tylenol so it's a bit better now though. Took another OPK when I got home and it's another dark'ish but neg one.

Also, after talking to atomic I'm feeling like there might still be some hope of getting our girl if we get our twins. I also looked online at odds and there is a 33% chance of BB twins, 33% change of BG twins and a 33% chance of GG twins... so a 66% chance of at least one girl :cheer: Go :pinksperm: Go!!!!!

I'll keep my FX for you!!!! I get preg the first cycle TTC after our loss but I think the damage was too great/ lining to thin to sustain it.... but it took me months to heal. So, hopefully that "beginner's luck" finds favor with you too and gives you a sticky bean!!

Twins run on my Dad's side of the family (and if my mom didn't give birth to me you wouldn't know she was my mom because genetically speaking I am WAY more like my dad.. been tested in case you are wondering lol) and my Mom had and lost a set of twins but they were conceived using injectables. So, LONG ago we talked about the possibility and were both okay with it. Me more than him, but it has grown on him. But we HONESTLY never expected to actually have a shot at them!! I know they will be a handful but with two high functioning autistic children, and once that had brain surgery at age 2 and continues to have developmental delays, I've NEVER had it easy lol. It will take some adjustment learning to nurse, chancge, bathe, etc 2 instead of one but I'm up for the challenge :D Though I know the idea makes most wet their pants :giggle: Now.. trips or more... THAT'S scary to me. I only have 2 arms and there are only 2 parents... we'd be outnumbered by newborns lol. And since 1 egg can split into 2 babies it's possible :nails: But lets hope not, k? K! :giggle:

I am being monitored with blood tests etc though, and if my numbers shoot up crazy then I will also have a scan.
I kind of just stumbled upon it. I am doing a tracked cycle with my Dr this month and I told the receptionist that I wanted to try the Clomid as I didn't know when I would be ovulating as everything was 'messed up' from the miscarriage. So she wrote out the script and took it into the Dr (who had another patient with her at the time) for her to sign and 'voila' now I have it!
I do not want twins, so I am thinking of asking for a scan no matter what my numbers look like :)

I am being monitored with blood tests etc though, and if my numbers shoot up crazy then I will also have a scan.
I kind of just stumbled upon it. I am doing a tracked cycle with my Dr this month and I told the receptionist that I wanted to try the Clomid as I didn't know when I would be ovulating as everything was 'messed up' from the miscarriage. So she wrote out the script and took it into the Dr (who had another patient with her at the time) for her to sign and 'voila' now I have it!
I do not want twins, so I am thinking of asking for a scan no matter what my numbers look like :)

Another negative opk. Im starting to wonder if I already O. The test i did Monday morning (cd13) was the closest i had to a decent line even though negative. maybe it was the LH on the way out. Still seeing ewcm but also creamy. Ive had alot of af cramps too whilst moderate are never usually this persistent till after O. I guess more waiting 😢😰😵

Hi everyone! New here and joining the 2ww - congrats to all the ladies who have gotten their BFPs and hoping that BFPs are getting closer to those of us who are still waiting!

I'm at 6-7DPO I think. I don't temp but was doing OPKs and got my first solid smiley on 9/3 which just so happened to fit my e4d schedule perfectly. I'm trying to sway for a girl. So we DTD, and I put a pillow under my hips for like 15 mins and then got up. I don't expect to get a BFP this month bc it's our first try, BUT I'll be damned if my mind isn't playing tricks on me and I'm over-analyzing symptoms!

A quick q: if I'm doing spinning classes during the 2ww, could that affect or impair implantation? I just had my class today and I couldn't for the life of me keep up and had to slow down. It was really weird but I'm probably tired bc I had insane dreams last night and didn't sleep very well. Have another class scheduled for Saturday. Should I skip it? Thanks!!!

Welcome! I've always been told that if you're used to it then just keep doing it to the degree of comfort. Personally, though, I am crazy paranoid about preg or possibly being preg, due to my losses so I am pretty careful about EVERYTHING lol. I think you'll be ok but if you are really worried then missing a week until you know for sure won't make you flabby or anything, lol.

Ok, clomid... Are most of you on it for ovulation or swaying??
I have only taken it in the past for fertility issues (conceived DS1). I was going to get a referral to a specialist to try to get it again for swawing and stupid long cycles but then I got pregnant. I misscarried but last time I saw my dr I wasn't up to pursuing the referral again so I'm just trying on my own.
If it was easier to get I would be using it already!

Purple- i know i turn my tests which way and that, shine lights on them etc as far as i know if there is a line it'll be there. Ive never had a shadow before and i check my tests pretty thoroughly 😂😂

Yeah I do that too and have never seen anything before. I wish I kept my BFNs from March, I'm sure they were stark white. I don't want to get my hopes up yet but it is really hard not to!

Thanks Two and Pbn!!! I think just to be on the safe side I should skip a couple classes. I've been doing 4 times a week since June to get my cardio in but I'm getting muscle-y (and gaining weight bc of the muscle) so maybe I need to tone it down a bit anyway - worried it might sway blue. Plus I don't want to shake loose any sticky beans!

Good idea to cut back if your gaining muscle mass pretty sure that does sway blue so at least you've got a great excuse to have some time off from it lol!

I'll test again in the morning about 13 hours or so from now not that I'm counting :) I've been mentally preparing myself for bfn all day so I wont feel so crushed if it is. Anyone using or has used ovuplan scope? Searching best prices on opks (not much variety and limited time to search tmro post night shift) and they are selling the scope for $30 which is $3 more than the first response kit and reusable. Clearblue digi are $40 for ten and the first response are $27 for 7. Waiting on my cheapies to arrive still.

I had read how to use the ovuplan looks a little more complicated than opks and im worrying about accuracy. Knowing my luck id double up anyway lol

Netti I looked into it ages ago prior to actually ttc. Like you I read good and bad reviews and I thought trying to read patterns would be more stressful and difficult than standard opks. If you had a few months to use it for comparison month to month maybe it'd be worth it but I wouldn't now that you are actually ttc iykwim :) I have found the cb dual digi's really accurate - even though I questioned my o day because of lack of temp rise it gave me a solid smiley the day of o and previous cycles has been spot on the day b4 o. I just love that it takes any time variance out of the equation and you use once a day with fmu (you can test more once smiley flashing). And of course I love being able to pee on something by cd7 lol :)

Typically get a few days of light lines then solid then usually nothing the next day. Ive O cd17 and cd16 going by my last 2 cycles using opks. Im at cd16 now and i usually see something on the opk but its just a very faint squinter of a line thats why im thinking every 2nd day incase i have already O. Im totally testing late next week if no positive opk 😂😂

I'd keep testing everyday for at least the next three days Netti just in case. It's very possible you oed early too, I oed cd15 last cycle (the latest I ever have!) and cd11 this cycle. Either that or revert to the e4d for the next week just to cover yourself :)

I am swaying boy. Everyone gets so nervous but IUI swaying boy but I'm proof you can still get a girl. I had read the book Inconceivable and was doing a lot of what she did and she had a girl as well. I had a pretty low protein diet and I was eating only fruit in the morning. I'm not sure why, that's just what she did.

Good luck. I'm only 9dpo and I can't help but look towards next month. Dh is not willing to get fertility help this time and won't try for more than a year so hopefully it happens naturally.

I have come home and looked at my test again and can't really see anything now. I think it was probably just the indent line which apparently can show on frers. Actually I am a little nervous about the # of attempts. In the past, when we have gotten lots of attempts in and "drowned the egg" as I call it, those where BFN cycles. I worry we might have BD'd too much and depleted his count. But I am a worry wart so pay no attention to me, lol. I can't wait to see if there is any affect on the 2nd half of my chart from popping 2 eggs. I've always been curious if it'd make an impact. You can look at twin/multiple charts on FF but have no way of knowing if they were from one egg or more.

Yes! They are so darn awkward. I mean I can see how maybe the might be beneficial to mid-******ers, but I'm a PIAC'er and they are awkward. The test line is in a weird spot. They are awkward... that pretty much sums up every non-shadow/line issue I have with them.

DH on Sertraline
Hey guys! My DH is on 100mg of Sertraline. Not for anything serious. He has a stressful job and overbearing boss. We concieved DS2 first month after about 3 months of him being on this medicine. I did a little Google research and there seems to be a good bit about this medication decreasing fertility.

Do any of you have any experience on this medicine or advice for us? I know you can find anything when googling so how much truth is there to this??He had a sperm analysis about 3 1/2 years ago and his numbers were well above average. I know we will give it a couple more months before getting an analysis (he hates it) and he really wants to get off the medication anyway. He HATES being on medicine but at the same time he is very scared to get off of it.

Pbn, I'm not sure when to test or if I should let it ride and see if AF doesn't show up, which should be around the 18th. Since stabilizing after coming off BC, I've been having 35 and 39 day cycles alternating every month. This month's was a 39.

Honestly I'm scared to test bc I'm almost certain it won't happen since it's our first TTC round. I'm expecting to get AF and then keep working on my sway. Mr JB is convinced I'm knocked up because he thinks this is all very simple... And his brother got his wife pregnant in one try, so it's a bit of a silly man competition lol!

I would make an appointment to have more betas drawn in two days (I'm not sure when the one that was a 24 was drawn). Beta HCG levels at this point double every two days.

24 hcg and 42 progesterone was yesterday at 10dpo. The 4 was back in February when I had my chemical and the 26 progesterone was in July. Lol...she was the nurse, not my actual doctor!

Lauren, this happens to me too. I'll get a positive and then a stronger one the next day (or so it seems that way). I usually end up Oing a few hours after that. If you're content with your attempt yesterday I would stick with it. You can always wait and see what tomorrow brings! :)

Lauren, this happens to me too. I'll get a positive and then a stronger one the next day (or so it seems that way). I usually end up Oing a few hours after that. If you're content with your attempt yesterday I would stick with it. You can always wait and see what tomorrow brings! :)

Yes! I hear atomic once say something like whether the LH surge is whispering or shouting it's still heard. So how strong the positive is doesn't matter, you count the first one. So yes you could ovulate today and your attempt is great!

No, light tests at 9dpo DOES NOT mean chemical and no it shouldn't be "darkening up". the numberr one factor in the darkness of a pregnancy test is gestation and the difference between 7 and 9 days is meaningless. 7 days and 9 weeks, yes you'd see a difference in that time but in one day?? Doesn't work that way. YOu're actually lucky to even GET pos pg tests 9 dpo. The second fctor is the concentration of your urine and it is very likely your urine was just more concentrated the first test day and not the second.

It can of course be a chemical, just that the lightness of the test doesn't mean that. Personally, I strongly urge you guys not to test on 7-9 days past ovulation becuase it does nothing other than stress people out.

Yep and it doesn't have to be a huge spike or anything. In saying that even if you get a spike you wont get crosshairs (ff puts in your chart to show day of o) until you have 3 or 4 days of temps over your calculated coverline or close to. Post a pic of your chart in the morning so we can take a look :)

It's definitely dark enough to post! í*½í¸Š I guess it is a little darker, I just figured it would be really dark considering that yesterday's was with more diluted urine and about a 2 1/2 hr hold.

The only sure way I can think of at the moment (took WAY too many herbs in my time to remember what each does but maybe someone else will remember/know) is Clomid... I'm not counting you out yet though!!

Vitex lengthened my cycle so I stopped taking it, but it's also meant to sway pink.

Pbn- saved you for last as I wanted to see all your posts/updates before responding. Here is my take on your situation... think I've said it before, not sure though.

Each brand has it's advertised sensitivity level... FRER is 25 I believe. Which means they are manufactured to detect the hormone AT LEAST that early. Many are more sensitive than their advertised sensitvity, for example I got BFPs with my DD when my hormones were less than 13 (2 days before they were tested at 13) BUT... and it's a BIG BUT. Test sensitivities vary below that advertised mark. So one test may give you a BFP with an HCG of 13, but the same brand may give you a lighter test the next day because the test is less sensitive than the prior one. At 7-9DPO my bet would be that THIS accounts for your differences and I don't believe it's a chemical at this point. I am not fortune teller so I can't say what tomorrow will bring, but at this point I am still optimistic for you.

Also, With my DD I thought my lines were never going to get darker... I kept waiting and waiting but it seemed like an eternity before I had a noticeable difference.... and after being tested, my HCG levels were doubling better than expected.

Don't count yourself out yet hun. The fact that you got a BFP so early is a miracle!! It's also STILL very early. The boat may rock, but don't let it throw you overboard ;)

I don't know how you all OPK and not chart. It would drive me batty not being sure when O was, lol. But that is just me, lol. Have you had any more spotting since you posted that spotting had stopped? 9 DPO is PRIME IB timing! Not trying to falsely elevate you hopes... because I don't know that that is what it is. Just trying to equal it out I suppose :) You can be concerned AF is coming AND hopeful it's IB at the same time. It really CAN go either way. I have my :fingers: for you!!

Ok, so paranoia alert, lol. As I posted this AM, my whole abdomen was cramping. That lasted about an hour. My right side went back to normal very quickly, while my left side continued to ache until about 2 hours ago. So, I don't know if my right side just O'd quickly and it took longer for the left or if my right side didn't O at all. I know I shouldn't read so much into cramping but I've always been able to pinpoint O, to a degree, with O pain. The kicker is, and I mentioned it to the US tech and she said it looked good, my right follicle kinda looked weird with an irregular border. So, my wonderful brain is feeding me this story that I only O'd on one side and it's freaking me out because of all the attempts we added in hopes of twins. Gahhhh! Sometimes I hate the way my brain works. Seriously considering a drink to shut it up but I know it's only a temp fix. *sigh* I guess at least we have the best possible odds of catching the egg... even if it's only one :/

To the ladies waiting on O - best of luck!! I am eagerly and a little enviously following along :)

We are considering ourselves to be out this month unfortunately as I have a work seminar next week and will be away pretty much all week. We are still doing e4d until I have to leave on Sunday but our last attempt was late last night and I don't know if we will have a chance at all on Sunday before I leave! I will be due to O on Mon or Tue which are CD20 and 21. I spoke to my GP about getting Clomid, he doesn't know it would be for swaying purposes so he is having my Day 21 bloods taken next week. I have all the paperwork and he organised for it to be done at another practice as I won't be near enough to go to him. I am completely clueless about all of this but hoping someone here might have an idea - as my cycles are somewhat irregular and I usually don't O until CD21 is it possible that the test might come back that I am not ovulating? Since I will be ovulating only the day or possibly the day before the blood work is done? I asked my GP what course of action would be next and he said he wouldn't like to give me a RX for Clomid in case of hyper stimulation but we can talk more after the results come back.

LP is generally 12ish days though, can't be too sure since I won't use OPKs but going by CM that's what I think it is. I think maybe he will ask me to get another test if that one isn't showing O, I'm sure he will want to see some kind of rise in progesterone. Right? DH thinks the day 21 bw is pointless for me as I 99% sure won't have Oed by then - but then as I said my cycle is all over the place so it IS possible. Have O cramps since Monday but usually feel the first cramps about a week before O so I reckon I won't actually release the egg til next Monday! My progesterone levels will be non existent!

Atomic responded to my thread. She said the the anti-anxiety med DH is on (due to high stress job, nothing crazy!lol) can decrease fertilty BUT people concieve on it. She also said with him being on it so long it may sway girl. Not going to lie, kinda bummed to have that added worry but we will see what the next couple of months bring and go from there.

A follicle greater then 17 mm (mine were over 20) are supposedly for sure going to O.
If 2 release, I supposedly have up to a 15% chance of twins... as low as 5%

but again, not the most reliable sources :/

ETA: I am also seeing ppl say that they were told that not every mature follicle results in an egg...

To see twins, it depends what kind of twins you are having. Faternal twins (Two (2)separate eggs that are both fertalized) can be seen on your first ultrasound, as early as 6 weeks or 4 week if your doctor orders a vaginal ultrasound. Finally my opk has a line 😅😅😅 i cOuld cry. All that O pain with an exhausting end to my shift paid off. Its not as dark as control but i think tmro is very likely maybe later tonight. DH better be on board 😁

I have seen FRERs online as low as $11.50 a 3 pack. Chemist warehouse and chemist king are both $15 but the ones near me we out of stock so I paid $17 at woolies (plus also the additional cost of having to buy a block of chocolate because it was there lol)

My sleep patterns are so inconsistent typically that something lile waking early is generally not noticeable. I'm sleeping a bit better this cycle though so I am not sure what impact it might have. I dislike using the temp correcters because they tend to be so extreme.

I know your not supposed to use them but I have taken my temp at say 2am then again at 6am and the adjustment works out to be roughly the same temp at 4am. It takes a bit of the stress out of it for me knowing I can adjust my temp if needed.

Also - I think before Clomid I had pretty low progesterone and LPD (one cycle I only made it to 7dpo before AF started and most cycles was 9dpo with spotting before that). On Clomid though obviously it increased my progesterone, but should I be concerned that it doesn't continue to increase throughout first trimester? I'm afraid if Monday's betas look good they won't have me in until 8 week u/s and my progesterone won't continue to increase and I'll end up mc. Or, does Clomid do a nice job of fixing that?

No pics. Most docs don't do serial prog in my experience. If you are good early on I'd say you'll likely be fine until baby takes over but you could always ask if you are concerned.

As far as me, I am getting more sleep (but weirdly more tired) this cycle so I don't know because my norm is waking early, up half the night and waking up several times throughout the night so this cycle is a little different than I am used to.

I am about 75% sure I O'd yesterday. Cramping is completely gone this AM (oh and my right side got a little cranky again last night so there might be hope for it too lol). I just think either my temp was affected by the wake up time or my temp just hasn't caught up yet.

As far as twins. My mom was expecting twins (lost them) when I was a kid and I have loved the idea since. And since then I have had experience with a lot of twins and still love them. I will say I would prefer fraternal over identical. Because if you ever watched Full House... the episode where Jesse mixes up the twins... yeah... that'd be me lol. ;)

Yep and it doesn't have to be a huge spike or anything. In saying that even if you get a spike you wont get crosshairs (ff puts in your chart to show day of o) until you have 3 or 4 days of temps over your calculated coverline or close to. Post a pic of your chart in the morning so we can take a look :)

Oh I wish Quinn lol. Our 19 month old has zero interest in tv and has developed a huge attachment to his dad while dad has been on vacation for the past 3 weeks! He usually doesn't get to see him a whole lot as DH works 6 days most weeks. Hopefully we can figure something though, I am already asking DH to brain storm ways we can be kid free for even 5 minutes lmbo!!

Our 14 month old won't sit still but we give her a snack in her high chair because she loves to eat. It really makes it romantic!! [emoji6]

No more blood but cramps occasionally that feel like af. The pokey kind I've never had when pregnant. I just don't know what it could be. I guess sometimes our bodies are just weird!

It sounds like your body is TRYING to o but based on your chart it hasn't succeeded. Sometimes our bodies need a bit more coaxing than normal. Nothing to worry about. Make sure you aren't taking NSAIDs too. Ovulation is an inflammatory process so NSAIDs can sometimes delay O.

Lauren you also have a lot of open circles - are you having trouble taking temp at same time daily? Agree with two about moving onto e4d. Me personally I had nothing but trouble and stress trying to use opk test strips - I went to cb dual digital and haven't looked back. I used some strips this cycle because I doubted the digi due to such a minor temp rise but it was right again so if its an option for you why not try them next cycle if this one is unsuccessful?

I agree with pb. Strips drove me crazy! I buy cheapies and when my line starts getting darker I double check with my clear blue digital. I say it's worth the extra money for less stress! I've been preggo twice using them!

Lauren- that is why I don't like, and will not ever use, opks! They were useless for me, because I get 2-3 days of a positive and ovulate 2-3 days AFTER the last one goes negative! Plus, with my BFP cycle I never even got a positive opk! I agree with Two, and I would definitely BD every 4 days!

Pbn3- don't stress over this! I couldn't get a clear positive on a damn test until I reached 21 DPO with DS2! I thought I was losing my mind, because I felt pregnant!!!
