Well is it causing you more distress than it's encouraging you to keep going? If so I'd either take it down or only put it up from around O to say 10-11 DPO. That way you wouldn't have to have it rubbed in your wound if AF shows and you are dealing with that disappointment. Just a thought :shrug:

This will sound utterly ridiculous but I feel if I put it away I'll be closing the door on my possible baby lol so even though it sometimes makes me sad its mostly a reminder of why I'm doing this and motivation to try again :) My brain (logic) looses over my heart (emotion) everytime I find myself thinking about putting it away lol

This is what I've been sleeping with under my pillow since March too lol!! It's gigantic but doesn't poke through pillow. My hand actually curls around it really well and the night of our attempt I cup it and visualise the egg being fertilised lol. I love those booties! My "secret stash" of girl clothes is just a pair of pink ballet shoes in an infant size 1. I used to have tons of clothes from my niece but after DS2 had a penis--- they all went to the thrift store pile. I was afraid that after 7+ years, the elastic wouldn't be good and the styles would be outdated, but I just couldn't get rid of those shoes. Every few months I unearth them, and I've been meaning to put them under the bed, just in case. I suppose I should do that in case this cycle isn't a bfp.

DS2 at least got his hand me downs in boyish stuff. I think that's the hardest decision for me this time.. Do I go team green again like I did with both boys? Or do I find out and just not tell anyone? (Leaning towards that one).

H2g- thats something ive been thinking about aswell. I found out with all 4 of my boys but this time something just feels different. If i found out theres no way i could not tell anyone i cant hold it in. But theres something about this thats always been to find out at the birth so im sticking with my gut instinct.

I'm in the same boat h2g! Luckily in a way ds1 was very picky about what he wore so ds2 has all these hand me downs that look or are new lol. As for finding out I'm leaning team green as this is definitely last baby. Found out with ds1, ds2 was supposed to be team green but the ultrasound tech slipped as obvious 'his' during scan. Never confirmed the gender but always knew iykwim

Haha we didn't even announce we were expecting with ds2 until I was almost 30 weeks and he came at 34. Most of my family found out I was pregnant when they got the call that he was in the NICU. With DS1 I announced at 14 weeks but knew without a doubt that I didn't want to know gender, as my sister had just delivered her boy, and my sister in law her girl- giving a pigeon pair for both sides of the family. This time we're kind of thinking we might find out ahead and only announce if it's a girl, mostly to avoid the "well, I guess you'll have to try for #4" before we've even safely delivered #3, if we get a boy. Mind you, first we have to get pregnant in general, haha, so my opinion might change.

Mammacass my ds2 was supposed to be a girl going by the gender predictor. Doesn't stop me from checking it every cycle though lol and the moon phase too!!! Looks like I'm going o around full moon this cycle :( but I've read more than enough opposites to show that neither really cannot change what your going to get. In saying that wouldn't it be wonderful to have the non scientific stuff line with the scientific stuff lol

Exactly lol I battle with myself all the time because I am scientifically minded but also have a leaning towards the other side :)

Only my second time away from ds1 and my first from ds2. A lovely room all to myself, the ocean sounds divine! Thanks mammacass it was just 'what the doctor ordered' lol. I edited my above post as I'm only away for one night (16 hours to be exact lol) but I'm going to enjoy every minute of it especially the sleep :):) I say that but bet I'll be up at the usual time lol. I really struggled with last cycles ups and downs so I'm taking tonight as an opportunity to get into a great headspace for this cycle coming :) I also feel I've been unfairly harsh with my beautiful boys too so I want to go home refreshed for them :)

The other thing I've been feeling too is envy of all these 1st month ttc successes lol. My two sisters fell so easily too - my oldest sister only had to be looked at by her dh and she was pregnant and my other sister fell 1st then 2nd month when conceiving hers. Me I was 4 months with first and 6 with second and that was charting, using opks and a gazillion attempts lol. So I'm hoping for some middle ground and attempt no 5 ttc will do the trick :) I also know I shouldn't complain as it takes others so much longer it's just that swaying is exhausting in a way????

Hugs Pbn, It's totally understandable that you are feeling this way, emotions easily sneak up on you, and with swaying that can definitely be intensified.
I can't claim to know what it's like to struggle with fertility but I do have a lot of empathy for those who do struggle or can't conceive at all. Big hugs, I hope this time away has helped you x

Ditto this! I used to seethe when ppl said the got preg without even trying or first cycle... still doesn't set well with me if I am in a certain head space but since getting our BFP with our DD w/o even trying it has gotten a bit better. It's hard to watch ppl get what you want so easily, while you struggle month after month... particularly when you don't think they should have anymore to begin with (In laws... sadly, they lost the baby though :( They didn't need another but I'll never cheer a loss no matter what the circumstances) (((HUGS)))

Not to this extreme AND TWICE. I looked back and I do have ONE chart with a crash and burn style dip mid-LP, though, and it ended in a BFN. I am hoping it's an implant dip... would certainly explain the cramping yesterday! Only time will tell though. :sigh:

It's okay... for me at least. It's hard for me when I am in a certain head space... mostly waiting for and during AF because I am dealing with the whole "another month gone by" thing. But mostly I really do celebrate BFPs for others no matter how quickly or un/intentionally they achieve them. BTDT, I am friends with ppl who have been trying for over a decade with no luck and had to tell them about my surprise BFP with my DD... that wasn't fun but they took it okay. You really can be overjoyed for someone else and sad for yourself! Also, we all know that sometimes we are thrown a curve ball and sometimes we have to vent it all out to process and become okay with it :) No harm, no foul as far as I am concerned :D

The next several cycles are going to be crowding somebody's b-day in my house. This cycle it's my youngest's, next cycle it'll be mine and the following will be my oldest's. If they were all crammed into one month... maybe I'd choose to skip, but I honestly don't think I could/would. Think of it this way. Instead of 3 individual b-days maybe do one big blowout a year as a present to all of them (go to a fair, chuck e cheese, etc.) and have private cake and ice cream celebrations at home so they each still get there own special day!? Just a thought!

That's how it was growing up for me. Most of my cousins and I are summer babies so every weekend we'd get together and have a huge cookout and pool party to celebrate all the b-days that week! It was awesome! We loved it!!

Man, now I feel like a jacka** for coming in here complaining that I potentially got pg without trying just because the timing isn't what I'd prefer. If it makes you ladies feel any better- I might *get* pg easily, but I struggle with *staying* pregnant. 2 miscarriages (1 early and 1 missed mc at around 14 weeks) a 34 week preemie for completely unknown reasons and 4 weeks of bedrest to deliver my first at term. That's something I wouldn't wish on even my worst enemy.

Thanks ladies!! It's dry now and looks exactly the same to me as wet... sometimes I think I can see and sometimes I don't think I can. Hopefully, if a line really is there, it'll be darker tomorrow morning... it would kinda have to be! I've been crazy thirsty all day so been drinking tons and didn't do a hold. So if it's not darker in the AM with undiluted urine then I'm going to have a hard time believing it's real because that would make no sense. Yeah, there is the difference in sensitivity in each test and all but there HAS to be a good difference between completely diluted and undiluted urine. :fingers:

ETA: Heading to bed now. Hopefully I get a good night's sleep tonight and can really get everything good and concentrated.

Are you using a basal (0.00) therm? Flat lines are pretty common with 0.0 therms. try taking your temp during the day. If it's a vastly diff temp then it's prob accurate, if it's not or way off it may be time to change the battery.

IF you can I'd wait as one day may or may not make a huge difference especially if your urine is more or less concentrated than today then you may end up stressed out over nothing. I'd leave it till Monday so you know hcgs had 48 hours to double, triple etc :)

The other thing I've been feeling too is envy of all these 1st month ttc successes lol. My two sisters fell so easily too - my oldest sister only had to be looked at by her dh and she was pregnant and my other sister fell 1st then 2nd month when conceiving hers. Me I was 4 months with first and 6 with second and that was charting, using opks and a gazillion attempts lol. So I'm hoping for some middle ground and attempt no 5 ttc will do the trick :) I also know I shouldn't complain as it takes others so much longer it's just that swaying is exhausting in a way????

Totally my SILs where all oops pregnancy not even trying. Got there pigeon pairs and done. I started with some other ladies in my sons DIG and they have now started having their babies and I'm still not pregnant. Also took my a year Ttc with DS2 [emoji17][emoji17][emoji17]

Try switching it to "Fertility Awareness" (same place as over ride) if that doesn't work you'll just have to over ride it

With my CP the HPT never got very dark and faded quickly. With my DD it took DAYS for me to see a progression but my hormones were increasing better than expected! So try not to worry, but I am worried right along side you lol.

Two, I hope you get your twins! I have dreamed of identical twin girls for 30 years. I would LOVE twins, but I've given up on that pipe dream and I'll settle for one baby girl instead ;)

Here are my tests. Started to see something Thursday night on the wondfo after a 5-6 hour hold, but they're not getting any darker. That first FRER with FMU looked almost like an evap, but I took another at 4pm and it was about as dark (if not a little darker) than this morning's. I hope it's not another chemical. But this obsession is why I promised myself I wouldn't test before 12dpo. Um, yeah. Identicals

Identicals kinda scare me lol. If you've ever watched full house.. the sceen where Jesse mixes up the twins and can't remember who is who... yeah that'd prob be me lol. Not to mention my SIL's sister has identical twins and they are several years old and I STIL can't tell them apart lol.

As far as the tests, I see one FRER was taken at 10 DPO with FMU but is the other 11 DPO? If so that is fantastic progression!! WAY better than I had with my DD. Always remember that it takes 48 hours for hormones to double even if this morning's (assuming 11 DPO) isn't darker than last night's it's still way darker than 10 DPO!! As for the ICs, are those ALL FMU?

If you are only 3 DPO baby hasn't even implanted yet :bigsmile: Don't give up just yet! heck I was about 75% sure I was out this cycle and got a BFP!! Hopefully the time passes quickly for you! :fingers: for your BFP!

I O'd with my DD and atomic says she did with her DD too :) sounds like you mught be Oing or getting ready to! 1 cheat day never killed a sway... unless you know it's day 1 of sway... then it's not really a sway lol. Are you OPK testing?

OMG OMG OMG 2 BFPs since yesterday!!! I am so so excited to log on to see this, I really have a feeling thats just the tip of the iceberg girls ;) MAHOOOOSIVE congrats Two and Bee!! Delighted fo you ladies, I hope to be joining the June/July/Aug thread at some stage!!! FXed!!!

I don't use OPKs Two, I find them SO stressful. I used them on the boys and kinda feel like I just want to be as un-Martha about this whole experience as I can be. I was, in the words of my DH, ttc "military style" when trying for the boys!! Oops lol. I usually O on day 21 of my cycle, today is day 25 BUT I was expecting to be messed up this cycle as vacation ALWAYS messes with my cycles and either shortens them or lengthens them. I had what I thought was the start of EWCM last Saturday evening, took a Zyrtek in anticipation of getting an attempt in before having to go away for work for the week but it didn't happen. Have had NO EWCM at ALL since that little bit last Saturday, which wasn't even super stretchy but maybe the amount of time I'm on diet is starting to affect my usually abundant CM....I'm half afraid to hope! Had completely resigned myself to being out of the running this month...I mean I'm sat here after scarfing down my super fat filled ice cream and feel twinges around my right ovary and darts down my hoo-haw. I'm wondering if I'm half imagining it or if it might be AF gearing up cause maybe my cycle is shorter than usual this month instead of longer like I anticipated!

No Bee, I couldn't chart hun, unfortunately my DS2 wakes every night (at 19 months you'd think he'd quit it!) and some nights I might be lucky to get 4 hours unbroken sleep so temping is a non runner for me.

Well after reviewing my apps and when i had my 1st positive opk i am actually at 5dpo today. So i probably won't test til mid week. Just some cramping happening otherwise not alot really except wishing time away 😂😂

Nope, not at all. The cervix does change during pregnancy but you'll get a BFP long before that :)

I'm sorry! I have PCOS too which is why I started charting. I was TTC and could never figure out what was going on with my cycle. :hug2: :fingers: for your BFP!

Ok, so DH wanted me to use a FRER today so we bought another pack and I ended up using 2 this morning. One was stark white and the other was identical to yesterday's (though you can't tell it in pics... I had much better luck getting pics yesterday. I hate the shiny layer on FRER. Makes it hard to get pics of squinters). Also, I took an IC and a walmart cheapy. The IC is definitely darker than yesterday's... didn't/don't even need to bust out the flash light to see it (low lighting, I get migraines if the light is too bright) and the walmart cheapy has a line too which surprised the HECK out of me!! I tried to get one pic of all of them but because of FRERs shininess and the fact that they are kinda squinty I didn't have any luck, so I apologize for all the pics :oops:

Guys, stupid AF hasn't appeared yet. For the past two days, I swear she's coming - that's why I took myself out of the 2WW running. Have had the little twisty cramps and some pulling down in that area, needed to eat a donut and some pizza... you know, all the signs! But every time I wipe (sorry, tmi) she's not there. I was expecting her 2 days ago.

My temps have been high for the past 3 days (up to the 98s from days hanging around 97.5s) but since I started using FF/temping so late in the game, it likely doesn't mean anything. However, due to those 3 high temps, FF is convinced I just O'ed on CD39. Not according to solid smiley OPK way back on CD25 (so O around CD25-27)! If I go by the OPK date, then the temp rise happened on 14DPO. BAH! I'm just praying AF comes soon so I can get started on a new cycle :pray::pray:
