Lines r starting to show more clearly at 11 dpo though still faint. I am a bit concerned at how slow its progression. I am going to stop checking now till 14 DPO. If they arnt still quite bold by then i might go in for my levels just to make all is on track

WooHoo Bluebooties! Congrats again! Is that a Wondfo test? They suck at getting darker for progression pics. They take sooo long to get dark. Mine Wondfos were super faint till after 14dpo. Do you have a FRER? That should have a nice line on it!

I'm on cd8 and expect our attempt to be either cd11 or cd12. Dh is 44, he released cd4 and cd7 and I'm unsure whether he should squeeze in one last release cd9 or leave it until our attempt. I really want to have some fresh swimmers but not a depleted supply so unsure which way to go due to his age? What do you all think?

I always feel bad saying I can't see something, but I've been in the "game" long enough and enough times that I refuse to give false hope. I had ppl tell me what I wanted to hear and it always made the crash harder. So if I don't see anything I don't say I do and if I am not sure I make sure to say so. I am contorting into a pretzel as we speak though... crossing everything for you ;)

BTW, you all who can mange to do holds... kudos to you! My bladder won't have it!! During the 2WW I always had to go frequently, so this cycle when I couldn't make it through a single class without having to get up and go use the restroom... even though I had went JUST before class, I didn't think much of it lol. Holds and I don't get along :giggle:

No AF, still have symptoms, but I'm worried AF is right around the corner, and with all these BFN I'm still sad. Will book in for BW ASAP but I would really like a urine positive first to show hubby. :(

Yesterday I had weird pinching after school about 3:30 which would be exactly 6 dpo. Almost like gas pains.

Well I feel very moist (I hate that word) down there. Like when I go to the restroom I feel like there will be a ton of CM seen and there isn't! It just feels that way! Super strange.

I have a dull back ache when I lay down at night. (Implantation with DS2 was stabbing pains in my back) but I haven't had them just a dull back ache like I need to stretch/Pop my back.

I am trying to tell myself it was gas pains and stop trying to pull at straws but it's so hard not to symptom spot!!! Anyway, we shall see in 5 long days.

I just pop it in there and lay very still. Fortunately my therm has temp recall cuz I have fallen asleep temping more than once lol. Also waking doesn't affect temps much as long as you go RIGHT back to sleep. If you stay up after waking that's a different story though...

I'm not. I don't want to undo 3+ months worth of girl sway work for a 20% chance of a bfp each month, haha. I figure for the whole 6-8 days between implantation and when I get my bfp to start taking them- the baby isn't going to be drawing enough of anything to deplete my body's stores. Of course, I never took them at all with DS1 and only remembered about 50 total times with DS2, so I'm not a religious vitamin-taker as it is. It's one step short of miraculous that atomic convinced me to start iron since I'm chronically anemic and haven't taken it in the 3 years they've been telling me I need it.

I just take folic acid. I ran out so this tww I've been taking some prenatals JUST in case until I get my folic acid. I have a cousin with severe spinabifida so I don't play around with not taking my folic.

I have a temp query. I was up at 5.30 and had walked down to my baby's room (as he was crying when I got out of bed and went to the toilet etc). When I got down to his room he had stopped so I just waited outside for 1 min then went back to bed and took my temp.
I woke again at my normal temp time 7am and took it again. Which temp should I use?
The first one was 36.6 (same as yesterday's) and the 2nd one was 36.7. I'm 2 dpo :wink:

Immi I would go with the second one seeing as you got back to sleep even for a short time and it was your usual time. I personally wouldn't use a temp I had taken after getting up and walking around. That being said there's not much difference between them anyway :)

I know you are all girls swayers but I have a general getting pregnant question. My opk was negative today on cd11 but I expect it to be positive on 12, 13, or 14, most likely 13. I just noticed I had ewcm so should we dtd tonight? We last dtd on cd8 and I had been hoping to wait until tomorrow so we could have it of the buildup of healthy sperm. Morning Gals.
I have a temp query. I was up at 5.30 and had walked down to my baby's room (as he was crying when I got out of bed and went to the toilet etc). When I got down to his room he had stopped so I just waited outside for 1 min then went back to bed and took my temp.
I woke again at my normal temp time 7am and took it again. Which temp should I use?
The first one was 36.6 (same as yesterday's) and the 2nd one was 36.7. I'm 2 dpo :wink:

If you think there is a good chance of a + tomorrow I'd DTD tonight so you'll have time between now and O to get a few attempts in. If you think 13 or 14 are more likely then save it up tonight and get to it tomorrow ;)

Quinn, I didn't sway but with DS1 I dtd every day from when I saw ewcm (no opks) and with DS2 I dtd cd 12, 14, 15, and 2x on the cd16 and I had a pos opk on cd 15.

With EWCM I'd go ahead and get an attempt in tonight if you feel up to it. More attempts can't hurt anything, and a lot of the studies I've read have said that an abstain over 2-3 days is actually bad in guys with a low sperm count, and doesn't make a difference in normally producing guys.

I'm sorry I can't remember who asked what DPO I was. My DPO is basically a giant question mark at this point because I wasn't charting.
My cycles are all over the place, but this current one is the weirdest of all.
My shortest was 21 days, my longest was 39 days, and my average is 31. I'm only cycle day 40 now, a day late over my longest cycle length, with no sign of AF arriving.

Also, on another forum I visit, a lady was using the same internet cheapies as me and getting "faint, faint lines: I swore I had line eyes!". So she bought a proper brand of pregnancy test and she got a great BFP. I'll be picking up some FRER's soon I think if AF doesn't show. I keep getting the same as what she said, the faintest lines ever that I swear I'm going crazy.
Blood work won't be until next week unfortunately. Sigh!!

You're fine lol. Watery is just as fertile as EWCM so you still have fertile CM... EW is just always the "gold standard" because it's easy to see/distinguish. However, yes mucinex CAN create EWCM.

I'm starting to get ewcm at cd 11. I have some opks to test at work (and a tiny little cup in my bag, hopefully its not too messy trying this at work!)
I have also opened the blinds to let light in my room when I sleep as an experiment to see if 'moonlight' can really trigger O.

Sounds like the issue might be your phone keyboard as it allows decimals on my phone. Some of the default keyboards don't have the decimal point for number inputs. I think the Samsung S4 was one mobile that does this from memory but probably others too (I work in this area of developing websites that need to work on mobiles...)

Morning ladies! Am seriously thread stalking for some BFPs! Who is due to test today? MaaMaa? Netti? Anyone else? Come on, September NEEDS more lol!

Have a little question girls - if this cycle is successful (BIG if!) we would have possibly BDed at O+12....I'm reasonably confident if my cycle is longer than usual I Oed late on CD23/early CD24, I don't temp or opk but going on CM and CP, today is CD29 (initially thought I was going to O on CD20 but was away for work so next chance we had to BD was CD24. Had big O as was thinking fertile period was past, did 5 mins lay flat then jump and dump just in case) and I am symptom spotting galore. Had a LOT of twingy cramping yesterday but none today and the sides of my BBs are so sore and tender, not nipples just the sides like almost underneath my arms. Also have a breakout on my chin, I have clear sallow skin and never ever get spots so this is unusual for me, but a breakout was not a symptom at all on my boys. The other thing is my emotions - I am crying at the drop of a hat and its actually getting embarrassing!!!! I cried this morning at a cartoon DS1 was watching - it wasn't even sad!!! The crying was my main thing before getting BFPs on my sons. With DS1 I roared crying everytime I heard Lady Gaga Born This Way!!!!!! Which was just plain strange lol. Wish I could stop symptom spotting, yesterday I had myself completely discounted for this cycle but the sore BBs and crying have me wondering if its possible. Then I'm scared cause I did so many things boy friendly in the weeks leading up to it, I know that IF I'm pregnant what will be will be but second guessing my sway tactics now cause already I'm swaying stronger for an October attempt! Argh, wish my mind would be quiet for 5 minutes!!!

Hi Purple I just tried this but it only allows a whole number to be input with no decimal place - as in my temp was 36.27 but it only lets me put in 36 - might be because I'm on mobile? I'll try get onto desktop later :) thanks for the link!

To go by "standard" adjustment it's a 0.1 increase for every HALF hour. So going by that, if you woke up an hour early you'd add 0.2 to your temp. If you over slept an hour your would subtract 0.2 from your temp. And they say to NEVER adjust a temp more than 2 hours. I think it's a bit extreme as most ppl just don't have THAT big of a difference... but that's the way it works :)

Hopper your symptoms sound promising!! What dpo will you test? Also I think we all will second guess our sway as soon as we get a bfp and before lol its just part and parcel of natural swaying I suppose :) fx fx fx for you!!!
I'm gonna wait, or TRY to wait til October 1st at the earliest. Bit ambitious lol but I'm not too sure when I'm due AF cause of my stupid cycles. They average at 33 days, today being CD29. Honestly dunno how I'd feel if we were successful tis month, it would almost be like an accident cause we weren't really trying, thinking I had already Oed!!

What are your thoughts on timing? If we are successful I would have conceived on O day or possibly +12, I know the general consensus is that timing doesn't sway but I wouldn't have consciously attempted on O day I don't think. It feels like boy territory!! Though we had multiple attempts when ttc DS1 and DS2 and they were conceived from O-1 (well +opk) which to me would b girl territory!


How many dpo are you? I was stupidly emotional a few days before my last bfp, I was 8dpo then.

Hey ladies, just an update. Hubby couldn't find the FRERs at the local shops so he bought a First Response Digital instead. I really don't want to waste a $20 test if it will come back negative. Should I wait a few days to use it?
With my son I didn't get a faint faint positive until like 1 week after my period was due, as some of you know. Average cycle 31 days, currently on day 40. Figure by now I'd be getting positives, right? Unless perhaps I O'd late.
I really just want to use the test now with evening urine, and get over seeing the "NO-" and giving up and waiting for blood work, instead of constantly testing.

Thanks Netti! Do you remember if you had multiple attempts with your boys? You're right, its the number of attempts that sway I'm sure. Its just hard to get the whole timing thing straight in my head after believing it for so long!!

Some very positive sounding symptoms there hun!!! FX this is it!!!! 9 hours is nothing to you, you can totally ROCK this!! I will be stalking for the whole day lol!!

LOL the difference in boy friendly and girl friendly is just unbelievable! I only really noticed the changes I had made when I was on vacation a month ago and had a cheat week where I ate what I wanted when I wanted, including breakfast which I hadn't ate in about a year and even red meat a handful of times which I hadn't eaten in months. Got back on the LE mostly (not as strict mind you! I did have a big Five Guys burger on my last night there, I couldn't NOT!!) after exactly a week and the difference was crazy. The amount of cals and fat I would eat on any given day prior to swaying would be HUGE! I never bothered tracking cals before but woah, I was eating way more than I should have been. At 140lbs and 5'6 I was a fine 22.7 BMI so it never bothered me but now I can see the difference it makes to cut cals. I'm 120.2lbs today with a BMI of 19.4 and prior to my cheat week I was leading a super friendly girl life but the vacation messed me up in a big way. I'm trying to remember that Atomic says its your over all condition that matters most....

Just checked CM and alot more spotting now and unfortunately it seems like its going like last cycle. I will test in the AM using one of my pregnosis clear but at 10dpo tmro ive now lost all confidence. I will be doing another month and if my LP is short again im going to the drs to get something. I know they will try to talk me out of it only being 8 months post partum but theres obviously something going on with an LP of 10 days. Hopefully the morning brings with it a surprise

We are going out of town with my parents so dtd on the 14 is going to be tricky and might not happen. Just had spotting when I went to the toilet, only on the tissue when I wiped and it was brown. So muddled now. Could be AF on her way at 11DPO if cycle was shorter than I thought or could be IB at 6DPO...I put on a panty liner anyway just in case. Feel sick with nerves. Was NEVER like this before, we were ttc with opks on our boys so I just KNEW I was pg then. This cycle has been on big question mark and I am clueless about when I Oed so feel totally lost and in limbo. Time will tell. Not counting myself out but never had IB on the boys so have NO clue what it looks or feels like or when it can appear. But my lh surge was never that dark b4 if it makes a difference or not.
I got + opk on cd16 at noon n bded at night around 12 pm

Hopper - fx that the spotting was IB! I def understand the big question mark over when you O'ed, I'm in the same boat despite getting a +OPK and have no idea whether I actually O'ed around then or O'ed at all!

MaaMaa - I was the one who had asked about your DPOs! My cycle is all over the map, too, with longest cycle before this being 39 days. Today is CD46. Nothing is happening over here - no AF and no BFPs.

I think I'm starting to lose my grip today, ladies. I've been really emotional the past 2 days and feel like bursting into tears at the drop of a hat, really depressed. I never really experienced the 2ww before but now I certainly understand the toll it takes. For those of you who have been trying for various cycles, you have my admiration. I'm so sick of being stuck in babymaker limbo over here!!! I already have less cycles per year to get preggo since AF doesn't come before CD35, I'm 32, I've read it's normal to have 2 cycles per year where you don't ovulate, and now AF is nowhere in sight. And there's only a 20% chance I'd get preggo if all circumstances were perfect anyway! I feel like I am wasting time here and just want to start at CD1 again so we can try again. [emoji26] I feel like the odds are against me and it's so cruel that my body isn't cooperating right now. I don't know who or what to be angry at. I guess
I'm just angry at myself for being wired wrong.

But so far, peeing on Wondfos has broken my spirit and I'm still praying for AF to come. I've got full bbs and pulling/pinching on my left side, plus feel dizzy even sitting down. But since this is my first time TTC I have no idea what signs to look for. Maybe it's just a cyst on the left side that's doing all this?

JellieBellie - I just wanted to pop in and say I know completely how you feel. I struggled to ovulate as well and it was one of the most frustrating things. Whoever said the wait until the 2WW is worse than the 2WW itself. At least in the 2WW what's done is done. Please know that you are not alone and you WILL get a BFP. I remember just being so over the top frustrated. Your time will come!

Also, have you gone to your OB or someone and inquired about Clomid? That's what did the trick for me (three rounds). It gave me a new hope because I was actually ovulating at a decent time and giving us more of a chance. I'm rooting for you!

If it makes you feel any better, with my last dd, I had completely normal af symptoms and then got my bfp. I've been pregnant three times and had different symptoms every time.

The well wishes are much appreciated ladies. Unfortunately I am 99.9% sure I'm out this month. :( Bleeding has increased and is red now, not heavy like my AF usually is but I have little doubt it will continue to increase to a full flow overnight. Also cramps have slowly kicked up a notch feeling much more like AF cramps than the twingy cramps I had earlier. And BBs are fine now too. Have to admit that even with all my doubts about having had a less desirable sway this month I am really disappointed. I think I had hoped that if I got a BFP this month it would just take the whole thing out of my hands, I'm just sick of swaying and wish I could stop. Will be on LE 21 weeks tomorrow, two months of cardio four times a week at minimum, I'm more than over it now.
Am contemplating going to my GP tomorrow and telling him my AF arrived at 11DPO and with my BW this past month I'm hopeful he might rx Clomid, only downside is trying to get a last minute appointment for something thats not deemed an emergency but if I don't make the appt for tomorrow it would be Monday before I'm seen and I'd be on CD5. I'd ideally like to do 3-7 on Clomid if possible but will take what I can get obviously. I'm even doubtful he would rx it but want to try make my October attempt as strong as possible.
Have taken it easy with diet and exercise the past fortnight so will get back to hardcore from tomorrow. Oh the thoughts of it :(

Hopper I don't think I could Not use opks lol. In saying that I found the dip tests super stressful. I bought some internet cheapies way back in March to start using and get an idea cycle wise for preparation for June. Got one positive out of 49 tests. Moved onto the dual digital and its nailed it every cycle since. Had dramas one cycle where I bought first response dip opks for continued testing, kept getting positives in morning, negatives in afternoon this went on for four days. So my recommendation would be if you want to use opks but not have the stress then use the cb digitals - I also like that they use fmu, no need to worry if urine to diluted etc :)

Hey hopper hugs im still seeing some spotting im hopeful its something else or irritation i caused but im now get AF cramps too. I would certainly use opks. I O cd16 the cycle before and cd 22 this past cycle. So if i relied on my body alone i would probably miss it altogether. This last cycle using them was pretty stressy as i had a whole week of waiting before i actually got something.

Am currently in the bath with a cold beer! It is blissful!! Went to the toilet before hopping in and had some super weird globs of dark brown and red discharge when I wiped. Really sticky and stretchy, not like clots cause I generally have super heavy (need medication to help me!) periods so would see them often but never anything like this. Being honest it was more than a little like my mucous plug when I went into labour on DS2! Still cramping, AF not heavy like anticipated but I'm putting everything down to the fact my cycle was a LOT shorter than ever so maybe it will be less heinous than usual!! My stupid stupid brain still clutching at straws when there is next to no hope. I wish it would just start up properly so I could move on from this cycle.

Timing doesn't sway... attempts do. This is my BD record with my pregs. My DD and one son both were O BD's BUT my with my son it wasn't the ONLY attempt! :finger: for you!

Maybe talk to your doc about clomid?? It sways girl too... Atomic considers it the gold standard of swaying or something like that. I took it because my cycles were long too! :fingers:

Will be on LE 21 weeks tomorrow, two months of cardio four times a week at minimum, I'm more than over it now.
Am contemplating going to my GP tomorrow and telling him my AF arrived at 11DPO and with my BW this past month I'm hopeful he might rx Clomid, only downside is trying to get a last minute appointment for something thats not deemed an emergency but if I don't make the appt for tomorrow it would be Monday before I'm seen and I'd be on CD5. I'd ideally like to do 3-7 on Clomid if possible but will take what I can get obviously. I'm even doubtful he would rx it but want to try make my October attempt as strong as possible.
Have taken it easy with diet and exercise the past fortnight so will get back to hardcore from tomorrow. Oh the thoughts of it :(
One question girls, I haven't done OPKs this cycle as I felt they were so stressful when ttc our boys but after this cycle being so all over the place and not having a clue when O was cause my EWCM was all but non existant I'm wondering if I should use them next cycle. WWYD?

I'd use them. Seems like they would be FAR less stressful than this cycle has been for you. (((HUGS)))

Tested using a frer and BFN at 10dpo. Not sure if i will test tmro, will see how the day goes but i have a feeling af will arrive

Jelliebellie sorry you are feeling down :( I too have long cycles and the thought of waiting another month after AF arrives is very deflating

I never did a hold for OPKs for ovulation and never had an issue with the OPKs missing my surge. To me the whole idea of don't use FMU BUT do a hold just seems weird to me, lol. To each their own though ;)

Pbn its only been there when ive internally checked CM. But last cycle has me so damn paranoid with my LP that i feel shes going to drop at any minute. My app says Af is due over the wkend based on average 12 day LP.

DH is having a bbq tmro and i have annual leave and whilst i wasn't planning on drinking it would be good to know either way as I always work Saturday nights.

I don't even have any symptoms atm and ive banned myself from checking CM lol.

I have busy day planned anyway with mopping floors and grocery shopping yeyyyy lol

It depends. In my case, no. My opk looked like that on CD5 and I still don't think I've O'd yet and I'm on CD14 today! My true positive is when the test line is darker than the control. So for you it could be tonight or in several days. What CD are you?

FF has given me my crosshairs today, but I'm a bit confused with the coverline - I thought it was supposed to sit where your 'average' temp before O was? No? It just looks high to me, I can't see my temp staying up that high until either a BFP or the next cycle? :think:

Immi-- that looks right to me! My coverline is usually right above all my pre-O temps. It's what separates the pre-O temps from the post-O temps. It's usually just my AF temps that end up being above the coverline sometimes, but that's totally normal and why some people don't even temp during AF.

So I guess we'll see what tomorrow's temp is and I'll do another opk now and before bed.

Your CL is where I'd put it. It looks right to me. Is this your first cycle charting? You'd be surprised... you *might* have a temp or two dip below but generally speaking they tend to stay above that line.

If FF thinks a temp is an "outlying" temp (basically a fly in the stew- only there to mess everything up) it may go through a pre-o temp. This is known as the "rule of thumb" Which is like figuratively placing your thumb over an artificially high temp so you can see your normal pattern. Also, you only consider your last SIX temps so it will often intersect with temps before that point.

Hey ladies, I'm sorry to hear about all the BFN's and the start of some bleeding. Let's all try and stay positive!

Jelliebellie, sorry I forgot it was you who asked! If I'm not pregnant this cycle I'm going to be asking my doctor for clomid. He knows I have bad PCOS so hopefully he prescribes it easily enough. And I hear it sways girl, which is helpful to me too. Have you thought about clomid for regulation?

Well, I tested with the digital in the evening (my urine was just as concentrated as the morning, I could tell just by looking, lol), and it was "NO-"!
As suspected. There aren't the best reviews for those digitals, saying that they fail to pick up a lot of early results, so I haven't completely lost hope yet.
Will just have to wait for the blood work at this point.
I was going to try a stealthy cheapie this morning but I have run out of those too! I guess no more POAS for me this cycle!! :sad:

Will keep you ladies updated, it will either be done today or over the next week, depending on when they can fit me in.
