Good night ladies, see you all tomorrow!!

May 18th, 2012, 07:44 PM
Skrimpy, your DH sounds like me! I am such a pack rat, and I hate getting rid of stuff! Last time we moved, DH "lost" a few boxes, and he swears they are still in our storage shed, but I know he threw them out.

I love that you are calling your baby Riceball! That is really cute. :) Good luck selling your house--hope it goes fast! Clearing out stuff really does help; we did that when we sold our last house and it sold to the 3rd person who looked at it. :)

Lol Hobber DH will be at work while I do most of the unpacking and I will be honest, some of that stuff is probably moving from one box to another and discreetly heading to Goodwill :p

That is so awesome that your house sold quickly, I am really hoping ours will. It will take a huge weight off our shoulders if it does. They say property in our city is pretty hot this spring so I hope that's true for us. Some rooms could really use updating... I hope that doesn't deter buyers. That's the biggest thing I worry about, but I hope somebody sees potential based on what we've done thus far!

Sorry about your cat TTC. I think as suspected this was false labor. BUT geez that took it out of. I was contracting 4-6 mins apart for about 8 hours. It never got any worse, but strong enough to take my breath away. So annoying, but I am thankful, I am barely going to be 37 weeks. He needs more time. Im ready for bed!

Last night was just horrific to see our cat go through such suffering. And she must have been outside for a few hours in the cold waiting to be found and that makes me so so sad :(

DH came home from the vet and was bawling his eyes out and he never cries.

DD is ok, she refused to leave the vet room even when they intubated her, saw her having seizures and go in to respitory/cardiac arrest. It was tech. her cat although we got her 2 weeks after my sister passed away she was like a healing therapy for us :'(

Her whole body has shut down and the vet said we could continue with the intubation etc or to inject her to put her asleep peacefull. We chose to let her go with the injection and put her out of the pain than have her pass in more pain.

So sad :(

i don't think anyone was trying to be mean or cruel. i took it as a joke, but really i think we all cared, i did anyway. it just you forget to log in for 1 day and there are like 4 or 5 pages to go back and read through. unless the kids are calm some of us don't have time to go back and read for pages and pages. im still trying to finish a library book i've had for about 3 months now.still on chapter 3!

We are all excited to hear the gender of your baby, and everyone is rooting for you. I am really sorry you felt ignored. :hugs: Things do move fast on those threads, and a lot of time I post stuff that doesn't get replied to either.

Nasty was never meant in a mean way and I don't literally mean you are nasty...it was said affectionately as a joke!! I really care about you and your dream for a little boy...and I will be thrilled if this is your little man, as much as I will be thrilled if I get one too. As I will also be here to support you if it's girl #5...cause I have been there and know how that feels too :hugs:

Wow, ruff day,

Flava: Like what everyone else said, I think you are one the top ones everyone is rooting for. You have had perfect sways and still got a girl, so everyone is just rooting for you to have that little man you long for. We all understnad waiting until birth, though. I hope you feel bette.

Hobber: We have not completely decided on a name yet, either Gideon Raymond or Gabriel Raymond. We may even change it after we look at him....who knows. Did you guys already pick names? I can't remember.

ELP: How is Davey already 2 months old?!?! Sounds like you son did good even with a win. Do your other sons box also?

TTC5: I am so sorry about your cat. Animals are so special.

skrimpy: I love the nickname. We called DD1 pacman, because the first u/s looked like it.

Tink: I hope you are getting rest.

We did our monthly grocery shopping today and I started have conx at the last stop. Thank goodness they have died down. I was getting a little nervous. I have never had preterm labor. Now, time to finish packing my bags for the hospital and get them in the car.

Flava I think all of us just got excited knowing you know because we all so badly want you to have your blue dream come true, and the thought that *maybe* we could be celebrating that good news for you is what made everyone jump in on wanting to know. I'm sure everyone wants what is best FOR YOU and if it's best for you to wait til birth then we all support that.

TTC5 I'm so sorry about your cat; such a sad story!

SKRIMPY!!! Can't believe you're preggers again, I LOVE IT! :) FX for blue, and if not blue then NO GD! So excited for you and Riceball; here's hoping it's a perfectly lovely pregnancy in every way. You and your DH sound like me + mine... seriously we hesitate to touch if we're not wanting to have a baby, LOL. We joke that I shouldn't even use the bathroom after him ;)

WP! Your ticker got me all excited ... 31 days! So fun!

And happy birthday to all you May babies! My DD2 turned 3 at the beginning of the month.

Baby Michael is doing AWESOME!!!

Can't believe DD3 is 10 weeks old now. She's sleeping thru the night consistently now and I still can't believe it; both of her sisters had me up 2-3 times a night at this age. She's a dreamy little thing and definitely makes me want one more little one. I will say though we were out today all 5 of us and she had on a blue dress and some old lady said what a sweet boy, and it gave my heart a little ache. Wouldn't change her of course but oh.... there's still just a hole in my heart waiting for a DS :(

Hey Ladies! Remember me lol

Things have been crazy for us. Charlie is getting so big, he's almost 3 1/2 months now and still not sleeping well. He eats constantly which puts my big butt on the couch for several hours each morning. We almost moved for dh's job but at damn near the last minute it fell through. I had about 1/4 of my house packed up so I had to unpack and get settled again. I'm catching up a bit but simply cannot go back all those pages lol If I missed anything please update me

5 - OMG Congrats!!!!! So excited for you! I'll have to go look at the pics!! So sorry about your cat, poor dd :(

Tink - You are so close!! Can't wait to see pics of baby Zane!

Skrimpy - Congrats on your BFP!!!

Flava - Sorry you've been upset hun. So glad your little bean in doing well and, though we are dying to know, you announce whenever you are ready :bighugs:

B - I had that happen though I will never understand why, dd3 was in a denim jumper with a pink shirt, a pink bow in her hair and little pink sandals. Some lady commented on my cute son, I was a little hurt but mostly terribly amazed she missed so many details lol

Girlmom - Almost 34 weeks, you are awesome!!

Happy Birthday to all those May ladies and babies :)

You and your DH sound like me + mine... seriously we hesitate to touch if we're not wanting to have a baby, LOL. We joke that I shouldn't even use the bathroom after him ;)

Thank you Begonia!! I'm really thrilled to be pg after such a hard time with Honor. You gals mean so much to me and I appreciate the support that I got while pg with her so much :). I am praying so hard for no GD this time around, but it's tough isn't it, no matter how you feel before you know. Things are better now, having sweet Honor has really helped me a lot. I still want a little guy so badly though.

I can't believe your precious girl is 10 weeks! So glad she's a sweetie for you, my third was also a little angel that left me wanting more (and now I'm on #6 lol, watch out if your DH is in the bathroom :p)

I know how you feel about those little comments and things. I really enjoy dressing Honor and even looking at girl clothes (I've come such a long way in a year, lol!) - but I still feel that twinge when I look at baby boy stuff. I have a little navy blue cap that matches a couple of Honor's dresses and have had someone mistake her for a boy when she was tucked down in the baby carrier. It does leave a longing there.

I hope if you guys decide to go for another LO you will get that little DS-shaped hole in your heart filled.

Ty again for the congrats and the update on you!

skrimpy
May 20th, 2012, 06:55 PM
Oh! And 3P1B's story reminded me... with DD1 lol. I was taking her into church when she was around a year old. She was wearing a pink dress. I mean pink with lace, ruffles, and all that jazz, ladies. She didn't have much hair at that point though. But, still, she was dressed to the nines in pink. The usher greeting us at the door patted her on the head and said "what a cute little boy!"

This is 100% a true story, LOL. I laughed about it even then  I just keep wondering how he managed that blunder :p

Oh, I have an opposite story about my DS! I waited a LONG time to cut his hair when he was little because he had these beautiful curls. WHen he was about 18 months old, I had him in the grocery cart with DD1. He was wearing camo pants and a shirt with a truck on it, and some old man asked DD1 how old her sister was! She very bossily told him, "That's my BROTHER!!" It was pretty funny.

3P1B my DD3 is a cluster feeder also... during the day it is every 2 hours still but thankfully she goes 8-10 hours at night w/o it. But right now she's sucking away, lol. And smiling at me. Nursing is pretty sweet :awe:

Skrimpy ITA the support here is great. I still can't really read the TTC boy thread, but this one is easier for me :) FX we're getting to cheer your blue news this pregnancy though... your diet sure looked spot on!

Love all the stories about the babies getting identified incorrectly  People just have to say something so do without even paying attention I reckon!

37 weeks Tink, whooo hooo! You and WP are racing to the finish :)

B: 10 wks, time sure does fly. I bet you look great already too huh?

3p1b: You and B both remind me of how fast all this goes. It seems like a month ago you had Charlie, not 3.5 months. Before long this baby will be here and I will have no excuse for having a big belly....lol.

Thanks for asking about me 5, just normal bh conx off and on. It must have been from all the walking on Saturday. I got the curtain done and up, the room is done being painted. Washed the bedding today and I just have a few more things to hang up in his room. THEN, I will take some pics and maybe even a belly shot.....fully covered :) I am going to get a cheap pair of flip flops to put in my hospital bag, because I forgot shoes last time. I was not thinking straight at 1am and 10cm before I got to the hospital.

Doc appt tomorrow, I have to do they group B strep test....I thought I may have my midwife go ahead and check me, but I don't want her to get anything started.....hmmm.

Wow I just caught up on pages and pages and pages of this thread :)

Flava, I somehow missed the CVS news too on the due date thread. I'm sure it was there, and I really am sorry if you felt that no one cared about your news. We really do care  I'm sure we are all still dying to know, but you'll tell us when/if you want to, I can respect that. We really all just trying to cheer you on, and the only problem with a forum like this is sometimes tone can be mistaken. Trust me, we are all supportive of you. For what it is worth, I think your baby is a boy, and if you wanna tell us, you'll us know if my feeling is right or not.

RE gender ID mistakes: our DS1 is such a pretty boy and I love when he has his blonde curls grow out some too, but whenever i do that, even if he's rocking a dino shirt and shorts, ppl will glance and say what a cute little girl. So now I try to keep his hair shorter and more "boy" looking but gosh I do love his curls!

Begonia, I still feel in my heart that you will one day have a 4th! You will be like 3Pink1Blue :)

update for me: i had an u/s today and weight is on my side! baby michael is 5lbs exactly, so i was really excited to hear that. plus i finally got a measurment on my cervix. it stayed the same! i guess the normal cervix is 4cm, docs usually dont' freak out until 2cm. mine has been measuring 2mm and after 10 weeks its still holding up. michaels head was right on it and the only way to see any of it was with a vaginal u/s but i must say im pretty darn proud of my cervix!

Oh hun, I know. Lots of us know. FX for blue. FWIW I have had 4 friends with 2DD have DS this year. It happens all.the.time even without swaying, so don't lose hope. That little prune in your belly might have a willy

And yep, a full body-length profile shot is what you want. Honestly it's tricky to get a good shot, babe can't be rolling away, spine needs to be straight, etc ... but if you ask for a full profile shot you might get lucky and have a good idea to nubsess over. Although I think in some ways, for me, it was a blessing not to have seen the nub early. That would have given me an extra 4 weeks of the atrocious GD I had

dloui: Good, a nub shot. I don't know squat about guessing, but would love to hear what everyone else says.

girlmom: Wow, still holding in there. You have some great willpower.

B: I have been working hard at knocking out my "to do" list. DH has been so busy at work this week so far, that the room is sitting idle now. This weekend we should make some more progress.

I had a great appt. Baby is head down, but not lined up with my cervix....kind of kaddy-corner sitting on the left side of my pelvic bone. I asked my midwife not to check me since I still have 4 wks to go. Maybe next week I'll see where my cervix is, then start the EPO.

OMG!!!! Congratulations Tink!!!! That is a great weight for being early. Just think how big he would have been if you went in a couple wks. I can not wait to see some pics.

Tink's delivery really makes me wonder if I should let my midwife do a cervix sweep next week. Dh is going to be about 2 hrs away at a manditory class the week of my due date. The last 2 were born on or right before their due date and my labor was only 1.5 hr last time. And that is making my midwife think a cervix sweep is a good idea, plus he seems a little big. I just don't know though. Like we have discussed before, it usually only works if the baby is ready, but I have a lot of things on my to do list.

What do you ladies think? Wait until 38 wks? Go ahead next week?

WP, I am all for the sweep. I had it done with DD2. I think you would be fine to go a little early if your baby is measuring big, and if your labors are that quick and your DH will be out of town, I think it would be good to get things moving!

Thank you everyone, we are on cloud 9. I just can't get over, my SON is here.

His Birth Story:

Ok, So as you all know Water broke and so on...So here is the update from about 3:00PM, since water had been broken, nothing major had been goin on. SO around 3 contractions were close by not terrible and we decided to go to hospital because I HAD SO MUCH pressure it was making me nervous. We check in, get a room water gushes big time with in about 4 mins of being on birth ball and in my room. After that last gush, The shit hit the fan. I just had so much pressure, it's all I kept saying..."pressure" They checked me I am at 3CM still Wow great...so they say we will check you again around 7, since your water is broken we don't want to risk infection. BAck labor kicks in hardcore...I am laboring with just keith and my god my back is killing me!! I just kept saying "Fire, Fire across my back" 7PM hits finally and I am at 4. I am stunned and really dissapointed as I just remembered Ava's birth and felt like, Here we go again. stalled at 4 with back labor. I got really discouraged and started crying. Keith was SO amazing. Told me we can do this and really helped me through that moment. It was just the 2 of us and it was so special. I am rocking back and fourth, keith is holding me and telling me how amazing I am touching my face, just being so hot! At this point, I just wanted to sit. I needed a break. When I went to sit, I couldn't I felt like I was sitting on his head. I laid on my side and put my leg up and the pressure was insane. I told Keith, I think he is coming. He looked and I was pooping all over the bed! haha so hot. After the poop show, It just progressed so fast...it was about 7:20 I told the nurse, Im ready he is coming...she said we cant check you till 8. I said screw checking me, I AM READY. He is coming now, She went to get doctor. Doctor refused to let me push until i was checked and she was annoyed that I said I was ready 20 mins after last check...um because this is my fault right? Anyway, they make me wait till 7:54 to check me again and I am moaning at this point with all the pressure. Low and behold I am complete. I was honestly Stunned...with Ava took me 2 1/2 hours to get from 9 1/2 to 10! 4-10 in less then an hour! OMG At 8:04 I begin pushing, on my side, gave 3 pretty good pushes head is out...Wrapped my arms around Keith and Gave the biggest push of my life....He was born at 8:13PM . My husband was the most amazing support. Zane was born with just Keith and I in the room. We both cried so hard. Zane laid with me for about 45 mins. I nursed him, we cut the cord. They wiped him down a bit and in came Big Sister to be the first person to hold him. When she saw her brother I just burst out crying. It was the sweetest moment ever. It's actually my profile pic now. I feel so lucky and SO blessed to have 2 beautiful babies and best husband ever. It was a great birth (aside from the 7-8 BS) whatever it is what it is...I am very happy. he is nursing so good and he is SOOO squishy!

Tink: I am so glad you posted your birth story. Every labor has it's ups and downs and yours has a lot of ups. I love having alone time with hubby while in labor. My oldest DD wants to be there this time and we still have not decided....she is 12.

Hobber: No reason to be impressed, I just have to keep moving or else the house to look like a dump. I have to say though, I felt like I was going to die after cleaning the furniture. I have a "to do" list and I really want things nice and together when this little guy comes, otherwise when I feel up to cleaning again after baby it may be so bad that I can not get it back under control. The children all help with chores, but we have a big house.

We went to the flea market today and walked around in the heat, so DH could get a pig and I am sooo tired. I feel like it should be bed time. We have every weekend planned, so I don't get stir crazy. It just doesn't seem like it is getting so close.

girlmom: Congrats on 35 wks and DD birthday. I am amazed you have made it this far. I bet that will be the last time your family sees you pregnant.

Hobber: I don't love to clean, but it has to be done. The children do some of the chores with me and it makes it sooo much more fun and goes quickier with so many hands. Plus, I have so many happy memories of us all cleaning together, they just think it is the best fun and I know they are learning things that will stick with them forever.

Had my midwife appt today..... 2cm and baby is head down. I did a little shopping and had lunch with DH before coming home to reality. I would love to have the baby soon, but my brother comes home from Afganistan on Friday and don't want to miss his party on Saturday. Maybe after then.......lol. We all know they come when they are ready. My midwife did suggest that I start using EPO, so tonight I'll start.

Hobber: yes, I always look like all baby, BUT I am not. I have a small frame, so I just look small. I have gained about 20 pds during this pregnancy, but I gained 10 pds while swaying. I am just really blessed with a fast metbolism.....although it has slowed a lot in the past few years. It normally takes me about 6-12 months to get all the baby weight off, last time I never did get it all off. I have the best time being pregnant and not worrying about my wastline...lol.

i was a bad girl. i decided i was done with meds and doctors and bedrest. so i canceled my doc app. and i stopped taking my meds.... yes i know, you can all spank me later. but im 36 weeks tomorrow! and i really have been a good girl up until now. but omg it was wonderful... my mind was clear, i wasn't all foggy and loopy. i went for a walk... outside!!! then i had to go grocery shopping. when i did get a little hot and dizzy but im not used to all that. i got home and started contracting badly. but i didn't want to go in. so i stuck it out. about 8 or 9pm i took a hot bath and it really seemed to help and i went to bed early. i woke up for one of my million trips per night to the bathroom and i was bleeding. not sure if thats good or not. but i decided as i wasn't in any pain not to wake everyone. this morning the bleeding has stopped but now im starting to contract again. maybe i'll go in and make sure everything is ok. but gosh it was nice not to have to take any meds or pills or sit for hours in docs offices while docs shove their fingers up me and try to guess if im a 4 or a 5.

I am still 2cm, but a little more thinned out (eye rolling). I figured my cervix would be a little more dilated. My midwife did do the cervix sweep and I was having major contractions, but now they are back to normal. If he is ready he will come, if not, I would like to wash everyones bedding, the car, and clean out the laundry room. I know sounds crazy, but I have to stay busy.

Oh, I almost forgot, yesterday I got my first varicose vein ever and it is in my groin area.....I thought I was going to die!!! It hurt so bad everytime I stood up yesterday. Today it is a little better. My midwife took a look and said I should stay off my feet and elevate them if possible.....hahaha. I will try my best, but sitting drives me crazy. I have a ton of girl clothes saved from DD2, so if by some crazy chance I actually DO get a boy, I will need boy stuff. I have a friend with a baby boy who said she would pass stuff on if I need it. I will take a girl outfit and a boy one to the hospital.... I will leave the tags on the boy outfit, though, because I am pretty sure I won't get to use it. :( For bedding, we have a co-sleeper and just a bunch of random sheets for it, and the baby will be in our room for a year or two (DD2 is still in there!) so I am not doing any decorating.

I am just really blessed with a fast metbolism.....although it has slowed a lot in the past few years. It normally takes me about 6-12 months to get all the baby weight off, last time I never did get it all off. I have the best time being pregnant and not worrying about my wastline...lol.

TTC5: So, your baby just really big or did they change your due date?

girlmom: Yep, we need an update!!!

I am so excited, I ordered a new going home outfit for the baby and it is coming today!!! It is Petit Ami brand and so classic looking, It will be my last addition to the hospital bag. Tomorrow is my OB appt, I will let you guys know if the EPO did any wonders in a week :)

No he is big, we know my dates from hcg tests early on.

i was a bad girl. i decided i was done with meds and doctors and bedrest. so i canceled my doc app. and i stopped taking my meds.... yes i know, you can all spank me later. but im 36 weeks tomorrow! and i really have been a good girl up until now. but omg it was wonderful... my mind was clear, i wasn't all foggy and loopy. i went for a walk... outside!!! then i had to go grocery shopping. when i did get a little hot and dizzy but im not used to all that. i got home and started contracting badly. but i didn't want to go in. so i stuck it out. about 8 or 9pm i took a hot bath and it really seemed to help and i went to bed early. i woke up for one of my million trips per night to the bathroom and i was bleeding. not sure if thats good or not. but i decided as i wasn't in any pain not to wake everyone. this morning the bleeding has stopped but now im starting to contract again. maybe i'll go in and make sure everything is ok. but gosh it was nice not to have to take any meds or pills or sit for hours in docs offices while docs shove their fingers up me and try to guess if im a 4 or a 5.

I would def go in if your bleeding!!

Jen: OMG.....Charlie is sooooo cute. 4 months already, time sure does fly. What kind of pacis did your get?

girlmom: I don't blame you. And 36 wks is great, especially coming as far as you have. GL, I can't wait to see baby pics, I am sure he will be here soon.

I think this little guy just needs to come and then I don't have to worry about it....lol.

Keep up with the EPO!

I know what the veins are like I have them inside and out :'(

Question ladies, Is 38 Weeks too early for scheduled C-Section?

I know Tink had her baby boy at 37 weeks and he was a healthy big boy!

What ya think? I would love to hear your opinions ladies?

MFC, what does your doctor think? I know I had DD1 at 38 weeks (not C section or induced, she just came early) and she was healthy and 7 lb 11 oz. Both my others were born at 39 weeks on the dot, and were fine as well. I think 37 weeks is considered "fully cooked", so 38 should be fine?

3Pink1Blue: Charlie is such a handsome ham!! So cute and your girls are gorgeous too! Thanks for sharing the pictures!

I have varicose vein on my left calf from DS1....and I have some really bad spider veins by my ankles from DS2....all this baby is doing is making the already existing vein issues look worst, rofl.

Anyone heard from Girlmom lately? wonder if she had baby Michael!

Hobber, I think it is exciting that you are wating...what a surprise at birth just to be handed a gorgeous baby! I am way too impatient for that...but bravo to you!! I am still imagining a baby in blue for you!

TTC5: I bet you go early again with such a big baby.

3p1b: So your varicose veins went away after birth? I sure hope mine do some days are better than others.

Still no change (I just love typing that out....blah), my conx are getting stronger, but they are all over the map. DH says Sunday would be a good day to have the baby....lol....yeah okay I'll keep him in just for you. DH is working a few security jobs this week and he is afraid the baby will come then. So I posted my 13 week nub shots and although alot of people said boy I just really feel it is a girl. DH wants to be team green but mentally I don't think I can handle that, if this is a girl I need to mentally prepare myself so by the time she gets here I am ok with everything. So do you think it is wrong if I find out gender and just not tell anyone? DH isn't firm on being team green he just thought it would "be fun" I don't find it fun, its giving me anxiety, I just need to know either way so I can prepare and get over it.

Are you going to find out and not tell DH? I tried that last time, but when I found out it was a girl, I was so upset he made me tell him what was wrong (he thought there was something wrong with the baby). But if you are having a boy, then I bet you can keep the secret, because you will be happy! Just don't let him see all the blue stuff you buy. :)

in the meantime im off all meds and off bedrest!! i went shopping yesterday and some lady stopped me and said, "omg i hope you are having twins or triplets, because i've never seen anyone this big." so now im going back to bed to hide until the end of this pregnancy.

WP - Within a few days of delivery the varicose veins on my labia were no longer achy but still slightly protruded until 6-7 weeks after delivery. When I got my IUD at 8 weeks my midwife commented they were almost completely gone.
I don't nest at the end but I'm usually so huge by then there's no moving around lol

TTC5 - I bet you'll be having a pretty big boy too based on how you are already measuring. I was 2 weeks big with Charlie and he was my biggest baby by 1lb 9oz!

Tink - 10oz in 16 days, that's some good milk momma!

Hope.ful - Welcome back hun!

doui - After dashing my hope with Ramzi's theory (Charlie was firmly secured on the left) I refused to look at and/or obsess over the nub. And fwiw I hoped Charlie was a boy but I was positive I would hear girl, I remember taking my 20 week belly shot the day before the u/s and thinking this will be the last day I'll be happy and hopeful because tomorrow I'll be dealing with the reality of my last baby being my 4th girl. You're a few weeks from being able to see actual goods, try to relax and wait till then to be too excited or upset.

Girlmom - glad all is still good and you're good to go! I feel your pain, I got so many comments about my size "Are they sure there's only one in there?" Several people were convinced Charlie had a brother hiding in there lol

Thanks everyone for your sweet comments on the pics :)
The last few days Charlie has been sleeping even worse then usual if you can imagine and he's been snotty, clingy, extra fussy and running a slight fever. I assumed he had a cold but me neighbor asked if he was teething. 4 kids and it never occurred to me at 4 months he could be teething lol I googled it and it's very possible so I looked at his little gums and sure enough, little white lines under the gums! He's not only got one coming through but the other bottom front is right behind it! No wonder he's been a grouch, poor little fella. Poor Mommy too, I wasn't prepared for bitten nipples just yet lol

it sucks, I guess a nub shot can go either way depending on the way the baby is laying, after 20 mins of trying to get the baby to move(its back was to us) the tech asked me if I could get up and jump up and down to try and get the baby to move, and even then the kid would not cooperate lol. i have it, but i don't have to take insulin. if it gets too out of whack i take these little pills but pricking my finger after every meal gets a little old. mine is pretty much controlled by watching what i eat, carbs are the enemy, they turn into sugar, but you need some. im allowed 30grams of carbs in the morning and like 60 in the evenings. at post-partum check up i always test normal. yes it can lead to big babies and excess fluid.

Hi ladies.. You're not going to believe this but I had my sweet little boy at 33w2d, early and unexpected.
I just feel so emotional and sad right now :(. My son is doing good but I still can't help it, he's not coming home with me. Please please pray he will soon.

baby Michael was born 6/14. at exactly 37 weeks. 8lbs 2oz! had a doc app. that morning and the nurse noticed i was walking funny and breathing heavy. she took me to a room and i heard her tell the doc to see me next as she thought i was in labor. doc came straight in and said we can talk later, first i want to check you. i said whatever, im still a 5cm. nope 6cm and a bag about to pop.

she said lets go have a baby! i ran home to get my bag and was back at the hospital in half an hour. doc met me and checked me again. stretchy 7cm already. hubby showed up and she broke my water. i did get an epidual becasue the doc was in the room next door and he was leaving to go home, so it was now or never and i was in pain. about an hour later i had a baby in my arms.

he had some trouble with bllod sugars, i didn't eat all day and so when he was born his blood sugars were extreamly low. so they put him on an i.v. drip of sugar water for 24 hours. now he's normal and everything looked good but then he started to turn yellow. his jaundice is boarderline so we go back tomorrow for more blood work but at least we are home for the night. it feels so good to be able to bend over, pick up my daughters, not have swollen feet, be able to breath! he was a good size for 37 weeks exactly, im so glad i didn't go to 40+.
