I suspect I might have a UTI ladies, some cramping, lots of back pain all on one side and I only feel comfortable straight after emptying my bladder. Got an appt to see my GP in an hour just to br proactive. It feels kinda like a UTI, hoping thats all it is. Only issue is the GP I m seeing is my DHs as my own had no appts. He saw me twicec before when pg on DS2 and both times he sent me to hospital. Hoping he can resolve whatever this is in his surgery cause DH is working late and we don't have any family to watch the boys!
In other news I'm feeling the odd bout of nausea here and there. Haven't thrown up tho so thats a plus!

My first scan is today ladies! Not sure how I'm going to get the water in while I'm at work, I may have to skull as soon as I finish lol it's not until this afternoon so I will be back later to update. Feeling a little nervous as well as excited [emoji4]

No one offered any scaning or screening blood work. I am in my 30's too althought otherwise low risk. At my dating appointment i was told to back back between 14th to 16th week

Oh Mammacass what time is your u/s at? So excited for you to see your baby :)

Back from GP a while now, he said there was "something" showing in my urine sample,reckons it's an infection and prescribed anti biotics to be on the safe side. He said if pain gets much worse to ring him back. Pain is quite bad tonight but want to give the meds a chance to work so if it's not shifted by tomorrow I will call him back. I only fitted in once dose of the anti biotic today as it was late when I got them, really hope they start to take affect asap. Hard not to worry when I'm in pain. It's kind of all over my lower abdomen now,rather than just one sided. I'm in bed hoping to sleep it off.

Mammacas hang in there with thr fluids. My scan in the hospital last hemorrhage required a full bladder and not knowing i emptied before the US tech got there oops. Lol im sure they can work with what you have in there. Super hard to hold pee let alone during pregnancy.

Oh no blue :/ im so very sorry. I hope they spontaneously do one for you soon or next appointment.

So sorry to hear you have a UTI :( those are really paunful. Hope you feel really soon!!

As for me, i was just called from my ob's office informing me that my glucose 3hour test first blood draw was high was high. I have to go back for more blood work :/ .I also have to do a diet class but it surprised me that the rest of the blood draws were normal since they asked me to up my carbs and calorie intake 3 three days before. Ugh i hate being pricked or going to 2 hour classes. I dont like going to the docs period.

Bluebooties - I was thinking that same thing! Had I not done an NT scan we would have seen baby at 8 weeks and not again until 20. So by doing that we had a little peek which helped the long stretch.

Hopper - oh no!! I hope you're feeling better! Generally when I get a UTI I feel so much better after just a round of antibiotics so I hope you get to feeling better soon. Was your doctor concerned about the UTI effecting the baby? A couple of women I know who had UTIs also had u/s to check on baby.

I had an impromptu appointment today as well. I had a nurse call me over the weekend to sign up for a free pregnancy program through my insurance and through her questions she asked about my discharge and I said sometimes it was watery and gushing randomly. She suggested I call my OB and my OB said to come in and check on it. I got so anxious because I hadn't thought anything of it until that point. And I worried they'd give me an ultrasound and I'd cave and find out gender without DH! [emoji12] Thankfully all is well, it wasn't amniotic fluid, and no ultrasound to temp me haha. She did say on the Doppler as we listened baby was super active!

Hi ladies, sorry for the delay - I have been busy with the boys and also trying to process what happened at my scan today. In all honesty I don't really know where I'm at.

After drinking the required amount of water I was struggling and had to release some twice! When the sonographer first started the US she said she could see 2 structures and was confused and wanted to progress to a transvaginal (so much for struggling with my bladder! She showed me our baby with a nice heartbeat but said I wasn't as far along as I thought... from LMP I should be 7+6 and from suspected O 7+3, from the scan she tells me Im only 6+4...She then showed me another rounded structure, she couldn't give me a definite answer of what it is whether its another sac or a bleed but just that it was very rounded and demarcated. she suggested possible was/is twins, possible abnormality of some sort or possible bleed but who knows. She said depending on what it is could mean increased risk of miscarriage/abnormalities - this is before she said she thought it may be a bleed. She looked at my ovaries and said I ovulated from the right and there was only 1 cyst visible. She could not see anything inside the structure.

She said it was likely my Dr will send me for blood HCG levels to see if possibly twins (my hcg levels have never been tested) and she said I will most likely be closely monitored to see if it resolves etc.

I don't know what to think :worry: has anyone heard of something like this before? After 3 very uneventful pregnancies this has me in a bit of a spin!

Thanks for your super kind words ladies. I'm still in a lot of pain today and this AM was my first seriously dodgy morning. I didn't throw up but I felt it was a definite possibility. Started to feel ok after about 3 hours and ok since as long as I stay eating. Am contemplating ringing GP again about the pain though, its enough to take my breath away at times and I have an awful pain in my back all day too.

Mammacass I hope you are going to be ok. That is definitely a lot to process but hopefully the BW should give you much needed answers. Thinking of you my dear xxx

Maybe its a fibroid in ur uterus mammacass ... they r benign

I know that measuring off this early can just be a matter of the sonographer not getting exact measurements cause the baby is still so tiny. My babies both measured a few days behind at first scan at 9 weeks but by 13 were just right and ahead. I also know that often with twins at first early scans they only see one but even a week later, find two. Hope everything works out, twins or not!

Well ladies with my UTI I ended up passing some brown CM so GP sent me to maternity unit where they said there's some leukocytes in my urine so to keep up with the penicillin. Also scanned me and found baby in my uterus with a nice heartbeat! She said I Oed from my left ovary. It was a transvaginal scan and baby was on the right of the screen, I have no idea what that means in terms of Ramzi but I was just overwhelmed to see my sway baby, whether desired gender or opposite, there and heart blinking happily. She has me coming back in 3 weeks, so first week of Jan, for a repeat scan so all going well UTI should be cleared up and pain should be gone! Hectic day, but glad to get that reassurance that baby is OK despite the UTI pain :)

Hmm u know it could be a twin or a belighted ovum of a possible twin. Fibroids and bleeds r supposed to be hyperechoic on sono meaning all dense/whitish and homogenous but urs has a black inner area meaning fluid and posdibly meaning yolk sac. But just my opinion.

Mamacass it seems like twins or blighted ovum to me. But keep us updated.
I went to have a scan and she offered me an extra free scan bcoz she saw a penis first and then said it ws a cord baby was literally holding. Then she ws 70% sure it ws a girl due to seeing three lines like hamburger but she said Even cord can have three light lines. So after approx 45 mins of anxiety and palpitations. She told me to come back and she ll do a free scan in two weeks. I guess the little guy / girl is not ready to show the parts to mommy.
One hand was constantly btw legs.
He was moving a lot.
I have a question. Is it not easy to see penis at almost 14 weeks without problem on 3d?

7 week 4 days today and feeling a bit crappy today which is reassuring. Still haven't built up the courage to see a doctor yet. I've been so busy with work and the lead up to xmas. Once things die down after xmas I might see the doctor then.

I have been wondering that today also, was just a bit concerned that I am measuring that much less than I thought and also that the second "sac" is a fair bit smaller than the other. I suppose if it's behind the other you would expect it to be smaller? Or also wondering if it's a vanishing twin. Then I decide maybe it's something completely different lol oh well what's meant to be will be I guess [emoji4]

I rang my dr this morning and unfortunately she isn't in until tomorrow so will hear from her then.

Such adorable pictures boyz, I find it very difficult to tell gender on 3/4D images and find normal 2D easier. I can't remember exact gestation u r at (on my ph so not sure if u have a ticker etc) but with the 2D it would need to be a potty shot, 3 lines only would only count in that position I believe xx

Fiya i m just like you. She said usually she can guess gender with 99% success rate but my baby was not co operative as cord ws in middle of his legs all the time. I even walked for 15 mins for baby to change place.
She said its up to me i can come at 15 week which is next week or at 16 to be sure.
But two more weeks are going to make me crazy. But then i dont want it to be another useless scan. I m afraid to hear its a boy[emoji85]

I have just spoken to my gp and the report that was sent to her stated that it is a haematoma and didn't mention any possibility of it being anything else.... Must have been an inexperienced tech do you think? My dr didn't think it was any cause for concern and I won't get another scan until the 12 wk nuchal US

Mammacass I'm so relieved for you. Sounds like the tech was a little inexperienced and probably shouldn't have said anything to you. So did the doc say much about bub measuring behind? Could you have your O date wrong or was the tech that bad that she was way off with her measurements.

Im not sure Violet I'm a bit confused but just relieved Bub is fine :) I did have a temp around ovulation but with her dates I don't feel I wouldn't have been able to conceive as the last BD was 6 days beforehand. I will post a pic of my chart. It has O on CD 18, she would put it at CD 24. Last BD was CD 18 in am. I do wish she hadn't said if she wasn't sure as there is still a small part of me wondering lol

I wouldn't put too much thought into measurements. All my scans which have been quite a few have never measured the same and have never given me the same dur dates. Some 5 days ahead, some a few days behind. The pareneotologist put me a day ahead than my first original due date. Big hugs to you! I know its never easy to take in when something doesnt match up or looks out of the norm. Hang in there ♡

I'm sure your O date is right. Sorry I'm no good with charts, I've always gone by cm and o pains. Hehe. I just really hope she was that bad that she was off with the measurements. She shouldn't have said anything, they're not trained doctors and probably don't reslise that what they say can upset us women. This is exactly the reason why I don't like the early scans myself. After my losses and all the scans they would only stress me out more and I would over analyze everything to the point of not sleeping.

Alright ladies I have scheduled my private scan next Tuesday. I am super nervous and I have been mentally preparing my husband and two oldest daughter's and I have been asking them to be equally happy if its a girl or boy. We are taking my youngest with us who will find out about my pregnancy then since we haven't told her because she is very outspoken and we have had a few gatherings and parties since I found out I was pregnant and im sure everyone would know by now. I am ok with hearing girl, I really just don't want to hear sadness and pitty from anyone. I know this baby will be loved unconditionally when born but I have been through so much in these short few weeks and I dont think my heart would take it if I saw any expression other than happiness. I am extremely contemplating if I should go now for a scan while the dh is at work and kids are at school and if it's a girl I can just tell them in advance so they wont go with high hopes. This is too much to take in and my wheels are turning trying to think how to handle this situation :(

@yogi & boyzmommy: I feel just like you about the pity feelings from people around me (close or less close). All will be over the moon if it's a girl, but how will they react if it's another boy?

I was talking to my sister yesterday and I asked her what gender she thought it would be, and she just said: probably a boy, right? And that made me sad. She knows I was on LE diet, but she has no hope whatsoever. Just to prove her wrong, I want this to be my little girl. She has no kids yet and she's 28, so I don't know if she really understands.

10 weeks today, I'm happy. I have a scan on Monday to see if baby has grown well. I'm sooooooo impatient.

No, no harmony for me. I live in France and it's not common to do this screening overhere. I will have a scan at 13w+1 with hopely a beautiful nub and another one at 15+3 to determine the gender of this baby. I actually wanted to go to barcelona for a non-invasive blood screening, but my hubby thought this was a bit too much just before Christmas. So I try very hard to be patient, which I'm not!

Fiya - I think some people just don't want others to get what they want (or THEY want that themselves). My brother is four years younger than me, not married, and when talking about the baby, he keeps saying, "You better not have the first boy - that's what I'm suppose to do!" Too bad buddy! Haha. No one knows I swayed, but my mom and MIL think it's a boy too.

I'm 17+5 today and I think I've been feeling baby move! At night after dinner I'll get little stomach twitches, below my belly button. It's so interesting because I was thinking it would be butterflies, but it sounds like every woman feels something different. So cool though!

I honestly never thought I would feel any movement till past 15 weeks but amazingly I have been feeling movement starting at 12. Super weird but an amazing feeling and according to the pareneotologist it's common to feel movement earlier after multiple pregnancies. I get at least one to thee nice kicks a day.

Look at the positive Boyzmommy is that you get to sleep in a little extra. Have you i always ended anemic with all of my girls as I showed if with my Pica for excessive ice chewing. Try lentil soup, i hear its super high in iron. I have also read that vitamin b6 is great with nausea. Maybe that can help a little too? Really hope you feel better soon.

Im team yellow :)) definitely county the days, hours, minutes to find out.

Alright ladies I need some opinions. My mother in law had told me last week that her brothers daughter ( my dh's cousin) had announced her pregnancy at her son's birthday last Saturday & was about the same weeks as I. I was just told today that she had a miscarriage :(
I had planned on if all goes well to announce mine after ai found out the gender. Now I feel like laying low till late January as I feel terrible and I dont want her to feel as if I am rubbing it in. What do you girls think? Should i wait or announce it as planned?

I personally am not close hut we see each ither at every gathering, party, holidays, bbqs as my dh's fam is huge :/
I'd love to keep it a secret but I know my inlaws wont. My SIL already told me told one person, and it seems as though this secret wont be hidden much longer. Also after all of my crazy placenta previa bleedings, which my MIL knows about, I saw his family this past Saturday and they all seemed extra helpful as I am celebrating my youngest daughter's birthday this weekend. Everyone offered to help and ai asked my inlaws if they had shared the news. Both denied it saying they said i was feeling under the weather but ai beg to differ and I am almost positive something has already leaked. I guess ill have to wait till after the scan too see if i want to share it. For now ill say it will remain a secret

mammacass I'm feeling the exact same lol. Nausous all week and oh so tired!! A little less nauseous today and yesterday and am feeling super duper crampy so finding it hard not to imagine negative stuff.

I rang one of the clinics in the area that do gender scans and was told the earliest she would see me was my 20th week! Ugh, I can't be dealing with waiting that long - that's mid March at the earliest. But at the same time I can't justify the cost of the harmony testing...and also my DH's sister has Downs and his niece has Downs and I have to say part of me is afraid of what the test may reveal...I'm probably being silly, right? I think the odds at my age are like 1 in just under 400 but thats higher when theres a family history. I'm reallly finding myself worrying a lot about it at this stage, I couldn't tell you why. The idea never entered my head when pg with my boys :(

It is still sinking in that we will have a little princess! I would've bet a million dollars this was a girl since we saw her on the first ultrasound but you still have that tiny bit of doubt in the back of your mind! Mammacass, they said 7-10 business days. They said they will call me with the results. I told them I don't want to be told gender over the phone and they are going to seal it in an envelope and we will pick it up at our next appointment. We also scheduled a scan just for fun and DH and I decided we will go to the ultrasound together then have a date night and have a mini gender reveal just the two of us. I will be 13 weeks.

So my first appointment has been set up for Jan 13th. I'll be 8 weeks and some change then and they will do a dating ultrasound then. I can't wait to the point that I want to go to one of the clinics that do free ultrasound for confirmation just to see my baby and make sure a sticky bean is still there. I'm so impatient.

First ultrasound reported no heartbeat at 9 weeks. Baby measuring 8 weeks. Minor cramping and light spotting. Waiting for temp to drop below coverline to miscarry naturally. I wish you guys all the best in your pregnancies!

8wks 3days and so far have just felt tired and nauseous that is until today. I just had my first date with the toilet bowl. Lol. I'd been feeling really unwell all day and thought maybe some slices of toast would help, boy was I wrong! The minute I finished the toast I was running to the bathroom. I really hope it doesn't get any worse and not on Christmas day. Although it does give me reassurance that it's a sticky one. :fingers:

Hi ladies,

I had an amazing ultrasound yesterday at 10w4d. Our baby definitely is a beauty. It was moving during the whole scan and it just looked perfect.

The heartbeat was 171 and at some pics I can see a forked nub, but too early to say anything about the angle. However, the skull looks girly to me on some pictures, so I keep my fingers crossed for our next scan on the 8th of January.

Ah, thank Booties. I'm a little better as have the actual sickness under control with a combo of medication, and a very strict daily routine of eating / drinking / Epsom salt baths etc! Have just taken the decision that DH will take the girls on our planned Xmas visit to both sets of grandparents and cousins tomorrow for a few days while I stay home alone! I just don't think I can handle the noise and the smells and the disturbed sleep (poor DH is currently on the sofa, but when away I would have both him and littlest DD in with us). Boo!

I'm also feeling a bit down about gender, was convinced for some reason that the baby I miscarried in August was a boy and therefore coming to terms with feeling that this little bubba is definitely another little girl (it seems so unlikely that we would successfully conceive boys twice in a row!), especially given that I have the sickness again.

Basically longing for this sickness to pass so I can perk myself up a bit and stop being such a misery guts, it's not like me at all! Sorry for the moan and thank you for providing a place I can vent (I feel super lonely with this sickness too as I feel a huge number of people just really don't get it at all, so I tend to keep it all bottled up).

Sounds exactly like me! I don't know if I want to know or not! She will be very very loved, but I always dreamed of having a little boy. I have a good feeling for you though - aren't your symptoms totally different from previous pregnancies?

Yes they r 360 degrees compared to both my girls who were carbon copy pregnancies but then i believe symptoms dont tell every pregnancy canbe different even with same gender.
The problem is my husband and i know how to read sonograms atleast at 20 weeks gestation so even if i wont look my husband will know and his expressions will tell me. For both my girls i knew even b4 the sonographer. Ahh i am afraid i will break down in the sono room which would be soooo embarasing !

Aww girls i feel the same. Part of me wanted to know and part of me doesnt. I just want to linger on hope of a girl a little longer. Sometimes i think its a girl and my dreams will come true. But then i dont want to be disappointment.
My ds1 best friends mom is having her fourth son. She just told me yesterday. Shes our neighbour n my friend as well. She was a bit disappointed but was trying to put up brave face. I was really hoping for her to get a daughter.
I feel like now i m going to get another boy as well.

Lol Thank you XX :) My In laws almost fell apart after they heard boys and brought out an outfit they had bought if they ever had a grandson ♡ He's going to be spoiled by them for sure. From what the specialist said, I wont make it to my official due date of June 15, & will most likely deliver probably week 37 or slightly before. Could be late May, or sometime in June. They said since I have the placenta previa and high blood pressure, they do not see me going full term which scares me a little :(

Hi Ladies! I have been MIA for a while!! I really try to keep up but I just can't seem to :(. I just want to add that even though I am not commenting too often, I definitely agree that this place feels like family and is so supportive and I am grateful! I hope everyone is starting to feel good and Congratulations to everyone who recently joined and all of you ladies who know your gender and are carrying your desired gender! I am doing well, 15 weeks. Still feeling a bit of nausea but it is subsiding a bit. Definitely feeling big already!! I actually had the Harmony test yesterday so should know gender in a couple weeks. I feel so torn, like I want to find out and then I don't. I kinda like the anticipation and thinking it could be a girl. I initially started out swaying girl but after suffering infertility and TTC for 2 years I stopped swaying so I am just to happy to be pregnant and will be happy with whatever we have. I truly believe that God chose this baby specifically for out family so I can't argue with that :) But I will be a little sad to never have a daughter and nervous about 3 rambunctious crazy boys!! Wishing everyone healthy pregnancies and I hope to keep up!

Hello ladies!! I have been MIA for a while, time is just getting the better of me! I have had a blast of symptoms this past while so serves me right for thinking the worst. All day nausea and the dreaded first trimester tiredness! I am napping during the day and sleeping a good 12 hours at night and I'm still tired!! Headaches seem to have set in with a bang, probably the stress of Xmas ain't helping!!
We are about 80% decided on getting the Harmony testing done in January. I'm fully convinced on it but DH isn't. I will leave him stew over the Xmas and hope he sees my POV!

Yogi OMG I am thrilled for you and your family!! I just KNEW you had your son in there!!! :) Try relax a little about the how and when he will get here. It sounds like you are in good hands and your little family here will be sending truck loads of positivity your way xxx

How awesome and amazing that you heard girl Boyzmommy ♡ It is my understanding that aftet the 12th week, their privates start looking like their actual gender. I was always told a percentage with all of my girls and ended up girl. With this one they seemed to have seen it right away. I am sure the tech knows what they saw. I hope this is your princess ♡

Thank you Hopper♡ Sounds like what I just went through. My bed and tylenol were my best friends. Hang in there and hope you start feeling better soon. Also I'd like to suggest that if you really want the dh to agree to the harmony test, I would say start bribing him [emoji14] I think when you do more oooos and ahhhh's at little things you think are cute, you kind get them to melt their hearts too. I did it to the dh lol :)

I just realized I have not added my monkey's scan yet. Top one according to the tech at the gender scan baby was sitting up and I believe has been since my first scan with my ob. Second one is the face but with very little visibility on this arms and legs. Third is a profile ♡
