Yeah its spd my fella came with my to physio not much chance of falling as he won't let me move they have been a good help so far but I will be careful as I'm a novice on Them

I would take the sweep also I go over but if baby is in a good position they will induce at 39 weeks depending on if head is in so the cord doesn't come first so I'm just praying in ready

But I know these babies need to stay in longer for their health so I am trying my hardest to rest and keep them in.

Got back from appt. 3.5cm. Stripped my membranes. Said should put me in labor in 24 hrs or so. Even if that doesn't work they are calling me with a time to come in by end of week and be induced. Thurs or Friday.

angel pink yep I had it both pregnancies! You can use the birth ball and I HIGHLY recommend it even for at home right now. It was the only thing taking away the pain for me especially while I labored at home. The biggest thing to watch is that you do not let anyone pull your legs apart farther than your SPD can handle or you risk tearing the SP itself (if that happens you are wheelchair bound til it heals)! Especially if you plan on an epidural because then you cant feel how far you went and can over do it. Put your hands under your knees and pull your legs to your chest YOURSELF when you push don't let them do it for you. Or use a birth bar across the bed and pull yourself up to push. Basically don't let them move your legs past the bad point and you will be just fine!

I can't even imagine missxo. I know how hard it was with one baby at the end of the pregnancy and I bet two is just unbelievable!

I watched my mom go through a twin pregnancy. She is very petite and she was huge. She couldn't do anything for the last 3 months. It seemed like I walked past her sewing room every day watching her add a new panel to her support pantyhose the last few months. When she went for her induction the twins were 3 weeks early and each was over 6.5 lbs at birth. She said when the doctor broke her water it was a massive gush of fluid because of all the pressure. She said that was all it took and she was in labor. Can you even imagine people like Kate Gosselin who had 6 babies at once??? That is just unimaginable!!

Hang in there...you'll have those sweet babies and your longed for girl in no time!!

And I cant imagine what you'r going through to have two in there ! The last month was so hard with only one baby !

He was 170 on Saturday , his Dr said the dangrous level is 300+.
I will try to visit the Dr again , my husband is a way for few days though.

Yeah my DS3 was over the high dangerous levels, my breastmilk didn't come in rite away and his liver wasnt flushing properly. We had to rush him to the closest children's hospital near us, he was admitted and put under the lights to help him and also was given every other feeding formula to help too. The doctors in the NICU talked about giving him a an operation where they would take out all his blood and give him new blood, he also had to have many tests done to make sure he wasnt going blind or death because of it. He stayed there for a little over a week and he was about a week when he went in. So scary but he is fine and extremely smart and healthy now.

I dont want to scare you, but definitely make sure its being monitored because it can go up really quick..

Spd is symphysis pubis dysfunction basically all the ligaments in the pelvis are over stretched causing awful pain leaving me bound in a wrap on crutches and as nahri said wheel chair bound if I cause any more damage x

Thanks nahri I'm not having epidural gonna stick with gas and air I did read an nhs thing late last night that said the balls are great for pelvis tilt and pelvic floor exercises so ill be blowing mine up in the morning x

Thats okay, and its twins thats why its so much already, my largest was 9lbs 1oz and I delivered a week early vaginally. As long as the twins stay in their positions and dont go into distress they will be delivered vaginally also.

jaundice is no fun business! My son had it most likely because of the gestational diabetes even though it was well controlled. He looked like someone colored him in with a highlighter! DD didnt end up with it thankfully. Doesn't have to be direct sunlight just a well-lit window 10 minutes 2x a day. One of our windows faced our privacy fence so I put a rocker there and did his morning feedings in front of that window every day and a few daytime feedings too! Cleared up within a week. Feed as much as possible because getting enough liquids will help it go away faster. I was waking him up and feeding him if I had to and he would take it. Just watch for fever and signs of spreading and keep getting the billirubin level checked and if it doesn't improve they will probably do phototherapy which is like tanning bed for babies but hopefully you wont need that!

She's here! Arrived only 3 hours after being induced (super fast) and they had just finished putting in the epidural when I had to push. No time for meds! Oy the pain! But she's perfect. 5lb 13oz 18 3/4 inches. My tiny peanut. Lena Mae born 7/8/15 at 6:49pm

Had an U/S and OB appointment today :) Baby A Boy is 7lbs 4oz, Baby B girl Is 7lbs, I am 35 weeks 5 days, Baby A is low and I am 1cm dilated! Really hope labor starts soon, MY OB said babies are looking GREAT!! And already breathing well :)

I thought I was in Labor last night! Contractions started around 2pm about 20mins apart, than around 3:30 went to 15 mins apart than around 4:30 went to 10mins apart, as the night went on they got as close as 5 mins apart and were pretty painful. Finally got to sleep around midnight they kept on through the night but started to separate in time longer apart again. My body is definitely gearing up, I just hate that it keeps tricking me lol ! I see my doctor again this Monday, going to ask for a sweep :)

We DTD last night, but nothing I woke up at about 2am with cramps maybe? But that was it. I am going to clean my kitchen today hopefully me being on my feet will help some lol.. DH is at work and I texted him this morning and told him that nothing happen and we should try sex again haha!! Mind you we haven't had sex in at least 2 months because I had a fear of it bringing on the babies and We didnt want that.

Put finger up and sweep around inside the cervix and and around it warn him the will be baby head there and to rub gentle around it .....I had been getting my better half just to check my cervix as I'm gonna epo this time and he freaked out last night as last week I was closed and this week he got 2 fingers in and felt his head I did laugh best of luck

Awww loving the baby pics! I'm almost 4 days over due... Lots of aches, cramping and pains for days. But never eventuates to anything. Dr did a stretch and sweep last Wednesday. Still nothing. Both boys were 3 days early, so this little lady is taking her own sweet time. Not keen on being induced...

Congratulations, wantalittleblue! The endorphin rush is amazing once you have that baby and then pain instantly is gone! cant wait to see more pics of new babies! Last night I started to lose my mucus plug, I have never lost it before til I was already in labor at the hospital. I am very excited!! Really hope this means labour is on its way!! I had a ton of contractions yesterday, last night and today also some cramping :) I was 1cm 50% effaced a week ago so hopefully my body is doing what it needs to for these babies to make their way out ;)

Thank you all!! Still cramping and having some contractions but nothing steady anymore :( Finished up some last minute things I had to get done before I deliver today, I am getting so anxious now.. True blue, thank you for your well wishes. They are much appreciated.

A couple of nights ago I thought I was in the early stages of labour. Lots of cramping and the occasional sharp pains through the night. Its settled in the day and cramps began again in the evening. I upped my fluid intake and they went away. So, I have kept my fluids up. 5 days left for me. I have my antenatal appointment today. I am still unsure if I will take a s&s if it's offered to me.

My next antenatal appointment after today isn't till I am 40+2 (this is when miss 5 arrived). All of my labours have been spontaneous. I'm really hoping bub doesn't decide to arrive on Monday. Dh has a very important meeting with a big potential customer. If he can secure them, that would be awesome. I have told dh bub has dates when he can come along. Tomorrow or he has to wait till the 21st or from the 23rd, lol. If only it were that easy.

I had that same talk with DD Boysway. She was to come on a friday or saturday so DH didnt have to try to take time off work lol. Just take it easy the best you can and go all out on the natural labor start methods during the "safe days" lol! PS DD was born on a Friday :D

Having said that I'm getting lots of braxton hicks and lower back ache with period pains so maybe body is starting to get ready for an earlyish delivery!? I agree Sarah. Even the nurses in the hospital were like "what do you have already?" And when I said boy they all said "so perfect now you have a girl" - it's so crazy to see how people react.

But I still wake up every day not believing that my daughter is here and she's really a girl. I really can't thank GD and Atomic enough for the help in planning and going through my sway. I'll never know if it was the swaying or just fate, but I'm still thankful no matter what it was.

We are in the middle of an extension too! Dust everywhere downstairs! Upstairs is fine as not touching it just have to keep every door closed so the dust doesn't travel too much. We have at least 10 more weeks of this too so just got to get on with living with it.
I wouldn't advice you to take EPO as my consultant said its not had enough research into how safe it is. It can cause complications according to him...but it's at your own discretion. He did advise sex everyday if up to it lol and nipple stimulation but only from 37/38 weeks.

36+1 here too! we are renovating as well! i feel enormous:)

we have everything bought and waiting for baby in the spare room, but i still need to get his clothes washed and put away in the dresser in our room. i'm so scared of going into labor before my scheduled c/s! my husband thinks it'll happen this time because of how low bub is sitting.

so funny you guys are talking about the comments you get from people. everyone is so elated for us when i tell them we are having a boy! i almost wonder what it would have been like if we had ended up with another precious girl. i think i would have gotten so many looks of pity, but i'm not going to dwell on it. thankfully we found this site, and through lots of planning and eating and praying, and LUCK, a lot of us got our GD. we still haven't chosen a name for this little guy which is hysterical because we had the girls' names picked out months in advance. you'd think after all of that work, we'd at least have a name!

next appointment in three days. really hoping my doctor does an ultrasound to tell us how big the baby is and how he's positioned, i might just beg him for one:)

Belleboi and Ugee I can not believe we are at the same stage and doing renovations ha ha we must all be crazy! I still have four more months at a guess before its finished but it had to be done at some point!
Ugee I only inserted EPO I did it for my last it doesn't make you dilate any earlier than your body wants you too but 100% made me labour a lot quicker (17 mins start to finish!) my midwife at the time recommended it as I was carrying a whopper of a baby turned out to be nearly 10lb and as I had had a previous section she said it would speed things up and be less stress on my section scar and she was right! But we will see this time if it was just a coincidence or not??
Belleboi how much earlier did they schedule your section? X

I love seeing the photos and the babies all look so perfect. I just am astonished and so happy for everyone and the high percentage of us who have finally been blessed with our dream babies. Boys way, I know I feel the same way...I keep staring at my daughter thinking, wow i have a little girl. It's quite funny;) we are just loving her and her brothers just adore her.

jojoryan I used it too and yes it does help labor because the oil helps naturally loosen and stretch everything. If you use it for a massage oil before and during labor especially it gives you extra benefit!

Still waiting for these babies to arrive!! I am 38 weeks and 4 days!! I have an induction date for this Friday!! 7/31 I am very excited to meet them!! Tomorrow I will have an U/S and an NST test to make sure bith babies are still in good positions for a vaginal birth and the NST to make aure they are still doing great! I saw my Doctor on Monday Baby A was still high but I went from 1cm to 2cm so I am happy about that! After my appointment I went to my Chiropractor to get adjusted and help the babies drop, I think it helped because shortly after I felt a lot more pressure and pain down there :) and have been having tons of cramps and contractions! I really hope I am at least 3cm and Baby A is lower so I am more favorable to be induced. My babies usually don't drop til after 6cm but my doctor said that since it's twins I already have a high chance of a C-section and if baby A doesnt drop after the pitocin I will end up with a c-section. I don't care anout the scar I care about the recovery and the longer stay in the hospital, DH doesnt get paid for time off and trying to take care of two newborns plus three other kids after a major surgery is not my cup of tea lol!! Baby A was measuring 8lbs and Baby B was just about 8lbs last week, I am excited to see what the will measure tomorrow and what their actual weights will be Friday!

Good luck miss, I feel I have no room to moan about spd if your having 16 lb worth of baby alone and looking after 3 children x

Can anyone tell me what slow labour is this may sound like stupidity seen as I have 5 boys already but all of them I had induction and one my waters went no pain so they induced me the next day only had a show with my first this time I've had a show feeling pain from spd but I had like a period pains all night last night I never have any pains usually until the hospital start the drip so this is all new to me

angel-pink its the same pain you get with the pitocin drip but not as bad. Pitocin makes it harder and worse on you and bubs. Its going to get really crampy and back achey and does not go away not matter what you do. If you get some that you arent sure of and your water hasnt broken yet try a warm soak. If they still go through the warm soak its labor.

I've been having the period pains and tightenings angel-pink, they stop and start for me tho but my little one has now gone to 4/5th engaged so that's why I was getting them. It means things are getting close even if it stops. But Nahri is right, if in doubt have a warm soak :)

So IN LOVE!!
Baby A He was head down but still high and more to my side than in position,Baby B she was transverse as of 7/30/15, my doctor did a check on me, U/S and NST on 7/30 i was only 1-2 cm and not favorable to be induced, he said i had about 90% chance of a C-Section because of where baby a our boy was and how he wasnt moving, I still wanted to try! Got to the hospital at 6:45 am, started pitocin at 8am, checked me about 30 mins and I was 3-4 so my doctor broke baby As monitor and put an internal monitor on his head to monitor him better, had an U/S done Baby B went head down! came back around 10:30ish checked me again I was 6-7cm. Got a spinal than relaxed a bit he checked me again around 11 was at 10cm started pushing Baby A came out at 11:21 am, than did an U/S for Baby Bs position still head down so he moved her more into position from the outside, than from the inside broke her water started pushing, kept checking her position with the U/S and she wasn't coming down so my doctor said he would give her a tiny bit of help with the vacuum but if I couldn't get her out within the next 4-5 contractions he would need to give me a C-Section for her within the next two contractions she was out at 11:58am!
Baby A Boy had his cord wrapped around his neck once so he is blue and bruised ( we joke and say its from the blue moon ;) )

Both are soing great, I was able to latch them both rite away, he is more of a lazy eater and she is eating like a champ and latches rite away.

Just checking in to say that my gorgeous girl Rose Rachida Violet was born at home in the birth pool in front of an open fire during a once in 30 years snowfall on the 3rd August! Amazing birth - 1 1/2 hrs of active labor and pushed her out in 9 mins! She is enormous- 10lbs 7oz, my biggest baby so far!! But magically no tearing! 1 week left over here! Please tell me I'm just crazy having all of these doom and gloom thoughts that something's wrong with the baby. My body hates me.... Ive been having strong contractions that last all day but go away some of the night since Sunday :( I'm already exhausted just wish they would stop completely till its time or move up a gear!

Hi ladies, it's been a while since I checked in here. So nice to see all the cute babies that arrived. I am 38 weeks 3 days today. So far I am perfectly fine with baby staying in for a while longer. Sorry not got any good pics yet this is us on way home yay!
I was over over doing it and stretching up high to paint the top of the walls when I had a huge bleed went to A&e and then my waters went (after baby was born I got told I had shredded my membranes glad they didn't tell me at the time though) the docs wanted to hook me up to a drip but I didn't want intervention as I am a previous section so went home. An hour later I went back and 2.5hours later baby was born with gas and air xxx over the moon xxx

Congrats jojo she is precious.
Business woman. Hylands makes them they are all natural. It helps with the pain and does make them drowsy a bit so they can sleep instead of staying up because of the pain. Have to be careful not to over do them though because too much can constipate even within the dosing guidelines. She was literally sleeping 5 min at a time then she would wake up and nothing would make her happy except to chew on her hand and drool so they are the only reason she got any rest. I used them with my son and wow were they a lifesaver til he agrees to chew on frozen cloths etc.

Hi ladies baby was born 7 lb 15 oz tiny for me not the 10 lb plus they said he would be, birth was horrible worse for me so far!. waited too long after water broke to start me cord wrapped around his neck his heart was baseline and he wouldn't come down due to cord so I had the consultant push the cervix over his head went from4-6 then 6-8 as he did it twice I had to then stop pushing while the Dr took blood off babies head my BP went up pulse racing he then came down and out in about 40 mins full on contraction s took 12 hours just goes to show just because birth is quick for one it may not be for the other very stressful had to stay in for observations on me and baby back home now photo to follow
