Signing - so sorry you're in limbo. I don't know much, but it makes sense to me why your numbers are high right now but no heartbeat yet. Still seems a little early to detect one at only 6w? I really hope you get your answers soon!
I agree 6w is early to have a fetal pole but I'm actually either 7w5d based on LMP or 8w0d based on O so I am worried that both Saturday and today measuring the same at 6w0d. Dr said the vanishing twin is the reason there isn't a fetal pole developed yet but I'm so worried. Thinking about doing a private scan in a week and then the Ob is scanning in 2 weeks.

Hi Ladies!
Trying to catch up a bit!
Signingmommy, I am sorry that you are in limbo, I will be praying that you have a healthy baby and positive outcome. I think it is a good sign that betas are rising steadily.
Congrats on hearing girl boyzmommy and congrats yogi on your little man!! So exciting.
Taytum, those pics are amazing!!!! So precious!!
Welcome to you Boom and congrats on your rainbow baby girl!! I have heard Harmony is extremely accurate!
I also just had the Harmony Test done and I just got the news today that I am having a girl!!!! So like you I am doubting its accuracy because I think I was in shock!
I am extremely happy and blessed!!
I also have an anatomy scan next week so hopefully I will get double confirmation!!
Hoping that I did not forget anyone, it is so hard to keep up!
Hopefully all of you dealing with morning sickness, it will start to ease up. Mine still decides to visit but is definitely better. I am 17 weeks!
OMG! I'm so incredibly happy for you DJ!! After all you have been through- I'm so excited for you to have your sweet baby girl!!
Yay!! Soooo, any name ideas?!

Possible O date and LMP can always be out signing, from my O date at my first scan I would have been around 7wks 6 days from memory but measured 6wks 4 days, and have had another scan since which showed same. Charts aren't always accurate so I am hoping yours is also just a little behind and next scan will show a healthy bub for you. Fingers tightly crossed Hun xx

Congrats djmommy on your girl!! Delighted for you :)
Boyz I hope your placenta moves up, mine was lower than average though not previa on DS2 and it had moved before the third trimester! x
Taytum those pics are absolutely gorgeous!!! What a fabulous profile!! Love the 3D images :D xx
I had my dating scan this AM girls and baby is doing just fine. My anxiety is definitely less now :) Baby is measuring 10+1 which is the same as my LMP dates but measuring +3 by my O date. She said they will go by what baby is measuring today as its my official dating scan. Never had this issue before lol. My boys always always always measured smaller than my dates!
Obviously at 10+1 there not much to give away gender lol, but heres my pics anyway ;)

Thank you Boyz! It is totally crazy that it is so hard to believe. Like now I need to actually see it!! Also wanted to add in that most times when there is partial placenta previa it usually does move. Praying it does! I think we may be due very close too. I am June 15.

Boyz- I had placenta previa with DS 1 and as my uterus grew, it moved out of the way. I had a ton of bleeding and had to be on pelvic rest though for most of my pregnancy.

Good to see you has2gentlemen. [emoji4]i hope you get ur girl too.
Thanks for assurance that placenta can move. I cant be on pelvic rest as i m traveling in two weeks for my sis wedding. And you know with two boys n work with no help. Its hard to be on bed rest. Dh takes these issues normally n doesn't seems an issue for him. But other than that i m hoping it ll move away.
All i can think is what if its not a girl. N tech ws mistaken🤔 when is ur due?

@Milybaby: I live in France, but I'm originally from Belgium. How did your scan go today? Mine was great, but more about that later in this post.
@boom: welcome & congrats with your pink bundle.
@Taytum: I think both genders are pretty obvious at the pregnancy stage you're at, but I do hope you get your cute little boy. How many children do you want?
@djmommy: congrats on your princess! So happy for you and all the other ladies in this thread that are blessed with the desired gender.
@Signing: it sounds so hard what you're going through. If the ob says the vanishing twin could be the reason for the slow developping fetus, I guess he's probably right so I'm keeping my fingers very crossed for you.
@Hopper: beautiful picture of your little bean!
@boyzmommy: does your hubby come with you on the plane? And your boys? I recently took the plane just with my two little ones and it was a challenge, but doable (only a 90 minute flight however). And no worries, you'll see a nice hamburger on the 21th.

So we had our scan today at 13+1 and everything is going great. Little one is having a great time inside of my tummy jumping, hiding and waving. He/she is sooo cute. Everything looked normal and the nub looked... flat... like a girly one :nails:
I was shocked. I let you ladies take a look at my thread about the nub. Even Atomic says girl, so there's hope: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/birth-and-ultrasound-stories/53061-13-1-scan-nub-visible.html
We'll find out on the 24st, but I hope with all my heart that I'm carrying our little princess :ballerina:

I agree with some of you ladies, so many successful sways! Perhaps I'm the one who Will Have an opposite, I'm the Last one:worry:
Thinking about blood test to know the gender but DH desagrees...
Fiya, do you know EasyDNA in the internet? Is it reliable?
Thanks

@boyzmommy: oh my god, 2 weeks without your little ones? I have never done that and I don't think I could stand to be without them that long. We live far away from our family, so we are very very close as a family of 4 (and a half) since we always have to rely on eachother. A 16 hour flight is long, but if you have no blood circulation issues, I don't see why you shouldn't do it.
@milybaby: What a lovely scan of your little bean. It's so cute! Do you have a feeling about the gender? I don't know easyDNA, but the opinions on the web seem positive. But 230 euros for a test just to know the gender seems quiet expensive. My experience is that it was torture not to know around 9 weeks of gestation, because I knew a genetic test was possible, but around 11 weeks it got better and now I know that I'm almost there. Do you live near a large city? A gender scan might be possible at 14 weeks overthere?
@luvmyfam? Did you find out or was it today? I'm soooo excited to find out with you.
All those girl guesses for my nub :HH: Counting the days until the 24th!

But I know this is all shit :p and I am telling me that I don't know how it could be A girl! And that it is obviously a boy!
I was so convinced for DS2 was a girl that I can't beleive my feelings...

Ladies, I'm actually counting the days until the 24th. I got about 15 girl guesses on my nub and 0 boy guesses on InGender and the same amount on this website, but my hubby is so afraid I will get hurt and doesn't want me to get my hopes up. But inevitably, my hopes are up now... It's torture.
I just told Milybaby it gets easier not to know after a certain time, but I'm struggling again ... Since my NT scan I feel weird. I'm thinking about it all the time and I have headaches because I just worry to much. I'm thinking about my next scan and playing scenarios in my head. It's soooo tiring.
I'm just trying to imagine how I'll feel if it turns out to be a boy. I try to tell myself it's still possible, but I have soooo strong feelings it's our little girl that I'm afraid hubby is right and that I will be a little bit sad. I don't know if this sounds silly, but just counting the days...

I am thinking about that all the Time too, I just want to be fixed, to put my mind at ease, just knowing for sure. If it's Little boy I know I Will be sad for few days and then it Will be better. I feel more and more that my Little babe could be a third boy and trying to imagine my family with him😍
I feel so nauseous and exhausted that I am telling me this is the Last time😱

Fiya ikwym.
I went for my nt scan my dates 13+2, measuring 13+4. the sonographer (who speacialses in scans/obstetrics yet was jet lagged and groggy- her words) went from 80% girl to start with as she couldnt see anything dangling when baby was upside down (which was most of the time) to baby being in the right position for a nub shot and then oh likely a boy. I didn't get a pic of baby when they were in the right position for the nub shot but now i wish i had. My pics i have give nothing away. The only thing is my psychic-medium is still insistent this is a girl.
Ive literally drived myself crazy with every scenario and search nub shots and google-athons daily. Its a nightmare. I have a gender specific scan booked for 17+2 on the 31st Jan. Im counting the seconds 😂

Oh I completely missed the part where you had the harmony test. No I wasn't swaying with DS3.
I completely understand that desire. I started trying/swaying for number 4 when DS3 was only 6 months old!! I didn't conceive until he was 10.5 months.

We're working on names and I think we've already agreed on one and It is helping. My emotions are all over the place. Im thinking of him one second and I'm excited and then the next I'm thinking about how badly I want a daughter. DH and I went shopping for the baby last night thinking it might help and it did somewhat but we were both drooling over the girl clothes. I guess that makes it even harder knowing he wanted a girl so badly too. And it makes me so guilty feeling this way. I love this little guy.

Has2, what Doppler do you have? I am considering getting one as still no sign of a bump or feeling any movement and I am just terrified about a mmc (I know you can still be very sick, so that sadly doesn't bring much reassurance!). And can't afford to keep having more scans just for reassurance...

Mommymachine- provided they can find the hb on the doppler at my appointment next Monday, no scan until my anatomy scan at 20 weeks. I don't qualify for genetic testing through our insurance and they're just too expensive out of pocket.
Foxcub- I have the sonoline B. I bought it when I was pg with DS1 and I used it pretty much weekly with him, and occasionally with DS2. It wasn't expensive either, and I can use aloe Vera gel for the gel instead of paying for ultrasound gel haha
I love that first dress, boyz. Super cute.

I shared this story on my sway forum but just had to share with you girls too! Dh and I have had a lot of private conversations since we found out on Saturday because no one else knows yet (including the boys). We think we have decided on a name already and have only had the one name that seems "right". Well, tonight our DS 1 said he wanted to know if it was a boy or a girl. We told him he could decide to find out now or he could find out this sunday at our gender reveal. So we told just him. He was excited and said "maybe we can have a girl next time" haha. But the CRAZY part came when we asked what his name should be. He just smiled, said "hmmmm maybe ______, like a boy in my class". The one name that came out of his mouth was the one name dh and I have liked for this little guy. No way he had ever heard us. Talk about confirmation!!

Has2 thats great you picked up such a strong heartbeat so early. :)
Luvmyfam how lovely that your ds1 had the same name picked out. He was definitely meant be be.
Well, I finally have my first scan tomorrow. I had blood tests done more than a week ago and my numbers were up there and I'm still feeling really nauseous. Think it will be too early for a nub shot but at this stage I'll be surpised to see a baby in there. :fingers: :nails:

Violet you are pretty far into the beginning so you should definitely see a baby.
So I'm feeling better right now. I still feel pregnant and I know as of right now I am. I am staying hopeful and having faith that one of my babies are strong enough to survive. I did book a private scan his Thursday (a week from last scan) for some possible reassurance as there should be at least a fetal pole this time and then next Thursday is appt with Ob with another scan. I've been thinking a lot about how my tilted uterus may be making it hard for the Drs to find babies too.

Luvmyfam- thats so cute, awesome your ds was thinking the same name.
Lovely bedding boyzmommy. I bought a couple of girl onesies today. I have a box of all this girl stuff and if i can't use it for myself im keeping it for potential grand daughters.
I am so nervous about this scan. Im trying to recall back the nub shot she showed and googling daily. I think the nub shot was 50/50 going by my recall. Baby seemed slightly bottom up. Ugghhh the torture 😣
Battling abit of a summer cold atm which is bleh. Back at work tonight too 😦

@Has2gentlemen: so happy for you that you've heard such a strong heartbeat. And seriously, no scan until 20 weeks? That's a long ime to wait for some reassurance. I hope time flies for you!
@Boyzmommy: you seem to start believing you're actually coocking a girl :babyf: I love the textile for the nursery! Have you thought about names yet? Is your belly still growing so fast? Mine is! I'll take a picture at 14 weeks and I'll post it here.
@Taytum: nice to hear you get boy vibes. You'll know soon enough, because time flies and May is approching really fast.
@Fox: I hope you'll feel the baby move soon. I'm one day ahead of you and I feel our little bean every day. I'm lucky I guess. I'm sure everything is allright though. Maybe it'll be a calm one :)
@luvmyfam: how are you little lady? I've read your post on your sway topic and you seemed a little bit off. Is the thought of a thirth boy sinking in? And how is your hubby doing? I'm feeling much better than this weekend. The thought of a third boy is definitely sinking in. I stare at his ultrasound pictures and I just love him so much! He's my baby boy! I truly feel it is meant to be. God showed me that through my 6 year old! I definitely still have the feelings of sadness and almost emptiness of not fulfilling mine and DH's dream of having a little girl. You never know, maybe we will sway again someday. But for now I want to try to enjoy this pregnancy and eventually enjoy my 3 sweet boys! Thanks for asking!

Yep Fiya- that's standard for care around here (north eastern US) if you know your lmp and are otherwise low risk for abnormalities. Most doctors will see you at 10-12 weeks and check for a heartbeat by doppler, then send you on your way for 4-6 weeks. We don't do dating scans unless you are completely unsure of your period, and NT scans are considered elective testing, so run $600-$700 out of pocket. You can book a private scan but many places won't do those until 16-18 weeks and want you to have already had a medical u/s.
With my oldest, I just had the one u/s at 22 weeks and nothing else but doppler until I delivered at 40 weeks. With my youngest, I had the anatomy scan at 19 weeks, then a quick vaginal u/s to re-check my cervix at 22 weeks. I'm hoping I'll get more regular scans after the anatomy scan this time, since they'll need to monitor me for dilation.
Boyz- I love Sophia, but it's so common around here (number 2 or 3 in 2014 I think). I had a roommate named Leah that was a sweetheart though.
My boys are Zachariah and Benjamin, and our short list for this baby are Tobias, Ezekiel, Vivian and Emmeline. We've also considered Theodore or Thaddeus.

Feeling super nervous for my high risk OB appointment tomorrow :( I am praying that my placenta has moved a little up since I am still feeling uneasy. I have noticed that I have more sharp needle like pains in my cervix if I strain to have a bowel movement or bend or put any pressure on my abdomen. I am super scared I will suddenly hemorrhage but I am praying this will resolve soon. I am not too hopeful since I had that private scan last week and thr tech did mention I still had the previa. On another note my cousin has been desiring a baby girl since she already has two boys and her dh did not want anymore children. She was able to have an oopsie baby and she is having a little girl confirmed by the maternity21 test.
Hoping every is doing good :) and good luck to the gals waiting for your upcoming scans ♡

Yogi, i wish u so much luck and I hope placenta had moved on!:fx:
I don't feel well, I don't know I'm afraid that something Will turn wrong (I'm 9 weeks tomorrow). I feel so exhausted and nauseous, kind of depressed... I think about the Baby being a boy or a girl everytime and more and more saying myself this is a boy and that's it! I feel like I can't carry girls :(
The problem is not having another boy but I feel there is not even a little chance for me to carry a girl. And the waiting is killing me
We did HT because I felt I could't bear another GD as I felt for DS2, and HT misscarriage crushed me. I decided to go in a personnalized plan and here I am, waiting, again.
Should I do blood gender test at 10 weeks? Should I wait 13 weeks for Nub shot and 15 weeks for gender?
I don't know What is best but I am hardly obssessing over it.

Yogi and Netti, Thanks for your answers, I really don't know what to do, the Blood test that I could do is on the Internet (EasyDNA) should fill some circles with blood drops and it is reliable at 95% according to them. The price is 229 euros which is expensive just for gender...

I want my scan today, because I'm going crazy. Do you live far away from Barcelona? I don't know if tests with a few drops of blood are reliable. In Barcelona, they take a normal blood sample.
@Violet: I'm sorry you heard boy. Do you have a picture of the scan so that we can take a look? At 12 weeks, the nub theory isn't that reliable at all, but it's true that boy nubs less often turn into a girl once they're up.

I live near Spain, in Narbonne, but hubby told me no for the test because Christmas was coming up and the little ones needed presents. At first I was mad and disappointed, but then I reasoned myself and I felt better afterwards. A boy or a girl, it's already decided, so a few more weeks to wait before I know will be bearable.

Appointment went ok. I told my doc about my complaints and she said it all sounds normal. My right hand and arm are always going numb, my cervix pain is the usual comment, baby is growing and putting more pressure, and my headaches are probably migraines due to hormonal changes. She did a pelvic exam and said cervix was high and closed but placenta is still partial previa :/ which means continued pelvic rest. I hate when they say you are still not out of the danger zone and there is still a risk of miscarrying :( which is what I was told but she said to put not much worry into it since my cervix was high and closed. I was told I will be scheduled for my csection at week 30 but I am always afraid of being delivered early due to my previa and high blood pressure :( baby was doing good thank goodness ♡

Glad all is well yogi. The numbness in your hand/arm is likely carpal tunnel which is common is pregnancy. I too have been feeling abit more pressure earlier on this time but i believe all is well. I think baby is now popping out 😂

Yes, I'm 14 weeks pregant and I'm due the 14th of July (actually the 21 of July here in France). When are you do? Maybe you won't need HT at all. Have you swayed for this baby?
Fiya
January 14th, 2016, 11:35 AM
@Violet: I agree the nub has stacking, but I think it can go both ways. It has 10 days to rise and if it doesn't, it could still be your girl. Do you have another scan planned the next month? I'm sending you lots and lots of pink dust.
@Yogi: did you say c-section in week 30? I hope you'll soon be off pelvic rest and that the placenta moves up very soon. Think about your beautiful boy on the way.
@mommymachine: congrats on your 3th girl! You must be thrilled.
How is everyone else doing? I'm fine, but still very tired. I could sleep all day, but I have too much work to even take a little nap. One of my boys wakes me everynight because of a nightmare or a wet bed and I'm exhausted. Besides that, everything is great. I feel our baby move more and more and I'm really starting to think it is a little lady. 10 days until our scan.

Taytum, I'm afraid of both misscarriage and HT😳 I'm 9 weeks and still anxious about misscarriage + anxious also about going HT again if it's a boy... I'm so sure It is and so sure I can't carry anything else Than a boy!
Fiya, and when is your scan? On the 21rst?
My due date is 26th of August in France so 19th of August?! Yes I swayed for this Baby but as I said to Taytum, I dont think it' s even possible for me naturally. Perhaps because 2 of my sisters Have 3 boys each and I Have just one sisters who has 1 girl....

Thanks!
I did sway/pray with DD1 and DD2. Although DD1 was an ingender sway. I started swaying for DD3, then got pregnant which lead to a miscarriage in July. I really dropped most swaying techniques after that. But looking back I did do something's that swayed. I'm still a bit shocked.

That makes sense Fiya as far as your anxiety. Also, remember that millions of women get their desired gender with no knowledge of swaying and that you always have the chance of having a girl! I think you can (and will!) have a girl. Sounds like you had a bad experience with HT, but I think if you and hubby really want to go for it, you'll carry your daughter as well. Hoping though that this one is ALL PINK though and you won't have to think about it!! [emoji4][emoji177]

The doc said she will schedule my c-section at week 30 for the specific date but I hope its way beyond week 30. I really pray this little one makes it at least till week 37 or more. I keep praying it moves up but if it does not, I just really hope I wont bleed for the rest of the pregnancy. :(
Super excited for your Scan!! I will be stalking to hear you have your princess on the way :)

Thanks for all your support ladies. I don't have another scan booked until 20wks but am trying to settle into the idea of three boys. We told DS1 there's a baby growing in my tummy and he's so in love with the baby already. He's giving me lots of cuddles and kissing my belly.
DH has said if this is definitely a boy which I believe it is we will do HT for a little girl. I just hope Australia makes it legal in the next year. I really don't feel comfortable going to another country and the $$
Knowing that I will one day have my girl it's making the adjustment to DS3 a little easier. I really want to give him all the love he deserves. Now to decide on a name for him :/

Violet u still have chance for a little girl. Dont worry. I m still scared for anatomy scan next week and i m worried what if its not a girl. So i shopped a lot today just to make my self happy. I know all these clothes will have to be returned in case of boy but i want to feel happy [emoji12]
My Dh would never consider HT. Hr already told me as i wanted to go HT this time to be sure but he refused in any case. I kept some money aside. I was saving from last 4 yrs for HT[emoji17]so you r really lucky to have DH on board.

I m having fun but i m very frustrated as i can't walk a lot. I feel exhausted & feel like everything is going to come out. I used to walk 7 or 8 hrs straight in preg b4 but now i hve no energy.

I would go with that once since you can hide the cake and no one will know until you actually cut it. I think putting balloons in a box woulf give it away to easily.

Boyzmommy, What a beautiful bump and shopping!!!😃 I'm sure they Will Tell you girl again at your scan😉 But I understand you to be anxious.
Violet, I think We are going HT also if this one is a boy! perhaps at the same Time? I saw the nub of your Little babe and even if it's early I think this is a little boy. Many many hugs to you and I hope I'm wrong!
This morning, I had DS2 sleeping in my bed with his pacifier, I looked at him for à moment and I had nothing but love for him and just that if I was 5 years earlier I would Have asked this Baby because I can't even imagine my Life without him, he is so cute💕💕💕
It's been 2 days since I Have a strong feeling I Have a boy in my belly! Maybe I'm right, maybe not. My ob, who followed my HT expérience told me he had the feeling this Baby is a girl and my MIL (who knows for HT) too. Regarding my strong desire for a princess, This is not something They should Tell me, What do you think girls?
Besides, I Have tilted uterus and I feel like a pressure on the back, I feel as if It is quite low, is this normal?

I'm sure yours is a girl Boyz. It was just really interesting that this girl, in such a short amount of time, heard a different result and as violet said, so uncommon to hear girl after boy. But I bet you've got a girl!
Miley - I don't have a tilted uterus, but I have pinched my sciatic nerve before and now I have a lot of lower back pain because baby is sitting so low. I feel your pain and I just try to stretch it every night!

Mommy - it's definitely gaining steam here in the US (at least in the Midwest where I am). I think Princess Kate naming her daughter Charlotte was really the push. I don't know if it will reach #1, but I could see it in top 5. My grandma's name is Charlotte though so it's definitely an older name coming back around! So pretty!

Mommymachine if you love the name I would just go for it and not worry about how popular it is, the only thing that would stop me using a name I love is if a close friend or family had the same name for themselves or their kids [emoji4]

Not very common here Mommymachine. I only know of one ex coworker who named their daughter Charlotte. If you love it, I say go with it. I named my 1st daughter Breanna back when it was popular here and I was super young. Now I regret it, but I went a little more creative with my 2nd by naming her Leanne which is not very common here :)

Re names - it's a whole new world in terms of baby names because there are SO MANY more names than when we were kids (as we all remember the horror of having 17 Kellys if you're my age, or Jennifers if you're in your 30's, or Ashleys if you're in your 20's, in your class) The reality is that with all the names that are in use now, even the most popular names are being used a lot less than you might think. It's like back when the choice was Coke or Pepsi everyone drank only one of them but now there's Vitamin Water, Snapple, etc and even if Coke and Pepsi are still #1, there are overall less people drinking them as a percentage of the population than before.
I have a Wyatt and his name has gotten a lot more popular over the years since we picked it out, but we still have only met like 2 people who were named Wyatt. :) I'ts not as big a deal as it used to be.

Hi ladies! Haven't been on in over a week - honestly haven't found the time. Between going to bed early at night and napping when the kids are sleeping during the day I have no "me" time to get online. Tiredness is a killer! But everything seems to be easing off now I'm 11+2. Nausea is gone - Amen to that!!! So I finally caught up on about 20+ pages of convo lol. Phew you girls can talk!! ;)
Yogi I am glad everything is going well so far and I'm sure you can get your little boy to as close to term as possible. Sending all my positive vibes your way hun xxx
Luvmyfam I am sorry you hear blue but it really sounds meant to be. I am hoping for a similar feeling if we hear boy in a couple of weeks xxx
Violet I definitely agree it's very early for your tech to be so sure of gender. I will be holding out hope that they are wrong but either way I am glad your baby is thriving x
Mommymachine I am over the moon you heard girl! Massive congrats on your beautiful rainbow girl - and for what it's worth I think Charlotte is a timeless classic name x
Boyz I love your shopping style!!! Being able to shop in the pink aisle....it's definitely in my top 5 wishes! I generally feel sick and need to look away when I pass the girl section in stores.
As for me and my little person on board, I got my booking appt for Jan 28th. I will be exactly 13 weeks but the scan is usually a blink and you'll miss it type of one. I'm wondering should I ask for a nub shot or will he think I am crazy? Or is it even a good stage to get a nub shot? I will only have about 5 weeks to wait at that stage til my anatomy scan but would like to post here for a few guesses ;)

yea overall I feel like this pregnancy is alot different to my boys, I know that doesnt mean a different gender but anyway. I have morning sickness, so much more exhausted, feel very twingy/achy in my belly (its hard to explain but its like I am very aware of changes in my belly, its popped out ALOT earlier and my family are constantly asking if its twins lol.
@mammacass - I am planning on doing the NIPT test at 11 weeks but the Dr wants me to have a scan too so I will probably have it at the same time. So I'll book around the 28th January. I wont get the results for probably a week to find out what I am having though. I am so scared its ridiculous!! I just dont want to feel this way anymore, I just wish I could be happy without any sadness about having a new baby coming, I feel wrong for feeling the way I do :(

Sorry haven't been around much since my possible miscarriage scare last week. Well I went in for the private scan Thursday and they told me that my uterus isn't slightly tilted but it's really tilted and at this stage because babies are so small and having a tilted uterus it's hard to do a abdominal ultrasound and they don't do vaginal ultrasound there. They were able to confirm that the gestational sac is growing, in 7days measurements went from 6w0d to 7w3d, and there is blood flowing to the gestational sac. She didn't see a reason for concern and They said that I could come back in 2 to 3 weeks for another private ultrasound for free since they were able to do anything really See anything at this one. Have an appt with the Ob this Thursday and he will do a vaginal ultrasound but for now I feel that at least 1 baby is in there growing.
Violet it really is way to early to determine sex through ultrasound, give it time.
I'm glad everyone is doing the best that is to be expected.

@Milybaby: my scan is on the 24th, in just a week. I'm soooo impatient. And why do you think you couldn't be the one having a girl after a sway? It's totally possible! You have to believe in yourself :) And about everyone telling you it's a girl, people are doing the opposite overhere. Everyone tells me not to get my hopes up not to be dissapointed. It's like nobody would even believe it's a girl, it's depressing!
@yogi&booboo: your other children all came early? I'm crossing my fingers for the 37 week mark for this one. I always admire those women like you who have high risk pregnancies and still keep having children.
@boyzmommy: what a lovely clothes. Where did you get the onesie with the soft pink, grey and flowers? It's soooo my taste. Your belly looks totally normal to me for this stage with a thirth child. I'll post one of mine afterwards, but I believe it's almost just as big.
@Violet: my son is from 2011, so he's just like yours, very gentle and kisses all the time. When I had my second, he was only 15 months old, so it's a very different experience now and I'm loving it.
@Missiz: Welcome and congrats on your sweet baby :) I hope it's your girl.
@Mommymachine: I totally love Charlotte. It was on my list for a girl since I was little, but one of my best friends' name is Charlotte, so I won't name my daughter that way. But it's a sweet, beautiful, girly name. It's actually not that popular overhere...
@hopper: 13 weeks is actually the best stage to get a nub shot. I would totally ask for it. You've got nothing to lose.
@Signing: I hope this baby shows a heartbeat very very soon. Thinking about you!

This is my belly at 14w2d. I think it's huge, but I must say I gained 7 pounds since i quit LE diet. What about the other girls who were on LE? Did you gain fast once you quit the diet?

Very cute bumpy Fiya! I gained right away then haven't gained at all in a few weeks. You look great though!

Signing - so glad to hear things are progressing and looking positive! I hope you see everything is looking perfect Thursday at your apt. Keep us posted!
Hopper - I would ask for sure! I didn't and then I regretted it for days after! Even though we aren't finding out, I wish I would have at least had a good nub to guess on.
Fiya - super cute belly pic!! Love it! [emoji4]
I was bored yesterday so I went and registered at two places just for the fun of it (we're only putting one registry on our shower invites because I feel like most places all carry the same and the one place we're going has everything!) it was so fun to actually look at everything and spend time reading and analyzing. Plus, at the end I got some great coupons, 4 bottles, 2 pacifiers and a little white onesie! And I learned a lot!

I have no belly to take a picture of yet, but I've gained at least 8, maybe closer to 10 lbs since going off the LE. My DH says I gained all the weight back in my chest, as I'm suddenly filling my bras out again and they're less "empty balloon" like haha. That's one of my favorite and least favorite parts of pregnancy/nursing. I started out at a well shaped 34B and while I was nursing DS1, I ended up a 36DD, which would have been great if it had lasted! But instead, by the time I stopped pumping for DS2, I was a sad 32A.

Question for you ladies with kids already - how long did you keep baby in your room/bassinet after birth? We'll have a bassinet in our room, but won't be co-sleeping. Hubby broke his back about 10 years ago and sleeps with a ton of pillows for support, and I just know I'd sleep less if I was worried about pillows/hubby/blankets in bed possibly suffocating baby.
Our other issue is that baby will be born in May (great timing!). We have an older 2 story house and our bedroom is upstairs and nursery is downstairs. We did this because our bedroom and upstairs gets really hot in the summer (we do have a window air though in our room) and cold in the winter. Just the cons of an older house. So, I'm just worried that it will get so hot July and August in our room and harder to regulate the temp upstairs.
We have a monitor and I plan on getting maybe something that can notify us if baby isn't breathing. I think May and June should be fine in our room (so hopefully at the least around 7 weeks?). Too early to transition to crib? What would you ladies do?

Taytum. I cant be of help as i always wanted to transition for both ds1 n ds2 but i was always postponed it. And finally now my kids at 9 yr n 5 yr started sleeping together coz of my pregnancy [emoji16]
Otherwise i was sleeping with them. And i was sneaking out after they have fallen asleep.
But every baby is different i think. I m thinking of transitioning at 8 weeks this time to seperate room. Lets see how tht goes.
I dont think 7 weeks is early if u hve monitor but its a lot of work for u going up n down

Good point Boyz - part of me thinks it might be easier to transition sooner because we will have a rocking chair in baby's room. Basically in our bedroom it will just be me sitting in bed. I'm sure I'll feel differently when I'm sleep deprived haha

Taytum my babies have always slept in my room up until they are a year old. Crib next to my bed and bassinet in the living room. Have you considered buying the co-sleeper? It's like a mini bassinet you can put between both of you. I think I am going to get one this time since I will probably end with a csection/ hysterectomy and I dont know what that pain will be like. Im sure getting up will be more of a challenge this time around . I understand your feeling and I think sleeping baby separate isna great idea since you will train the baby how to sleep alone.

Hopper I'm with you on the tiredness, although my nausea hadn't gone anywhere just yet! Yesterday was a shocker and I felt really queasy all day and the smell of most things was turning my stomach! Good luck with your upcoming scan [emoji4]
Missiz that's exciting you are doing the NIPT, we can nub guess until the results arrive [emoji4] can understand you being scared also x
Signing I'm glad things seem to be progressing for you and sac had grown, it must be so hard for you not knowing for sure x
Cute belly Fiya [emoji4] I have put on a bit since coming off LE - hard not to indulge when you have been restricted lol and over Christmas time no less!
Taytum my babies have been in a bassinet next to my bed for the first 8 weeks then transitioned into a cot in a room right next to mine. I too would be worried about putting Bub in bed with you with your hubby's back etc. it may be a little hard with having bub downstairs though? All you can do is take it one day at a time and see how it works best for you, what works for one person won't be best for the next etc

Thanks for the advice re nub shot girls! I will definitely ask them and hope the tech is in a good mood lol :)
Signing I am so glad you and bump are doing ok!!! What a rollercoaster!! Hopefully at next scan you will see a fine heartbeat :) x
Fiya you have a wonderful bump for 14 weeks! So cute!! I have gained maybe 4 lbs since finishing LE but nothing else yet. My tummy is after popping out quite substantially, I am paranoid about it so have started wearing super baggy clothes!
OMG Has2 - I could have wrote that!! I started off as a nice perky 34B before DS1, never really changed on him just went up a cup size. And afterwards I was a 34B again but DS2 was the game changer! I went up to a 34DD but they shrunk to saggy balloons and in between an A and a B cup since. Now they are a good C, possibly heading toward a D. DH says it's like having a new woman - cheeky beggar!! :P
Lol Taytum I am zero use to you. I didn't transition DS1 til 11 months, he was in my bed prior to that. And DS2 has literally just started transitioning from my bed into a toddler bed (completely bypassing a crib) at almost 2 years of age!! Thankfully he is going well so far and honestly I miss his warm little trusting body cuddled in to me at night but needs must! I will remain quietly hopeful that I will be able to refrain from co sleeping with this LO, it's just way too easy when you are bone tired! I didn't start co sleeping with DS2 til his reflux got really really awful around 4-5 months old. Before that he was in a sleeper by the bed. I was just too tired to keep waking to prop him up at night to stop his projectile vomiting - I wouldn't wish a refluxy baby on my worst enemy!!!

Thanks for the input ladies! I actually saw those and made a mental note to put them on my official registry yesterday, yogi! I thought maybe that would be our first stop? Like I said, just more hesitant with the varying temp changes in the room to anticipate keeping baby upstairs with us for long. I'll worry (especially since it will be middle of summer) about overheating mostly, which is why we put the nursery downstairs since we spend all of our time down there throughout the day, and the house temp is so much easier to regulate. Hopefully we'll just know when the time is right!

Taytum our nursery is also on a different floor (our BR downstairs, nursery upstairs). We've used the same nursery for our other boys. We had a goal of 3 months in our room in the pack n play. And really it depends on the baby. My DS 1 was a light sleeper and we ended up putting him upstairs at 11 or 12 weeks. DS 2 was around 4 months. We also had video monitors when they were transitioned to their room. It just all depends on you and your LO.
We had our family gender reveal today and it went really well. I did openly discuss our disappointment at first since it's just our immediate families. Their reactions were just what I needed! Then I was absolutely shocked when I was privately talking to my Mom and discussing how I wasn't disappointed in another sweet boy, just not having that mother/daughter bond. She hugged me and said "you could always try again for a girl":omg:. She was hesitant of us having a 3rd because she's very frugal and doesn't think most people should have more then 2 kids.
The other crazy part is that SEVERAL people (at my work and family) thought we were going to have twins. I told them we already had an ultrasound and it's just one. A girl at work said "maybe one is hiding". Well today my SIL asked before the reveal if its twins (she's asked me before and I showed her the ultrasound ). I said no just 1. After the reveal my mom gave me a little boy outfit and I said "you knew?" She said "well I brought one for a girl too because I thought it was twins"..... she's seen my ultrasound too and knew it's one little baby. I'm a little baffled that so many around me thought it was twins. And it definitely had nothing to do with my bump size because I was bigger last time with DS 2.
I feel like I'm rambling now so sorry! Im just very happy that my family knows and we can talk about him openly. And no matter what our future holds (another child or not), I'm excited for our newest baby boy on the way:babym:.

Luvmyfam glad to hear your family are being so supportive.
Taytum I had ds1 and ds2 in my room with is for about 8 weeks. Found they started waking when dh was getting ready for work. By then they both started settling into a sleep routine and needed their own quiet room where we weren't coming and going. Just do what works best and take it as is comes.
Ladies I'm experiencing strong stitch like pain down one side and it's quite painful. I'm suspecting round ligament pain but don't remember this pain with my other pregnancies. Has anyone else had these pains?

I Have too a big bump I think! Thank u for your words I do feel I can't carry girls and this feeling became strongest after XX misscarriage as if she didn't want to stay with me... We Will see but so impatient I'm 9w4d today😃
I'll have a scan at 11w, It is too early for nub shot?? Then NT scan at 13w and gender scan at 15w!
Hopper and Mizziz, waiting with you for nub shot! So many scans to come, how exciting😊👍🏽!!
Netti, good luck for your scan, I hope so much you hear girl, that would be amazing!!!
Bluebooties, I am sorry you didn't hear boy, I know how you feel and I'm sending you lots of hugs💕💕
Signingmommy, Glad things seem to go well! Hope you hear the heartbeat at you next scan FX!!!
Taytum, my first son went in his room at 2 weeks because he was sleeping well and I was ok to get up and go in his room to feed him. The second one didn't sleep well for almost 1 year and so he slept in our room in his crib. I think It dépends on the child and it's good for the Baby and the parents to sleep in the same room for the first weeks/months especiallu when breastfeeding but you'll see that you Will know and Will do What best for u and your child and It Will be fine I'm sure😀

Bluebooties - so sorry you didn't hear boy. I can imagine it's so hard to know you put everything you have into swaying and it doesn't come out as planned. Take all of your time and we'll be here for you! ❤️
Mily - I think I've heard 11w is too early as they all look the same, but your NT 13w scan should be perfect for a good nub guess!! I also had some diarrhea early on and everyone said it was pretty normal. I agree keep an eye out to make sure there's no fever or blood, but otherwise just drink lots of water. Hope you get to feeling better!
Luvmyfam - so happy your family was supportive of you. I'm sure once your mom understood how important it is to you to have a daughter she could completely relate to you. That's so awesome!
Thanks for all of the input ladies! So I shouldn't be so concerned about the heat in our house in the summer? That's mostly what I'm worried about, not necessarily not having baby near me, but just making sure s/he is safe with the temperature influx. I'm going to hopefully just keep an eye on our bedroom temp and then if it starts getting warm begin that transition.

Violet I've had bad round ligament pain this time around. It is usually a sharp pain on one side when you sneeze, cough, laugh, stand up too quickly or roll over in bed. And it usually passes within 15 seconds or so. I have had a couple of bad ones that made me very sore for the rest of the day. If it's a sharp pain that stays for a long time it could be something else like a cyst and I would get it checked out.
