Ok, so it was a no-go cleaning it up. Every time I tried to enhance the contrast it washed out the line. So I just lightened it a bit, rotated and cropped it, put dots above and below where I see the line and added and invert filter. LMK if you see it!

So cd6 here was so exciting to poas again. My opk had a fair line already so thinking I might o early again. Maybe even on Saturday 26th! Anyone else still waiting to o late this month and going into October 2ww?

Interesting observation on my chart. My temps are quite steady and declining as af finishes. Normally its jumping all over the place and I get a big dip after af. So into the unknown we go again lol! Cant wait for the next five days to see what happens!

Change of plan again I'm going to be using some sperm friendly lube for attempt (not a whole applicator just enough) - make our 'scheduled' bd easier and give the swimmers a helping hand. I know its blue friendly territory but as someone said I'll have no chance of pink if I cant get pregnant. And back to an attempt day b4 o as this will be easier and more definate than setting an alarm lol. I'm hoping the lube will keep those baby making swimmers alive!

Preseed n mucinex worked for me! I agree with the day before O thing... I was seriously wondering how you were going to do as you planned but it's possible :) your new plan sounds much more preggy-making though!! Every thing crossed for you! What date do you think you might O?

Working with a small chunk of temps doesn't offer a full pic as you know so I'm going to do my best...

LP length aside I see 2 potential ways your cycle could be playing out.

1: You O'd around when you think you did and it just hasn't shown on HPT (since this is your first you have no way of knowing how your body works in this matter... some when NEVER excrete HCG in their urine, some it just takes longer). If this is the case, if AF hasn't shown in the next week I'd call for bloodwork.

2: You had an LH surge but didn't Owhen you think you did. Sometimes the body gears up then backs down before gearing up again. Since you stopped testing (as most ppl do) there is no way to be sure this is the case, though. Since you didn't temp the majority of your cycle there is no way to know either. But for s&gs lets just run a for instance... Let's say you didn't O when you think you did... maybe you O'd a week later, just before you started temping. Then that would only make you 9 DPO and would make the second shift prime time for a triphasic shift (NOT a guarantee of preg but a good sign!). Seeing as how most ppl don't get a BFP until AT LEAST 10 DPO, most being 11-12 DPO, I wouldn't be surprised you didn't get a BFP even if you are preggers :) And if you aren't then you'd still have an unknown number of days before AF (Typical LP's range from 10-14 days).

Sorry I can't give you a more definitive answer :/

Two, no clue really since this was my first cycle using OPKs. I think my LP is about 13-14 days based on symptoms (ex: sore boobs about 2 weeks before AF) no matter the cycle length.

Got ya. Another possibility BTW is you JUST O'd @ shift... though CM doesn't necessarily support this. Like I said, if AF or BFP doesn't show in a week I'd definitely go in for BW so you can see what the heck is going on!

I guess I'll be O'ing at my regular time after all, which is usually CD15. I usually use an 1inch of Preseed in the applicator once I get my +opks to give any sperm a chance that might make it through the pull out method. Still, my chance of a BFP is pretty slim. :(

Hi Girls, CD 15 for me today. First cycle on Clomid (after miscarriage). I'm being monitored (thank god) and was told after today's blood test to 'NOT HAVE SEX'.... My Estrogen levels are too high so I am going in for an early morning ultrasound tomorrow to see what is happening. Dr said there could be 2, 3 or 4 eggs....:omg:
I had already had an attempt on Sat morn just to cover bases as per Dr's instructions (whilst waiting to get blood test Monday). Now I am hoping that none of those swimmers are hanging around waiting for 'how ever many' eggs! Lol....
Hopefully my scan tomorrow will show 1 or 2 eggs and that's it!
Has anyone here been on Clomid with monitoring and been told to not DTD until after an ultrasound? If so, what was your outcome? t.i.a

It's not that bad! I always got up and took in on the toilet after going pee first thing in the morning. My bathroom is attached to our bedroom, and this NEVER affected my vaginal temp. The only that that did was if I took it an hour after waking.

Vaginal temping allows for much more wiggle room with taking your temp than using your mouth. I always cleaned it afterward using rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball. I also used probe plastic covers during AF. Some people don't temp until after AF is gone. Do what works for you!

I'll do a test either Saturday or Sunday probably. I'm around 7dpo, maybe 5 if I go by cervical position instead of opk. Like boysbots though, I'm not feeling it this month. My cervix hasn't closed up like it did when I got my bfp with both boys, and I've been constantly damp with no cramping, and with all my other pregnancies I've been desert dry and got sharp pains both at o and around 5-6dpo.

I hope next cycle is your BFP Lauren! Are you going to switch to BD every 4 days? Then no matter what, you'll have one attempt in the fertile window regardless of when you ovulate.

Ok. So I switched to vag temping when my allergies started making it impossible to keep my mouth closed at night. 89 doesn't really sound like a mouth breathing temp though. 89 is pretty high and mouth breathing temps tend to be much lower.

As far as vag temping itself it takes some getting used to but it's far more accurate and much less affected by external factors. DH thought it was odd at first too but I told him "why bother temping if I can't be sure I can trust my temp" and after a couple weeks of teasing about "liking 'em small" :giggle: it finally was just normal and we didn't think much of it :)

It's up to you I suppose. I started either at the end of AF when it got really light or just after AF was over. Some like to try to time the attempts if they have an idea when O might be. Whatever works best for you.

Lauren are you using the digital opks next cycle? I would give one attempt at pos digital opk a go first as you've come this far now and had so much trouble with the dip tests in the past. Its entirely up to you whether you switch to e4d which you would start when af finishes but personally I would do the one attempt with pos digital opk so you can pretty much guarantee an attempt super close to o.

Yep, I am. Had my ultrasound this morning after a worrying call from the Dr yesterday regarding my estrogen levels (we're too high), she was worried there could be multiple eggs. Ultrasound shows I have 2 large ones ready to ovulate today....phew... But, I would of preferred they said there was only 1!

Two - did they tell you the sizes of your 2 eggs/follicles when you had your scan? Mine were 22 and 26.

Yup! My right side was 21.84 mm and my left was 21.21... so pretty close to the same. I O'd 2 days later. Cycle before that I had a 31.55 mm follicle and also O'd 2 days later (you may be different though!)

So... how you feeling about the potential for twins?? FX you catch the number of eggs you want!! Get to BD'ing, OPKing... whatever method you are using, lol.

I had an attempt on Sat morn and am thinking of leaving it at that. Really couldn't handle twins. Plus I was told you can't do the Harminy test if twins as the results will not show the gender properly. I would die if I got twin boys!!! Lol!

You can always try fudging the truth a bit :shrug: Unless your doc knows better you could say your cycles are long and ask about it... or maybe that your LP is less than 10 days :shrug: I honestly don't know...

I'll try find where its located :) it's so hard to ignore what we've thought for sooo long regarding male and female swimmers though. Atomic and Twointow are two people I know of that conceived girls on o day.....

Dr just rang, she said to go for it today or early afternoon, tonight may be too late - but I can't do that, so it looks like the Sat attempt will have to do. She said if it was her and she only wanted a girl, she would stick with the Sat attempt too, so that made me feel a bit better...

From my last sway, I dropped the cardio - my heart wasn't in it. I also upped my calories from 1600 to 1800, with 1 serving of full fat a day, I added more folic acid and also an iron sup 3 x times a week (Atomic got me to add these things). I am supposed to have a meal a week of red meat, but sometimes I forgot, didn't want to etc...
I took Clomid for the first time this cycle too and of course the miscarriage was different this time too.
That's prob the only real difference's this time. Oh, and I BD earlier (last time it was BD at + opk), this time it will be 3 days cut off.

Ladies - the closer it gets to hubby coming home for the evening I am starting to wonder if I am selling myself short of BFP by not b'ding tonight (ovulating right now!). Does anyone know someone who has gotten pregnant from a 3 (or even 3 and a half) day cut off? Last time I BD'd was Sat morn, it is Tues later afternoon now.....
Atomic has said that leaving it at the one attempt is better odds for pink, having an attempt tonight is best odds of conception....

Argh! Not sure why I am second guessing myself.... I think it's the whole 'I am the worlds most impatient person' I'm sure! :nails:

There has been many people who have gotten pregnant from even a 4-5 day cut off I guess it depends how fertile both you and dh are which obviously decreases with age. I think you really need to ask yourself if your ok with going another round ttc if your attempt doesn't work out or do you want better odds of seeing a bfp? I really wouldn't wish your situation on my worst enemy and I'm so sorry you're in this position :(.

I'm 37 (hubby just turned 39). I think we are pretty fertile, last 3 babies conceived were done so on the first month of trying...

All I can say is 'go with your gut'. Did you use sperm friendly lube? And how sure are you that you're ovulating right now? Could you be getting o pains but not o until tomorrow or do you normally o as you feel o pains? Sorry for all the questions lol its just if you dont physically o until tomorrow then your attempt becomes a o-4. On the other hand if your both still very fertile then a o-3 could absolutely happen. I cant remember exactly your chart from the June thread but thought you had a day b4 o attempt?

Immi-- If I were in your shoes I'd attempt again. Especially since this is your first cycle after the miscarriage which heavily sways girl. Plus, there's a good chance that all those sperm from Saturday's attempt will be dead by the time you O since swaying girl already decreases fertile cm and the sperm don't live nearly as long in non-fertile cm. Go for it!!!

Didn't use any lube. My fertility Dr has said from my ultrasound this morning plus my blood test yesterday that I am ovulating this afternoon (she even said that a BD tonight may be too late, it needed to be at lunchtime it as soon as hubby gets in the door - which will not happen)
Yes, my BFP from June was an attempt at day before ovulation. I know if I Bd tonight I WILL get pregs, but I'm worried it will be a boy just like my June BFP....

At least if not successful this cycle you can change things up next cycle (as in no attempts until closer to o or an extra attempt and I'm assuming here you'll be monitored?) and maybe you wont have the twin possibility to worry about etc etc. I really dont know that I would risk an extra attempt this cycle. Again I'm sorry you're in this position I can only advise what I would do in your shoes.....

I don't think I would take clomid next cycle - too much running around with blood tests every few days etc... I am only taking it for swaying...
Yes, this would be my absolute last baby. I have not tried a cut off like this with any of my boys, I always BD very close to ovulation - so maybe this will be my chance to try something new....?
It's a shame that it will not get to take advantage of the miscarriage (the only good part about it :sad: - that it gave me the chance at a stronger pink sway and another chance at getting my little girl too I guess xox)

Ughhh sorry to be a downer on the thread but DHs cousin just found out shes having a girl. Shes due in April im sure she would have only just had a 12 week scan?

Just wanted to ask a question in relation to O. I see some of you ladies have had scans and found a few eggs 2-3. So is it possible to naturally have triplets/quads at least? Not that im hoping lol i just thought the Ovary released one egg. And triplets and beyond was ivf....

hugs netti it really does raise the gd head when someone you know is getting it :( it's absolutely possible to have twins whether its in the family or not and apparently the risk (depending how you view having twins :)) can increase as you get older (but can also be harder to conceive) Triplets and beyond has happened naturally as far as I know but the odds are waaayyy against :) and also very rare

awww Netti anytime! That's what we are here for, we all understand, we all want the same thing. I feel like everytime I go shopping I see little baby girls everywhere or 2 boys 1 girl families and it hits me everytime. Of course in reality its not like that, there's plenty of same and mixed gender families, I think we sometime choose to see what we want to see lol iykwim. Oh and what a lovely dh you have :)

Immi - from what you have said about being quite fertile I think maybe leave it at one attempt. Having two eggs might mean there is more chance one gets fertilised anyway... hopefully there is still enough sperm left. If it doesn't work and you don't take clomid next month at least it is still supposed to sway the month after anyway.

How many mg did you take?

Thanks Purple! I didn't know that Clomid can still 'help' even in the following month? I was on 50mg CD 2-6. I am having sone major ovulation pain at the moment so I'm not sure if I could stand BD'ing anyways at this stage. But I think I will stick with Sat attempt too... It is just such a foreign thing to me (this cut off type length) as I have always dtd very close to ovulation. Maybe that's why I have conceived 5 boys!!! Lol!

I am hoping for a full nights sleep do I can take a proper temp in the morning and hope their is a good 'ovulation' rise.

Lauren are you using the digital opks next cycle? I would give one attempt at pos digital opk a go first as you've come this far now and had so much trouble with the dip tests in the past. Its entirely up to you whether you switch to e4d which you would start when af finishes but personally I would do the one attempt with pos digital opk so you can pretty much guarantee an attempt super close to o.

I'm For sure using digitals next month and sticking w one attempt. I want to atleast have one REAL accurate cycle attempt this time.
I'm 8 dpo and took a hpt this morning lol it was second morning urine but I was certain I could see something lol the. I realized "line eyes" are a real thing haha. Total imagination.

I wasn't doing a blasted thing to sway when I got my DD. In fact I was eating mostly full or reduced fat dairy most of the time. The only things I did that *might* have swayed, diet wise, is lower calories by switching to zero calorie drinks and lots of protien but VERY little meat. And it was completely unintentional. Other than that we had 1 BD 5 days before O and one the day of. If you are preg then I'd say a O-6 attempt would probably sway enough to make up for any cheats. Also, the day we concieved DD I had EWCM coming out of my ears! I would not assume a BFP would = blue esp with O-6 timing as your cm prob wasn't "prime" for conception at that point.

Lauren- I think you Oed on CD20 and had a slow temp rise. That happened to me several times- more than I can count! I was monitored for ovulation- not because of Clomid (I didn't take it) but because my FSH was 45 and my AMH was 0. FF almost always got my O day wrong every time!

I think you have a great shot at a BFP this cycle! I like how your post O temps are nice and high and are stable!

It varies. Some ppl have lines like that throughout thier cycle like I did on clomid and some only have lines pop up once they start gearing up to O, like I did b4 clomid. *For me*, before clomid, I would start getting likes anywhere from 3 days to 1 week before surge.

I can totally see a faint line there Lauren!!! I feel very much the same as you, IF we conceived this cycle I had so many cheats (on vacation) in August that I feel it MIGHT just outweigh all the work since I started LE in May and DH wasn't on LR long (like 6 days) and he wasn't strict with his cran either being honest but DH keeps telling me what will be will be and we will just be happy with either outcome. Being our last child I am hoping that if push comes to shove I would feel like that but its haard to imagine feeling GD forever and longing for the daughter I will definitely never have if this sway doesn't work. I know its not a magic bullet but I have cheated a lot on LE in August and am not as strict since returning from vacation (haven't gained weight, have actually lost 0.5lb but still) I was definitely more girl friendly in August. Hindsight is a wonderful thing isn't it!!!! Either way I am fully sick of swaying, I just want to be done with LE and cardio (which I have not done properly since vacation either!) and return to my super boy friendly lifestyle!

Morning Ladies. Well my temp jumped up to 36.6, so yesterday was definitely ovulation. I didn't add an attempt. Stick with the Sat attempt. It came down to me really wanting a girl rather than me just wanting a baby. Let's hope the strong girly sperm were still hanging around!!

8DPO today have had a few little symptoms but trying not to amplify them in my head lol :) think my chart is looking ok, have also compared to my last pregnancy chart which is very similar, prob doesn't mean much though?

Mammacass i am 8dpo aswell. Absolutely no symptoms what so ever lol. I was thinking of getting some tests today and using FMU tmro at 9. I just can't wait 😂 though im not very hopeful this cycle

Will be interesting to see (or not to see) what my lp length is this time. I still have to buy a thermometer but im kinda hoping I don't have to.

Yes I did ask immi lol but I was able to get a sperm safe lube from second chemist :) never heard of it before but I'll take what I can get

Last cycle (24days) lp was 10. And previous cycle was 29 days with lp of 12.

Trying to remain positive. Just a firm cervix and creamy CM so not much else to go by. Have had shockin g headaches though not sure if its cause i have abit of a cold. Will see what tmro brings 😄

Lauren, i haven't looked closely at your photo because I'm on my phone but do you think you could get a frer? I personally don't trust the blue dye + symbol ones although I'm not as trusting of frers either. Anyway, will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow!

How many +s do you generally get each cycle before O? One day? 2? If you only get a + for one day then twice a day closer to O might be a better fit for you and make sure you catch your surge.

No BW for me :( I tried, lol, but doc just called in a script of progesterone for me (it was low with my DD) which is why I won't be temping anymore. I have my first appt on Oct 8th, but I won't get an u/s that day though. If given a choice I am thinking about waiting and having the u/s at 7 weeks because I know if I don't see a HB I will panic and I was 6 weeks and a couple days during my first u/s with DD and she didn't have a hb yet. So, I am thinking 7 weeks is a better bet.

Yeh im going to wait until 7 weeks plus. We normally do bloodwork at the drs. Confirm hcg and do a full blood count. I know my iron will still be low. Will have to up my dose if i get a bfp

Any aussie ladies know where you can get chewable prenatal vitamins or a trusted online company that might sell?. I went looking last cycle as I use to use a vita-gummy one but apparently they no longer sell them :(

I rarely even get a positive! I think that answers the question, I obviously need to test more.
I just bought 60 tests but they are just ebay ones. I wish I could get the wondfo ones but postage is too much.

thanks netti I checked chemist warehouse this morning and googled lol but I've never heard of the online companies and one that looked ok was $22 for a months supply! Will check vitamin king out :) and keep looking
